Yes you can create custom playlists for certain circumstances (battles, bossbattles, ambient, night for example). I’m on my phone right now so I can’t give you a link but the wiki/google should have a guide for that; it’s pretty simple anyway. Iirc you can’t change the defeated soundtrack though, not that you want to hear that one often. :p

Guess I have to do that. Though I have to learn managing all those skills with my messed up motor skills first, which will already take a bit. After that I’ll master the art of sneaking my fire fields between other combo fields.

That’s probably because there usually is no need to farm that at all and you can’t farm them in a reliable way either. Maybe Krait in aquatic ruins, but meh.

So, I got lucky and I actually managed to get Lupi down solo. Thankfully, he only dropped dome once and I was lucky enough to survive the rest of phase 3, although I panicked a bit and he ran off the wall. To be fair, I even think fighting him off the wall in phase 3 is actually a bit easier for me.

The hammer issues is the least of the issues that afflict Fractals currently. Namely, rewards:time:difficulty.

What’s more beautiful than sitting in a 50s frac, getting cliffside as third fractal, getting close to the arm seals, falling down and having the hammer despawn, forcing you to start over without rewards at all? Bonus points if you had a few wipes before or were just slow.

I suspect necro dagger will get the same treatment as thief dagger. That definately is an improvement but it feels like a temporary solution until a new weapon comes along.

We can totally expect a cleave, but not just on two targets, most likely a true cleave like other classes.

The easy and obvious fix that would “fix” this and perhaps to a lesser degree FGS would be to make it so he doesn’t get stuck in the wall. No need for negating reflect on another boss. That would be a reasonable fix and would make him slightly harder.

As nice as the semi cleave for the dagger on thief is, there are fights where I actually enjoy the fact that the daggers don’t cleave, like Yanonka. But those are niche problems I guess.

What annoys me is the Black Powder change. I get it from a pvp point of view but we already have different boon durations in pve and pvp in some cases, different damage for confusion for example and different initiative costs for Pistol Whip in pve and pvp. So why not go all the way and split skills more between pve and pvp. Would make the initial effort greater, but make balancing all around much easier.

And I’m not that much of a fan of the adrenalin changes either.

ANet doesn’t want to have seperate skillpools which is stupid because they already have as you said + it would make things so much better.

May I present, my new Ele. I’m not too sure if I keep the colors of the armor like this or if I even change out the armor as a whole. Need to look at it for a few days to decide.

I do have to disagree with one thing though, I personally think Lupi not using the thunderdome on meleeing characters is an AI issue since if you move around at his feet he still will do it, its only when people don’t move that he doesn’t use it. That isn’t exactly the behavior of a ranged only attack.

He simply tries to catch players who try to move, be it towards him in order to melee him or away from him to get some distance. If you don’t move he has no reason to imprison you imo.

Hmmmm. Ok. I’ve never heard of this problem bring mentioned before and it’s pretty strange. As far as I can tell, in spite of it having barred doors, it’s not a separate part of the map and shouldn’t have any way to port you out.

It does however and I had it happen too. You’ll get an NPC saying “What are you doing in there?! We’re going to escort you out!” or something along those lines.

Having a weird ranger in my party right now. Spotter, jaguar, frost spirit, berserker gear but camps longbow. Old habits die hard I guess?

Believe me, it can happen. Did happen to me too. I have some classes where I usually have a signet equipped (Necro’s Signet of Spite for example) and if I use a IMS-Signet, I always switch out my normal signet. Sometimes I simply notice it too late.

Actually on necro or thief I can understand it better since their sigils lack color coding on top of the symbol and they usually slot signets in combat.
But most likely I’m just overly sensitive to the matter because I’ve seen people get kicked for something as trivial as that.

I’ll still not kick them from my nondescript group for that, but silently wonder how lazy someone can be.

I assume it’s not always the lazyness, sometimes you just forget about it. Maybe just friendly ask him if he doesn’t want to pick something else for this 25%IMS signet.

Fractals can give quite a bit karma.

However I’d like to see a karma reward for dungeon again, even if I have enough.

I know that, but apparently both PuG-communities seem to have some different… habits?
For example I heard that in NA, Kholer gets skipped very often – Never saw him getting skipped in EU.

Sadly, I’ve seen it happen. And not just once.
Group’s full and suddenly you’re one short while people are still zoning in. You just saw the kick vote pop up for a second before someone agreed. You ask “what the hell was that about?” and you get “speed sigil” as an answer.

The only good thing is that this happens at the very start of the dungeon and you can leave that group immediately as well without having lost much time. Because those are people I simply don’t want to play with, no matter what.

I really never had that happen either… Are you on EU or NA? My guess would be EU but you can never know.
