In fact, condition warrior is unseen and not as effective as rough axe power/prec warrior. However, the good point of condi warrior can be that we stack up our bleeds very fast. I run myself a very hybrid build dealing most of damage via bleeds from sword mh, and I often keep over 20 stacks of bleeds, and usually not going under 12 with only basic attacks. My build is 0/20/20/30/0, with banners healing. It has good toughness (almost 3300), nice ticks from banner regen (about 170/180 tick), and even better extreme regen for all party from dwayna runes (360 tick every sec+180 from banners= 540 hp/sec for whole party/raid). Condi damage is about 85-90, which I find nice due to the jack-of-all-tradeiness of build. I use rabid gear, with mix of Knight stat jewelery/Rabid stat jewelery with some little Heal power boosts fromsword(Jormag’s), and shield. I find this build good, providing good support and damage for group and looking foward for some condi buffs for PvE (those objects, pff). Hope we will get some love in this aspect

“Coward” would be perfect..Frees you from all cripples/chills/immobilizes and Knocks back/stuns your foe for 2 seconds. Long range, 45 second cooldown. If the target was more than 900 away, cd is 20 sec. No more RtL escape elems or shortbow rushing thieves away from us to reset. Perfect tool for our mobility

Really cool idea. Agree that they should be heavy armor, since Ima AS But seriously, it seems pretty cool, balanced and skill-demanding class, which I’d be veery glad to see, since I prefer ghosts and other cool stuff from old rit rather than simple turrets I have also couple ideas. I like how mesmers were designed in GW1 (compared to gw2, they’re total crap now, only name remained the same), around forcing opponent to pay attention what mesmer do rather than trying to evade 999999 damage on every burst. Example for elite skill: For next 3 seconds you and enemy become one soul. You suffer from all damage and negative effects from your enemy, but also share heals and other . stuff

Fake Casting an improvement on gameplay?..

You can already cancel abilities, your animations are your castbars, as an above poster said “Having a feel of what your opponent is/will cast next based on many hours of gameplay and by watching their movements, is[Skill]”

The reason for this thread clearly proves the point that people can and do see abilities memorize animations, counter weapon switches, it’s infact because of this that asura are so stupid right now, they provide an ezmode alternative, where your skills are hardly noticeable.

I can’t say if you read anything I’ve written about fake casting or not. Probably second option, as you don’t point any kind of reason. Yes, I see that we already have cast bars, channeling bars and animations, genious. What is very important, I’ve also noticed you can cancel them! Wow! I suggest you to not ignore post you reply to. If we don’t want this game to be zergfest/RNG faceroll defense we have to know what foe is doing. Example? Sure, here you have one: You 1 vs. 1 against a thief, and he’s going to restealth. He’s an asura. Now, how you can point out what kind of stealth did he use? Was it a short one, longer one? You see, you don’t really notice it. Ruins tactics, and makes you to just give up or defense randomly. Blizzard didn’t make their shorter races taller or reskined for pvp, that’d be hilarious. Did it lower the skill cap? Well, not at all. GW1 had cast bars, had very good mechanic (mesmer) based about canceling/interrupting casts and it was no problem. You can’t sella game as a e-sport which is trying to be Street Fighter, no castbars=no prediction=no tactics=no skill. Keep up zergfest,

The problem with enemy cast bars is that Arena Net wanted everything to be more reliant on the visibility of the world itself. That is why they were not in the game to start with and the UI is very minimized.

This. No cast bars. It would lower the skill cap, not raise it. Memorizing the names of the most dangerous skills so you can interrupt them isn’t in fact, skill. Having a feel of what your opponent is/will cast next based on many hours of gameplay and by watching their movements, is.

This required situational awareness lends itself greatly to the immersiveness of the combat and gameplay. And I think it would be of too great a detriment to that immersiveness and feel changing character model sizes, for the tiny smidge of fairness you might add.

It’s also a totally hokey/kludgey way to fix the “issue.” I hope ANet has more class than to just resize a race model because someone lost at pvp.

