Having a few skills is nice, especially to be able to read what kind of combo to expect in pvp (a GS Warrior for example). But there is truly nothing wrong with having a variety of skills. It makes everyone a little different! We both may be a GS Warrior… but I’m a COOLEr GS-warrior. Why? Because it satisfy me better with the skills I’ve selected.

But what do I want more than more skills?! I want MORE Weapons! I want 2-hand axe, and a pike/spear. >=) Want to run that pike up some ogre champ’s behind!

What if I’m a 50 year old man who only have 2 hours to play this game per week? I have a family to feed and take care of, not to mention spend time with. I love PvP, but because of the limited of time I have, I would be FAR BEHIND in skills compare to people who have 168 hours per week to play this game.

Duel in pvp. I see it pointless in PvE. I can imagine people asking me for a challenge every second in PvE…. People are jealous of me these days for some reasons… no joke 0_0

Yes, Warrior is my favorite too. Before this game came out, I chose a thief…. then i became a ranger…. then finally, the Warrior! My thief (pvp) is crazily powerful as always, but tooo many people rolling with a thief in PVP these days, so I lost my taste for it.

Ranger was fun for me because they could hold a torch. They weren’t as strong and fast as a thief, but their pet helps me take on several of champions alone. In pvp, i find them kind of complicating, though my good friend helped me find a decent build for it. =b

Warrior, the class that is considered useless in PvP! I think not! Sure, we don’t have too much big range of AOE, but I love it to death! I like charging in and killing people and shouting out my own name before killing people. In 1v1, I rarely get defeated but it DOES happen. Love this class to death! =) It is currently my favorite and I really like my armor (the color I chose is just hot).

I understand the game would get boring for some people. This game ISN’T for everyone. And everyone should acknowledge that. Just because one guy says, “This game is boring!”, another shouldn’t troll on him. Instead, the other guy should say:

I’m sorry that this game is boring for you. I hope you would find the game that would make you really happy and keep you going for years to come. But don’t forget, my guild friend, Guild Wars 2 is always here for you. =) You bought it, you have no monthly fee, so feel free to drop in sometimes when you feel like it.

This game can also “burn” people out. You play too much of it, it feels like a chore rather than game. My suggestion is to take a break and do something else. The main point is… enjoy your life and don’t stay somewhere that bores your mind out. =b

Alright bums, this is how I HAVE FUN!!

I don’t rush through the area to get 100% map completion. I fight almost every hostile npc I see, and I take my time killing them; I watch the fight thoroughly, as if it was a movie. The way I move my camera, watching my character fighting a big ogre and doing cool dodges, shield bash, hold up my shield to block is just pure awesome! I enjoy the combat animation, and the exploration!

And since this is an MMO-RPG, I run around bragging to everyone that I am a Gate Guard who has been laid off, while saving their burned-out bums from getting eaten, beaten, or mugged! (Warrior)

I run into WvWvW! Though my server usually wins anyways, it is not about winning to me! I do solo-operations! I conquer camps on my own and run away after seeing 5+ people chasing me! (Ranger)

I go PvP and burst on everyone, killing people almost within instance and trolling them!! Then jumping on their body! Only rarely have I ever got beat and sat on by some dimwit person (Thief)

I make new characters! Try them out! And Delete them if they are boring to me!! (Ele, Necro, Engineer, Mesmer) I take my joy of this game to its highest potential!! I am SIMON, Baby!!

First of all, I was wondering if they would ever include capes? Did A-net say they would or would never? I want to make my warrior look hot!

Secondly, does anyone here (warriors/guardians) wear their helmet? I can’t find my character looking good with helmet, especially since he looks bald the instance i put it on him. My warrior have long hair, and with helmet, it looked as if he just shaved himself bald. Do you guys feel this is a problem? Would you like wearing a hat with your hair still visible??

How the hell can anyone die by that? My warrior took it out in 2 seconds…

Loaded with whole bunch of run…. Loaded with most “dodge” skills (Lightnign reflex, whirling Def, Natural Strides, etc.)… Loaded with almost all the condition. (Burn, Poison, Bleed, Blind, cripple)…. Ever tried a Touch Ranger? Super fun. Energy Usage?? Max out expertise and cut your energy usage in half!

