At the very bottom, the description for the Guilds forum,

Not that I can’t understand it, but you know ^^.

The thing I HATE about mounts and especially if the system is such that, there’s different (and thus better and better) mounts, is that many high level people will be seen riding them around. In low level places too and it happened in SWTOR. I always thought it sucked so bad.

I agree with you so much Ultramatum. A sanctuary is a place you’re completely
safe, where no harm can come to you. It’s supposed to be THE place on the battlefield
you can go, either as an ally of a Guardian or as a Guardian yourself, to find shelter
from the chaos outside.

As you said, the CD is quite long and the name suggests protection. So it should deliver on that !

Maybe there could be designated circular areas for it.
What you do is, you have two players step in and both
accept that a duel is about to take place.

After that, see through white walls light up. Not high walls, just
ones that mark the area and these walls then make it so that players can’t be
pushed outside the arena and no one else can enter while the duel
is on. It MAY also balance things a little, if for example it’s a thief
vs some other class, as the thief won’t have been able to get too far
away with stealth. Needs some thought.

I was fighting centaurs in one of their camps. I did so alone and while being
routinely pummeled by artillery. Eventually, after defeating a handful of them and
their wargs, I see a big wooden construction. I walk in what was the door and realize it’s an arena! Then I spot a big beast, lurking in a shed-like corner. It hasn’t attacked me yet, but I’m still fighting a centaur which followed me in. I end up killing said centaur, but then realize I’ve caught the attention of the aforementioned beast. This beast, was 10x the size of a normal warg and looked quite terrifying. I look towards where I came in and I see a centaur. But he didn’t come in! No, instead, he activated some gate mechanism that barred the door. Trapped! And now under attack by this huge beast. I couldn’t do anything besides run around, switching between defensive abilities and nearly dying. I tried to destroy the door, but didn’t have enough time before the beast was upon me. Then suddenly, I see someone else! And soon 3 people came to my aid and we defeated the beast together, after they broke up the door. Was so lovely seeing someone else ! Epic !

I’m glad you voiced your thoughts OP.
I just hope that ArenaNet will prove wiser than your average game company
and build the game such that it’ll last for many many many years and that in the
end, should there come a GW3, that you’ll be able to transfer something from your
GW2 adventures too. So it’s like a lineage you can build or what have you. So each game feels like part of the puzzle and not 1 seperate entity.

I’ll be okay with it I think, if it can be turned off.

So in effect what we have here is yet another misleading tooltip right.

Would be nice, were it possible. Tired of seeing it.

You already get exp from:

• Gathering (All the different nodes too)
• Reviving others (Even if it’s NPCs, ones who might even die every 5 secs)
• Killing (the many) mobs.
• Dynamic Events.
• Hearts.
• Skillpoints.
• Vistas.
• Achievements.
• Points of interest.
• Huge boost when completing a story quest.

I love the OP’s suggestion. You shouldn’t underestimate the value of these
small things, not at all. I think players really do love jumping puzzles and it’s
kin; creative games. I know that ArenaNet could do some really LOVELY stuff
with GW2.

And in PVE too.

Good point gricks. I’m sure they could tie this in with some world
events.

I’d think it’s pathetic if some people start an outcry due to gay marriage
being accepted in the game. Kind of feels like “Oh grow up” : p. . .

To answer the lore question. I think you may just be able to find a loophole.
Sure, some races in Tyra might not marry, but maybe we could say, that your character
is so unusual anyway, to have traveled so far and wide in Tyra and experienced so many things… That they’re quite unusual. THUS, marriage is quite fine ^^.

By the way…

I’m wondering something. The tooltip for Sanctuary says it
protects against projectiles. But when you face off against
the Fire Elemental in the Metrica Province, it has an ability wherein it sends fire scorching across the ground. This, I would call a projectile, yet it ripes right through sanctuary. The same goes for when it uses fire from underneath you. This makes sanctuary really unviable, since it's not a sanctuary at all !

Rofl “Oh god please don’t hurt me!” should be something you could
unlock from the store.

Jokes aside, I do agree too ^^. I haven’t gotten retreat either.
Instead I opted for Save Yourselves. And I guess when your allies
are getting hurt, it’s cool. Or if you’re naughty and you tell your enemies…

As it says, it would be nice if you could see the color of the
level you’ve reached. To my knowledge, you can’t. Both the numbers
displayed in the bottom left corner and in the top right corner, when
you press H, are white. Would be nice if you could see the color changes, as
it might serve to be both pretty and act as an indicator that you’re really
leveling !

