RoF isnt being double teamed, you are left alone most of the day except for some ppt-hungry AM blobs cruising through your border after they tried our T3.
It’s not like a GH blob would come to RoF BL and flip a t2 bay when it’s 2 dollies from t3 and then leave, capping nothing else*. GH would never do that. GH are in it for the fights with AM and leaving poor little RoF and WSR alone.
To be honest I’d prefer to see all of RoF capped by AM than one camp capped by GH. The more ppt and glicko AM get the better. Perhaps then they will pass Augury Rock and we will get something different next week. And that reflects perfectly the sad state of WvW for RoF and WsR.

Stop being so salty jeeze. GH has been in your position often too and being doubleteamed like crazy. I have seen you guys “doubleteam” on our home map aswell so stop trying to act like you guys never do that kind of stuff.
I have 3.5 years of experience with wvw beta as it never hitted alpha. Most if not all changes benefits the blobs.

1) thief is supposed to be deadly. It’s an assassin. I died many times to them, yer, but what I’m more concerned about is their teleport, not their condi/fast kills.
2) OP, sorry to say but you don’t know how to counter a thief. I play one, I play against all sorts of characters, even condi thieves, I simply know what to do to survive and you obviously do not.Both of you and everyone else complaining about something that is in absolute order – learn from your mistakes. It is very possible to survive a thief that drops condis on you. An Engi can do it with area reveal. A ranger has Sick’Em. Ele’s, Guards and others have condi cleanse.
What is your problem again?
My problem is people like you not getting the point. No class should be able to do damage while staying in stealth, is that SO hard to understand?? I know how to counter em and will remain doing that, thats not the problem.
Lets go back to people hacking under maps killing you while being invisible, maybe you get the point then.
Warriors and necros are manageable. Necros hide by doors and warriors run like hell once stances and endure pain is blown. The condi mes and thief though just make roaming more annoying.
Mes in particular needs to either tone down confusion application or actually nerf confusion altogether. The thieves are just annoying troll builds.
Fix perplex, trapper runes and confusion would probably be enough to reign it in a little without touching the classes. Dire/trailblazer wouldn’t be so bad without hitting from perma stealth and crazy confusion application.
Confusion in particular is anti fight and hits really hard just cycling through cleanses trying to clear it.
Get rid of perplexity and revert confusion to its original state. Only doing damage using a skill and not being a passive ticker as it is now.

If you are dead the auto loot won’t come in your bags nope. However if you spawn at a wp and the ones you tagged die, you will recieve it.
Remove HoT gimmicks and elite specs for a week. /sign.
This mode had great potentials at launch but i don’t think it can become the success it could have been. Shame anet really a shame.

Why? Smart play should be rewarded over mindless blobbing… If a zerg that big don’t know how to counter siege, they shouldn’t be rewarded with the structure.
The problem is: the blob don’t need to play smart counter siege since they can just AoE everything on top of wall making impossible for the defense to do anything unless you have enough people to fight head on. And this only promote more mindless blobbing. Why bother defending while outnumbered if the zerg can just roll over anything and everything? With the reward tracks now in place WvW is getting closer to EotM with each passing day.

There are multiple ways to counter ANY siege ANYwhere. No need for topics like this.
We know all about counter siege.. The point is IT is BORING and running off players from the game. There IS a need for threads like this IF you want to:
- Increase game population
- Increase player satisfaction
- increase game longevity
Counter siege =\= bringing the fights back to objectives. Counter siege=\= make the game action packed and fun. Counter siege =\= increasing the games longevity and overall player satisfaction.
THAT is why there is a need for threads like these.
Siege has been in game since launch. The reason people leave en masse ( least the one i know of ) doing that cause of the kitten ups with HoT and the class imbalance – Especially when it comes to small combat.
There are multiple ways to counter ANY siege ANYwhere. No need for topics like this.

1 tick of meteor shower should not be hitting 8k damage that’s more than half my hp bar, the damage should be reduced by quite a bit its not even remotely balanced .
Guess you and the ele runs full glass. Yes i’ve been hitted hard by meteor showers too but if i point my bow towards them they tend to eat big damage too. And the problems you mentioned in your OP are not exclusively due to eles/necros as most classes can spam aoes and its the pirate ship meta. ( boring yes but well it is what it is )

Many of you have been inquiring as to why we made the decision to remove the crafting stations in WvW. We made this decision because we have been seeing an increase in queue times with world linking. Upon observation we found there have been players taking up space in the maps who are only crafting and not participating with their teams. However, we’ve been listening to your feedback today and we wanted to let you know that we will be adding a banker to each team starting area in EB, Alpine and Desert. Thank you for the continued feedback!
Will you chaps also redesign that place cause the flags with professions are still there.

