I’d love to see a Guild Wars sequel.
More like RIP every single build but zerker.
Anyone with half a clue can see why conditions are completely broken.
It’s basic math, really.
Of course, nobody wants those nasty RPG elements on a MMORPG.
To which meta do you refer to, because I feel like this is about the ferocity change. Don’t worry, zerker gear is still BiS for PvE.
But all the other ferocity sets are statistically destroyed.
Enjoy Gear Wars 2.
Reddit is certainly more useful for constructive threads

I am amazed that some people can already pronounce ferocity a fail just 6+ hours after a patch. Truly amazing……wish I had powerz like you all.

You can learn them.
I understand that all these kiddies cry now with their dps toy gone.
Calling names over TCP/IP, how juvenile...
Actually people should be forced to play 60 days GW1 before doing this crap to Gw2.
I played several years, got all the swords in all coop missions, explored all the maps, did all the dungeons and reached tombs rank 9+, gladiator 4+ and champion 3+ titles in not one but two different accounts.
Now...
Why would I be happy about a patch that made my favourite activity virtually impossible to organise, made PvP even more of joke, removed RPG features that I liked and messed up my gear (yay Gear Wars 2) while giving ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return?
Please explain to me, I’d really love to know.

Because they wanted to have faceroll combat.
Sick frag m829347692.
I rather pay for a full price expansion (through gem store or web, I don’t care) that having terrible f2p design fueled by a not-so-micro transaction store full of rubbish.
You ruined the karaoke nights Anet, we won’t forget that.
I’ll miss you all team pinky
the no wp is tricky
what happen if u fall in the lava?
Your character gets deleted.
Welcome to hardcore mode.
There should be a way to spawn private instances (raids?) for world bosses.
That’s all I have to say before you destroy every single large scale PvE guild and leave thousands of players with nothing left to do in the game.
That’s exactly what they’re doing. Allowing guilds to start spawns.
Or, do you really mean ’Private’ where no one else can get a piece of the action?
Private as you need to be invited to get into that particular instance, like a dungeon.
I’ll switch "spawn" with "spin up" so it is more clear.

I liked Battle on the Breachmarker way more than everything Jeremy Soule has composed so far (and by everything I mean everything, not only GW2).
He’s either too "samey" or too random, always stuck between something that makes no sense or The Elder Scrolls Theme 2374642389.0

I really don’t understand... the skins won’t change and you’ll be able to use them on more characters, where is the problem? Did you buy a legendary because you thought it was some "prestigious" thing to do instead of just because you liked the skin?
News-flash: You’re not a unique snowflake, everyone is running around with legendaries.

Nobody cares about Arrow to the Knee Online and Flopstar.
Deal with it.
Gotta remove all those filthy RPG elements from their MMORPG.
Enjoy free 2 play.
They do not plan to go pay2win
And you will still have 2 Incinerators.
I don’t quite understand the question.
raises hand
What are we supposed to do about the mind-numbing boredom factor here?
Buy le gems xdxd
Elementalist, thief and guardian.
[end game] Warriors, guards, and +*rangers*+ have very high sustain, but thieves and elementalists have high sustain and the highest spike.
[leveling] +*Rangers*+ and warriors. Probably.
Rangers? What are you smoking?
The bearbow is strong with this one.
I deleted them after the gear threadmill announcement.
It’s because GW2 ANet wants you to see the cultural diversity of this game in the Charr, Norn, Asura, Sylvari, Kodan, Tengu, Quaggan, etc. and not in the human cultures.
They want you to set aside the intra-human cultural distinctions of GW1 because it would be unfair to the new playable races that humans have such a rich history.
They are trying to create an entirely new cultural fabric of Tyria where “species” are important, not “ethnicity”, because this is what they want GW2 Tyria to be now.
They own the rights to the game and can do whatever the heck they want. And they want cats, rats, plants, giant humans, bears, hawks, manatees, etc.
Krytans are white because they think it’s a neutral(and safe) tone.
The average human is not white.
This is completely normal thing. Something is too strong, it gets nerfed, collateral damage. No point to complaint about it.
Your weak build relied on overpowered things to get decent. You shouldn’t be surprised. If you want it to get better you should post constructive suggestions.
That’s quite ironic.
No.
It is free 2 play rubbish at this point, kinda like Forza 5.
They could just wait for those DX12 CPU overhead/threading optimizations before considering going back to engine work.
Wasting time on a D3D 11 renderer is completely pointless.

TIL there is no gold/gem exchange in GW2
TIL: Buying supposedly extremely rare and powerful weapons is epic, engaging and fun.
Give heavier armor sets a penalty and let everyone wear everything.
There’s no reason to follow D&D crap in 2014.
GW2 is pretty much done...
Look forward to a GW3 within the next 2 years.
Guild Wars 3 takes everything you love about GW 2 and puts it in a instanced world...
Of course they can, dealing with that ESRB/PEGI useless rubbish is not mandatory.
She isn’t human, so do ’the rules’ still apply?
Nobody knows what rules apply to what, the whole system is clusterkitten that doesn’t reflect 99% of the content you’ll find in a videogame, is just another stupid attempt at controlling and classifying creative works that ends up being nothing more than a useless barrier.
Thankfully digital distribution and indie development are moving away from them.
Wou... they killed a child? "Nice"....
Yes, children die too.
Deal with it.

Personally I would prefer to play male spellcasters, but Anet made them ugly in Gw2 :-(
WHAAAAAAT???!! Muh husbando is beautiful, your argument is invalid.
(edited by Spiuk.8421)
Great, an achievement for 1%
Hardly, lots of servers (Deso, SFR, Blackgate...) and even overflows are getting 6 min kills.
You should try getting 3 commander tags and some instructions in chat instead of crying.
(edited by Spiuk.8421)
I don’t care if it is 5€/month for small bits of permanent stuff or 60€ for a yearly expansion.
Just let me pay for quality content.
This is my Ascalonian elementalist in both his serious business and casual armor sets.

It took them until release of GW2 to fix the Exhaustion issue in GW1 Ele
Removing great mechanics from the game is called “fixing” now?
So yeah, this is not a complaint or anything but this community has reached a new low by making low level characters and speed running the first personal story to completion to get black lion keys.
Surface Pro 2 plays GW2, Battlefield 4 and other fairly demanding games surprisingly well.
Because it would be boring and groups would suck.
Check your Hall of Monuments privilege.
There are no meele classes in Guild Wars 2 and you are probably not supposed to be at meele range all the time when fighting the knights.
Thieves in particular have no practical melee options and very poor ranged combat for this fight.
Wot? Sword/pistol is literally the best weapon set for this fight.
I have a feeling they did this to stop the zerker trains. How many zerkers do you see running ranged on average in PvE?
So they made a critable DPS race to stop berserker trains? That’s just genius.
Nothing auto attacks better than a warrior in melee range anyway.
* Except eles, thieves and guardians.
(edited by Spiuk.8421)
Just remove it.
You could also go back to World of Warcraft.
Oh and stop bringing berserker to world bosses. You’re dead weight. Sometimes literally.
This only applies if you’re terrible though.
Seeing as I’m pretty darn sure you can’t crit world bosses like Tequatl, yes you are a dead weight in zerkers gear. 2 of the 3 stats that gear offers you are rendered useless.
You can crit the knights.
So I just tried that “Kill 3 Legendary Clockworks” quest. It is nothing but a DPS test. Can we please stop having quests like these?
These quests are saying:
If you are not using berserker gear, go home.
But then how would they justify the gear threadmill without DPS checks?
