The reason i don’t “want” zerk in my party is because of horrible experience… You have NO IDEA how many zerk warriors i have played with that doesnt know dodging exist. I spend more time ressing them than i do fighting.

Also, I don’t want super fast ultra speed to get the reward when i do a dungeon… I run dungeons for fun, not reward.

LOL. In an odd way, I think that’s got a grain of truth. That’s why so many players of the class are “bearly a ranger”. When all you have to do to solo champions in open world is watch your pet, it really doesn’t provide much incentive to learn anything at all.

Here’s a neat troll for those of you running with a zerg. Next time you see a ranger KB’ing things away from the melee, do “/say please don’t KB things” and then count the number of “why?”‘s you get (I got 4 different why’s? one time, all rangers).

If you haven’t noticed he’s never using his AoE either, not just a lack of bubble (something that would be highly undesirable on a Guard or Mes solo). I think it comes from being inside his circle while he’s against a wall.

Most things you fight are single target.

You should use 20/25/0/5/20 if you are going to use only GS. You need Master of Consecrations for Wall of Reflect and Purging Flames, both of which are pretty necessary in dungeons (especially if you don’t have condition removal from Shouts).

It’s kind of true that the casuals are the real elitists. They think they are right and they feel entitled to anything they want.

Ok since the joke was over your head let me explain it. rT was recently picked on for cleverly using fiery greatsword. They are known for extremely fast boss kills. My comment was saying, with satire, that unless you’re going for a speed clear, there’s not a thing wrong with a 1500 range longbow vs that particular lava boss. I have several sets of CoE gear and farmed that dungeon extensively. I even like longbow to knock alpha into corners to kick off fights but fighting alpha with sword is generally a good time, but lets get back the topic.

First off, I have both melee’d and ledge/longbowed that lava boss. Both are fine. Longbow is a little safer but actually does incredible damage with zerk gear. It’s really comparable to swors when at max range and it’s much stronger than people realize right now.

Or make fun of me for supposedly covering up some embarassing comment. Read sig: “tin foil hat hearer”

And your pet can’t damage the boss at all from there, and Longbow still does less damage than Sword.

That is all the support a guardian will ever have to give to his party (also fire fields, which isn’t affected by gear either) so knowing that, why the hell would anyone even use cleric stats over zerker on a support guardian?

Well there are a few very good reasons for using clerics. First off, gear and traits DO affect boon duration, and the boon duration you have counts towards the boons you apply. Second, support is not just about boons and condition removal. For me, it’s largely about healing power. Healing power is directly affected by gear and the difference is huge between zerk and clerics. If I’m trying to heal my group using a virtue, a dodge or a symbol (writ of the merciful) then we’re talking about a difference of thousands of hit points. Plus, even if you wanna be selfish, more healing power means more survivability for you, which means more time alive to deal damage. I recomend clerics gear with Runes of Altruism or Soldier and Berzerker trinkets. That’s a nice combo.

You should play with people that don’t need you to support them, or you should make your friends get better.

The only class I’ve had trouble making the spider run on is Mesmer, but then I learned how to do it.

I don’t think anything has changed in path 2 aside from jumping over the waypoint wall.

Because Healing Breeze and Orb of Light are super good heals.

Guardian isn’t really a tank class. It is, however, probably the most well-received and most sought after professions in pug groups.
