My expectation will be that wvw going downhill further next expansion. I’m sure Anet won’t let me down on this.

Got my full set of ascended through wvw drops only, yes lucky.

Why are you guys so upset about items that are on par with ascended and require a kitten ton of grinding.

Siege cap is 5 of them in a 1k units radius. Rams are excluded from it.

Lots of nodes already available to have wars about. It’s called World vs World.

Give all camps the Iron Guards upgrade so they last a bit longer then 3seconds.

Or how about we dont remove everything that makes GW2 just GW2 and instead actually focus on fixing major balance issues like condition output of certain builds, healing output of certain builds, stealth stacking and possibly even scoring issues if we are feeling ambitious?

I agree with major balances in builds classes most used in wvw but still feels less rewarding specially in outnumbered fights that we down someone and they r insta brought back because of numbers ONLY. but i can take babysteps. Remove downsstate while outnumbered buff is on then.

That last idea seems appealing. When a server is outnumbered, there’s no downstate for other servers. Insta kill, and no revive. My sadistic side also thinks of a “time out” of killed players from non-outnumbered players.

So you would be totally ok with fighting say 2v5 and you dont have downstate but the 5 do?

Because that’s still what will happen when those 5 are outmanned on the border because your side got 30 people AFK queueing EB in spawn.

He said other servers, not the one that has the outnumbered.

Yeah thiswould be so cool. Actually roaming or smallscale would improve so much.

Also a nice tell to the server that outmans the ohter that they have more then enough to take on keeps and stuff.

Which is what happened for the first 3 years where changes to siege/defense were relatively minor

Ironic in regards to the topic, siege changes where minor except for arrowcarts which first saw a nerf due to community demand and shortly after they boosted AC damage instead by like 100% which has stuck with us despite complaints every kittening day.

Edit: for fun I dug up Anets balance patch to ACs… “minor” yeah

Increased arrow-cart damage:
Increased Fire damage by 80%.
Increased Fire Crippling Arrows damage by 17%.
Increased Fire Barbed Arrows damage by 60% and increased the Bleed duration to 15^^seconds.

(Same patch also added extra mastery damage – the above is in addition to that)

The range of ac’s was also increased, nerfed in a later patch. Cata’s weren’t safe even on max range lol.

Maybe the nerf to hardened gates upgrade was noted as toning down tower defenses?

Be glad this game doesnt go down for a whole day a week. Also be glad wvw isnt down for hours before a reset as it was on launch. Maybe it was a bad timing yeah but its bearable with these things in mind.

20ish days of doing just dailies and you have it. Try that with map completion/all those collections.

The longer travel times argument is really outdated with all the stuff they opened/changes to shrine and haybales all over the place. It is not my favourite map but i dont mind it that much anymore.

I’d encourage everyone to run the most broken builds vs them. Shame ghost teef got nerfed.

Uhm gift of battle is like what, 2% of all the grinds? Wvw players have to get out of their way for much longer then a pve player to get theirs.

Boomerang instead of axe main hand for my ranger. Skills already have a boomerangish effect.

Defender role sounds like a mobile shield gen. Imagine all the german monkeys when this thing gets real.

Deso might not have the population as it used to have back in t1 but calling it a wasteland is not the good word for it. You guys still have lots running around as i can see in this current MU.

Shouldn’t restrict this kind of stuff behind ranks imo. Maybe some proofs/badges which most ppl drown in.

yea, tournaments are the way to go to revive WvW. the reason they gave was absurd, IIRC they said they don’t want tourneys because they see a sharp decline of players after tourney ends.

i mean, issn’t that normal? a surge in players will result in a decline. nothing wrong with it. tourneys actually give a reason for interest of PPT

Clearly using some hack/glitch to avoid conditions at all. He gets hit couple of times without a single condition ( albeit a bleed or a vulnerable) being on him.

It seems to affect our garrison, green got hills to t2 and theres nothing wrong there.

Condi cap won’t fix it anyway as you will be dead way before you get burns to stack to 25.

Some people not familiar with the aprils fools concept.

Make condis reflectable, like people with power builds have to deal with it, then we can have a gut power vs condi discussion.

Although I can imagine them making a new tangled depths ebg type map and then trying to replace ebg with it, until we get through 10 polls asking if it should stay or be deleted, if it should replace ebg or be on rotation, or just exist along side ebg.

People will buy it for the new overpowered elite specs alone, just like the last expansion. At least there isn’t anymore guild stuff to repackage in there too… I think.

This time they will take away our wvw masteries, make it a massively grind to get it back and call it new content. Like they did with guild upgrades.
