Animations that are actually different and readable isn’t crazy at all. The changes to those classes get rid of the bull kitten that makes them the best in the game and squanders the builds that are great but harder to use.
so the large claw flying at your head is not obvious enough?
the over emphasized dramatical arm wave is not obvious enough for counterplay?

None the less, personally am just tired of everyone and their dog trying to nerf something or another. Why don’t we try giving out some buffs to things??

the only way you are going to “fix” the Celestial Meta. is by buffing very specific traits and skills on some of the other classes to allow a balance of pressure.

What are these “cheese builds” of which you speak?
for we cannot tell you the various counters of builds unless we know of what type of “cheese” you are referring to. For rather than Asking the Diaries to cease all shipments of Milk to said Cheese factory. It would behoove you to instead seek advice on what tastes good and would compliment said Cheese. So that your Knowledge and Palette is expanded.
“cheese” builds will always exist, They are easy to play and allow for a simple solution for inexperienced players to be able to Participate and feel like they are actually doing something. As you get better you will often find yourself moving away from said “cheese builds” as your purpose may have very well changed.
99 percent of the time you do not have to change your entire build just to counter one thing. Just a utility slot or 2. The other 1 percent… well don’t get in that fight. or… bring a friend.

with plans on at least 5 more.
I don’t Like Clogging Inventory space with Gear. So I level new characters. The New system is actually easier to work with and simplifies a good number of things. The most recent one was a level 20 scroll. and I had it at level 80 before the birthday booster ran out. And I spent exactly 0 min inside Edge of the Mists.
Personally… the “grind” everyone is so angry over? I really do not see it. But then again, that is me.
Celestial does everything about 30 to 40 percent worse that its specialized counterpart.

I actually like the " celestial Meta "
its predictable.
When I get rolled by a Celestial Elementalist. I just simply know that I got outplayed By a better player, and I offer kudos.
Lately I am noticing that I am winning vs them more than I am losing. Am I getting carried by my team? perhaps… Am I landing my own rotations Better? maybe… Am I a dungeon running PvE scrub? most likely. Which is probably Why I can win against Celestial.
Its predictable.

I have an Energy sigil on mine but Battle would be more optimal for DPS.
The reason i suggested Locust was simply because of Signet mastery. as well as the Heal proc from the active on the Signet. so activating that signet is 6 stacks of might. it has a life steal component to it as well but meh damage is damage ?

Did a 49 earlier this evening.

per request they did report in via the in game tool as the Dev team has asked us to do in the Bug thread.
but for the general information here. hard to say if its “fixed” or not.
the only thing stopping you from Running Dungeons Solo is yourself.
to answer way back when your original statement concerning a Dungeon Revamp.
The Original Content Development team that created the Dungeons of Guild wars 2 made 8 Dungeon Systems. being a “story” path. and 3 Explorable Paths. Barring Arah of course that has 4 explorable paths.
A few months into the game they Release Fractals of the mists. as well as 2 Single path Dungeon Instances, Being The Molten Weapon Facility and The Aether blade retreat. The two single paths were temporary Content only to persist for 2 weeks. each and then were removed. Fractals of the Mist Still Exist to this day.
Then… Dungeon Content and Design team was disbanded.
Bottom line.
For now and the foreseeable future There will be no changes to Dungeons. There are not going to be any new additions. There will be no Revamp or overhaul.
So you have a choice.
Learn and Get better. Instead of asking for a drastic Change to the Entire Game and its system. Why don’t you ask how you beat a specific encounter? Dungeons are not going to change any time soon. The only thing that can change and evolve is you and your own ability.

You can go do something Else.

I cannot vouch for the Nomad Stat Set.
But the Sinister you can acquire via the Black Lion. provided yes that you have a armor crafting discipline at at least 400.
You can purchase all of the sinister recipes on the Black Lion as well as the Sheets of Charged amberite.
you just need to have the crafter at 400 to assemble it all.

