Funny to see many being surprised about the fact we won’t get the old borderlands back in their original state. Never learned from the past?

Those moments you get a keep finally to tier 3 with a wp while fighting your kitten off to get those dolyaks in. Those camp fights over and over again to keep them at your side. I might add some more once my brain is fully functioning again..

Before HoT, I used to get most of them from camp supervisors.

You can basicly reduce the 4 steps into 1: megaserver it!

It is quite funny how pulling 1 or 2 levers can screw fights over. Also sad when you think about it. Don’t know what they have been smoking in the office but i sure would like some too to get so deluded.

Yes map looks gorgeous but is better of as a dungeon map. Bay/Hills/Garri paths with a big legendary duck in the middle.

I think you might want to read this stuff again and understand what is being discussed.

I’m pretty sure you should take the time to read the 6 words I typed. If you have someone tapping your keep kill them. If they come back kill them again, eventually they get tired of it. If you can’t do it just send a engineer to do it for you.

Nowadays you just have to get an archer’s attention to get a keep contested, rather then tapping a gate. I tapped keeps and been killed over and over, yet its faster to run back then the 3min it takes to get rid of the contested wp.

This “change” on top of the perma contested waypoint is just a bit silly and should be “changed”.

I am sure whatever they going to patch, it will make things even worse. So don’t hold your hopes to high.

Only to f2p players so they can buy it? One huge flaw in this suggestion; They happily glide around WvW until they buy the game and realise they can not glide anymore.

Who needs stealth to contest a waypoint? Just taunt a guard and you are done nowadays. Don’t even have to run all the way to a gate to tap it. So yeah this could get a “fix”.

Who are you and why should you get a reply over others?

Wvw pop is more on the players then Anet you simply cant make ppl move to where they do not want to go. When you ask for population control ask your self are you willing to move to fix it? If not then your asking others to do something your not willing to do.

The old bl do not fit wvw any more. The only way to bring them back is to update them to fit current wvw and that would require a major over hall. So every thing you see in the new bl you will need to retrofit the old bls from towers to keeps to camps.

In wvw all guilds are useful and all players are. You only need a set number of guilds to clame points per map and if every guild could do this then you will simply have “troll” guild greffing the other teams. Think of wvw less about guild aimed and more world aimed when it comes up claming and upgrading.

WvW dose have a reward track it is rank up keep in mind there more going on then just the chest and at one point it was a wanted thing to rank up but once made account bound (ppl wanted this) it become less relevant. Think of it from a point of view of a new player who has no to low rank each rank up is a major thing. You do not want to add too much rewards in wvw or you will have wvw as a pure pve event cutting down on the fighting the real aim of wvw.

The game is about playing with other ppl more so with wvw you should not be rewarded to much for staying away from other ppl.

Still blindly white knighting i see, 6/10.

Balance is out of the window since HoT.

You sure can report. Submit a ticket to CS using the Support button at the top of this page. Give exact spelling of the character names. Even better, if you can give the display names (Like Fred.1234) that helps. If it’s a guild, CS needs to know which people were involved, as indicting an entire guild for the actions of individual members isn’t something we’d want to do.

You normally cannot attach screenshots to the initial ticket, but if CS needs or wants them, they’ll let you know how to send them.

I know how this score system works and yes, offtime gives more points then primetime. Esp on our server but i already sucked it up and knowing this system is 3years old i dont see any reason why they would suddenly change it.

There are also several voices in the forum, saying that the death of WvW isn’t HoT (that was only the last nail, but WvW was already lying in the coffin), but that less and less people have the “PPT attitude”.

Btw.: How can someone by punished by a score-multiplier, if he doesn’t care about PPT? And how can it be punishment, to take someone the advantage he had away to make him equal?

No. Just drop the ppt attitude, have fun while playing so people wont have to come with redicilous proposals to cut off other people fun…

Why do people still want to punish others that play outside their timezone.. Just drop the PPT attitude and enjoy your time online. Log and don’t bother to think about scores. It won’t change annyway so get over it already.

Won’t happen as it is a quality of life feature and anet does not do that. I got the feeling they have stocks in mice manufactures, each time they sell a mouse anet gets 5% of the profit.

Yeah this could be somehow annoying. But i prefer this over a maintenance of approx 3 hours ( read 5) where you can not even log in. Imagine that, instead of missing one meta you will be missing 3!
