Agree with IamDuddits and Dog. People are so used to not thinking during the spider queen/howler/rumblus that they cannt adjust to change. These new paths are a representation of what every GW2 dungeon should be like, and I hope the devs do not give in to the massive uproar.
You mean a broken mess?
FPS drops up the wazoo and bugged end bosses barring completion.
Ya boi!
Do you even lift, bro?
Hello? Devs? The gist of what I was trying to say was that it is still broken…
Do you even lift, bro?
Let’s not get into that ugly debate about whether or not dark-skinned Norns are lore-breaking… :/
Lore-breaking, sure. But you can make one helluva cool Mr. T look-alike! If only our jewelry accessories showed up on your character…
Do you even lift, bro?
The problem isn’t only the cooldown on the ability.
The forms themselves are useless. The way each ability roots you in place when you use them just destroys any function they might have had.

Here’s my take on the The Claw type of dragon. See, what Icebrood corruption does to you is that it eats you down to the bone, replacing your flesh with corrupted ice.
This is evident in Sons of Svanir; their arms get covered and seeimgly replaced by corrupted ice. Eventually they’ll end up as Icebrood Colossi; if you look at their model you can see a norn skeleton (most visible is the spinal cord) as well as a skull in their big “head”.
I’ve no doubt that’s what happened to the dragon as it became a Claw of Jormag.

At this point, rather than the leadership allying with the Flame Legion, I think the dredge have officially schismed in two – those in favor of the molitariate (aka corrupt government), and those not.
There’s practically a full fledged rebellion going on in Frostgorge, as you say.
So yeah.
Definitely.

Why do they act like warriors were the only people running around with the food buff ? EVERYBODY was running around with it,especially thiefs.
Because of our high up-time on Fury, High base HP, Channeled melee attacks, and high melee desired play-style I think the food benefited us more then any other class.
Actually, it was our cleave ability mostly.
More targets hit, more chances to crit, more chances to heal.
It did less for Thieves because they are single-target in melee.

Manipulation, just wait.
Uh, no. You’d need a lot of gold to buy up all the good looking named exotics.
There are people out there who can afford to trade in Legendaries. Remember, just to put one up on the Trading Post, these people have to pay several hundred gold just in listing fees.
Buying up the stock of some Exotic is no problem.

Unfortunately, Inquest probably use Abyss (in combo with some dark red) which is currently the most expensive dye in the game.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah, but transformed into such an iconic and recognizable dragon shape?

Greatsword with Hundred Blades spam is higher, but Axe auto-attack is far more reliable.
Raw damage that is.
Then you have to take into account stuff like Might stacking with Forceful Greatsword and Vulnerability stacking with Axe/Mace.

Aha! I knew I was missing something.
Do you even lift, bro?
It was nerfed, there is no doubt about it.
It is a consumable Sigil of Blood.
Also known as useless.
I don’t find it entirely useless… since I have about 70 to still use up T___T
What do you use in its place now? haha
Omnomberry… Bars! Or just Truffle Steaks for pure Power/Precision. Whatever.
Do you even lift, bro?
Total stats of two Berserker’s Swords
180 Power
128 Precison
10% Critical Hit Damage
2 Sigil slots
Total stats of one Berserker’s Greatsword
179 Power
128 Precision
9% Critical Hit Damage
1 Sigil slot
On paper this looks quite unfair. 1 Power isn’t much, but 1% Critical Hit Damage and a second Sigil slot does seem like a big deal.
On paper.
Am I missing something?

Or, you know, the Guardian.
Just the Guardian.

Knight armour/weapons.
Berserker accessories.
I’m seriously considering ditching my Knight stuff; what’s the point of Toughness in PvE for Warrior? Better be a Berserker and not draw aggro…
Do you even lift, bro?
I wouldn’t put it above a Charr to snack on a Skritt, if the opportunity arises.
Especially Flame Legion. Toasty!
Do you even lift, bro?
well the dragons are on par with the gods
How sure are we about that? The Elder Dragons are still physical beings, not divine in nature. Plus we sorta took Zhaitan down with a pretty fireworks show…
Do you even lift, bro?
I bought Call of The Wild which I believe corresponds to Berserker.

I hate to be the BEARer of bad news but it seems that despite many hours of painful (and expensive) psychotherapy, he still has yet to overcome the trauma of his sons’ corruption by Ginva.
It is… unBEARable to watch.

I don’t think the Claw of Jormag is technically an Elder Dragon as well, but rather a lesser dragon corrupted by Jormag?
No, it’s not an Elder Dragon – it’s a dragon champion like the Shatterers (made of rock and lightning) or Tequatl and co. (made out of corpses of various things, presumably). The Claws of Jormag (yes, there’s more than one) seem to be a construct of bones and ice – much like the Dragonspawn was. For starters, the Claws’ wings are definitely pure ice, however their legs look like frozen bone.
That does actually speak for them being corrupted “normal” Dragons, doesn’t it? They resemble the lesser corrupted minions of their “patron”.

Pies didn’t make Hundred Blades the best heal in the game.
It just allowed you to survive the random mob cleave and complete the attack, lol!
‘Best heal in the game’ doesn’t have to mean ‘makes you unkillable’.
Name a heal that could get you as much HP as Omnomberry pies could WHILE doing as much damage as Hundred Blades….
Go ahead, I can wait.
Name any Healing ability that does damage…?
O_o
Anyway, you’re missing the point here: Omnom Pies didn’t allow you to heal like a healing ability. What they did was allowing you to endure random cleave damage from surrounding mobs as Hundred Blades rooted you to the ground for several seconds.

