The thing i don’t like is that the devs still didn’t make a locker spot for them…

I got a lot of those badges from achievement chests as well so people that don’t want to go to wvw should get some AP —> achievement chests —> badges of honor —> rank 30

Still i don’t see the problem.. I think i went from 0 to 10 in a day.

The only thing i hate about this map are engi and thief’s stealth pulls.

We brought a full zerker staff ele into a few tournament rounds yesterday and as long as he didn’t get focussed he would bring anyone down on point.
It was pretty fun to try that for a few rounds.

A few smart ones out there kept hunting the ele down but other than that it was fun to see bunkers having no idea what to do.. do i stay on point in meteor showers and frost bow aoe and die or do i run… most just stay on point haha.

Remove the map from solo queue untill you have tweaked it enough for players to like it.
Like: Remove the glass panels around the side points/time to make them break WAAAY longer, remove hammer or make it dodgeable, make the hammer platform bigger and with no breakable glass.
That would make me like it ALOT more

I like the map as well but a thing i really hate is thiefs or engineers going stealth and doing scorpion wire and im dead. There’s no counter play for that…
Making the time for the glassplates to break longer would prevent that from happening a lot. And cannon is op

Pve’ers flame so much more than pvp’ers

The guru page says fire/flame in first post yea..
But some people that commented said they didn’t get a single fire weapon…
Also wiki has no info about this at all.. so i guess nobody knows..
Haven’t really seen anyone with the staff in pvp either.

I play a lot of PvP, and 1 thing I try to do as a PvPer is be kind to the new players who are obviously PvP-ing for the first time. It might help, it might not, but its worth a try.

I pvp quite a lot and been helpfull as well to new players.
I’d like them to stay and keep trying to get better.

What might be fun to try is to go into a hotjoin room with a friend or guildie.
Then join the same room and same team and have a lot of fun together.
Atleast i like pvp a lot more when im playing with one or more friends.

Since you still get the win bonus if you get auto balanced i usually don’t mind getting balanced.
Although it sucks when you’re in the same server with friends since they just hunt me down then T_T

Have a mouse with programable keys as well..
As long as you keep it to one button one action it’s fine.
I have utlities and elite on mouse instead of around wasd.

Cleric guardian here as well.
What i hate the most about the active skill is that 3-4s cast time
People are downed by those aoe from the fire boss at molten facility for example.
And i won’t be able to reach them in time so i use this skill instead.
But with such a long cast time they still die :l

Of course ressing more people at same time or bigger radios would be nice extra’s
But reducing the cast time would help a lot.

Just don’t do the annoying mistlock abilities. When I was running 30+ fractals I would just join teams that were doing a level that didn’t have an annoying mistlock ability.

What’s the fun in that??…..
We finally have some hard content with these mistlocks and i enjoy them all!

Ah yes this was rather a hard part for us as well.
We always stack in the corner in the hallway and get them in there.
I’m a full support guardian so i didn’t do a lot of attacks myself but pretty much tried to keep the others alive.

Also with staff i was able to only let a few come to us while blocking the rest to make sure we don’t 1 hit ourselves when we do some aoe dmg.
One guardian symbol pretty much killed me immediatly there haha

So some heals from elementalist and only killing a few at a time did the trick for us i guess

Just spend 250 laurels on heavy crafting bags.
It looked like the best way to spend my laurels for some gold.
It would be 213g in total with match lowest seller in tp but i’ll problably put them a little higher.

I got 2 mails in my gw2 career with something extra just because i bought gems at that period.
This is just the first time they announce giving a special reward.

It was sort of the same in guild wars 1 except that it was with some kind of pvp currency.
And the fact that there were 1319 skills in the game made you really look before you bought anything..

Think about.. if we get even more skills later on.. like 50 for every class..
It’s going to be a though time for new pvpers to see what skill does what..
This system would help them a lot.

Since last update we are able to get fractal weapons in pvp as well.
But there’s no spot in pvp locker yet to deposit :l

I’ve had lots of people asking me already how i got it in pvp..
Seems many don’t know they became skins with the last update to be converted to pve or pvp now

I guess it just doesn’t work with the green numbers.
I also tried to use the food after getting a stat boost from a banner and my thoughness one from my traits.
This won’t add up any more healing power than the other way around.

