My armor fish is cooler.
I remember that a few months ago a developer said that every armor we see on an NPCs it will be available for players at some point. So probably in a future patch we’ll get those sets.
I never managed to kill him with less than 3 players. But is kind of normal since is a group event. And yes, pulling him to the surface makes the fight a little bit easier since you have more space to kite.
Mystic forge can output soulbound on acquire items(like weapons, armors, trinkets from karma vendors). Not really a bug. Sure, it would be nice if they would be removed from mystic forge “loot tables”, but is not a bug.
I did the event on my ranger, several times. It is soloable. Sure, sometimes it happens to die, but that’s just when I don’t pay attention to confusion.
All I want is an option to create the final product after discovering it if you have all the materials. Takes just ages to do all the soups and fillings and whatnot before you get to the final product you want. Would that be too hard to implement?
I’d love that. Maybe make it work like in discovery mode. For those who dont know. Let’s say there is a recipe which I haven’t discovered yet which requires 1 ingredient A + 2 ingredient B. Ingredient B is craftable and I know the recipe for it(and also have the materials for it). Currently if I put 1 ingredient A and 1 ingredient B in the discovery slots, the UI will show me that the recipe requires 2 of ingredient B and it will add a “+” button on the ingredient B which will craft one more ingredient B for me if I clock on it. I’d like this to work with known recipes too.
As a guy who just discovered every cooking recipes 2 days ago I think cooking it’s fine as it is. Probably the most fun to use discovery tab. Discovery on other crafting professions is less interesting. There is always ingredient 1 + ingredient 2 + insignia/inscription = armor/weapon.
The only thing I don’t like about cooking is that after the chili peppers exploit all our results have no vendor value so all you can do is either eat them or sell them on tradepost sometimes for 3-5 coper a piece.
How many nodes have you mined the same day? What are you describing sounds like something i noticed on Passiflora resource nodes. Basically after mining around 15(maybe 20) Passiflora nodes all other existing nodes on the map will disappear. I’m thinking there might be a daily cap for every resource node.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Daily-cap-on-Passiflora-nodes-is-a-bug
A few days ago in the morning I was in Southsun Cove to get 2 ori nodes and collect the passiflora nodes. I collected, I think, all passiflora nodes on the map unless I missed 1-2 nodes.
Later the same day I went back to Southsun Cove to get the Rich Ori Node, because I had to wait for the daily respawn, and all the Passiflora nodes respawned, which is natural, because most resurce nodes respawn after a few hours. But this time after I mined 2-3 maybe 4 nodes of Passiflora all other nodes disappeared. I thought maybe I wasn’t paying attention and those were some nodes I missed in the morning, but I repeated the same thing in the last several days and the same thing happens, after I collect about 15 passiflora nodes in 2 gathering sessions, then all nodes left on the map will disappear.
So is this a bug, or is working normally?
Please look at HoM’s White Raven stats as well; iut has lower vitality than other birds in both PvP and PvE.
Also black widow. Both black widow and whire raven have less vitality than their equivalent pets. Also rainbow jellyfish and blue jellyfish are completely identical. they should have different skins.
Tried to look on the front page of the gemstore? There is a sale now. Yesterday we had minis and character slots on sale, today armor skins. People buy gems with their gold and that’s the only reason the amount of gold you can get with 100 gems went up. No one is controlling any rate.
Also, dude, spell checking!
For people who said they don’t have the shirt because they never bought it. Well it was never on sale. The shirt was only obtainable at games conventions and fansites promotions.
Khrysten was the Costume Maker NPC in GW1
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Khrysten
And yes, we need this feature back. Costume maker and Festival Hat maker from GW1 combined into one NPC which can craft us any town clothing item after unlocking them. I already have 75% of a bank tab filled with town clothes.

Karma items are usable in the forge. The only thing you cant do with karma item is salvaging, selling to vendor and trade to tradepost. Also most of them are soulbound on acquire so you cant sent transfer them on alts.