General Rule of thumb would be to have a weapon with sigil of force. Then have another Slot/Weapon with a specific use. Being Either a Slaying Sigil. or Night SIgil.
Just look at All of the Content you are doing and then Determine what would be the most effective for your routine and your budget.

so….
Short Answer from at least me:
I have 5 Necromancers. 3 are currently power based and 2 are Condi based.
PvE: Berserker and Sinister
Dungeons/Fractals: Berserker and Sinister. (I do not bring my necromancers to group dungeons. unless it is a stupidly casual we dont care kind of for fun run., usually leveling friends Alts. So my Dungeon Necromancer adventures are Solo Expeditions)
WvW roaming: Berserker, Sinister, Dire, PvT
WvW Zerg: Beserker and PvT
PvP: Barbarian, (I tend not to run Condi in PvP just not really my <current> playstyle. )
I think all of the defensive stats are working intentionally, except maybe healing power which could use some buffs.
The problem is the other offensive stats, condition damage. The condi cap totally makes condi dmg useless in many parts of the game, and as a result some weapons and builds are never touched by other ppl. I knw there’s a technical limitation to this, but at least scale the maximum condi cap just like what you do to defiance stack

the only place that this even matters is High End PvE group content. which only a Small portion of the player base actually Plays in.
Every Single Gear stat set is perfectly Viable. and functions exactly how it is supposed to. Changing the Game in many of the suggested ways will only destroy what is already a wonderful system.
the Content is not easy.
It is Old.
If you want to change the “Meta”. If you want to make other gear stats “more viable”. You need to convince the Developers to make NEW content, and MORE of it.

How does me having one of my Many Necromancers In Zojja And Scholar affect your game in ANY way? at all?

I feel kinda sad….
I have 14 geared and leveled characters. Each with their own purpose. I recently Managed to PuG my way to Level 50 fractals. Even just today I was lucky enough to get invited on a tour with some of the Forum people here. and I had a blast. I PuG myself out in WvW. mixing up my small group and roaming, and with bigger groups. Been working PvP as of late as well pushing the last few levels to Wolf. I have 2 world completions. and working on a third.
I play around 2 to 6 hours a night. simply because of my work schedule does not allow me to have a social life, (restaurant).
In all of the times I have had those opportunities to do things with all of you have been some really fun times for me. I am afeared that by the time Arena net gives us the content that we are so desperately asking for. The new stuff the new challenges. the stuff that makes “teams”
no one will be around.

I would recommend doing it on a shorter path. And preferably a path that casual players would actually pug. I mean most of the people who complain about the meta dont even do arah so they wouldnt have a clue whats going on. Plus if i were doing the runs id probably get annoyed repeating arah with crap gear.
To be honest i kind of feel like just saying go do se p1 with all those scenarios. That way each run even when done badly shouldnt take long.
The other choice I would pick would either be TA up or a CM path.

Arah seems to be our Last sanctuary. I would prefer not to dirty it to much….

I ran my Sinister Necro with some friends the other day through AC. Just for giggles. I will be honest I had alot of fun playing.
and I was the biggest leech…
casual or not. I dont think I could describe how terrible I felt standing in their fire fields for might stacks…. just.. standing there… Or leaving the shiney Ice bow on the ground because I knew me picking it up was pointless. Or the dispair I had when I finished my “rotation” and got 20 bleed stacks on the Spider queen as it dies……
It was casual. It was fun. but man do I feel like a leech……

In your all’s opinion, What dungeon path do you all feel showcases the “best” showing of knowledge and skill??
(thinking on it myself) I wonder if Arah 4 may be it…..
the reason I ask As a concept to what Spoj is suggesting. And something that DnT did awhile back with Lupi, (the play how you want meta vs beserker meta speed kill ). Most of us in here know the difference between the game modes, the styles of Play and what “Meta” actually is. It would be an interesting experiment, and perhaps give some of us something to do to stave off the boredom.

AFAIK Anet created new dungeons after the dungeon team was disbanded.
they did Twighlight Arbor Aether path.
everything else was done by the original Dungeon team. Even if it was released after they “left”
none the less.
Based upon the interview. Dungeons are not on the project list currently. they will be at a later time, Later time being entirely subjective. and based around other projects including WvW, PvP, LS etc. Fractals is more likely to see some additions in the nearer future, based on the interview simply because they are Easier to create and implement. Arena Net has Hired a Raid designer and such team. but realistically it wont be till at least Summer I would imagine before we see anything along those lines.

In PvE Oraganized content. meaning Dungeons and fractals. Necromancer does not have a “Party” build. No matter how you cut it or look at it they just dont.
We may not like it, but its the reality.
honestly in my opinion currently the only thing they could do barring completely changing the class to make them worthwhile in PvE would be to up the damage output beyond Thief. Necromancer offer no party support worth mentioning. so what could they bring? damage…..
but lets see how well that goes over in PvP.
2 necros out of 11 characters. The impulse that made me level a second necro is long forgotten lol. Its now a naked and unused character.
I got mine outfitted with Clerics gear when I feel like rolling MM in WvWvW to kitten people off :P

I really wish necros would have a decent role in PvE. By far my favorite light armor class but there’s just no point using it outside of casual lvl 20 fractal fun runs.
