Going based on your OP, I’m betting that you are leaving out that you are either:

Being verbally abusive to people that aren’t way pointing the moment they die because you don’t want to rez them.

OR

You’re being verbally abusive to other people because they aren’t doing things your way.

If you are getting reported, check yourself because I have no idea how you find out that you’ve been reported unless CS is contacting you or they are saying it in the chat that they are reporting you.

If CS is contacting you, that might mean they found substance to the report. In this case, you REALLY need to check yourself.

I tried searching for this and found nothing.

Could the camera please be centered on our character models whether standing, sitting, sleeping, kneeling, etc? I’m trying to take screenshots of my characters sitting down and the centering of the camera when trying to be level with the character model is AWFUL.

I can’t even zoom in for better detail screenshots.

Taking into account issues with groups and dungeons right now, 10-20 player groups would leave a lot of space open for Raid sellers that are fast enough to kick the other members. Plus these raids should NEVER be exclusive what so ever.

While a 10 player raid/dungeon would be neat to see, there are other aspects such as the kick feature and disconnection issues that need to be fine tuned first.

I’m all for new content and I’d be willing to try these out, but until certain things are fixed there will be problems.

I’d keep them AP exclusive, but I’m also of the same mind that they need to lower the overall AP required to have the ability to have the full sets.

It has taken 2 years for the hardcore to get to around 25k. Add in that ANet has been hit hard by the community when they made some very poor decisions that got them in the “headlines” that garnered poor publicity within those 2 years. It is time for ANet to have a realistic view on some things here. Some might get the full sets by this time next year, but if ANet keeps making poor decisions that gets them bad publicity, many will never get these sets because GW2 will have shut down.

I would blame all those that screamed that there was too much female skin being exposed.

The ONLY change the Gem converter needed was to let us input how many gems we wanted and tell us how much gold we needed instead of us putting in how much gold to figure out how many gems we could get.

I SERIOUSLY think their “metrics” they are basing all these changes off of are fan boys of other MMOs that want to see Arena Net fail or outright employees of Arena Net’s competitors trying to bring Arena Net down.

You know, I figured it out…

Standard military uniforms have the last name and rank on it.

Sayeh has a “Hello. My Name Is: Sayeh” sticker on her armor.

Since they were originally soulbound, most players deleted them if they deleted the character that it was bound to.

Backpack straps came around much later and if you deleted the character that it was bound to before that character could transmute it to the straps and make it account bound, the only option WAS to delete it since no other character could take it out of the bank making it impossible to transmute it.

The only other options were:
1. Be a pack rat and never delete anything and spend gems on storage
or
2. Have inside knowledge 2 years before the wardrobe was implemented and saved it just for the wardrobe.

Yes, mine are gone too.

It would be great to bring everything from before the wardrobe back at least once since the wardrobe so that we can put them in it.

Then the exclusive elitists can have their exclusive toys and validate themselves as better than everyone else.

Annndddd how many gems would you pay for this?

1. Hopefully they saw what happened with the open world parts and how much of a monumentally bad idea that was and are fixing what they had to stay instanced based.

How do our characters know Sayeh and are on a first name basis after we destroy the eye and cleanse Orr just to be introduced to her first thing in the next Personal Story chapter.

I could have sworn I saw somewhere that this FUBAR was fixed. I sat back on three of my characters waiting for this to be fixed because my OCD screams bloody murder at the inconsistency.

6 charges are guaranteed because of the cities.
Then you have potentially 23 more just from mapping all the zones since you likely have a 95-99% of getting a charge instead of a BLK.

This is per character.

That is not counting doing PvP reward tracks.

I’m sure a lot of us GW1 vets would love to go to Cantha and Elona.

I don’t want to get there via Living Story because at this rate I feel like I’m still being spoon fed because they don’t think I’m ready to play the game.

They should just open up the rest of Tyria for us to explore while they work on a REAL expansion and open either Cantha or Elona. There should be enough land mass to keep us occupied for a few months for them to do this.

And yes, give the dragons a rest. Dragons are an overused and over abused Deus Ex Machina in the majority of fantasy games.

I’ve noticed enough hints through out the Personal Story and the Living Story that points the finger at the true Deus Ex Machina for Guild Wars, Abbadon. Let’s rip him a new one again in Elona.

