wvw bonus on? guild bonus on?
its monday so wvw bonus should be low at the moment. it’s highest on fridays. ever payed attention to it, because it got huge impact on gathering (:
i get gems from mining with it like usual
normal dungeon token reward for path completion is 20. +40 is daily bonus – for each path
well. for ‘builds’ you need full traits and skill slots, which comes with level
going down in wvw is more about lack of class experience and/or being in wrong place at wrong time. gear doesn’t help much, unless you meet someone 1v1, who is similar low lvl like you
toughness would help a bit with direct damage. but if you get focused in zerg vs zerg, or get hit by a lot conditions, then it won’t save you
your melee weapon choice is akward for wvw @ 15lvl because:
you don’t stand a chance vs 80lvl in small fights
you cannot contribute much to zerg vs zerg fight with melee weapons, as you cannot have enough survivability to run into enemy zerg (lack of traits and utility/ulti skill slots)
the only winning options for you:
be on the outnumbering side in small fights
in zerg vs zerg fights, do not come out of your zerg, and smack only those enemies who run into your zerg. tho ranged weapons would be more viable here
yes i did. even happened in pugs few times in a lifetime
just announce that you want to ‘kill all ze things!’ when you are making/looking for group. tho it often takes a bit longer to find players who wanna play the game, because most of the playerbase are just skirtt who want shinies

I have been told that all loot drops from Mobs are unique to our character I am confused I have talked it over with friends who play the game and such and then thought about it myself….How is it unique of when we get loot what comes out of it is another professions equipment. Thats not unique to us. Thats someone elses loot. I am not saying I wished to get something for my profession handed to me. But if its a chance of getting equipment why not get other loot like trophies and other such things then it would be unique to Our characters. A set of gloves given to a Necromancer when they belong to a Guardian is not unique to a Necro. Just confused is all.
Actually that’s not completely true, later in the game there are areas where things are not unique to the players and i have had to fight over things in certain areas, very few but they do exist, some in much later maps are not unique to players accounts..
Uh, no. At the worst there’s competing for actually dealing some damage to mobs in the shelter/pen farming chain to get your loot drop, but other player’s can’t steal your loot from thing you kill in any portion of the game. Or, if you want to get really specific, trying to get on a res fbefore the guy gets up to get credit for your daily or something, but in all of these cases everyone who actually helped do a thing gets individual rewards for said thing. There isn’t anywhere in the game where someone can effectively steal rewards you earned, though some events don’t scale well so other players can inadvertantly prevent you from earning them.
there are a few quests in the low level areas which seem kind of unfair by not making the loot unique. What do I mean by that – example: fastest way to gain completion is to bring goo dropped by the slime on death. 3 players attack the slime, but only one ball drops. A player has to pick it up and carry it back to the NPC (it disables your skills, you’re literally carrying the ball). However I think there are only 3 hearts like that in total and normally even on high pop servers the maps are big enough so that there wouldn’t be too many players at the same time.
object you are writing about is dropped on death, but it’s not loot. well in this case it’s oozes dead body. if it was ‘loot’ you could pick it into your inventory
DR is not affected by daily reset. if you did some dungeon runs just before reset. and completed one run after daily reset, then it’s normal that you are in DR
besides anet never gave any clear info how DR works, therefor we cannot state that it’s not working as intended
also not sure if word ‘bug’ means what you think it means – as bug is something that is not working as intended. unlike something not working the way you want

i mean you can still solo champions even on low level. its just that damage output is low and it takes very long
mesmer – sword+focus/staff- with any immortal build variant
from programmer’s standpoint that’s same as suggesting option to disable gravity in real world.
that’s how mesmers prey on the thieves :p clones/phantasm work like detector lolz. they dispel only if target is too far or dead. tho they are not moving while target is stealthed

well seems your group was not the targeted audience of the exp mode. as by robert’s definition they are for – organized 5 man groups (tho freaks can solo some of them)
to reduce frustration:
you could prepare beforehand by watching videos how to fight at least bosses, of not whole path.
or find someone to guide you

4) moving to other starting zones is safer. there is 1-15 zone for each race, you can access them via their cities, which can be accessed from LA(lions arch) waypoint hub. LA can be reached from anywhere for free, by traveling to hearts of mist and using waypoint to LA from there.

a) staying in same area and repeating dynamic events
b) going to other started areas (1-15lvl)
c) exploring main cities (LA + each race city)
d) WvW
e) crafting (just doing 0-25 for couple professions would be enough to level a bit)

i disagree with your position. i think down state is ok. in pvp both sides have it, so its fair. in pve it prolongs fight, so its nice mechanic.
If you do not see any of those problems mentioned, I’d say you’re the minority here.

ok. lets imagine #3 server gets some #14/#15 ranked servers
fight would be even more boring, #3 server would have 95-100% objects captured. other 2 weak servers would be pushed into spawn zones
for #3 guys it would be boring, because there is nothing to fight
for #20/#21 guys it would be frustrated because they couldn’t do anything even if they wanted to, because they are just too outnumbered any time of the day
would you want to be on #15 ranked server doing world exploration, when matched against tier 1 server? thought so.
breaking line of sight to lure a ranged mob by using obstacles is 1×1 in gaming and certainly not an exploit
whatever you call it, its exploiting inferior AI. even if its massively accepted.
what would self-aware human player with ranged weapon do, if his melee opponent ran behind obstacle? certainly not run close to it. ranged player would circle obstacle around keeping his distance, and/or shower it with aoe attacks.
why self-aware human? because there are always plenty of those stupid ones, who get one-hitted by frenzied destroyer behind the corner (lineage2 anyone?)
P.S. i wish gw2 ranged mobs could nuke the obstacles players are using for abusing their LOS.

Every week same server? Interpolete 1 week top server, 1 week random server
there are server rankings, so no. not the same servers every week.
there is limited pool of points in each tier. therefor if some server is winning in its tier – gets more points then server who is currently losing in higher tier. and in time winning server will have more total points then the losing one and will swap tiers with each other.
if server matching was random, then some mactches would be completely one-sided. strong servers would get points based on ‘luck’ getting weak servers.
you sure its not just scaling? the more players in the area, the more ‘items’ you need to bring to npc

Warrior’s banner also revives defeated players. I don’t see a reason why guardian shouldn’t have this ability.
BTW – It has ridiculous casting time (not mentioning the cooldown) – how it is better to cast this spell, when it is more safe to revive downed players the normal way?If this should revive only downed players, ArenaNet, please change the description, casting time to 0-2 seconds and coodown to 120-180 seconds.
warrior’s war banner DOES NOT REVIVE DEAD players. heck, it occasionally fails to revive downed players if they are poisoned and taking damage
also it has 2 second cast time, and long reuse. but its worth it if you can revive few players at once.
what if that’s intended?
seems like you are playing in fullscreen mode, and your computer cannot handle restoring it? what are your computer specs
or maybe you have some other action binded to taskbar doubleclick – like starting 2nd instance of program?
have you tried windowed mode? (with same resolution as you are using)
carry ALL tears as far as possible – you drop them automatically once you go too far.
did this puzzle 2 days ago (sea of sorrows server). at first i thought i was bugged as it didn’t react to correct pattern nor any other i tried. but then brought all tears towards door. then assembled left pattern and boom. one torch lit up. and so on. hope this works for you too
