Meh. Nevermind them. I missed that announcement. Was expecting some kind of notification in game too, though.

Yes, I know the time they expire(that’s morning for me). What I wanted to say is that they usually put a 24 hours counter on the item before they remove it. Yesterday when I checked them, there was no such counter so I assumed they will be on sale till Tuesday(assuming were going to put a 24 hours counter on monday morning).

Usually before a discount for a gemstore item expires we get a timer(7 days or 24 hours) so we know exactly when the sale will be over.

Why did they removed the discount on bank tabs and bag slots this morning without warning us? I was about to buy them this evening, just to realize after I got home that there is no point spending my money on gems anymore because the sale is over.

I don’t remember seeing these sets in PvE. I hope there will be available in PvE after April 15th.

Anything that is account bound on acquire:
Tequatl weapons; Wurm armor pieces; fractal weapons – they are RNG based so it kind of shows that you did the required activity long enough to get them(or that you just got very lucky on first try).

Tribulation Mode SAB weapons – not necessary extremely hard to get, but not easy either. They have some kind of value

Dungeon armor/weapon – they kind of lost their value with speed clears and paid runs.

Radiant/Hellfire skins – not much prestige here other than “I played this game for this long”

Meta achievements living story rewards(like gas mask, sclerite karka backpack) – again not hard to get; more like an “I was there” status.

Except for meta achievements rewards, everything else should be still obtainable. SAB skins should be back when they bring SAB back.

2-3 pieces at most. Usually depends on how fast the chest piece breaks. As a medium armor wearer, if my leggings, boots or head piece would break is unlikely I’d notice.

Maybe, but I don’t see how is possible to make a krytan vest or a duelist chest piece for females and suddenly it’s impossible for males.

Almost every pair of leggings in game has a dye channel that colors the leggings belt. Do you know how many chest armor pieces allows you to see the belt on a male medium armor character? Exactly 0.

There are 2-3 armor pieces that end just under your butt, and a few more that are a bit above your knees. Everything else is just a long coat that reaches under your knees.

Why should I bother picking a pair of leggings with an interesting look when that piece of armor wont be visible unless I forget to repair my chest armor?

Is that simple I want a vest, a hoodie, a simple shirt to equip my ranger. The Neo style long trenchcoat gets old quite fast.

More tattoos and more tattoo dyes, yes!

Can you at least make the GW2 Dragon Shirt a chest armor skin? I can ask for refund for all my tonics, but no one is going to refund me a serial key.

We know the first item and the last item in a transmutation chain. Example: You crafted an ascended quiver, you transmuted a quaggan skin over it, then you transmuted a charr plushie skin over the quaggan. You will unlock the charr backpack skin and the quiver skin. You wont unlock teh quaggan skin.

We know you cant unlock skins of items you deleted.

They might be able to give us skins based on historical achievements, but we don’t know if this will happen or not.

The variation of stats wasn’t really a problem for me. I never needed mroe than 3 stats sets: a celestial set for general purpose, a zerker set for dungeons and a soldier set for WvW. So that’s not the problem for me.

The skins was my problem: if I wanted to try a new skin I had to either overwrite the current look(not an option if the skin is no longer available becasue I dont want to destroy it) or craft a new weapon/armor with the same stats therefore wasting inventory space. Wardrobe will solve this problem for me.

My guess is that once you unlock the skin, you can equip it at any time from the hero panel using transmutation charges. But if you go to the HoM instance and talk with the NPC you can get a skin that you can apply it for free.

At least I hope so.

So as a ranger I have to stick to my long coats and forget of ever seeing my pants, because they are covered all the time by any chest piece I’m wearing. Great.

Also refunds wont make me happy. I don’t need gems. I wont be more happy after patch arrives because I’ll get 2000-3000 gems for my refunded tonics. I want to be able to mix and match them. Also my Dragon Shirt. That was a serial key. Who’s going re refund me that?

If they dont want to make town clothes as armor skins because they dont want to ruin class identity(all heavy/light/medium look the same with town clothes) then what about outfits? Every class looks the same in an outfit. Why can’t we look the same with our shirts and pants too?

If they make individual town clothes piece into armor they can get the male medium wearers to stop crying about their long coats. The hoodies, vests and the GW2 shirt are exactly what I ask for my medium armor; something that doesn’t cover/hide half of my leggings.

Tonics are pointless: extra inventory space: no dyes, not useable in combat, and have to be reapplied when they expire/get removed, oh and they will likely wont be useable with the Halo/horn tonics, because they refuse to work with any tonic.

Please don’t make individual pieces into endless tonics. Tonics are bad: it means it will take inventory space; it means I will have to reapply it when it expires, when I change maps, when it gets removed; it means I cant combine them. My main character is a male medium armor wearer and town clothes like the GW2 Shirt, the hoodies, the vests or the shirts were my only hope to get rid of the same constant look given by long coats.

These items barely clip with anything. Please make them armor skins just like the town clothes headgears.

It will work just like it works now. Transmute a skin over a legendary and you have purple rarity item which can swap stats and look like the skin you have transmuted on your legendary.