Just throwing it out there:
Equipping a Shield increases any aggro generation as well.

Hammer Smash. Or as you might otherwise know it, the third final overhead smash on Warrior’s auto-attack.
How about making it so that this final swing has 20% chance to be a Blast Finisher? It sure would spruce up the Hammer and somewhat even the gap between Warrior weapons. Plus, it’d be hella cool.

Healing Signet is a joke
Would you believe me if I said they actually nerfed it this patch?
Ehl-oh-ehl

Ironically, I am not speaking of glass cannon. I am speaking of a Toughness build, which at the moment is stupid because you can’t handle the extra aggro as a Warrior.
Do you even lift, bro?
People had their legendary made in a few weeks of release. It doesn’t need to be any easier.
/facedesk
You realize they only did that because Precursors were like 10g or something like that at launch?
Do you even lift, bro?
Craftable Exotic ones would solve everything. You’d get the wide varity of stat selection available to crafted Exotic armour and you’d make the armour crafting disciplines a lot more useful (due to the fact there are no unique armour skins, they are currently inferior to weapon crafting disciplines).

It’s rather poor form to blame the norn on attacking the dredge, when we can’t say which attacked first, and both races have groups which pre-emptively assault the other. And there’s only a few of such norn, but all dredge (except rebels not seen in Wayfarer) are of this sort..
I don’t think the Dredge (or Norn for that matter!) really care about who started it in this case, so its still all good (or bad!).
Do you even lift, bro?
Really, I like copy/paste solutions as little as the next guy, but Dolyak Signet really needs to be put on par with the Guardian version. After all, the ability description is identical yet it is vastly inferior.
“Reduces incoming damage”.
Only the Guardian version does it a hundred times more effectively. You could still keep the active aspects of the Signets different for diversity.

I love knights armor, and totally reccommend it.
I like how knights armor and ogre runes go pretty well together, because you have the power there, and the toughness to help you live. I honestly could care less about the crit % I lose out on with zerker. I’m really just now replaceing some of my kngihts with zerker, but i’m not going full zerker. I honestly should just stay full knights, I like the toughness way too much to give it up.
Toughness is a double-edged sword. It makes you tougher, yes, but it also makes you an aggro-magnet. That’s how Berserker Warriors actually work; they have no Toughness to draw aggro.
Have to go to school, but wait, can you explain?
Having higher toughness CAUSES aggro?
Oh my, yes. Stacking Toughness is one of the easier ways to make yourself an aggro-magnet. Armour too, which is why Warriors/Guardians draw ever so slightly more aggro than the other Professions by default.
Do you even lift, bro?
It is not that I don’t agree with the food nerf; it is that Warriors got no compensation in the sustain department at all! Omnon Pies/Ghosts was a necessary crutch for Warriors due to our horrible sustain.

Except that they didn’t, Oglaf. The dredge’s “native home” is further south than where the norn are, and on top of that, underground.
The dredge have been expanding their “native home” through force ever since they were freed from slavery. And they’re naturally xenophobic – the fighting between the two races grew because norn love challenges and the dredge, being hostile xenophobic expansionists that they became, provided that challenge.
Okay, maybe “native home” was a poor choice of words on my part. Doesn’t change anything: there were Dredge living in the areas surrounding Hoelbrak and the Norns arrived and gave them the boot. A lot of Hearts in the lowbie Norn areas revolve around kicking Dredge around still. There’s definitely a reason for the Dredge to team up with the Fire Legion to retake Wayfarer’s Foothills.

On fractal yesterday (after patch) Mossman won’t let go of me and I had neither the most or lesser toughness of the group (also didn’t hit it first). As an Engineer I wasn’t dealing the most damage.
Some mobs, bosses in particular, have their own unique aggro rules that deviate from the norm.
Do you even lift, bro?
Interesting turn of events. Kholer used to get his butt handed to him by mr. Cave Troll, but after the patch I’ve only seen Kholer winning. I guess his infinite adds give him the advantage?

I haven’t ran across a story mode that I would say was easier than explore mode. I have gone back and done story mode a few times for AC, CM, and HOTW. I would say that story mode is just as difficult but more time consuming than an explore path.
I find hotw story mode harder than the explorable atm, just saying.
HotW story end boss blows all the Exploration bosses out of the water in terms of difficulty. His bird call ability one-shots most professions, and on top of that he has a Champion pet with him!
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah, lets not fool ourselves. Thieves have way higher DPS and burst, but they do not have cleave, which is their Achilles Heel in dungeons. To call Warrior the “highest DPS class” is absurd.
Do you even lift, bro?
Long story short: When the Norn got bullied away from their native home by Jormag, they in turn bullied the Dredge around Hoelbrak away from their native home.
Do you even lift, bro?
Ohoni nailed it.
Story is an unrewarding chore you do once to unlock Exploration and then to be ignored forever more. It is also not easier than Exploration.

All new stuff in dungeons is going to be hard for the first few days. We see it all the time with new content – people fail and get knocked down when they aren’t used to that sort of thing, and they claim it is too difficult.
Give it a week or so for everyone to develop strategies, learn encounters, and build fundamentals, and they will claim it is too easy. Trust me when I say this, the numbers are punishing (but less than they were before), but knowing the mechanics will greatly mitigate the danger.
It sure would help if the new bosses weren’t prone to bugging out (Ghost Eater) and every single event dropping your FPS to a snail’s pace….
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah, you’re victim of market manipulation. Or if you’re one of those who do not believe it exist, the victim of a witch doctor. Or some other supernatural being cursing you.

I’m pretty sure a glass cannon Thief will out-dps a glass cannon Warrior any day of the week.