I kinda agree… hehe. My ranger wearing the witch hat i just found turns bald… feels kind of awkward. Plus, i think my toon would look way more handsome if the hair i had selected is there under that hat

OP forgot to mention

- Bots shoot at enemy (on the complete opposite side of the wall) until their pet finishes it off for them
- Bots instantly teleports from one location to another, short and far distance.
- Run toward the wall and keeps running toward it (even though they are stuck) because it is part of their “pathway” and not to mention about 15 others following them onto the wall for another 20 seconds before switching course.
- They all attack at the exact same location, move the same path, and doesn’t Jump. LOL

When ranger falls and take 50% less damage, he drops a muddy terrain…. I use this, but it makes me laugh a lot. It feels as if my character just crapped in his pants before he landed, causing it to fly all over the ground. What do you guys think? Is it effective trait?

Ranger all the way! Underpower or not, its the adventure that counts!

About PvE, it depends on the person. I am the adventurous type. I drag people into my party out of the blue and force them to walk with me into the cave of doom. It’s my habit, but they all enjoy it.

Go to lion arch, talk to the Karma Weapon Shops. There is a hidden Karma Weapon Shop guy that sells Pirate Style weapons… =) Not my type, but it’s real nice. ALso one more, but i forgot the naem of it… Vigil?? Or something? Those are Karmas… WEapon with unique skins =b

I agree. If I paid for something like this (the key), I think I should pay it once… Not 5 times for each of my characters… It’s kind of unfair dont’ you think? Since everything already basically revolves around Gem Store

All I have to say is:

In GW1, no matter who I was, I could use any weapon…. The only thing i couldn’t do is use it to its fullest potential (with skills).

I play a Thief, and my goodness how much I wish I could wield a torch/Long bow. With a longbow, even if you just give me the Number1 skill, I would be happy. I dont need 2 3 4 or 5. I just want to be able to wield all the weapons liek I did in GW1, even if I just have the AUTO-ATTACK. GW1, a warrior could use a staff… only auto attack was its only effeciency, but it was FUN! I use it and run around like a crazy ape and had a blast

With my Graet Guidance and Experience from GW1 tomb run (during the time when 1 monk, 2 necro, 5 ranger Barrage/pet was used and before Solo Assassins), I pulled the heck out of all the group and was like: “JUMP THEM! Jump Them! Woman, shoot him!”

I take my time, change my clothes to different outfits, dye my outfit in multiple colors, use weapons that I dont even like. I ENJOY my adventure. Look for somtehing to do. And if there is nothing, enjoy halloween. Else, do something that you like (that isn’t gw2) hehehe

I have 6 Hard Apple Ciders in my bag, and I love it! It doesn’t do anything to me, no effects at all but getting drunk, but its the thought of my character drinking after a long hard battle against the Troll Champion that really cools me off…

However, when I drink the apple cider, the sound it makes is like “the sound of flipping a page of a book”. =) Maybe a simple Gulp or GLUCK or something will be more satisfying? What you guys think?

Yea, with a game that was release about 2 months ago? Really? I trust A-net will bring justice to the reward system. If they did a grand job with it in GW1, what makes you think they’ll fail doing it in GW2? They are focusing on many other stuff at the moment. Just watch and see GW2 grow =)

What I do instead of weraing NICE armors and legendary ones is when I get bored of it, I wear weak ones! Ugly ones even. I just like the new flavor to it. you eat pizza everyday, you get tired of it. YOu wear same clothes every day, you get tired of it. Time to change that. Including weapons and skills and traits. EXPLORE people. This game is about that.

I love it, and I love the adventure. I make up my own adventure, not following what GW2 says. I even drag ppl into my team and we go out and solo a champion troll together. Usually the number of 3 people (including me) take out a champion. It is a LONG hard battle, but when we succeed, even if the reward sucks, the challenge was more than enough for me.

Is it possible to turn/hide your pet permanently? I just think it would be nice to have the option of whether i want to venture alone or with a pet…

Seeing those bots running around with the ranger/shortbow naked with a bear just got me sick of animals…