Transmute a legendary over a weapon and you have the same weapon with the same stats, not being able to swap the stats, but looks like your legendary.

I really hope the single item town clothes are staying as outfits. GW2 Dragon shirt and the vests are my only chance to get rid of long coats on my ranger.

You have 2 legendary rarity weapons and you can change stats on them at any time. Others will one purple and one exotic or ascended or whatever item they are transmuting.

I wonder if the quote from the ascended piece is a Pacific Rim reference or just a coincidence.

Children escort is now the equivalent of Aetherblades spawns during Scarlet’s Invasions. Compared to the other escorting events, the Children and the Lionguards are moving a lot slower. Because of this now we have 4-5 commanders and a huge zerg escorting the children over and over again to farm the mobs which spawn. This hurts the other map events causing miasma and defend rally point events to fail resulting in a low citizen saved count.

Make the NPCs run faster so you actually have to keep up with them and not just stay behind and farm mobs. So people might actually spread out.

According to yesterday patch notes Dawn of the Season achievement should be fixed now for those who didn’t unlocked it more than 5 weeks ago. However, for me(and others), the achievement is still locked to this moment, even that I played WvW every week.

According to patchnotes, those who didn’t got the achievement more than 5 weeks ago should be able to get it now. But the achievement is still not unlocked for me.

Same problem this morning. We had a small group and actually managed to get her to 5% when the timer ran out. I agree that is not fun to have a boss die in 2.5 seconds when there are 40 people killing it, but if that means is impossible to kill it with 5-8 players because it scales way too high, I don’t like it.

Bouquet of Roses it’s a toy item. They are equipped when you are wearing your town clothes.

The tossed bouquet it’s a bundle item, like kites, balloons, teleportation gun etc. They are not town clothes items. It’s like asking why Volcanus doesn’t give you the skills from elementalist summoned greatsword.

Yes, they said precursor can drop from them when they added laurels in game.

The only thing that makes sense to me about ascended weapons being account bound is that no ascended item can be obtained with money. You need to actually play the game for them: you need to do fractals for pristine relics or daily achievements/gather achievement points for laurels to get rings, you also need laurels to get amulets, and you need laurels or guild commedations for accesories. Backpacks require vial of condensed myst so they also cant be obtained just by spending money. The only exception for this rule is Triforge Pendant which can be bought from TP then crafted using items which are tradeable(and that only because the changed the recipe once account bound walled was added in game).

I don’t want to remember the name of every character from every good commander from my server to know who to follow in WvW. So, no unless the make it display the account name instead of character name.

And 2nd: not until they either disable the commander icon in PvE or give us an option to hide commander icons in PvE.

And I’m sure they will release more codes for those who didn’t attend at gamescom/pax. the Dragon T-shirt was also distributed at PAX but later they made code giveways on various community fansites like reddit or guildwars2guru etc.

Enchanted Broom and Scepter of Thorn.

They are both masterwork quality and are recognized as masterwork items when you forge masterwork armor/weapons. I don’t think there is anyone who wants to forge them for a random green weapon and I doubt they are part of any secret recipe we don’t know yet.

Bouquet of Roses and Fancy Winter Crystal Scepter are also masterwork and they don’t appear in mystic forge menu.

I really don’t want to accidentaly forge them.

Came here to ask the same question. For example ecto only drops from Level 68 rare/exotics. Is dark matter level dependant like ecto?

Yes i was logged in on the character which didn’t received the gift when thy started sending them. Relogging didn’t fixed it.

I made 5 character in the first week. 4 of them received gifts. The oldest one(made in the first minutes of server going live) still has no gift.

Happened to me too, if you reach 200g by opening boss lootbags the achievement wont trigger, but if you spend the tiniest amount of gold or sell one item to merchant you will get it.

Regarding your birthday gift, if you started a character on the day the game came out then you should expect that character to receive the birthday gift in 2-3 days. The game released on August 28, 2012, so there are just a few more days to go before it will be 1 year from the day the game went live.

If you were in “headstart” when that character was made, then it would be 12 months old now, I believe. But perhaps Anet will begin granting the birthday gifts going by the official game release date and “headstarters” will get their gifts on that date just as with everyone else that started a character on day 1 of launch.

And why would i get Birthday gifts on 4 other characters, most of them will be one year old in the following week actually and my main character, which /age says he’s 12 months still got nothing?

Same problem here. 12 month on my most played character and first one created, a ranger; no gifts on him. 4 other characters all received gifts, some of them even 11 months old.

Just don’t transmute it.

I haven’t tried, but I think it’s safe to say that you can transmute it as long as you keep the stats and not the skin. If you transmute an Aetherblade Hammer skin on Colossus you can still forge it into legendary(losing the aetherblade skin of course). Works the same with back items. If you craft an ascended back item and then transmute a back skin on it, you can still craft the infused version with it losing the transmuted skins in the process.

Was sitting in an EU overflow 10 minutes before it started. Fireworks appeared. No acheivement.

There should be punishment for leavers. Right now if your team gets behind with something like 6 points some playes will leave so you’re even more in disadvantage. And new players will just enter and leave becasue they are in teh losing team.

A 30 minutes block from joining any dragon ball game would be great.