I think the only items not usable in the mystic forge are the weapons from Lionguard Lyns and normal backpacks.
Yes, I got 2 flowers 4 days ago in a 10 minutes run in Southsun. Sold them for 60 silver each and none dropped since. Is rare but it drops.
Here is my character in Superman flying pose.
I have 8 caps. Got one for each of my characters during headstart. Yes, I know they are accound bound and not soulbound <_<
I dont think any of the mystic forge were removed(other than mystic conduit recipe). I’m pretty sure you can still craft the gifts for halloween weapons if you have the ingredients.
I got to say. Nice work on JS defending the castle 3 hours ago. We failed to conquer it even after we reached the lord room.
To keep them relevant. Dyes already have infinite use. Blue Rarity dyes are selling for less than a silver. Make them account bound and we will be selling blue rarity dyes for 1 copper each.
Rollbacks are pointless. An exploiter wont learn his lesson from rollbacks. He will continue to exploit. If he exploits and get rolled back he lost nothing. If he exploits and doesn’t get found is all fine for him. So he will continue to exploit whenever he can because nothing really bad can happen to him.
By fearing of permabans people will actually think twice before exploiting a loophole.
~50 G after I sold my Unbreakable Bell 2 weeks ago.
You can also look for crafting stations. Any Crafting station can give you access to your bank regardless of your crafting professions.
I think it’s known already. Throwing 4 masterwork trinkets(amulets, accessories and rings) of any level in the mystic forge will return nothing.
The wiki was outdated. Check them in game and you will see that they are not identical. White raven has less vitality than Raven while they should be identical and the same thing happens for Black Widow and Jungle Spider; black widow has less vitality.
And there is also Rainbow Jellyfish which was suppose to be identical with the Blue Jellyfish, but have different skin. They are in fact identical, in stats and skin.
So hard to take a screenshot of Foostivoo as a norn.
Happy Wintersday!
Several tries with masterwork trinkets. Apparently it doesn’t matter if the trinkets are from drops, karma merchants or crafted. 4 amulets, 4 accessories(probably 4 rings too, haven’t tested) if they are masterwork they will be removed an no result from mystic forge.
There is an underwater path just west of that waypoint.
Yes, the Black Widow is weaker than the Jungle Spider, but is not the only one.
White Raven should be identical with the Black Raven, but again the White Raven has less vitality.
And a cosmetic bug: Rainbow Jelly fish and Blue Jellyfish should have identical stats, but different skins. They are not different. They have identical stats and the very same skin. They only have different names.
Maybe is bugged on some servers, but I never had a problem finding the key on Aurora Glade. Sure, the key is hard to find since it doesn’t show the text, but I was always able to find it in a few minutes.
The cooking profession was ruined right after the Chilli Peppers incident. Yes, I said incident because I don’t really see it as an exploit. You were using karma to get gold, but karma had to be earned so there wasn’t an infinite loop which could generate infinite gold. And because of that they removed the vendor price from all cooking ingredients and food recipes which is kind of stupid(reminds me of Smiter Boon nerf).
Also shortly after they removed a lot of items from karma vendors. Now most generic karma vendors only sell the same 3 cooking ingredient. They used to sell a lot more stuff closer to release.
So yeah, vendor price for food needs to be back.
Also happened to me too today. 4 Masterwork accessories(all level 80). Nothing in return.
I’d say highly unlikely, but it is possible I guess. Just look at Wiki how many Foostivoos dropped. I can add 60 chests with no Foostivoo q:
Edit: The obvious solution still is to make the stuff tradeable. And Anet knows it if they read the forum.
It happened to some people. They couldn’t wait to get Foostivoo so they crafted the first 3 minies they got. THen opened more chest tring to get the other minies again and they got another Foostivoo. To avoid this the best solution is to wait on crafting your foostivoo until you have 1 of each mini + 3 duplicates. And yes I also got a 2nd Festive Hat from gifts after buying one from the store in the first day.