Since a few days i have serious lag problems, usually i’d get some cause blobs are around but as of lately it’s almost unplayable at some points.
On ranger 7765 hours, with a total deaths of 12.795. Yes i yolo a lot and don’t care about dying in a bloody video game.
When ya get a rage whisper it means you have done something good. Also reply with something completely unrelated like “My hedge is 16inches thick”
It’s a feature introduced with DBL simply cause keeps were to big and it is very easy to hide in them without stealth. However it should not made it to alpines, its already easy to sweep em.
Btw theres a smal spot at bay cliffs (ne), if u stand on the lip the marked won’t pop there.
I don’t really understand why you can’t make your tag whatever color you want. The color scheme is a server decision and should not be predetermined. I’ve been on a server where the color dictates the role of the commander but 4 is simply not enough to encompass all the roles that are available.
Yes, they are supposed to be coming out with more colors sometime.. But you know, everyone is going to fight over having the pink tag once they do.

Seems to be not a bug, but whenever a guild reclaims it you will have to wait for the upgrade tiers to be unlocked again. Takes about an hour for Presence of the Keep upgrade.

Every condition he applied from stealth and MORE can be applied without stealth and every Immobilize the thief has while stealthed and MORE can be applied without using stealth. If you die in 3 seconds to a Gost theif with its limited Condition access, how well do you fare against a real condition build that can lay down far more condition damage in the same period of time?
Probably really bad in most cases, but it doesnt change the fact that I would be able to engage said condition build and probably damage him real bad in return (especially if he also sacrifices sustain for damage) because I can see him and I can damage him and I can counter attacks by dodging, blocking, reflecting, etc. Even the nastiest of condi builds in perplexity mesmers doesnt even come close, you can still try to target them between stealth and anticipate/counter bursts.
A ghost thief is never seen, cannot be damaged unless by pure luck of you anticipating you will be attacked by one while randomly running and having AoE down already and you cannot counter any trap attack other than condi cleanse after the fact.
I dont mind thieves in general. Not even bouncing practicly unhittable daredevils, because I can still fight them.
This just isnt defensible no matter how much you argue or twist it. Permastealth is stupid, it’s always been stupid since GW2 release and when you combine it with traps that doesnt reveal and still deal huge amounts of condi damage it’s the epitome of stupid.
I have yet to die to any of these thieves on any of my toons.There are NOT huge stacks of conditions applied from stealth using traps. You resort to hyperbole or just do not know how to counter.
At most the traps will apply 2 stacks poison 6 stacks bleed IF the thief manages to double up on needle trap. That will not kill anyone that knows how to play. No other thief trap applies conditions. Are you seriously claiming this kills you?
I can trait a thief using p/d to use sneak attack and apply 5 stacks bleed, 6 stacks poison , 4 stacks torment on a single attack. This attack can also apply 5 stacks confusion and a possible 3 more torment . The attack will reveal me but it still done from stealth. Do you die to such attacks and what does “I see you” allow you to do that you can not do if you stepped on a trap? Sneak attack is an attack OUT of stealth.
only one theif trap has an immob. Most classes can break an Immob. Use what you have. Just because the thief hidden does not mean you can not do anything to counter. A Ghost theif must rely on d/p and GS for stealth so generally has no ini. His traps on a 24 second cooldown and only one has conditions. He then must ensure you step in that trap. Use this to your benefit.

If i press alt in wvw i won’t see my own title eeeeeeek time to stop play wvw until they fixed it! where are me pitchfork and torch!
I am not gonna participate in ranked pvp anymore if they don’t restore these badges like it was before the patch ! end of story ! in fact the more they do changes likes this the less im gonna play gw2 at all, until i quit playing completely ! this is an outrageously unfair change !

Cap 5 sentries in max time of 30min, requires 3 people to actually do so. Simply remove this restricition, makes no sense at all.
Anet should just put some raw damage to the traps, so when it triggers the teef pops out of stealth.
While they may not be OP or a big threat according to some, it should NOT be possible to kill people while BEING 100% in stealth.
