Hi everyone, with the new patch, once again there is no Carrion ascended gear, so what would be my next option? Rabid? Apothecary? Please help, or should I just wait it out and hope for ascended gear?

I am really disappointed that once again, we don’t get Carrion stats. I mean, how hard is it? I know have to wait what, another month, to hopefully get them??

Can someone do me a favor? I have to leave now so I won’t be able to check the new ascended gear for like 6 hours, could someone like tell me (in this forum) if carrion ascended gear is now available? Thanks.

P.S I mean when the patch comes out.

I know it hasn’t been said in the https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/february-2013/ that we will be getting more types of ascended amulets/rings cough carrion cough does that rule out the possibility that they could be adding more.

Also, do you think we will ever see more types of cough carrion cough ascended rings/amulets?

It is a common misconception that this game is about ‘guilds having wars’ and not the true meaning behind the name of the game.

Out of all the time consuming things on a legendary, refining ingots is definitly the most time consuming part.

Honestly, a forum post isn’t the most effective way to find a open one, if someone knows of a website or tool that would be much easier to use, greatly appreciated.

Nowadays I tend to avoid this sub-forum, as it either makes me angry or hurt myself face palming.

In all seriousness, I don’t know why we get so much hate, it’s just stupid. I mean, people don’t seem to realise HOW MUCH EASIER it is to battle a profession that you have actually played.

Me v Warrior before I played one = Difficult
Me v Warrior after I got one to 80 and had experience with it = Easier

It only works on like bosses.

I personally really liked the change, it’s gone from a pretty boring kite fest to one where you are actively need to be finding the Assassin’s and killing them, didn’t find it too difficult, good job.

Well that is why you only have to do 5/6 of the achievements, if you wish not to do that one, by all means, no one is forcing you to.

It doesn’t seem to be working… I get a ghost down to 25% health, get a guardian to put down a combo field and I heartseeker through it and finish the ghost, but it doesn’t count, any help?

I don’t really understand, didn’t the venoms already take down one charge if they missed?

I dunno really? I mean, I can see how it could make some things harder, but I guess people are just going to have to play a bit more carefully, which I like. It will bring a new sort of ‘approach’ to boss fights.

By Robert Hrouda: It’s one of those human things to do something with the path of least resistance and danger, especially when there is a reward at the end.

I think the same applies with the whole 4 warrior 1 mesmer group, people are just naturally going to pick the quickest path, with the quickest group.

All the complaints about the legendary short bow are so amusing.

Shooting rainbows to kill your foes would be hilarious and is definitely on my list if they ever make Lodestones less difficult to obtain.

It depends on what gift you need, the only gifts you need to buy/can buy are the ones related to crafting professions like Gift of Wood/Metal and stuff.

It isn’t just Karka, and it is a really annoying problem and I think it should get fixed, ANY channeled attack will hit you if they begin to channel it whilst you are still visible. Like a Warriors Rifle Burst skill, Killshot, you see them start charging it up, so you pop stealth, but NOOOOOOO it still hits you. wth.

It’s one of two things, lag or hacking. I am going to prove why it wasn’t just “Oh he was using blah blah weapons and legitamently teleported”

It went Unload > Teleport > Unload.

At 0:05 you can clearly see him cast unload (this proves that he is using P/P)

OH BUT WAIT HE COULD THEN SWITCH TO P/D TO USE THE TELETHINGY!!#%^!

No, because after he teleports, he then casts unload again. And quite clearly there was never a 10 second window for his weapon swap recharge to finish.

Alright, can someone tell me where Orr is though? I’ve heard it mentioned a few times, but I’ve never known where it is.

Orr is riiiiiight down south of the explorable map, if you open up your big map, and you know the name of the actual like areas (Kryta, Ascalon, Maguuma Jungle ect.) look for the one saying ‘Ruins of Orr’. Now, there are three zones in there, and you can only get into the 2nd zone from the first one, and can only get into the 3rd zone from the second. To get into the first one though, you must go to the bottom left corner of Mount Maelstrom. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mount_Maelstrom. Any more questions feel free to ask.

The norn will be the last to go. Tough as they are, they would not last under the firepower of the charr which has taken over the tech of the humans and asura.

1. I don’t think the Charr would be smart enough to take over the Asura tech.
2. What about the massive amount of damage that would have been dealt towards the Charr through invading the Humans (who would hold out against the Charr from Divinities Reach’s walls) and the Asura (with the massive amount of golems, and other crazy things the Asura have).
3. If I am interpreting you correctly, the Charr (in your scenario) would be the offensive? Anyway, the Norn are used to the coldness of the Shiverpeaks, whereas the cold would damper the Charr’s spirits, and we all know that moral is a important thing in war cough world v world cough.

OK, I was on the quest ‘What the eye beholds’ and whilst we were looking at all the stuff the eye had previously seen, I went right up close to the eye and managed to screenshot it, how does this make sense? We are on a flying ship, how is it possible for this to be it’s reflection? To me, it looks like a forest on the horizon with the sun rising/setting.

Have any other alternative solutions?

In the future I’ll keep any named shields I receive until I get 4. I’ve heard chances are better with named exos.

Arenanet have stated that named weapons do not give more of a chance.