Re-size of skins is just plain wierd, and I’m 100% sure it will not be implemented in game. Ever.
You say that cast bars lower skill cap. Well, not really. Have you ever heard of “Fake Cast”? What it means, you cancel ability when casting to force enemy try to counter it. In games like WoW it’s very skillbased mechanic due to hard CC/healing skills and in much more dynamic game like GW2 it could be even more, just because reaction time is quite shorter.
The another reason is, you won’t build working Esport based on watching animations. They’re too different, they can lag out, they just won’t work. You can’t make MMO based only about bunkers/roamers and watching animations, dear God! You have to predict, you have to have full view of what you see, then we can speak about more advanced tactics, build diversity and e-sport. Without these basics, I’d say core pvp mechanics most of the times you smash your defenses and interrupts veery randomly when entering larger fight.
When the game pretends to be a revolution, be it, but don’t throw away whole bunch of good ideas because “it was before” like Robespierre in french revolution, or you’ll kill yourself.

Well, what we need in this game is a solution: cast bars. Yes, that’s coming back to “old” MMOs. However, it increases the skill cap. I’m not saying that there should be bars for auto-attack. Nah, just for other ones, dodges too maybe. What it does? Well, increases skillcap since you can make use of good-timed interrupts in larger fights than against two people, and you don’t care if they’re playing “E.T. rat” or normal model. Also, it creates great window for PvE fight (like, you can time skills better) and does great come-back to GW1 mechanics, much more based around interrupts.

In fact, Elementalists with D/D are simply the best class in game, followed by mesmer, for pvp. The biggest problem of them is that they’re even tougher than guardians, have literally milions of escape/reset abilities and still do a lot of damage, more than any other bunker-specced class. Swiftness+RtL * 2 elems = pure win in tPvP unless other team doesn’t run something similar. Best cappers, best mobility, best survivability, best healing. What’s the point of other classes?

You won’t “zerg” good guardian. You can go with Axe*Mace till they spend all blocks, heals and aegis, and then try to knocdown them and finish off with quick burst before they get defensive again. Same goes with D/D elems, and option is the same: You can go with rifle. Keepin at bay seems legit

Hi, my in-game name is Rosenheart. I’ve been playing warrior class for tons of hours now, from game release with some breaks. After I’ve got some experience in sPvP I’ve started to search for some nice build. Tried many of them. From crazy GS classic GC lolfrenzy100b to support/tank builds. What was I searching for? Well, my story with warriors began in WoW where I’ve fallen in love in Fury spec. Totally loved it, inspired by Plumka’s Feel The Fury videos later(search on yt if you want). Couldn’t find anything close to WoW warrior in GW2. But suddenly, like a week ago, I found it. Here it is: Weapons are ; Axe/Mace, both with sigil of air (you can also switch sigil on mace to anything you want, like BL) and Axe/Shield with Sigil of Str(this one which gives you might on crit) and S. Of Hydromancy on shield. Armor runes are full Strenght. Traits are 30/15/20/5/0 (II,X,XII/Rending Strikes/Reflect on block, Sundering Mace). Amulet is Knight’s with Soldier’s jewel. Healing Surge, Bulls, Signet of Stamina, Balanced Stance, SoR. So, what’s the purpose behind it? You can face pretty every class with it, BS thieves are laughable. You have 28k hp and tons of toughness, Signet if Stamina which I find brilliant (More dodges vs. non-condi classes, total removal vs condis), Balanced which is a must, gap closer. Very high burst and sustained damage (Sigil of Air hits hard), a lot of Might stacks (keep in mind you have +5% damage with boon on). Why did I choose Berserker’s Might? Easy. In combat, you keep 5 stacks for whole time, which grant you adrenaline= more healing, more burst. Basic channeled damage is amazing. Just try it, sure you’ll be impressed by what non-GS warrior can do

I strongly agree. I just hate same 2-3 tunes in EVERY locations from 1-20, and even further. GW1 had totally immersive soundtrack, Alot darker, dramatic songs. Remember music in the Ascalon after Searing? Literally pulling you behind the screen. I’m so happy if I get some soundtrack from GW1 when playing GW2, thanks god some of the songs still remain and I don’t have to hesr same happy, “too-much-hero” tracks over over and over again.

The idea of “variety” of builds <- sad to say, but it breaks pvp system for warrior. Sure, you can go pretty much every weapon set you like, but most of our traits try to be too universal. Some of them are very cool, but most of are not. For example, Forceful Greatsword, Mobile Strikes, Leg Specialist, Unsuspecting Foe. These are brilliant ideas. But rest are not. Gives worthless buffs, small boosts usable only in PvE, but really nothing for dynamic combat of PvP. Adrenaline bar is broken. Devs, trying to make every weapon viable for everything with no custom optionseliminated half of the skills. Really, sword or axe for example. You catch up the target, and you follow it. That’s it, you avoid using other weapon skills like hell, you just lose dps. Other example. Rifle. 4 of 5 skills base on power/precision. But, but! Autoattack is bleeding attack which does not benefit from pow/prec! So… What’s the purpose of this weapon? Dunno. Same you I guess. Until they fix our traits, give customable weapon skills and finally give warrior “sturdy body” we’re screwed. Playing as a ranger in PvP only now. Also, check out my Class Rework Project, will be updated very soon, includes several changes to warrior class for now.

