I cant even fight back. They sit up there keeping me in combat so i cant even get up to them. This is not pvp. They have the entire puzzle on lock down because of this.

It’s 100% griefing.

Mesmer all the way.

Why do you allow, and encourage players to grief others in wvw puzzles?

currently in EB there are 3+ players creating arrowcarts and balistas at the end room of the puzzle killing players so they cant complete it.

Why is this allowed? Why is this encouraged?

The legend is up by 23 more gold today.

Wasn’t perfect, but a lot better than some other holiday events.

I absolutely hated how they handled the skins.

I’m saving every penny I earn trying to get this precursor of the TP because I don’t think throwing staffs into the Forge is a very smart idea.

Anyway how is someone supposed to afford one of these things if the price keeps on rising 10+ gold a day?

I have no problem working towards my goal, but when the goal keeps shifting further and further I start to get discouraged. I fear by the time I have all my gift components It’ll be at 1000+ gold.

I’m really struggling to make 3-4 gold a day here. I can’t keep up with the climbing prices.

More importantly, did Clinton get his story quest finished?

Why do you need better stats? There are plenty of cosmetic rewards to aim for at 80.

Actually, it is sexual harassment. If you said this to someone in a work environment you would be fired and hit with a lawsuit.

I love the fact that he’s timid and unsure of himself, it’s pretty realistic actually. I think ANet did a good job with him.

I also though the voice acting was bad. Some characters were okay..

I really hated how only the characters that get killed off were fun and interesting, and all the others were boring. Why not make me care about ALL the characters, not just the ones that are going to die?

I agree it should be punished but how do you know it isn’t being done?

Alot of people say Eles are strong and stuff but I had a hard time on mine as well. I quit my ele at level 50 and never looked back. I guess I just didn’t ‘get’ the class or something. So, maybe it’s not you, maybe it’s the class. Perhaps you just dont gel with it like I didn’t. I rerolled mesmer and I’ve destroyed everything from 1-80 and into all the Orr zones.

Also, if you want to add me to friends please do. If you don’t mind popping over to my server when you need help I’m more than happy to oblige. I’m online msot of the day running around in those zones.

If you don’t enjoy doing dungeons then don’t do them. You can skip the monthly if you really want to.

Do it with a friend or two, or solo with some awesome music to jam to! :P

Honestly, you don’t have to have 100 map completion if you’re not having fun doing it.

I played wow for 7 years and I can honestly say I prefer not having to worry about gear. I love being able to go toe to toe with anyone in WvW and having a fighting chance.

There is plenty of incentive to play still. The main reason is: it’s actually fun. There is nothing forcing me to play so I actually want to play more. There are plenty of goals to work towards but I think my personal incentive is working towards cosmetic upgrades and bettering myself as a player instead of my gear.

So you have to experience a part of the game you don’t normally frequent. Who knows, maybe you’ll enjoy yourself. Skip the monthly if it’s such a huge deal to you.

Legendaries wee added for ppl who enjoy the grind, they are not mandatory because of the philosophy arenanet had in mind.

If your only reason for playing the game is to be rewarded then you’re playing the wrong game.

Id MUCH RATHER have hair clipping then no hair.

Tear updo option was lovely as well.

Orr can be a little bit frustrating if you’re trying to run through mobs to get to pois and vistas. I suggest killing your way there. Not only will you die less, but you’ll make good money too.

Also, no one is forcing you to be in Orr. If you feel you’re not ready for it stay in the lower zones for now. The whole game is end game.

I’m confused because..

1 Nothing in this game is mandatory.
2 There are so many more options to gain xp then any other MMO on the market.

Badges dropping on the ground is a terrible, terrible design choice. The badges should show up in your inventory. Rest of the loot can remain on the ground.

The ground drop method steeply penalizes melee classes that always have to be moving around or risk death.

I dont even want to know how many badges I’ve left behind because I was running for my life.

I think badges AND loot should go straight into your bags. My Guild leader got dusk in WvW 2 days ago. Makes me wonder what else I’ve left behind on the field…

I would MUCH RATHER have clipping issues with my hair then be bald. I know I’m not alone of this.

I think its fun. Still haven’t beaten it yet tho. :P

Need 500 badges towards legendary staff.

Badges are account bound correct? maybe ill just make a warrior and level her up through wvw?

Thanks for all the replies guys. I’m sort of bummed hat I wont be able to use staff in wvw since its my fave weapon, but I appreciate all the advice. Guess I’ll pick up a GS.

so if im grouped with guildies and im using a staff, they kill guys and ill get badges too?

So, basically i can only play 1 way/build/weapon in wvw or i wont get credit? Even if im currently helping my teammates by giving them boons? That really sucks. I thought I was gonig to be able to play my character however I wanted.

Apparently I don’t do enough to warrant badges as a reward?

The badges rewards are inconsistent . Those of us with condition builds / support builds aren’t getting rewarded as often as those with burst dmg builds.

I don’t even want to know how many badges I’ve left behind because I’m too busy trying to stay alive to loot.

Also, I feel like when I’m supporting my team I have less chances to get badges. And those of us with condition builds seem to get screwed out of badges as well.

Honestly feel like badges need to be redone.

After carefully reading your points I can honestly say this game is not for you.
And it sounds to me like there is another game that may suit your needs.

How about allowing us to see more than 1 guild chat. I understand limiting how many guilds we can represent to 1, but I would like to be able to chat wit h more than 1.

A lot of guilds feel dead because no one ever represents.

No clue why people are rushing to 80.

Also no clue as to why they feel there’s nothing to do once there get there. You crafted your way to 80? Why not go out in the world and experience the game now?
