I stopped playing for now. It’s not about that I am playing for rewards only. But then I see the super cool new items in Gem Store, and message saying how much gems will cost you to buy one gold and 50 gold, I want to throw up.

If this was Gem Store bug, it would be fixed in few hours.

No, the last money Anet saw from me was the money I paid for the game at start.

What will you do with WvW season 2 tickets? Merchant that will trade stuff for it should get into game in ~24 hours.

I still cannot decide which weapon should I buy and also if go for 1 mistforged + 1 hero or 4 hero weapons. I don’t find the particle effects so cool.

I think it’s great we can make only one mistforged weapon for now. Just image how would it feel when you see everyone running around with 4-5 of them. If you are lucky enough, you will have one and you have to choose wisely. Otherwise it would be just another skin that everybody has…

I am not saying you are wrong, just want to help OP. I had 30-40 tries with scepter before I realised I won’t do it. When I switched to GS/sword+focus, I only needed few tries. It was so much easier. But I am sure it depends on build as well…

I have mix of zerk and knight gear with DPS traits.

Use sword+focus/greatsword. Make sure you have retaliation up for as much time as you can. Have virtue of jusctice traited so you blind nearby foes with it + dont forget you have GS #3, sword #2 and focus #4, use them!

At start of phase two run for few seconds to gain distance from shades, Liadri will soon get to you, dps for few seconds and run. Repeat. Also dont forget the red circles appear in this order: 1,3 → 2,4 → 1,3 → 2,4. Use your focus #5, renewed focus, virtue of courage and shelter to block the circles, or simply dodge out of them. Never use all your endurance, keep 50% every time instead for the panic situations.

Buy exotics with some valueable rune inside (Traveler), use Blacklion kit. Sell rune and ecto, enjoy your 1-2g profit and keep collecting Dark Matter. I made much gold like this before I got bored and ended with tons of Dark Matter as well.

When will we see this in game?

WvW != PvE, why can’t we have our own setup for WvW then?

Nerf easy content that many people farm every day. Yep, that’s definetely the way we should go.

And the event does not require as many people as you think, just can’t have too many players like you.

Actually this has never been confirmed. We only know that opponents are chosen according to overall server rank points, but we have no idea how will they deal with final standings.

The problem is that Anet ignore serious problems and rather than solving them hide or delete threads.

I really can’t think of worse solution than swiss tournament – anet edition. Not a single word on how they gonna determine final standings, especially if 2 or more servers got equal points. If they choose number of 1st places as criteria, it will be extremely unfair.

Atm it’s better to lose on purpose rather than fighting for 2nd place, just to get easier opponents and get 1st place in next week, which is bs and they should’ve foreseen it.

@Dhampyr: another proof Anet has no idea what is good for WvW tournament and even dare to call it improvement.

I don’t think you understand. Gunnar’s Hold beats Drakkar Lake every time they meet during Spring Tournament. BUT:

Gunnar’s finish week in 2nd place, while Drakkar falls to easier opponents because of the loss against Gunnar’s.
Drakkar gets easier opponents next week and finish 1st, while Gunnar’s is 2nd again.
Drakkar moves back to harder opponents.

At the end, Drakkar will finish the season with let’s say 4x 1st place, Gunnars with 1x 1st place. Even if they lost every single match against us, they will be placed higher according to your logic.

Cool, but how will you deal with this after the last week? I am from Gunnar’s Hold and it really bothers me, because it looks like we will finish 2nd in all comming matchups. According to this, we will finish at overall 5th place, but we will have many 2nd places while only one 1st place.

At the end, Drakkar Lake will end with more 1st places than Gunnar’s Hold even they lost all matches against GH. If the final results are determined by number of 1st places, DL will be higher than GH, which is stupid and makes no sense.

I for once understand people asking for certain amount of AP in LFG tool. There is much better chance to meet player with knowledge of the dungeon if he has 2-3k+ achievements, while 1k and less is most likely someone who has no idea what to do.

What makes me mad is that when you ask for experienced people and someone with 500 AP joins…

Pretty much this. Once again they prove that they don’t care about their community anymore. Winners known days before competition even started, what kind of joke is this?

I remember when I was farming TA dungeon back in late 2012 I made nice money selling Onyx Cores that used to drop there a lot. I took few months long break and when I came back, prices were down at few silvers, pretty much at same price like today.

Why cores and lodestones dropped in price so much since January ’13 (excluding charged ones)?

Isn’t it obvious? I mean, think about it for a while. We have inventory and bank slots discounted, they want you to buy them! Go and support your favourite game.

I really enjoyed WvW for the first week of new season, but now against Gandara, there is pretty much nothing to do. You can try hard during the day just to wake up tomorrow and see everything in green color. No fun, no motivation… thank you for free transfers before season 2 I guess?

I though I can get precursor from Mystic Toilet. I have never been so wrong.