Power Ranger?

Hi, I’m pretty new to the ranger class, and I’m wondering if there is some kind of decent build for sPvP with a Longbow/X not based around BM that much, focusing rather on big damage from longbow/ kite ability and mobility/ CC, using pet rather like a support to surv/ CC. I see only pure Glasses with longbow, not very efficient at damage tbh, but mostly Condi SB rangers. I’m tired of condition damage, want some kind of interesting LB build. If you could post a link, I’d be glad

Warrior is by far easiest class to play for the begginer. But, take a look at 80. I don’t count CoF and AC as a dungeons, they’re speedclear farmvilles. In other dungeons, being a glass GS no-mind warrior doesn’t profit. In fact, GS can be most useless weapon for PvE warrior who try to reach sth harder than CoF full set. In melee, shield is almost must-have for me, interrupt and great block – these things alone make 1h+shield sets much more enjoyable for me. Yes, we might have largest hp pool but with what cost? Unless specced into Soldier’s Runes we have very poor condition removal, which destroys us. We might have heavy armor, but we don’t have access for such a great boon like Protection. With that boon, even “squishy” elementalist is more tanky than normal warrior. We don’t have that great heals either, mostly used healing skill in sPvP – mending – heals us for about 1/5 of hp pool. Then you can’t tell we have more surv, heals are the same and hp in this game means nothing, it falls down in seconds, boons and condi removal are much more important. When it comes to PvP – you won’t be a tanky warrior, bunker as “squishy” elementalist, or “low hp pool” guardian. Never, ever. Most of the warriors you can see are very simple GS cannons, dying faster than any “squishy” thief or “non-forgiving” mesmer. Really, if you make your opinion based on levels 1-79 and speedclears only… Warrior is probably one of the least forgiving classes, one wrong dodge and you die. With no super-escape oh kitten button. L2P and don’t consider speedcleaners as warriors. They’re not

How Do I PvP as a Warrior?

As far as I’m experienced in sPvP ( not talking about W3, itt’s not a real form of competition) the best warrior can do is go rough aggresive playstyle. I’ve tried tons of semi-dps builds, tried defensive builds and it’s not that way. Of course, some builds are better or worse is some situations, but most viable set for me is glass 20/20/0/10/20 with GS/Hammer. I don’t really like Axe+Shield in offhand. Why? Lacks CC. Sure it’s better in big zergs, but you for hard escapes. However, I found out that hammer gives me muuch more survival and control than any other offhand weapon. Great to switch right after GS burst, gives you 4 hard controls with immobilize on cripple+ weakness, great with other Glasses, who Iconstantly beat. Warrior in this build really depends on staying on the target, so I use Balanced Stance, Bulls, Bolas. If you manage to catch foe in chain, they’re dead. Even D/D eles and support guardians (using sigil of rage on gs/hydromancy hammer). The only problem are mesmers. Usually avoid better ones.

When I agree about more skills avalible for every single weapon combination (could be a modifer, changing basic skills to do sth else etc.) I completly disagree with your state about “stategic” TB. Whoever played it can say that it was just kitten hillarious Capture&Hold Clockwise circle cycle. And, for real, group with more healers was winning by zerg. I feel that the only lack of WoW system can be found in sPvP, which is now, with lazy CTP modes, static, about bunkers and roamers and with no real purpose. I liked Cataclysm pvp, mostly because of 3v3 2k+ rated arenas. Why? They were much about tactic and skillshow&teamwork. It wasn’t a 2 sec burst zerg on both sides (most of the times, not to mention ogues with legendaries& mages), you had time to react and predict, which was incredible fun. I suppose sth like Resilience should be added to GW2 PvP (not a stat on armor, just a buff/debuff when touching any player on W3, sPvP) ASAP!

