I’ve never had problems selling anything on the TP that was sitting in my Invisible Bags.

Was it the Invisible Pouch/Satchel? The leather one.

I’ve noticed there are a few lists on the drop down menu when searching the TP (Gathering Tools for example) and I’d like to request those useless list that never have anything in them (items likely soulbound/account bound) be replaced with:

Light Armor
Medium Armor
Heavy Armor

It is annoying when looking for armor and having to scroll through pages of armor types you can’t use because it is all lumped into the Armor list.

I honestly don’t think anyone is buying the dyes off the gem store. I buy the unidentified dyes for cheap when I feel like I have enough silver to spare. Duplicates get stowed and used on other characters.

After the severe Mesmer nerf, I want to blow out my mesmer but I won’t since she had picked up a couple rare dyes when I still played her.

They should have left the dye system account bound as it was promised.

Different skins for the professions like GW1 would be nice.

Necros seem to be into BDSM.
Mesmers are more Goth.
Eles are a bit frilly.

I would also be curious to know what evidence you see of market manipulation.

There are threads on this very forum telling players how to do it.

Flipping is causing the most harm and players are teaching each other how to do it right here in this very sub-forum.

As to “How to stop them” ideas, I have none other than increasing drop rates. Especially on materials during collection/salvaging.

I’m not an economist, I’m just a computer administrator/repair tech.

I’m all for the clones doing 50% of the player’s damage.

It will at least make them useful in PvE.

I know some of us have requested that our Mesmers’ illusions be allowed to do damage in PvE since the AI knows which one is the actual player.

Now I don’t know if this is a bug or not but while I was mapping in Orr I ran across the Veteran Acolyte of Lyssa using illusions that can do damage.

Is this intentional or is this a bug since the player illusions can not do damage?

If you want to sell for a set price then sell to a vendor.

The TP is where players decide what something is worth.

Please note, I specified only the items that can be bought at a vendor should receive an upper limit. Preferably between the vendor value and what the purchase price is.

That would be to prevent players from buying items from the vendor and then selling them for more on the TP.

Example (using current TP price listings):
Minor Rune of Holding = Bought at the Vendor for 4s 96c with a value of 62c.
Listed on the TP at 6s 20c

Rune of Holding = Bought at the Vendor for 14s 80c with a value of 1s 85c.
Listed on the TP at 16s 95c

Major Rune of Holding = Bought at the Vendor for 50s with a value of 6s 25c.
Listed on the TP for 60s 97c

Greater Rune of Holding = Bought at the Vendor for 2g with a value of 25s.
Listed on the TP for 2g 77s 74c

Superior Rune of Holding = Bought at the Vendor for 10g with a value of 1g 25s.
Listed on the TP for 13g 89s 90c

Well, this isn’t just a DC issue either. I was just getting to the chest after rallying from going down to a last minute bleeding and the whole party left and since I was the last one in the party and not the party leader I got booted from the dungeon with nothing.

I just stopped playing dungeons due to that and other issues I feel they should fix with them.

I’ve run the lower level dungeons a few times since the last dungeon update and found out from other players what some of the changes were (ie. added hostiles, added skills to existing hostiles) and I noted some various things on my own.

I ran story mode on AC and CM with both my level 80 with rare gear and my level 45 with masterwork gear. Both times I noted it was harder to go through with the level 45 as it should be. I also noted that even with a well balanced party they are insane even for my level 80.

I know that after level scaling the only edge you could have is your gear, skills, and traits. I know I remember players complaining that the dungeons were too easy for level 80s to go through and when I tried AC and CM with my level 45 back when she was 30(AC) and 40(CM), she could not even make it through to the end without having repaired her gear enough to make any rewards for completing the dungeons moot.

After careful thought on this and I know every level 80 with exotic or better gear will complain, Why are the dungeons not setup for characters that meet the minimum level with basic gear? AC story mode should be setup for a party of 5 level 30s with basic (white) gear being able to finish the dungeon with the reward exceeding the cost of repairs. Same for explorable modes which IIRC are set to be 5 levels higher than the story mode.

If level 80 characters want to do the lower dungeons, then there could just be a level 80 version of the dungeon that a group of 5 level 80s could be dumped in. This way everyone farming with level 80s equipped with exotic gear don’t ruin the dungeons for the lower level players.

I would agree on having all the “under vendor value” orders purged since when you go to list them you see the “current” going rate on the TP is listed as 1c, a LOT.

Having the sales fee listed along with the listing fee would be nice.

Maybe having a limit on how many active orders/listings a player can have at one time could do some good to keep the market from becoming a “secondary storage” like I’ve seen happen in other MMOs. If anything, maybe a time limit on how long a listed item can remain listed.

I had to remake my Sylvari warrior (only at level 8 ) when I saw that she would end up with “clown shoes” for foot armor from the HoM set and that the shoulder armor was disproportionally huge on her thinking that I made her too tall. She was also having issues with “sinking” into the ground up to her ankles.

I made her shorter and it kinda fixed the “sinking,” but the armor scaling is still a problem and it is different depending on the armor. Some armor has “clown shoes,” some has dresses for leggings instead of a skirt, some have HUGE shoulders.

Hopefully they can fix this.