I found it twice today in the same hour. It’s a very small thing on the floor with a green glow. Pay attention to the interact pop-up which will say “Pick up”.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Matrix_Cube_Key
Wiki has a list of locations where it could spawn.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Draw_out_and_destroy_the_Demagogue%27s_spirit
Because Guild Wars 1 nostalgia. Aurora Glade was my favorite mission back then. :P
Sorry for short answer.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unbreakable_Choir_Bell
The Unbreakable Bell will be back next year. you don’t have to get every item in game the next day after they are introduced. Make the bell craftable and people will farm it. You wont stop the rich people from getting rich if you make it craftable. If they don’t control the bells supplies on the market they will control the crafting material market.
The bell is fine as it is. If you want to have fun singing, the consumable bell is easy enough to acquire.
There were two Jeweler recipes which were too efficient. You could craft a rare trinket using one jewel then salvage the trinket with Black Lion Salvage Kits for jewel + chance of ectos, then use the jewel to craft another trinket and repeat the process.
And now since we’re here and we fixed the “too efficient” recipe, can we fix the “too inefficient” recipe?
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/crafting/Candy-Corn-Silver-Pendant-doesn-t-make-any-sense
Got buried in the crafting forum. TL;DR: you use 3 rare jewels to craft a Masterwork trinket with no jewel on it.
I believe they were originally account bound, and then they were changed to be tradable, but for some reason not all previously opened endless tonics got changed (a bug) and they remain account bound. Sorry
Is not a bug, is working as intended. Yes, endless tonics were account bound once, but they changed that. Any permanent thing can be sold in TP if is not tagged as account bound and was never used. Yes, if you have an endless tonic or an Unbreakable Bell or a Permanent Bank Access if you try them once they will be tied to that account, even if they don’t say account bound in description.
Edit: Or maybe I’m wrong :|

Also look at the jumping puzzle while waiting. You can figure out which way to go when you reach the field of exploding gifts just by looking at which one of them explode while waiting for next turn. And of course you can see where other players miss their jumps so you know where to be careful.
It’s not a group event, is just an event with a boss. I don’t think is even a champion, but just a veteran. Yes, it can be soloed, I did it at level 25. And yes, the skillpoint is behind her.
The equivalent of gems required to craft an item is irrelevant. If you have the option to get gold with real money doesn’t mean you are forced to.
Hard
Undecided
Yes
Yes
Bought a pack of 10 boxes with real money. Mini Snowman
Another pack of 10 with in-game gold. Infinirarium
Another pack of 10 with in-game gold. Nothing.
30 boxes. 2 minies :| And I got a Santa Hat from a box after I bought one in the first day
I reported this with the in-game tool too.
Signet of the Hunt got a buff from 10% to 25% but the passive effect which is applied when the signet is equipped still has the old description which says 10% increased movement speed.
You can’t get them now, but maybe they will be added back in the store next Halloween. We don’t know that yet.
Also the toys are related to the city.
The Grove: Toy Ventari
Divinity’s Reach: Princess Doll
Black Citadel: Toy Soldier
Rata Sum: Toy Golem
Hoelbrak: Toy Griffon
Toy Ventari was added in the store after Tixx arival in The Grove, so today we should get Princess Doll in the store.
My question is: Will the same minies return next year? In store and dungeon reward? Or they are limited to this year?
Plastic <_<
You’ll have enough to make any two you’d like if you play all five days.
Q:
Will ALL minis (GemStore and Dungeons) be available again next Wintersday? Or will they be replaced?
Funny, I was about to ask the very same question.
So, will Tixx’ Wintersday repeat next year(with the same dungeon reward and minies) or we’ll be getting a complete new Wintersday event next year?
Hoelbrak
- West side of the Lake Mourn
- Between Snow Leopard Lodge and Might and Main
- South-East corner of the city in Frost Basin

I think it counts even if they drop the gift before getting downed. I downed a player about 3-4 sec after he dropped the gift and it counted for the achievement.
But it doesn’t really matter, downing 5 carriers in 2 weeks is not really that hard.