Coming from 2,4k S11 WoW hunter (Dreaded, EU). You can’t compare Hunter to Ranger, especially Cata Hunter and MM. Ranger play is not a wonder, you’re decent class in PvE as in W3, however you kack of mobility/tricks in any real kind of skilled pvp. Pets are broken in pvp (incredibly slow reaction to your commands, mostly their utilities). Play is more static, less precise, about luck and wonders, horrible strafe and kiting. It’s just totally different, expecting MM from current state of ranger is too much, it doesn’t exist. However, if you enjoy Survival you’ll be surprised about nice shortbow, BM is also a good option. Try it:)

Help needed with Sword|Shield warrior

Atm I’m using sword/shield+longbow combo with 0/20/20/30/0. I use full rabid(prec, cond dmg, toughness) armor with dwayna’s runes, and knight accesories with some minor boosts for healing power. On sword-earth sigil. With this build I find myself in nearly every situation. I don’t like shouts, because they provide only short-burst support and make you to fill utilities with them. As a condition dealer, I can provide nice bleed damage, even better in offensive situations when I can trade Adrenal Health regen for Flurry. I have nice mobility from sword 2, CC from sword 3 and Shield Bash, surv from traited Shield Stance. I find myself very tough if needed, you have increased boon duration, over 3200-3300 armor or higher, regen from banners/AH/ RNG regen from dwayna (50% increased duration) + you and allies get regen everytime you pop Mending/HS. You also have a longbow with nice condi damage and for ZvZvZ. I bring Banner of Defense and two optional utilities, depend of situation, great thing is, you’re free to pick whatever you want. Works nice

The problem is, you won’t balance all new changes ASAP, it’s impossible for devs to do this without active player support. By that I mean creating Public Test Realms. All problems, bugs solved. Players want to help improve their game, just give them a chance to do it for free, they can spot way more exploits in a week than whole ANet them in a year.

Agree. Honestly, Capture the point is nice mode, but it forces players do bunker or zergfest the points. Capture The Flag is way more teamplay and challanging as for me. Besides brilliant modes from GW1, I’d like to see spectator mode. This feature was really cool in GW1. When I was having some break or waiting for FoW run, I could just enjoy watching top players taking parts in GvG.

Serioously, don’t try to copy WoW to GW2. These two don’t compare. Notice that class abilities and specifications changes with different weapons. Maybe, when 2h axes will be introduced, Necors wielding them would be more like Death Knights from WoW (your “dark warrior”). Idk, depends on devs

First of, I want to thank all guys who would tell that it’s very odd, non-dynamic mechanic. They’re right, however, this odd mechanic is needed as hell.
If game is going to be e-sport in future, there cannot be something like spotting skills by look. If you play asura, there’s basiclly no chance to recognize their actions, that’s why soo many people in PvP play Asura. Secondly, you have to time interrupts if they’re in game already.
The cast bar’s should be very big, I imagine them same as in GW1, small bars under target’s name, with icon, name and bar.
Seriously, it should add so much skill to the game.

1,4,7,9 – approve. Death penalty shouldn’t be as pain in the kitten as in GW1, 15% is way too high, but I like morale system. It could fade in max 10-15 mins on full cap, or you’d have to pay/kill mobs. And here comes 10. Brilliant idea for me. I hate MF stqt, every kind of this mechanic destroys MMO games. Do same as in WoW. Make some specific drops from specific bosses with one % drop chance, other zone or world drops. MF is broken, hated mechanic and I 11, 13 and order missions (same as Zaishen missions) could be a ery nice add to game, they could made end-game players to visit other areas than Orr and FOTM, and give some life to other zones, while doing these missions daily.

As far as I know, most entertaining Glass Cannon WvWvW warrior video, you have pretty nice 1vX here, however with no stomps everytime due to squishy defense of HB+H

In my opinion there’re only 2 ways to accomplish that in WvWvW:
1. Use I trait from strenght trait tree, called “Death From Above”. If you can perfectly launch it from high cliff, does really, really nice damage, no limit of targets. then you just simply launch some strong AoE to execute players, however they can zerg you in second if you’re too late.
2. Try really glassy setup, which is glass canoon GS full berserker+ Hammer. You can pick a trait which gives you 50% crit chance if target is stunned. Then you launch Earthshaker to Frezny HB, Whirlwind. Succesfull and unexpected combo can be deadly for whole bunch of enemies.

The problem is, even if you down 4-5 players, it’s really hard to stomp them, I prefer killing them by attacks. Even if downed, they do damage, blind you, stun you etc, and you don’t have perma stealth stomps or crazy regeneration/toughtness. You can’t, you won’t take down 4-5 players with some kitten tanky build, you have to be a glass.

How To Improve Game +[Warrior]

Now, I’d like to see couple (just couple changes) to certain skills.

