I am not against it nor i want them. Why are people SO obsessed with them? I played a game where you can get tons of mounts and to be honest, i like the way gw2 is with waypoints and stuff.
This game is not the right one to have mounts so get over it, wont happen ever.

Just do like me, grind through your Techno 12" and you will find amazing names, like my ranger Big Babou ( Laurent Garnier – Sound of the Big Babou ).

Melee rangers scarier then the good ole bearbow rangers, at least thats my experience from swapping my LB to sword/torch axe/dagger.

Edit: I just had a similar fight at vale camp, also 2 warriors vs 1 ranger but these did not ran but got properly killed by me. Shame i didnt record it.

They should just add a timer. And not a huge one. Something like 30 seconds to 1 minute before it automatically waypoints you back, regardless whether or not someone is trying to rez you.

There is a timer of 15min, if you remain dead you will get kicked from game due to inactive. However its easy to reset that timer just by switching a piece of gear. Yes switching gears, when you are dead.

Heh, yeah, we had a mesmer the other morning in one of the keeps we took sit at the gate dead for over two hours, he was changing armor to avoid forced respawn. His friends would come up and try to res, he did get revived once but we had a ballista trained at him and he got one shot. They did eventually manage to get him up and portal into the keep inner. Thankfully we had people nearby and were able to repel them. He died away from a gate that time.. I guess he probably didnt want to sit for another few hours. Dedicated mesmers…

I do not see Anet changing hard rezzing through gates, but at least they should make it so people can not just change a piece of gear and lying dead somewhere for hours.
Why that is possible in first place, i have no idea.

If you have ever read a single other WvW post in this section you will see that they all have the same basic question, “Why doesn’t Anet focus on WvW at all?” Because they don’t. Just learn to deal with it and wait for other games to come out like the rest of us.

You better be careful cause soon Lordkrall comes to tell you what they are working on and why they cant say anything about it to us.

Should just add in some kind of Reward/Achievement system with ranks, as in every 100 ranks you get 10 AP and a nice reward every 250ish. 100 ranks takes way longer to achiev then getting the LS meta done every 2weeks.

Just my thoughts on making it a bit more interesting then the good ole RNG crap.

To me, WvW is a huge 24/7 battleground where you can have infinite fun just by roaming / taking structures / defending structures / have some fun with guildies and friends / having fun with the enemies etc etc, still keeps me entertained to this day.

I remember a dev posting in another thread with same issue saying they will pinpoint it down and try to fix it. Eight or more months ago. Dont hold your breath on fix on this as it has nothing to do with living story/gem store crap.

Aaaah a friend who just read this topic said its only on 1 of the 3 towers, funny how i never noticed it on Green Briar Tower lol.

This stuff really bothered the majority of wvw players, glad its fixed now phew.

So today me and some guildies defended Briar vs some enemies with success. However there were some thieves on their side so after closing gate i decided to do a silly sweep so as usual i jumped down at the lords room. I did not spotted any of them so thought i would do the same ole jump back from there into the tower…..But i could not anymore. No matter where i tried, i could not get up that small ledge anymore, something i have been able to since i started. Did Anet silently fixed this? I will add a screenshot so ya guys know what im talking about.

Safe way – pull some guards behind a house or anything else so you dont aggro them all and kill them, make sure you kill the scouts first cause their blinds can be a bit annoying.

The problem is that it worked fine on my other characters, I could easily surpass the 3 limit on the side. I have asked my guildies and they have stated the same.

I have a feeling that if you surpass a certain number of chests problems start appearing. I think I got around 15 levels plus a few double chests putting it around 20 or so chests that just vanished. It’s not really a big deal because that’s just around 4 gold and some crappy greens.

I just want to hear what became of this as the OP never updated and the bug is obviously not fixed.

Silly question, but why would one save em all up? its not like you get a rank chest every 5min so you save em up to keep some bag space open for other items.

