I just want to let you know that I appreciate the inclusion of a transgender NPC, Anet. I’m not trans myself so I can’t speak for the community, but I personally think that this was a big step in the right direction. While it’s a very minor character, it means a lot to me that you saw the thread and took the idea into account.

It’s not really that hard to figure out. As a Revenant, you have two legends you sit on that you switch to back and forth.
1+1 = 2….
The Eternity is two swords in one, which switches depending on time of day.
1+1=2….

See the duality of both?

my ranger has 2 pets

Sounds like you attitude may be the problem, or you are doing something else wrong. I join nearly a dozen pugs a day for the last 2 years and have never once been kicked. I can say with 100% certainty that the problem is you. About 30% of those parties are with my necro, so I know for a fact that your class is not the problem.

idk in my experience people who greet like that are newer and very inexperienced but i wouldn’t kick someone just for being hyperfriendly

Tyria is a world full of prejudice and conflict with little room for luxury and no precedent of surgical procedures at all that I am aware of. Popping a transgender NPC in to the game would make absolutely no narrative sense and bring nothing at all to the game except a giant plot hole

It really hurts me when nobody questions the relevance of straight characters but every time someone is gay they have to be relevant, they can’t have any romantic intentions, and they have to have a detailed explanation as to why they should even exist in the first place.

Additionally, and as mentioned before, inclusion is not always a political ploy. Acknowledging my existence is not a political ploy. Giving me heroes to identify with is not pandering for my money. The idea that gay people can be heroic too is not malicious.

I want a Norn version of Laverne Cox to be the one to strike the finishing blow to Mordremoth.

Specializations are about getting what you didn’t have before, so since engineers are already getting hammers for improved melee, i think they will be getting physical skills like warriors.

I’m sure mantras and venoms will be given to other classes and shouts is already confirmed.

Necro has little mobility so maybe their specialization will deal with that, and ranger is confirmed as getting a support specialization to make up for their lack of support. Thief has poor ranged capabilities, which is why I think they’ll be getting rifle.

if you can’t see them while they’re sheathed, it would create an advantage in wvw and pvp where you won’t know what build your opponent is probably running based on their weapons

From what I saw, your camera won’t move when you cast this and you’ll have to rotate it quick enough to not get disoriented in combat. This seems tedious, can’t the camera just stay behind you when you cast it?

That’s sometimes true. I rewatched the interview and I didn’t hear MO say beta… or demo for that matter, I probably heard the word beta from wooden or mattvisual. In any case, the game is most likely in beta state now, but we’ll find out for certain in a few weeks.

i actually thought it odd that the world wasn’t ripped apart when we destroyed the elder dragon zhaitan, because, according to the lore, that should have happened. so it would actually make sense if gleam had absorbed it’s power imo, so yeah, i totally think we are going to meet her in HoT. not sure if it’s that dragon though, it doesn’t really look that much like a crystal dragon.

Did the Mursaat really do anything bad? Way I remember it, we removed them and opened the door for Primordius to release the titans (destroyers) into the world at the behest of Khilbron (who sank his kingdom into Zhaitan’s realm where he was turned into the Lich).

I think the Mursaat were actually good guys that went about it the wrong way.

I could see them aiding us after 250 years of rebuilding after their sounding defeat at the hands of the flameseeker prophecy. They’ve probably been struggling against Mordemoth’s influence ever since Khilbron betrayed us.

Titans and Destroyers aren’t the same thing. Titans were created in the Domain of Anguish and Destroyers are minions of Primordus.

I assume that this expansion will end with us killing Mordremoth. after that, there’s little reason for the living world to stick around in that area. Maybe another dragon or enemy will become a threat we’ll need to deal with in the living world.