He CAN NOT use ANY Magic Find buffs except for what is given to PvE from the WvW standings.

He did not use a Control and therefore is findings are a moot point. We don’t even know his total Magic Find on his account combined with the buff to PvE from WvW combined with any trinkets he had that might have increased his Magic Find combined with the Magic Find buffs from food and/or utility potions.

We don’t even know if he didn’t clean out his bags to match what the loot would look like for both the Engineer or the Warrior just to get everyone here riled up over it.

I could do it for you all and have my bags look skewed and none of you would know the difference. And I wouldn’t even have to use photoshop. Just clean the bags, make them look the way I want them to look to get a rise out of everyone, then log out to clear the on screen chat and log back in and sit for about 5-10 min to get a chat log.

I myself see some difference and I can now restock all my materials without paying the bloated prices on the Trade Post. I’m sorry you all are losing your cash cow. Adapt or rage quit already.

There are Magic Find Infusions that can be put on Ascended Gear.

Suddenly there is Magic Find Gear.

You might want to do more research before you try calling someone out yourself.

You all want to be able to get the best loot while playing the Zerker Meta?

I’m enjoying finally getting more than just leather drops for ALL my characters. I play my scholars when I need various cloth scraps and I play my warrior or guardian when I need more metals.

It encourages players to play more classes. But then again I don’t play the Zerker Meta nor do I play the Trade Post.

So far it seems to be working as intended.

Why was this left in the coding for the dailies?

You locked the Personal Story up into 8 chapters that opens a chapter every 10 levels.
Imagine finishing a chapter in your Personal Story and then 30 min later the dailies reset.

Someone didn’t think that one through.

I’ve been seeing a better balance in my loot on non-medium professions when it comes to armor loot.

That is a very welcomed change.

Aside from being told that they removed loot from the PS to stop linen farming, it looks like they are trying to divide the community.

I can just see it in about 6 months. Players charging to help others with their PS just so they earn something for their time. It is bad enough that players sell the final dungeon and ANet won’t do anything about it. It is like they are encouraging it.

I’ve still got my Ventari and Golem frames from the first Winter’s Day.

I would like very much to finish them.

Our first dungeon is a level 30 dungeon.

If we try to play that dungeon at level 30, we are missing 2 skills since skill 9 unlocks at 35 and 0 unlocks at 40.

We vets also have to wait until level 40 before we bring a new character into WvW so we have all our skill slots open where previously we hit WvW at level 30.

Take away the misconceptions due to poor wording about some of the “locked” content that isn’t locked and you may find that gating the skills is likely the biggest complaint from many vets.

I’d get my weapon skills unlocked on my chosen weapons before level 3 and that counts getting the my secondary set unlocked before I was able to weapon swap. I’ve got level 80 alts that don’t have all their weapons skills open because I don’t use all their different weapons.

My suggestion would be to put the old level requirements for the utility and elite slots back and “maybe” do the weapon skills as level 2 for 2, level 3 for 3, level 4 for 4, and level 5 for 5. That means you get weapon skill 5 and your first utility skill at level 5.

The response to the support ticket on this was that the Minions are being culled as the player population on the map rises.

I’ve even heard that Mesmers are having the same issue with clones randomly shattering.

Don’t forget, you can not speed level with crafting and EotM anymore.

You’ve gotta stick to map completion in PvE to level up. When you finish your level 20 story, let us know what you got. I got a Tier 1 Cultural chest armor (Masterwork) for my Norn after finishing the level 20 PS.

It does not bother me so much, personally I do not walk around with my commander tag on unless it is required.

But I must say it has proven useful with my alts, when I notice a champ and I am on my own I just flick on my commander tag and mention a champ is at my location, within minutes I am opening a nice loot bag.

Same here. I’ve found that feature real handy. I just turn it right off after the champ is dead.

At the end of the level 20 PS for the Norn I got a Masterwork version of the Tier 1 Cultural Chest Armor.

From the devs that no longer work for ANet, they saw this coming and bailed when the higher ups refused to listen to even them when they said this was wrong. They knew this was coming months ago.

Under the old system, that is all I got on ANY of my characters.

I’ve got leather out the ears because that is all I got. And I’m STILL getting nothing but leather armor with my light armor wearing professions.

Anyone else notice that we no longer get skill points when we level up?

My wife went from level 70 to 71 and didn’t get her skill point for leveling up.