-Hammer Smash – should apply a 1 second stun if the target is moving, hammer should also do 10-15% more damage.
-Hamstring – Useless, Savage Leap should apply Cripple, 3rd sword slot to rework, give it some damage and might.
-Counterblow – another underpowered skill. Should apply short 1 sec stun.
-Cyclone Axe – should strike twice
-Battle Standard – should increase healing by 15-20%.

And now, rework of our elites:
-Signet of Rage – Passive: Cures 1 condition for every 10 seconds. Reduces damage taken by 10%, doubles adrenaline gained, heals on every nerby death.
Active: Grants Vigor, Fury, Might and Swiftness, cures all conditions, heals X.
-Warrior’s Endurance (Rampage) – (Since that skill was a total joke and easter egg for warriors, I come up with something different, however, with same visual effect, but with weapons and normal set of skills.) – Frees warrior’s primal strenght and toughtness. Makes all conditions and control effects fade 50% faster, grants stability, doubles warrior’s maximum health, increases damage by 20%, reduces damage taken by 20% and AoE damage taken by 50%, makes toughtness 50% more effective. Heals warrior for every succesfull strike. Lasts 20 seconds, cooldown 90-120 seconds. After effect fades, warrior takes 30% more damage and gets Weakness for 10 seconds.

This is it for now. In future I’ll be still looking for some general changes, and Class Rework, also coming back to earlier changes, adding some thing etc. Happy Christmas!

How To Improve Game +[Warrior]

The Warrior

The Warrior class is completly secret for me right now. It’s very casual-friendly, easy for newcomers, but after you ding 80 you realise, that it’s not good in anything than only CC or only pure damage, especially in PvP. Since I’ve read tons of topics, suggestions about it I made my own little rework for this class, which is not perfect at all, but makes class unique and fun-to-play in my opinion.

My Vision of Class
When I think about a warrior, I see a class which is not a healer, it’s more like tactican who is very efficient in group, and his combat, even if tanky is not stative and passive like guardian, it’s aggressive and active. He can be extremly powerful and tough on battlefield if in combat. This class shouldn’t be a thief, with extreme nuke burst, their damage and power should grow better the fight lasts longer, and be not a squishy target, especially for physical damage. On the other hand, as a ranged warrior he should be very efficent for group if wielding a bow or a nice range single target gunner if wielding a rifle. Here are my suggestions.

Basiclly, I’d like to see two addnational source skills (like burst skill), depending on your off-hand weapon. They would use adrenalin resource, same as burst skills nowadays, however they should be on slighty longer coolown, such as 15-30s, their effectivness would scale with how much adren you have .The point is, they would be only avalible on your main weapon set. One of them would be always offensive, second deffensive and you can’t combine it, they both go on same cooldown of skill you recently used, one removes other. My suggestions are:

Warhorn
F2: Paralyzing Roar – Targeted foe and his allies nearby to him (up to 3) get crippled for 3/4/6 seconds. Range 1000.
F3: Call of Combat – Grants your allies Protection for 4/6/8 seconds and cures 0/1/2 conditions on yourself.

Shield
F2: Shield Stance – For next 2/3/5 seconds you get stability and block every attack. You get 2 seconds of retaliation for every blocked attack.
F3: “None Shall Pass!” – Knocks down all nearby moving foes for 1/1.5/2 seconds if you have an ally with you (Can be a NPC or other player)

Longbow
F2: “Burn Them!” – Your nearby allies’ missiles burn foes for 1 second. Lasts 3/6/9 seconds.
F3: Archer’s Swiftness – for 5/10/15 seconds, each time you burn a foe you get 3 seconds of swiftness and 1 second of vigor.

Rifle
F2: Steady Aim – for next 5/10/15 seconds you do 20% more damage, you attack 25% faster and you have 15% increased critical chance. Ends if you move.
F3: “Taste My Dust!” – Every time you dodge an attack, you blind all nearby foes for 2 seconds. Lasts 4/8/12 seconds.

Greatsword
F2: Juggernaut – Your Rush ability has now increased range (by 50%) and stuns foe and all his nearby allies for 1 second on contact, also it’s cooldown is decrased by 2/3/4 seconds. Lasts 5/10/16 seconds.
F3: Frenzied Defense – When you use Hundred Blades, Whirlwind, Bladetrail or Rush, you take 50% less damage from all sources. Lasts 4/6/9 seconds.