I doubt this would be used. If you’re so new, you might not
even realize there’s a channel dedicated to you.

I love sanctuary a lot. However I hate how when it’s up, some people
can still damage you…

I detest Charr too. Disgustlingly big and so trollish when
you see a Charr thief. If Tyra existed, you’d feel a minor windblast
everytime a Charr went stealth.

Maybe you should try learn a new language, might help with
your point of view, OP ^^. English-only speakers tend to get frustrated
about this topic all the time; simply because they don’t understand what’s
being said and they’re too lazy to learn another language ^^. (Normally at least).

However, just out of good manners, people really ought to use the relevant chats

I think this is a really good suggestion. Even if it were a bad one, I think it’s
plain logical to be able to use up the space that has been put on display.

And what if a group of players decide to gang up on unsuspecting
people ^^.

Would be awesome if you could use those tridents

I just think it’s strange… Because for example I just completed
a zone and all 3 items I got were things I could neither wear nor
use. Just feels odd for a reward, if you know what I mean?

I always have gear to salvage, pretty much. I’m not a big user of the
trading post I’ll admit. But really, I’m not asking for everything to be useable
by me ^^. Haha. It’s just … You get slightly tired of being faced with rifles, daggers
and medium armor after doing things.

I don’t believe you get cash if you chose to deposit all
collectibles in your inventory. So perhaps by not doing that, but
instead selling items at vendors, then you’ll get cash. Completing
areas/zones is also a good way.

I keep getting items I can’t use, when for instance completing
an “area” or “zone” like Kessex Hills. The ensuing reward in this
instance, contained a pair of leggings which my profession can’t use.
What’s the point in this? I don’t understand.

The same thing happens when I get to unlock a big chest after a Boss
event. Most of the items are things I can’t use. Rifles, Bows, Light/Medium
armor and so forth. Why? It just seems odd to me, that that would go for a
reward.

Maybe you should try informing us of your specs first
and then second trying to alter some of the graphics settings.

That would make it very very very easy though surely?
What if you were a level 12 and you had a higher level friend.
That friend could join you in your story and help you get to the
parts of your personal story that far exceed your own level.

I’ve done this myself, going over my level. I didn’t have help.
But with this, it could end up being a bit much?

Many people just don’t know how to avoid such
things really. Not bashing anyone, just saying that it
must also be the responsibility of the individual user to
learn enough about computing and thus security, to avoid
many of these things. Granted, even experts do suffer though.

So does anyone just walk? The scenery is often highly beautiful
and all we do a lot of the time as a means for transportation,
is running. So does anyone ever walk? I do.

If you want to walk, follow this path:

Escape >>>Options >>>Control Options >>> Find “Walk” In The List >>> Chose a Hotkey for it.

I just found out. I have a friend whom just started playing and I
thought I’d be nice to her and use some of my cash to get her some
of the basics. But… It’s not possible? The only way I think it may be possible,
would be to start a guild and perhaps share via the guild bank?

I think you should adjust your settings if you haven’t.
Have you adjusted your graphics settings?
Turning on vertical sync can help stabilize your FPS.

Well like a lot of you, I loved how the game looked. On top of that, NO subscription was also just an amazing feature and I thought that even IF I didn’t play it much, I wanted to support this ideal. Because really, subscription can go to ****.

I had just been playing SWTOR and thus left it, due to not having the time to play. But I also wasn’t so happy about the game…. And due to not having time or the want to play, I eventually cancelled my sub, as it was nagging at my consciousness; I was wasting money.

Then one day, when I was out, I brought some money. I was intending to buy GW2 then. But I couldn’t find it in any of the shops, as it was sold out. I then decided to opt for BattleField 3 Premium. However I was then pointed to a stand dedicated to GW2 which I had missed haha and then got that instead <3.

Not everyone has problems fortunately.

Find out what kind of computer you have and you can
search for videos on various sites and see how you disassemble
your computer or otherwise clean it.

Well the netalyzr isn’t meant to solve problems per say. Rather it’s meant
as a diagnostic tool, so that in the case something seems really wrong, you
could ask a professional and/or search it. And gamebooster is there to lessen
the problem. But oh well ^^. If I could, I’d fix you all up.

I honestly hate seeing those who really are as
huge as cars…
