It’d be nice if they’d be able to tie in the news and info on to that log-in screen. But yeah I do remember it from beta and I do admire it and wish to see it return. Either way though it’s a login screen so I could care a bit less whether it comes back or not.

If it does, great, if not, oh well.

Honestly the reason I DIDN’T buy the Halloween and Wintersday costumes is because they weren’t account-bound. I’d be more inclined to spend my money on things I knew would be there forever like they were in GW1.

These are currently priced at almost 20g (and generally fluctuate around 20g). These were, for some reason, only available in Molten Facility. Will we ever be able to learn the recipe to craft these so we can actually craft armor with these stats? Or are we supposed to rely on people who control the market to make a ton of money off of people who want this type of gear?

On my server alone there are 3 people who have more than 100 of these and just horde them because they were able to buy them when they were cheaper and want to have them if they ever need them.

C’mon… No craftable recipe? This is the most expensive inscription in the game and blocking people from crafting gear with these stats because some people want to make others spend 120g+ on a single armor set. 20g x 6 = 120g on the inscriptions alone….

That’s definitely upsetting to hear. So in other words only a few people have this and will likely never be given out again?

Yes, this absolutely yes. Right now my guild is having to rely on the leaderboards and go through our 400+ members to see when the last time they earned an achievement point. This isn’t always the most effective way and it is certainly time consuming.

Please give us the ability to see:
Last time logged on
Last time repped
% of rep time

It would be nice to be able to see what guild a member is repping when they’re not repping our guild too.

This has been suggested several times on these forums. I really hope they make it so, and soon.

I would also like to be able to see how much influence members have earned for my guild and how they earned it.

It’s shocking how bad a lot of the guild features currently function. The fact that we’re still missing so much with no signs of change is really discouraging.

The assassin race is Largos, they are so cool looking :} Imo much cooler than the playable races currently in gw2, and way more awesome than Tengu or Kodan. They are sleek, mysterious, individual… So very different from humans, yet still somewhat human or elf-like so that I relate to them. This race would be very popularly played, I guarantee that. /beg
I hope they don’t add in Tengu as a race, I would hate that as much as Pandas in wow, and that’s why I quit wow.

Largos are pretty boring lorewise. Mostly because we know almost nothing about them. I’d say keep them mysterious. Have a few of them in the game world, we don’t need an entire race of manta ray hybrid people.

Back on topic, Tengu were in GW1 and how do Tengu relate at ALL to pandas? If anything Kodan would relate to them – not that that’s a bad thing. I personally find Kodan unappealing as a playable race as well, but it has nothing to do with other games.

Lesser race?? The only thing holding the hylek back is unity. With could make a exelent story line. The three orders hlping unite the scatterd hylek races witch are fighting the decline of there race. Against krait and the infuence of the dragons, not to mention trying to survive in a new hostile enviriment against all odds. Sound like hylek would be a awsome race and story to play

I didn’t say I wouldn’t like to play them. I’d love to play Heket. They’re my second choice behind Tengu.

I agree. Ignorant people saying “don’t use it if you don’t like it.” Yeah that’s not the point. It’s nice to every once and a while have some mystery and need to figure things out as players.

Agreed. Steps in the right direction, but they could be leaps if done correctly in the future.

Oh look this thread again. Well I do support inspect feature in GW2. I’d love to see the skins people are using on their weapons / armor (and maybe dyes). Comparing achievements, seeing their gold, or any sort of “deep inspect” feature I can live without.

I agree. On my server it kitten es me off so much seeing every event go like this.

-People tag events
-People zerg up
-People farm champions for the remainder of the event
-People still get chests for failing
-People also get Champion loot for an entire hour-long farm.

They won’t. This is a permanent addition to the game, and same with the new Zodiac weapons, they were at a promotional price of 1 ticket.

I think the price increase from 1 → 5 is steep to say the least, but it’s what they decided to do. I agree with you to reduce them though, permanently, for both (and future) weapon sets.