Anet dont do boats. Claw Island is the only real moment you see a true dynamic boat in GW2 and unless they fixed it recently, it still look hilarious sitting many meters too low in the water (end mission cinematic, not the static boneship)

Boa Constrictor – F2 will strangulate its target and squeeze life out and call it “Eye Popper”

So far i only used it to “troll” with. i.e an ele friend stands around a sentry in WvW i put pet on guard next to him and hide myself behind a wall or rock. I even saw a topic about cheat accusations of a necro with a juvenile x pet. Made me laugh as another ranger probably did the same “troll”

Edit: and ofcourse to proc Nature’s Voice trait.

And on a side note, most people say ranger are “crap” yet those people have one on 80. lol

Well if this bug is known since beta i suggest you to bump this thread for another 2 year. Appearantly they dont know or dont even want to fix it so dont hold your breath.

I know several spots like that in WvW borderlands, run down a slope and lose like 80% of your health, or even better, dead lol.

Just as miraculous as bird pets taking fall damage. Or burning condition under water.

I sometimes dance/laugh on the corpses of guardians/thieves/warriors in WvW, when roaming. If people play one of these professions and still manage to die, they deserve it.

I usually eat a bunch of Zhaitaffy and vomit on corpses of players that i manage to kill because if they cant kill me first, they deserve it.

In my opinion, the LFG Tool is completely inappropriate for dungeons. “If you don’t like it, start your own group” is the completely wrong paradigm.

• There should be no such thing as a “dungeon opener” or an entitled feeling like you “own” a dungeon and everyone else joined “your” group.
• There should not be an opportunity to ascribe comments or demands to a dungeon in the LFG listing. There should not even be an LFG listing, where you choose a party — you should blindly queue for a random party, like in most other MMOs. “5k AP zerker warrior only” is not a request that deserves to be recognized or enforced
• There should be no one who is immune from being kicked. Anyone should be able to be removed from the group, as long as 4 out of 5 group members agree. If you can’t come to a consensus about whether an individual is causing a problem, then you probably don’t have a good reason to kick in the first place. Maybe an exception can be made if other players are left AFK for a while.
• There is no reason to wipe the party chat log after you leave a group or are kicked. That makes no sense at all, and makes it a lot harder to report legit cases of griefing, harassment, offensive language, etc.

+100 on this already. This will get rid off all the trolling around with kicking and the “5k ap or kick” behaviour.

Do what I do solo towers as long as the extra guards/increased guard lvl are not present it should not be a problem. I will note I only solo towers with my guardian and necromancer so class may be an issue but I don’t know for sure.

Its pretty easy on ranger too, no issues to solo flip towers at all.

It’s completely absurd only one person has to approve the kick, it should be at least 3 people to get the kick done. Sadly Anet likes to give people troll stuff like this.

Buy Orrian jewelry boxes and get yourself some nice RSI from clicking them to open and then consuming millions of karma jugs out of it. Enjoy.

It might be another form of the popular stuck in place bug ( as if you are immoblized ).
Have you tried an emote like /sit to see if you can get away from it?

14 ranks is not much, first 4-5 ranks are just 1000 wxp each and if you wanna get them fast, go EOTM.

Yea, happened to my pet a few times after respawning being killed. It just burns or bleeds to death.

7-8 months ago a dev replied on this issue saying they are trying to pinpoint it and fix it. Guess its fixed in 2051 (no not a typo)

Why dont they make the colours simply random, with a 33% chance to get it. It only affects eternal battleground as other 3 maps are all the same.

They really know how to waste potential. Simply look at WvW, got so much yet nothing gets done with it. And about the zergs anywhere in PvE, thats exactly the reason i dont do PvE – spamming #1 with hundreds of other people gets boring really fast so i stick with roaming in WvW.

I have noticed it as I am on build master II and I upgrade keeps a lot (saving points for other masteries).

Now this update has changed my whole gameplay, or even WvW, or even the world.

Well at least we can’t complain that there were no WvW updates. Right?

Oh its no complaint at all, in fact i love to see they fix something. However there are bugs that could use same priority as this.

Did any of you ever noticed this “bug”? I just read this in patch notes but never ever realised it was not working as intended lol