If you are from EU, yes, many people are moving to Gandara. Because it’s for free and it was pretty good opponent in the past. I somehow don’t see it as advantage, because with the number of people trying to get into wvw, you will have hard time completing season2 meta.

Leave a dying server I would say and pick one of the free servers. Personally I would not go to Gandara, you won’t get much space for WvW there.

We really need to bring this to attention of Anet. Not because I have many of them waiting to make money, actually I have less than 10 rings unused, but overall I think it’s something that would make people play the game and especially Fractals much more.

Because there still should be a penalty for sloppy or in-over-your-head play (and any other reason why you get defeated). Surely you don’t want to make GW2 players any lazier than they seem to be already?

I feel your pain OP, we are on the same boat. I have lost over 1600 gold already. People usually tell me “you could have had 3 precursors for that money”. True, but they forget I did not spend them all at once. Playing since headstart and trying to get one from very beginning.

I think forging precursors is one of the worst mechaninc I have ever seen, people that got one of it used no tactic, they just got lucky. Even the research with 23 precursors crafted is useless, you can spent the same amount and find yourself with empty hands.

Don’t forget that if people wouldn’t use forge, there would be ~90% less precursors available, so telling “don’t complain and stop gambling” is really not a solution.

What can we do with all the gold wasted… well, 2 options, keep trying and possibly rage quit or gather enough gold to buy one off the TP.

It’s not only about the rings anymore. As I mentioned above, there are many items that have no real use once you got what you needed them for. And on top of this, more and more are comming.

I though the gear won’t get damaged anymore. Well now it makes more sense

What will happen with Repair Canisters after april patch hits? Sorry if they mentioned it, I did not find anything.

I have to say I don’t like the way they make these changes. First, they took glory boosters away. OK whatever, we got enough time to spend most of them. But what will happen to repair canisters? I got many of them and surely won’t use all of them before the patch arrives.

One day, they will realise that legendary weapons are not good for this game and remove them

More than a year passed since we got ascended tier, yet there is no real option what to do with leftovers. I won’t tell much more, because everything has been said already, just reminding.

Empyreal, Dragonite… pretty much the same, we keep stacking them, because someone from Anet team once said “don’t throw them away!” and we are all just waiting… I know that you want to people spend gems on more invenetory and bank space, but I am sure there are better ways to achieve this. If you could make them tradeable or at least give us way to change them to gold → something similar to skill points would be amazing. That’s all I am asking for. Currently we have so many items that have no use once we get what we needed them for.

There are lot of ways how to combine items to get precursor… well, rather chance to get it. I got lost now and need help – what happens if I mix (exotic!) 3 harpoons and 1 axe? Will I get random exotic weapon with chance for precursor?

I am also stuck on loading screen (I choose my character and press Play). Everything was working yesterday.

I did not manage to play for few last days of previous update and now I found out that I have about 10 keys left. I see Scarlet Lair is still there, but boxes are empty. Is that intended? Will we get one more chance to spend the keys?

Nevermind, I just logged in and village was attacked by Brand. I swear there were no NPCs around before, they probably just spawned there out of nothing, because both villages has been empty before. I just finished escort, now I have to wait for attack to make the NPC sell me pet. Thank you anyway.

For two days, I am trying to obtain Ogre Pet Whistle from Iron Marches map. According to this map http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/gw2-ogre-pet-whistle-2.jpg and guide from dulfy, I was seeking for him on both places several times on various servers, but couldn’t find him.

Gladefall run is always destroyed with no NPC standing there and in Ebbing Heart Run there is no NPC waiting for escort. I did several events that could possibly affect this, but no success.

Could anyone explain me, what exactly should I do in order to spawn the NPC? Or maybe it died during the escort? Anyway, I ran through that area and didn’t find anything.

What makes me worried though, why such talented people as these posters above from Desolation have killed wurm only two times yet? Really, you guys can obviously play with closed eyes with many unexperienced pugs running around trying to level up and still kill it without trying. How comes only 2 kills yet?

I also got my precursor few days ago after more than one year of trying. It’s still loss of more than 500g. I guess you need to be extremely lucky to win against random in this game.

Today (this is not the first time it happened) I was trying to join my party member in his overflow, so I right clicked him, but there was no option to join his overflow. You might remember this was used a lot for Fractals when you had to be in same server/overflow.

I am 100% sure he was in overflow, so option to join his was supposed to pop up.

Any ideas how to fix this, because it’s getting very annoying.

The simple fact that you have to be invited to the correct overflow server is prooof enough. And then there’s the elitists in this thread saying it’s ok if a content is only doable by 10% of the players.

I think Achievement system is totally fine right now. If you want to be best at something, you must give your best to achieve it.

So I came back to game after MF precursor fiasco in december, sold my leftovers from bank. When I realised what patch brought us (another 2 hours waiting for some greens, yay!) I said myself I really have nothing to lose and bought 64 exotic axes. 15th forge was my first successful try in MF (after more like 1000g spent over the last ~18 months). It is still one big failture for me, but at least I got something to play with.