Axe
F2: Dismember – If target suffers from Vulnerability, he gets Weakness and gets Crippled for 3/6/9 seconds.
F3: Whirling Defense – Your next 1/1/2 Whirling Axe(s) will give you Retaliation and Swiftness for it’s duration.

Mace
F2: Crushing Blow – Does X damage. If the target is stunned, your next 1/2/3 attak(s) w stun foes for 1 second.
F3: “Coward!” – Melee range: inflict Weakness to target for 2/4/6 seconds.
Range 300-1000: Stuns the target for 2 seconds and knocks him down.

Sword
F2: Cruelty – For next 4/8/12 seconds you attack 20% faster and your bleeds do 25% more damage.
F3: Soldier’s Stance – For next 5/10/15 seconds your cooldown on Riposte is decreased by 6/9/12 seconds

Now we go into the land of imagination when ANet gives us lovely 2h axe – Greataxe
Greataxe
F2: Executioner’s Strike – Does X damage. If the target is over 50% health, you get 4/6/10 stacks of might, if under or at – Does 40/50/60% more damage.
F3: Thrill Of Victory – If you have more Health than the enemy, you get healed for X/Y/Z.

In this topic, I give some overall suggestions about the game and I post my own changes for every of each class. For now I’ve done:
-Warrior

Hi, first of I’d like to say that I’m not dissapointed on Guild Wars 2. It’s really great game, with tons of brilliant ideas you cannot spot in any other MMO combined together, nice, dynamic combat system and very player-friendly mechanics. However, as we can see, the game is having some major problems in the current state, mostly PvP.
I know that it’s very hard thing to devs, just because players will always find out some exploit/OP thing after balance patch and the problem will raise again.
My suggestion is to create a PTR (Public Test Realm), open for all, or chosen players (depending on your experience/knowledge of the game, I don’t know, there’re many options) who will test classes balance, find nasty exploits, make suggestions, try new mechanics/improvements/skills, search for bugs. This feature is working for World of Warcraft, when I was playing WoW I did all these things for nothing, no stuff for real characters is required, It’s meant to be fun but also makes devs work a lot easier!
Second thing is current state of roamers/bunkers. Even if the fight should be very skill-dependent, it can’t be that fast. I mean, what can you do if shatter mesmer gets you in their combo? Can you counter that? Nope, if they manage to do it, you die, no counters. Same with thieves/Bulls+frenzy+HB full berserker GS warriors. Simple zerg/bunker is way more effective than balanced, tactical play and it’s not fun at all.
My solution is to:
-keep current state of damage but ONLY in strict PvE, not including WvWvW
-lower the damage output in PvP (it’s a feature that was in WoW for yeares now, called resilience, lowers the damage/crit chance on player targets and their pets/minions, not on NPCs)
-bring more PvP options, such as capture the flag, escort NPC, maybe some pure small-scaled arenas
-Make these combo field effect which were very interesting thing in your game even more effective, or giving you some reward if you use it/land correctly, such as +minor points in sPvP, or other prizes, It’s too good teamplay mechanic to be forgotten as it is for now by most players.
My next point is to bring life to other dungeons and paths which are typical run-to-chest and fast farm. The problem is that nowadays people just run CoF/ AC only because they’re veery quick and easy to do. My first thought is to make easier paths in these dungeons (like 1&2nd path in CoF) harder and longer. Give us some type of rewards for completing dungeons like Arah, CoE or harder paths than typical “5 minute farm path”. I don’t know if it should be (not tokens for particular dungeons, maybe new armors for overall tokens, it could be very nice) more gold, greater loot chance or something. Since many paths in dungeons have difficulty and time differences, you could point that in start explo NPC’s choices so new players would have some kind of clue and wouldn’t get obliterated/dissapointed.
It’s a very raw idea, but you could also give us some rewards for exploring map zones other than these closest to dungs. I mean, it’s very hard I believe, because no other MMO I played figured out how to do it.
Now, after overall suggestions, I’d like to please devs and experienced players to post their opinions about my first GW2 project, which is Class Rework, and here comes my first objective: The Warrior Class, which is my main so I have most exp in it. Further classes coming soon.

Two handed axes!

I wish battleaxes would be more like single target 2h with some kind of bleed maybe, and hard-hitting skill, non-casted or not with too long animation, able to use in move. I feel really dissapointed at 2h swords skills, which are kinda cool, but to be honest, there’s only one big bazooka that counts: HB, which is less than uneffective in PvP if you don’t run as a frenzy glass canoon ;/. 2h axes should be something between hammer and greatsword I believe
