in my experience MF on armor does nothing
the greatest benefit comes from the guild perk and possibly food as well.
im fairly sure armor and weps do nothing noticeable to contribute
im not ashamed of my play hours i love this game
thats my 3rd lvl 80 and im still craft ignorant, i just love the combat and live off the land.

plan b:
let the risen destroy the arrow turrets, thin out the numbers so its not so intense later on. i left 3 alive and when they were about halfway throu the 2nd turret i kites past and ressed the hero of gw2 and his buddies, inc one proiry dude. they res each other now, thats a good idea imo, halts peeps farming res xp.
during the initial thin out process and at this stage i did lure some enemy inside the gate with los, idk if that mattered or not but i did it.
as soon as the risen destroyed the last turret i killed them and it progressed fine.
one thing on interest later on was the risen were of split |oPC=faction| groups 0_o
not sure if this is intended but devs might want to look into it.
the last part they were of 2 neutral groups, white and yellow.
i could have had some fun with that set up but, im not that kinda guy ^^
so imo make the turrets fragile and set a few of the 2nd pop/1st wave locked onto them to ensure the turrets fall.

remove the cost and race restriction for cultural armor, open it up to max faction, make each area faction for kill and im sure a lot of people would rather grind other areas than run in circles in orr for days on end,
i am at the ;defend the front gates’ part and as above nothing is spawning after the initial wave post the logger camp.
im very tenacious and have all day, il post back if i can figure a workaround
the solution is a faction grind

well as i just said in another thread just like this one:
i did it at launch and im doing it again now and i can say its a LOT easier now than then.
a lot of the bugs have been fixed and the enemy have been thinned out a lot.
ill say again, theyre doing good work toward the issues that were halting progress.
i do however exceed the level for the story and try to clock 100% in each zone to coincide with the story before i start it in that zone,
also you cannot underestimate the benefit of toughness.

well i ripped throu the story right at launch on a warrior and have gone throu it again recently, i can assure you they have made some huge changes and greatly improved them.
perhaps more to come but theyre doing good work.
i think a good band-aid would be to give us all a signet that covers all stats
a bit like the hero’s band.
and when used will resurrect an ally (sac buff for res til cd, sounds fair)
someone make this happen and im sure it will do for now.

i think some half decent reward gear for finishing the story would distract from the travesty that was the end of the game but alas thats not happening… unless you need mediocre greens for another class

myself, i have typed in the names of each and every one of these kitten into my ignore list and i can tell you theres quite a few online every day still.
i get that some are hacked accounts but i dont know them and its no great loss to me if i cannot see words from someone who cannot protect their own account
the end missions were ok to solo, fior me anyway, but what does my head in now, on an alt, getting dropped into a level “15-25” zone and facing lvl20+ mobs at level 15-16.
i had to bail off to another races starter area, got 100% there, effectively making that zone a snoozefest repeat mode if i want to start that race later, and it still isnt enough to handle the zone im ‘expected’ to be in.
i have over 1500 points on my acc, i know how to stay alive and kill but that level disparity is a bit ridiculous
cant say ive noticed too much music at all myself, aside from the log in screen i rarely hear anything. i see n the patch notes its been attended, perhaps i shall hear more
seems to me the op liked coe cause the armor is pew pew and they got used to it after multiple runs exploiting or otherwise i do not care how now hes packin a sad cause hes going to look just like everyone else
the presumption of everyone either playing a blizzard game or GW2 is hilarious.
truth is rift is the biggest threat to this game, (poor cs and constant blocking issues aside), when storm legion hits its will decimate game communities everywhere
im a cronic game addict, i play all day every day
i have given gw2 a good go and played the game through and throu trying several classes as far as i found them fun but between the countless bugs and blocking issues its hard to stay interested enough to see another character to the end in the games current state.
i really hoped this game would come throu but its lacking on too many levels.
perhaps in the future once they have addressed the most important issues they seem to be currently ignoring it may be worth the time.
since were not getting any feedback from devs about the dozens of permanently broken and missing skill point npc/objectives, how about a daily restart.
at least then they will be up for one round,
its been almost a week and there are multiple zones that are impossible to complete because of this.
its more than this, theres are dungeons, AC on SoS in particular, 50/50 shot at getting in, no rhyme or reason why it only lets some people in and never others.
theres only 2 reasons someone would want a mount in this game
1: vanity ~ w/e floats your goat
2: an attempt to outrun mobs and speed throu content ~ would totally backfire, you would go broke, miss a lot of content and 9/10 be dismounted and get your rearend handed to you because youre unprepared for anything other than traveling as fast as possible.
its not rude nor obnoxious to ask them to fix a bug that blocks personal story quest when they’ve spent so long on the TP and a mac client.
you would think they would fix the actual client to a 100% playable state before they bother with fluff and alternative ways to experience an unfinished game, but no, they think differently to me.
i too am infuriated with the constant progress blocking bugs,
im trying really hard to stay interested in this game but its not fun when you cannot do what you need to.