Removing actual gear with vitality and thoughness stats does lower my healing power.
Anyone else did some research on this?

I mean.. all that skyhammer farming and birthday present bug.. that’s pretty unfair no?
Getting 25k glory a match is like 62x more than i got at that time..
And they problably bought tons of dyes already with their glory..
Got a few abyss they sold for 41g.. couple of celestial for 27g..

And with even more rewards coming.. We sure would like to know what’s going to happen to them!

They’re not turning a blind eye to it but we’re not getting any updates on it either…

With these changes coming to pvp..
I feel like the players who exploited to get glory and ranks fast are rewarded even more…

To honor the effort that players have put into the rank system
They get a finisher wich is not obtainable anymore once ladders are implemented. They just kept exploiting on skyhammer for a month to go from rank 1 to 50 or maybe even 60 and get their permanent shark finisher for free.

A new glory vendor that has several items available for purchase with both glory and gold.
They got the same amount of glory in a few weeks by cheating.. other people had to play a year to get this amount. Glory is a currency and even dye’s are pretty expensive atm. Now they will be able to get more items with their unfair glory amount.

I am really surprised there’s no info still about what will happen to these cheaters.
I was hoping there would be something in the blogpost but nothing yet….

Maybe it’s just that food doesnt stack with buffs but here’s the thing.
This food should make my healing power higher the more thoughness and vitality i have.

Nourishment (20 m): Gain healing power equal to 6% of your vitality.
Gain healing power equal to 4% of your toughness.

But when my thoughness and vitality go up the healing power stays the same amount…
So it this just how food works or is this actually a bug?

There’s been a pvp exploit in gw1 as well to get your pvp rank/title up very fast.
It was bannable in gw1 so it should be the same for gw2.

One dev already said they had all the info about who did it and how much he did.
And another dev already promised more news about pvp next monday.
So i guess we’ll hear news then about what will happen to those who exploited.

Energy is for dodge rolling
When u filter game messages on in your chat you will see these messages.
But they never appeared this much untill some update not so long ago.
Maybe it’s a new feature…

Was hoping i accidentally pressed some key to turn this crap on/off.
Guess i’ll just keep game messages filtered off..

The screenshot below is pretty much how my chat looks like when i play.
I spam my buttons a lot and im getting quite annoyed now by this message.
Is there any other way to turn this off except for turning off “Game Messages”??

The skill recharging spam or not enough energy spam in my chat started to appear with some update this or last month.. I’ve always had game messages on and never got this spam untill that one update…

From the looks of it the item rewards got better though.
I did fractal 30, 31 and 32 now and got 2 ascended boxes, 3 exotics and a few rares.
I wonder what 50 gives now

One of us died on the button in the 2 button room and the door closed.
But the one using that thing behind the door didn’t get interrupted so we still did it.. I guess thats a bug :p

And do dredge pickup the bombs now or something at the door blasting part?
I had to put a sanctuary on them to keep them from removing them ;o

Warrior is totally fine, op nub l2p qq thread. Warrior is not op , all other profs too weak. HS is more than fine, all other healing too weak. Warrior is only stronk when traited. If no trait warrior can’t do everything. Op needs to learn how to dodge. Dodge all warrior attacks op l2p. Op need to keep warrior poisoned 100%. Op need to learn bringing friends to fight warrior, when facing 3 players warrior goes down fast or runs away fast. Warriors is balanced its op doen’t know teamwork. Kills shot can be dodged reflected. Hammer f1 predictable. 5 is too slow. Wtf warrior can’t even use short bow how can warrior be op?

I think it’s better like this.
It was way too easy to just let 2 people die on a button to get the door open.
Now i can finally kite some mobs again and others can play with shields and stealths.

Mesmers and thiefs can use stealth and a spykit so that’s a pretty long stealth.
Guardians have shields and wall of reflection
And on and on… there’s a lot of skills that can help you in that room…

Wintersday skins i guess we’ll have to wait a bit
