Only thing that needs changing is the fire lord, that thing has so much fear and knockbacks it’s insane. Either tune up earth and air keep lords to its level of tune her down but the disparity between fire and the others is insane.
Air lord was on par with fire one before they took out all those wind turrets around lords room, thankfully.

I’ve spended all my tourney tickets afraid it would become a useless currency, which was partly true until now. Should i demand anet to rollback so i can get my tickets, or should i just suck it up and “grind” my way to this backpack hmmm….
Can change the BLoodstone Fen Ruby backpack stats for 100 unbound magic.

Funny they complain about the rewards as lots of us have played this mode for years without them. Ya come with fractals as a comparison, a new player still needs to have ascended armor and the AR needed, unfair!
Everyone should get the same pips for playing in wvw.
You don’t get legendary armor or legendary fractal back piece faster because you have been playing pve for 5 years.
You don’t get the legendary spvp back piece faster because you are rank 80 and played spvp for 5 years.
Kind of weird comparison you make here. When the legendary backpack in fractals got released my friends gone for it right away, where as i had to get my ascended gears and the required AR to get it. Did you saw me making posts about how unfair it was that i had to go through a “grind” when they could get it right away? Nope i just sucked it up and went ahead, same should be applied to this backpack. You will take a bit longer then the vets but in the end ya all get the same, not more. Just faster.
Golem duplicity bug. When you just builded one and got in with multiple people at the very same time, everyone would get a copy. Was probably the idea of golem week just before HoT launch to get rid of these bugged blueprints.

Not sure if this a good thing to tell here, but if you are in your home borderland, you can teleport from watercamp to enemy spawn simply by jumping in that waterfall.
Edit; Dawdler’s post just reminded me on what we called the World Peace glitch, everyone was “friendly” and we could port eachother to our spawn dancing with the “enemies”.

Who cares if people looking for more pips, i don’t.
Been playing wvw since 4-5 years so those tickets aren’t a biggy to get through normal gameplay.
Can’t wait for the sentry one.
None of these complaining pvers ever mentioned all the world buffs we vet wvw players accumulated forthem over the past years. Now we vet wvw players get something in return ( quicker rewards, not more) its boohoo unfair. Get over it and grind for it if you want something.
Yep it will take a while, but if you enjoy this it won’t be such a big deal. Have a whole week to get those pips.
- General supply scarcity: Upgrades used to drain supplies, so most keep defense involved more hand to hand fighting instead of disablers – sieges – repair – rinse – repeat. It had less boring part of trying to grind through the wall. kitten shield gen that blocks trebs and cata foreve
- WP every 3 minutes, whereas now it’s wipe once – gg. Made it a lot more satisfying to defend a keep you dedicated time to upgrade, knowing you won’t lose all your hard work just from 1 quickie half wipe
- Upgrade customization: paper and wp or reinforced first then wp? More variety of gameplay and balance between keeping a group out or fighting them directly.
Upgraded camps (especially spawn camp) had so much importance in order to safely upgrade the keep. ^All of that.
*Better roaming. There was a lot more build variety pre HoT and a lot less power creep.
*Stability actually working and not being insta stripped from the over the top cc spam.
^All of this, plus a myth called balance.
Anet really likes their matroesjka style with loots. bag from a bag that came from a chest which was in a chest just to get 1 item. Would think they’re affiliated with some mice brands to make some money.
Ddidnt the Laurel Vendor sold ‘’Thimble of Liquid World Experience’’ (1 Laurel = 2,500 world experience)
and they removed it when HoT launched because ppl unlocked the Elites specs more easily ?
It hasn’t been removed, those liquids still drop but get added straight away instead of in your bags.
It’s not discrimination. It is rewarding those who’ve played wvw for years. Why should new players, who might leave wvw altogether when they have their rewards, get the same amount of pips as those loyal to the game mode?
I welcome everyone new to wvw, and hope you find it fun, but you have to earn your ranks and rewards like the rest of us. Wvw has been neglected for ages, so it is past time for those of us playing this game mode to get something from it.
Please remember, someone else’s rank doesn’t take away from your fun and rewards. Stick with wvw and you’ll get there soon enough yourself!
I have to strongly disagree for one very specific reason that Anet hasn’t taken into account at all.
Rank does not always mean ‘time in WvW or EOTM’.

Back in the day when WvW was younger and we still had tournaments, we had World Experience Potions [

So, I believe it is fair to say that the system just implemented isn’t fair at all.
And no I am not a new WvW’er or new player, but since I’ve been playing since pre-release, I can see where newer players and those just now being tempted to come into WvW would be and are upset.
And rightfully so.
Those wxp potions you mention are still around, they jsut get added straight away instead of getting in your bags.
Most broken class ever. That’s for sure.
Create your own squad and invite all the rejects into it. Problem solved.
It’s not unfair nor discriminating. It’s there to reward those who played this game mode with lackluster loot while you and your pve buddies were drowning in it.
You can save a lot of gold now if you choose the improvement/upgrades from the chests. No more flax fibers needed.
Just take a small break till the pvers realise what kind of grind they have taken on. Couple of weeks and it should normalize again i’d guess.
If you get kicked and it annoys you, get friends on their ranger/teef and follow that sadmander to annoy him back. Theres no need to be in a squad anyway.
Yeah, this is about what I was expecting, and you’re right. I’ve actually never even left the Defend Shaemoor instance in the human tutorial. That’s how I’ve gotten 25k achievement points and 5 legendary weapons and a legendary back piece. #Geniuses

How many people do you think have Sunrise, Twilight, Eternity, or the other Legendary weapons with particle effects? You think you get to tell them they can’t use them anymore?

+1. I often do jump puzzles and still find myself triggering the glider and “missing” the jump. Also some puzzles have the no glide icon first half, other half it is gone.
If they are interested in the game mode then shinies would be secondary to it, not the defining reason why they are there.

I know people who got to diamond rank solely in WvW so your EOTM point is moot.
Just suck it up OP. It is not going to change and with the last patch it is even faster then ever before. If you really cant be bothered but do want to have your legendary, pop in do dailies for 20 days and you have your gift. Try that with the other gifts.

OP talks about the skirmish chest badges which get in your bag instead of your wallet.
We need to update the loyalty pip description.
You need to earn at least 75 pips for 3 weeks in a row to earn the loyalty bonus. We wanted players to have to participate in skirmishes to be considered loyal.
got more than 75 pips, the loyalty pip still didnt pop up.
Now continue that for 2 more weeks as it says.
You randomly get the potions from rank up chests……. they auto consume
Also drops from players, being added to your wxp bar right away.

You do know that legednary backpacks so far are all specific to their gamemodes and don’t need anything outside their gamemode right? Pvp back doesn’t require anything outside of pvp and same with PvE backpiece
Legendary PvP back needed PvE materials though.
What PvE materials did it need? T6 mats? Those are gotten from reward tracks quite easily, and from Laurels which you get from just logging in…. so where do you have to PVE?
You don’t even need Mystic coins to make the Ascension trust me I know since I made one in s3
Not to mention heavy loot bags for t6 mats – synthesizers.

Makes no sense for me. Lets say a high and low ranked player duo roam doing the exact same things. Why should one of them earn more/less pip than the other?
Because they havent done the exact same things, otherwise they would have the same rank.
That’s not what the OP means, if he is lets say rank platinum and his roam buddy bronze he would get pips faster.
They doubled siege hp but now you have the opportunity to crit/condi them as a trade off.

Ghost teef hands down. Ofcourse the “perma” evade is annoying but you can see what is going on. Unlike ghost teef, condis out of nowhere.