For some, 10 chests yields 1-2 scraps. Others have gotten 2 or more tickets in 5-10 Black Lion Chests. RNG will be RNG. I don’t support or like it, but that’s what they decided to do for these weapons.

I support your suggestion not only for Aetherized weapons, but Zodiac and future BLC only weapons as well.

You can change your WvW player limit to a lower setting, and it will affect the PvE player limit. It was an accident that it still says “WvW” in the settings.

This wouldn’t work for the same reason you can’t change your profession. Cultural armor, personal story, achievements.. The list goes on of reasons why this wouldn’t work.

Just make a character of a different race if you want to play a different race.

Oh cool so it’s like some of the Everlasting Tonics from GW1. Too bad I don’t want to look like a Fembot while playing though.

As the leader of a guild that requires representation, I would love a feature like this. Instead of a “stand-down” option, or being able to represent another guild, it should inform that user that doing so would leave the current guild. I already ask everyone who joins if they’re ok with 100% rep and sure enough they say yes, but down the road there are those that “forget” or opt-out.

On the other hand, I do allow people to use personal guilds for bank purposes so while I agree something needs to be done about representation with guilds that require it, it can’t just kick people for going to their guild bank.

Unfortunately, the same thing happened to me with about 220 Transmutation Crystals. If you deleted or sold it – accidental or otherwise, it’s gone and they will not give you another.

It really sucks because you’re right – transmutation will show items at their transmuted icon. You put Twilight on a level 1 sword? Better make sure you put it in an invisible bag because that merchant will take that plain old icon for a few silver.

Yeah it’s pretty bad. Not to mention that on top of them being a total joke compared to the GW1 skins, they aren’t earned by skill or by completing dungeons or elite areas. They’re “earned” by buying keys to RNG boxes.

I go months without seeing a single exotic besides what I use!

I’ve only ONCE got an event claim ticket for a skin, and it was compete accident when I didn’t even like them.

My buddy quits and goes to WoW then comes back and gets two precursors two days in a row. I haven’t even gotten a fractal weapon!!!

I’m half PvE Half PvP so I only got to R40 showing a clear significant time I spend in PvE and I’m lucky to get a 75ish exotic that sells for under a gold. Something has to be wrong.

The new Zodiac weapons are a terrible faliure. You went over the top with them, wich made them horrible. Looking back at the old Zodiac weapons in Guild Wars they had a darker blue like the night sky. They had more stars.

Agreed. Take a look at a lot of the returning GW1 skins though – such as the Fellblade or Crystalline sword.

There’s nothing legendary about legnedaries anyway. The moment they made them bind on use and sell-able on the trading post they took any potential prestige associated with these weapons.

I noticed you only have 3 “runners” so I guess you’re one of the types of groups similar to what was described in the OP. You get 2 other suckers to go with you and then right when the run is finished you kick them out to get someone to pay for a spot.

Yeah that may be the case then.. I can’t remember. All I know is I pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition and I don’t remember getting the ring as a pre-order bonus, I thought it was something the special edition came with.

I agree with you though. It’d be nice to have it be useful rather than just being deleted at level 10. I would support the idea of it being just as hard to get as regular ones.

And definitely I support the idea of having it upgradable every 10 levels via the mystic forge.

I think it’d be a nice addition to the game. Not for elitism purposes, but to be able to help out a guildy without him having to link all his gear or even seeing someone who has awesome armor or weapons and not needing to whisper them about it. I’d be able to just see what it is by inspecting.

I’m also pretty sure that everything above digital deluxe gets the ring. So if you have a Collector’s Edition or the Digital Deluxe (which can be purchased with gems) you get the ring.

And as I mentioned we can have the same NPC or even a different one that offers it to you if you deleted it similar to how the NPC in LA gives you another Hall of Monument stone.

I agree it would be abused by the elitists for pugging. But I don’t pug anyway and I’d just love to know what the name of certain armor or weapon skins are. I support an inspect feature.
