How awesome would it be if GW2 had a record feature like Starcraft 2 where you could go back and pause/play/rewind, look at different camera angles, builds etc. Oh the analysis you could do!
I gotta say you people are insane. If you believe that engis are so incredibly easy for how effective they are then I beg of you to go make one and play it right now. Then go make a hammer longbow warrior. Then go make a necro. It is NOT easy to be good on engi. I’m NOT biased, I play other classes extensively and have an incredible knowledge of how this game works. There is a kitten good reason why there are so few GOOD condi engis.
For the record, engis nearing the skill cap are too strong. The nerfs to vigor is a good first step albeit a bit misguided considering that the insane efficacy of engis that came about recently is from the fire bomb radius increase. Bomb nade is a kittening monster build and NEEDS to be toned down. Engis that actually kill things aren’t in need of a nerf to survivability in any way.

and again it looks like only pve people comment in these threads about classes being op.. an engineer can get oneshotted by warrior (if he hits the first stun ofc)
GJ Sensotix, i want to give you some suggestions to improve your recording:
1_ Would be cool add players number involved in every teamfight on minimap. This is very helpful to follow better, like spectators, the game. It means for example in this video (at the beginning): (red color)4vs3(blue color) at mid (little advantage for reds), (red color)1vs1(blue color) at mine. After few seconds, (red color)4vs4(blue color) on mid (blue ranger came after) and when blue necro was stomped, (red color)4vs3(blue color) at mid etc. Maybe you can add this counter very close to node on minimap.
Btw in general i think this would be very good if anet could insert it in spectator mode directly (like dynamic counter for teamfights).
2) Add little arrows in minimap when a guy disengages to show where he wants to go. In general i think dynamic counter is more important but this could be very helpfull too.
3) More slow motions. It’s very very usefull in big teamfights to understand what happened. You used it well to show guardian kb on ress spirits (very unlucky) and the final 100b on svanir after kd.
4) More character’s PoV. It’s linked to previous improvement, i mean, a lot of times big fights are very confusing and it’s not easy to watch from panoramic view. So i think a good balance from slow motions and PoV can be very helpful.
I know it’s not easy to switch on right camera during the fights when you are watching a game, but you need only more practice.

Hey guys this time I have something completely new for you! Since I was invited to join the shoutcaster program which I did I now have the possibility to watch and record rated Top 100 Team Q Tournament matches! I came up with the idea to use these recorded matches to explain the tactics of the different teams (splits, movement, positioning etc) in a video series to help new players and teams!

I really like Your idea about commentary + slow motion for top100 teamqueue matches and other stuff for soloqueue. I think teamqueue, especially in high Tier, is more interesting in a tactical prospective.

I have tried gs/staff but regular shatter, and found it to be really effective. You mentioned the torch to help you re-position against thieves and stuff, but I find staff/gs to actually be a really great combo at the moment.

Please Sensotix if you’re planning on setting this up use some rules like in Distubin’s 1v1 Arena. Just so you can manually tweak what should and should not be allowed in a 2v2 Deathmatch context.
Yes of course I would set up some restrictions since I would really want to see active play and not too many pets fighting each other..also some elites will only be allowed in 1/3 rounds etc I will think of something
The change to confounding suggestions is kittened 50% to a RNG stun is not even worth to be a GM trait, Master trait atleast, and now they’re changing it to just daze duration? who will trait 30 points into domination just for getting a daze duration for for a GM trait? /smh
if that trait stacks with the mesmer runes it will be freaking scary

Just my first ideas on how to give away the gem cards:
Before the regular dueling days in your new arena you can create a dueling tournament where the winner will get the card. It should help promote your arena and channel a bit and also give you some content for the dueling series.
You can give the card(s) to players that will help you making the dueling series by playing the other profession. If the format of the dueling series is going to require a lot of effort of your “enemies” then it would be a nice incentive I guess. Like if they will have to run multiple builds and show their side of the fight, etc.
Also it would be great if you could put the link about the patch notes preview into the description of the video so your subscribers won’t have to look for it.

Funny how ppl think if they played some pvp games they’re qualified. Even with 1’000 games you’re not. This makes 3 games per day, that’s nothing. Also a joke is how ppl only play one class and think they can argue from a objective point of view. You’re not. So how can your suggestions have any weight? They don’t because you have not experienced the whole mode. And that has nothing to do with elitism, it’s just about spent time, effort and dedication.

Something to note if you’re going to try this. When using long duration attacks such as meteor storm, you can jump into tornado form to get a transference of that power boost into your previously casted attack.

sorry forsaker but i agree with djooce here…you know ventari maybe? we used to play necro before the big buff and it worked out pretty well it just took him as much skill as it takes me and others to play mesmer atm
you just had to play really well and there was no place to waste any skills in wrong moments etc
with the necro before the buff ventari also used to win against most people in duels and was a great help in teamfights as well..also he played power necro before (was it meta?- no was it op?- no) it just took skill and made fun but now he is forced to play condition necro since it is impossible to win with power necro against a condition necro team (why is that?- because some classes are just obligatory to have in a team since you will always have a disadvantage against teams using these classes otherwise)
Of course other classes would need a nerf as well in order to keep necro being viable
lol,that cond spike build i use same trait line but for entirely different purposses and i dont have heal sig and utilities are bit different.

It shows me playing warrior for like one of the first times ever in my whole guild wars 2 pvp history completely destroying a thief and an engineer even having my ultimate up after the 2 vs 1
I am annoyed because it was so easy and no matter how well I play my mesmer there would have been no way I could do this with it

Good videos. I’m quite aware this is solo q but it would be nice to hear more about how the team moves, and how you think the losing team could do better.
Any other tips on team play in solo q for players trying to work their way up the ladder would be appreciated.
Hopefully in the future we will see closer matches and it won’t put me up against the players in the top 500 ¬.¬

Will watch when I get home ^^ I was one of the persons who asked to play Engineer but I must say, I didn’t enjoy it very much. It’s probably because you aren’t fluid with him (yet) and you were playing a really tanky build with little damage. This is not meant to bash you, just constructive criticism.
