You make me want to play Vindictus again Kura. I get lonely though otherwise I’d probably be playing that or Skyrim/DarkSiders/Red Dead Redemption or any other exploration solo game.

I heard something about housing and decided to stick it out for a little longer, in the hopes I can spend my endless karma on it, that and in the hopes that the game might improve. Other then that it’s just do daily tasks and log off.

So far Galen you have managed to take things out of context, I’m speaking about smug elitism and and the lacking impact that most skills have and the synergy between different builds. Right now the game is going down a path where group play is headed towards “zerker” only builds and that kind of annoys me… It’s lazy design.

Also I would have gotten the new heavy legs but since they’re exposed I don’t even want them now. They look awesome too. : (

@Kura, that’s exactly what this game is now. It’s about getting ascended gear now, it’s about one set of gear that’s even viable, one holy build that makes all the others invalid, it’s about spamming number one and two and sometimes three. When it came down to the trinity in this game they had the right idea but failed to execute it.

Look at how awesome female light armor is. Then look at how bad male light armor is. This is a cosmetic-driven game where I, as a male spellcaster, can’t find any motivation to search for and earn light armor skins.

Heavy armour has the worst sets in the game not to mention the helmets are some of the worst I have ever seen. /Opinion, /RemoveArmourTypeBarriers.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen any fanboy cry out the holy quote: “It’s optional, you don’t have to do it.”

World bosses don’t really feel like bosses but rather a large annoying lag turret that targets your fps. World bosses are supposed to move around at least in that area anyway and try to track you down and kill you and everyone else in the zone, least the minions anyway. They’re supposed to be exciting fights that have variety to them.

Ree Soesbee is right, “As a structure, the MMO has lost the ability to make the player feel like a hero. Everybody around you is doing the same thing you are doing. The boss you just killed respawns ten minutes later. It doesn’t care that I’m there.” the last two sentences are actually true though.

The Cave Troll doesn’t really care that I’m there, all he wants to do is camp cows and kill chickens outside of Claypool. He doesn’t care that the whole town is hostile, if he did then he would go there and to other settlements and smash things until he cools down about his stone being stolen.

This is ironic, I rolled a Sylvari male for all of my characters because of clipping issues. Humans for me are great, loved them in the original guild wars but they were designed awfully in this game. Humans look far too cartoony for my tastes and the weapons were just far too low on the character’s waist. I don’t know what went wrong from the initial transfer but all I know is whoever gave the green light for these unfinished races should be fired. You just don’t rush a race.

Why does all the heavy armour helmets have to suck so much. Could we just this once get something along the lines of a mask like the light armour’s acolyte? Or even just wearing the water respirator on land would satisfy me.

I used to res people all the time but I just now stopped around a month ago because of this exact reason. If there was ever a rating list for bad gaming communities, Guild Wars 2 would surely win. I know I have to toss this in but: not everyone is like that but sadly mostly everyone is, I’m tired of dealing with selfish pricks.

I have a better plan. It involves luring the last surviving dragons to a remote area in which we trick the dragons into killing one another off. Then at their weakest moment have Trahearne and Destiny’s Edge sacrifice themselves detonating a massive bomb killing multiple birds at once with one giant stone.

Large shoulder pauldrons make you look awesome, hope they keep hammering them out. #increase human shoulder size for smaller physiques, that would be great.

This is cool and all but I would rather have an off hand sword or at least an off hand dagger flip so that it doesn’t clip. I for one would rather have it retract back into the gloves rather than replace them.