Also, the Personal Story mobs are now lootless just like the Living Story. There is now no incentive to help friends to do their Personal Story unless you are both doing the same story since they do not get ANY reward unless it was also their story.

I’m going to buy a safety helmet to wear while I level up this last character to at least level 40 since I don’t see one in the Cash Shop to make my character wear.

Yeah, we all might as well stop calling it the Gem Store and just call it the Cash Shop.

Since key farming is dead, I decided to run through this with a new character.

You all covered most of it but here are my notes of what I spotted.

The personal story is now like the LS 2 where the mobs in the story do not drop loot.

Skill points are locked out until level 13

Even after level 13 (character is at 16 now) you do not get skill points from leveling. That level 20 scroll used to net you 16 skill points and it doesn’t now. Tomes of Knowledge are the same too. No skill points for leveling up.

I saw that Underwater skill 4 opens up at level 17.

This is a steaming pile of BS.

The upper most backpack is level 78 not 80. You need a level 78 or lower upgrade.

Either old and ratty or new and shiny. How about we get some Orrian armor skins.

Some of the Champ Priests and Priestess have cool armor that would be nice to collect especially if we can get BOTH an old and new versions.

My thoughts are put simply with these images.

I don’t see player to player trading happening since it allows ANet to say “We told you so and you should have used the Trade Post” when players get scammed. That and the Trade Post Tax sink.

My hopes are:
Salvaging of WvW/Karma gear.
Light/Medium/Heavy Armor sorting filters.
Removal of Transmutation Charges so we can change our looks whenever we want.
Old PvP only armor skins being added in to PvE loot tables.

I have 11 level 80s…

That translates to 869 levels (11 characters * 79 levels) worth of rewards that ANet says the FNGs can have if they buy the game after September 9, 2014 and make 11 characters.

There are players with vastly more characters and I believe we have a few that have 64 level 80s.

For those with all 64 character slots filled with level 80s, that is 5,056 levels (64 characters * 79 levels) worth of rewards that ANet just tells them “Thanks for your money. K thx buy!” (Yes, I spelled it “buy”)

They would have to either delete some characters to experience the new rewards or buy a new account.

And you wonder WHY we veterans are upset. You’re giving us the shaft like were yesterday’s trash.

The ONLY thing that my wife and I would want if we had to choose only one thing as a reward for being here for 2 years + 3 day head start is to do away with the transmutation charges for everyone and let us freely change our looks from our collected wardrobes whenever we want.

But no, today’s blog post clearly ranks us veterans as trash “cash pinatas” in your eyes.

I think I see where some of you are having issues with the “level 1-79.”

If you had paid attention, leveling characters (1-79) will get special loot that is account bound and slightly better than non-account bound gear of the same level and same rarity. This means there will be gear across the rarity spectrum up to exotic and between levels 1-79 that will be account bound that will be obtained only by characters under level 80.

The profession loot is for all levels and to help characters obtain gear for their profession easier. We will still get loot for other professions, just not as often.

Light class professions get strong armed on the TP for their armor since it gets dropped less. Medium classes get a break on the TP for their armor since it drops the most.

Add in that salvaging light armor is the most reliable way to get cloth and now you can plainly see how the light classes are suffering.

I am all for this idea of profession loot.

It doesn’t matter what weight class I’m playing, I get 80% medium armor (leathers), 15% heavy armor (metals) and 5% light armor (cloth).

And in order to make ALL armors you need cloth which drops the LEAST.

This will be good. Maybe not for the TP flippers when it comes to cloth, but good for everyone else.

While it is nice to be able to craft back pieces, maybe they should allow us to craft re-breathers too.

Commandos can suddenly appear around the char, capture him and then leave in a helicopter. They could even be wearing ANet logos on the chest piece and the helicopter.

They could even have a final part where the char is lying on the ground all tied up. One commando poses with one foot on the char while the others do high fives, before picking him up and running to the helicopter. ^^

I would support this completely.

Last time I talked with a staff member in game, they said it was not reportable. It did come off as the in game staff would like it reportable AND ban-able.

I’ve caught wind that some of the “X gold” listings is code for “X usd” which means these players are making REAL money off the sale of dungeon paths.

Eventually ANet will have to set up the dungeons to have henchmen to fill in the party gaps so people can play the dungeons.
