I’ve gone through tens of thousands of bloodstone and dragonite since they launched. I convert what I can to bricks, which although helps with a little of bit of crafting post 450-470…I’d love to be able to just vendor the stuff at least. Even 50c a dust would make it worth my while!!!

I believe it depends where the armour came from. I think Karma bought gear can’t be salvaged. Happily stand corrected though.

Some it’s karma, other it’s dungeon pieces, but both are not salvageable. I feel outraged, can i send ticket about it?

As it stands only the gem store item which removes runes from armour and weapons is your option.

This has been discussed at length in the main wardrobe thread. Not sure why a new thread was needed, but if you are concerned, I’d post there since that is the feedback thread that matter.

For the record, whilst I understand the frustration, I personally still prefer the wardrobe as it is than what we had before.

I converted cores for mine. Had to scrounge some up from guildies mind and it isn’t cost free, but helped a lot.

There is no cast iron farming method for lodestones. It is easier to farm gold to buy them sadly.

They give out free stuff in the gem store regularly and have done for ages

1) I play warrior. It’s fun…but also easy mode in some ways. You may enjoy necro more for the variety. Yes warriors are very common for this very reason.

2) Not to the same extent. This is an entirely different type of game. Leave any expectation of similarities to GW1 to one side. I’m not saying it is a bad thing, but it does come as a shock to some.

3) Population is massive in game. That is ofc anecdotal. There is a lull between content atm so population is fluctuating. The new megaserver should mean more people gathered in otherwise low pop zones, but dont be dishearetned if you dont see ppl – they are likely in world vs world or pvp or doing any number of things. It’s a big old world!

None whatsoever. Afaik, most of the lack of silence is due to the prep work for China release. That’s just a guess, but such a lacking of news indicates they are working overtime to get ready for such a major launch whilst working on the next season as well.

Enjoy the break, we’ll have plenty to do over the summer I would think!!

No, I felt that adding +1 was far more counter productive. The best thing for these forums is continuing in constructive debate until that well runs dry. Whether that’s positive, negative or whatever. Anything else wont help facilitate that.

All I will say (since this thread will be closed soon I suspect). Just think how these forums would look if every one bumped their threads with +1

They have said on numerous occasions it isn’t the biggest threads they listen to – it is the ones with mature, constructive debate. The thread in question had it, but had run out of steam. That doesn’t mean it was being ignored. The devs take what they need for their internal discussions – keeping it bumped serves no additional purpose for them.

As for the single thread merges, it’s for the health of the forums this occurs, but also for ease of the devs to tracks. So much easier to track feedback in one place, rather than the same amount of feedback in various places on the subforum.

There was a dev post in the pvp forum (I think). It has been put forward by some devs, but atm the answer is there are no plans to hide boots. The gloves became hideable I think I read as it was easier to hide a bug which was causing problems.

Agreed. Far Shiverpeaks ecited me more than Cantha when I played the original game. Factions did nothing for me at all

In terms of Cantha, the petrified forest has begun to turn back and the jade sea has “melted” or whatever process to return to liquid.

In terms of Elona, Palawa Joko blocked the river and flooded quite a bit of it I believe.

It’s not a new resource, it is the same resource pve players have been using since launch, just in a new format. All that has changed really is that now pvpers also have to use the transmutation system, which is probably the cause of frustration for you, but for most pvers, its a more streamlined system.

It is likely they didn’t want to separate the two types of player out and keep it balanced.

There is a thread listing the zones on the megaserver now. It is quite a lot of zones and they said they would switch new ones on when they thought it was time, rather than on an advertised schedule.

I cant find said thread, but go thro the dev tracker and u should be able to re locate it

I have an ele build which uses apothecary, although not a complete set. It wont be considered an optimal build and uses scepter/dagger, but im happy with it and it fits with how I play a mage class.

Been that way since launch. Possibly the next living story will take us there, but we as the community have no idea yet.

Love seven of the eight professions that I play. I fully acknowledge that the reason that I don’t care for #8 is a failure of my play style, and not the profession itself (thief, in case you were wondering).

I am in agreement on that class. I played a thief until around level 25 a while back, and just never got into it much…..had everything to do with my playstyle and not the class.

It still can cost in game gold, you just buy gems with it.

It’s expensive ofc, but still an option so you don’t have to spend real money.

Cultural armour will have tags like “asura only” added to it, so it wont show for a Norn in the wardrobe for eg

So what I understand about your post is that you are certain there will be a world 3 SAB, but you just don’t know when?

Certain? No. But, based on dev replies I read during W2 release, further installments were implied. Only a dev could confirm and I doubt they will either way, but I would be confident of a return if I were to gamble on it and the long delay between releases being put down to raising hype, a low priority release and what McKeone said

The devs have stated that all feedback on megaservers must be in the main megaserver thread. That is the one they are reading and collating from, rather thsn trying to read many little threads.

Curious, I wouldn’t have figured that zone to be one of the low population ones. Guess it must then.

At this time no. It was the trade off for the wardrobe – they simply could not work round it (there’s a lengthy dev post on these forums somwehere about it).

As for the future? There is every chance they might find some workaround on it, but it is unlikely if they couldn’t do it since it was started 9 months ago, that it would be something coming in the near future

They often do technical updates and performance updates in the patches. SOmetimes they are noticeable, sometimes not, but they are rarely announced. Its all part of ongoing work behind the scenes.

It indirectly got me a new set of decent looking boots, something which had been bugging me for about a year…..

No it is not asking for that at all. It says clearly 0 charges.

I’ve just tried it, I am getting no prompts for charges on equipping gear. Only when transmuting and using dye (the latter is is 0 cost anyway)
