Make oasis a free for all glider zone and add laser guns so we can pewpew lasergame eachother there. Maybe some updrafts/ley lines to shake it a bit more up.

I’m a happy glider in DBL, the map that seems to be made for gliding. it’s very restricted and perhaps a few spots could use some polishing so people cant glide into other stuff.

If ya already have the normal tag and the “apple” mentor one, is there any need to get a 3rd other then just prestige?

I have glided away from fights before it even got added. DBL Hills windfall and the haybales all over helped me a lot.

In wvw you can check ssc, for enemy players, using the vistas.

Can also have a peak into south dbl towers to see where they have put siege down.

Can always ask for a 2nd SM in DBL oasis so people can rub their kitten on it.

You guys can put whatever label or justification you want on it, but chasing down players that don’t want a 1v1 because they aren’t speced for it and u get no reward for it seems like bullying to me. It barely helps out your server and then the rest of the time I see roamers standing around in an open field waiting for people to come along. Seems like they want pvp where they stand little chance of losing.

Also saying that everyone has access to the same builds, while true the difference between a 1v1 build (which might it add uses stats and skills that were deemed op and were balanced out of spvp for that exact reason, or were balanced out because the goal is to hold an objective and not reset a fight a million times at your leisure) vs someone speced for zerg vs zerg, is like someone going up against a hand cannon with a knife.

Roamers are simply seeking unfair matchups and little else.

How about instead of being a victim, you practice and hone your skills so you can give as good as you get. There’s pride in knowing your class so well that you can handle anything you encounter, and it makes you an invaluable member of your team.

Every person in WvW has done 1,000 faceplants. Learn from them.

I consider 1000 faceplants as a beginner. Roaming ehhh bullying since 2012!

That’s exactly the whole point of new elite specs. Make em so powerful that the previous builds can’t compete with it so people buy the expansions.

Actually elite specs are not supposed to be so powerful that they invalidate previous builds to force expantion sales. ArenaNet has stated multiple times that elite specs are NOT supposed to be upgrades from core. They are only supposed to provide alternate ways to play a class or allow furthar xpecialization into an existing play style.

Jump into WvW and see for yourself. A very few selected vanilla builds able to compete there.

It took 250 mastery points to unlock the HoT elites. I assuming it will be something close to that. It cost 10 proof of heroics per HoT mastery point and each one gives 10 hero points. I doubt they would chance the formula much.

Originally they costed 400, before they came with proofs and stuff. Been changed to 250 a cpl months later.

My understanding is that if you don’t own the structure, you can’t glide in that area. Or am I reading that wrong?

Other question: if team A owns say Lang, and team B owns their keep, can one glide into the other structure? Or do you hit the territory “wall” and drop once you reach it?

Can only glide in teritories you own, so as an attacker you can not glide there, only defenders.

And to all those people saying people would just glide off instead of running; You still need some high ground to make your glider pop. Also running off still faster so stop freaking out.

I’ve been playing since launch. The best thing I’ve had “drop” albeit from a large chest in VB was a rare staff skin (Lightbearers?). With a food luck buff my luck is around 183. Whether this has any effect on the RNG I’m not sure.

Magic Find does not affect bags/chest, however there are a very few exceptions.

Blackgate is not the only one with lagtraps. Many other servers carrying them with them causing massive skill lag/screen freezes.

Get on map. Do some dailies and run around to open some waterlogged chests to get pearls. Unlock the shrine waypoints which are free to use. Get alt on map and use said shrine waypoints for free to get more pearls.

I don’t get this type of complaints. Seriously this map is so tiny a keep on DBL might be even bigger.

Players projectiles should still be able to go through that bubble. Kind of kittened the blob can sit in it throwing out aoes from a safe place where as opposite group has to run INTO them to damage them.

I think that the only WvW update in the new xpac will be more unbalanced elite specs and a ton of PvE that has to be done to get the best armor stats to take advantage of them.

I just dont get these complaints. Yes you might get kicked while you play but that takes like 5min tops? Instead of scheduled 12 hours on a weekday. I prefer this over that.

I havent seen anyone mentioning the ghost npcs handing out a special item you can use one boss to make this kitten easy.

Seen it happen too. Was hovering my mouse over camp saying no RI but lord still had about 20sec on it.

Pulling a tactivator makes the whole map disconnect. With a chance to get stuck on loadscreen with your current toon. Takes about 10 minutes to get back on.

Many weapon skins costed 2 tickets though. Been changed a long time ago form 1 to 2 for some reason.

Well…trailblazer is technically more than just 1 offensive condi stat, however still a bit tanky so your point would be somewhat valid :p

All of these are good points, but,

I find the placement system much worse than the decorations themselves:
- No rotating (besides on one axis) or scaling.
- Collisions are always either on or not implemented, no toggle etc.
- No isometric view so everything is warped by perspective.
- No grid.

These things alone make decorating extremely frustrating,- and if you fixed them, people would be able to do a hundred times more beautiful scenery with the existing decorations than they already have.

Look up “terraining” in other games to see what I mean.

Spot on. Quite annoying to allign stuff right next to eachother. Also you cannot rotate/move existing decoration without having to remove them in first place.

Roam around in the achievements/collection tabs. Lots of fun ones to get without have to combat. Or adventures/jump puzzles.

Sometimes im about to wear sunglasses playing this game.
