funny thing is that staff guardian is going to be more useful than all the squishy zerkers running around since 2/3 of the zerker stats don’t do anything to world bosses.

and ppl will have to waste their precious time rezzing zerkers.
and not to mention staff guardians can easily do more healing than some classes own healing skill.

Even if you can’t crit Tequatl, the zerkers are going to be more useful because they’re build to do damage, instead of being a “healer”. I’m also pretty sure it’s a lot easier to be carried around everywhere by the zerkers, while you’re at range probably doing zero damage.

And what precious time are you wasting on the zerkers? Time waving your staff, or time healing everyone with Orb of Light (788 (0.6) healing is very impressive btw). And I’m curious what healing skill you’re outhealing with staff btw

or instead of zerker you could run pvt for the same effect and not waste everybodys time by rezzing squishy zerkers.
and i can easily heal over 1k with the orb of light, thats without any sigils or foods.

A bad player in Berserker’s gear will improve. A good player in Berserker’s gear won’t need PVT morons to rez him.

Brazil might only have 12 gold., but thats because he spends 140g on a weapon skin and 5 days later decides he doesn’t like it and transmutes another 140g skin over it. And then cashes what gold he has left in for gems to buy hair kits.

Putting my King Toad’s Greatsword Skin over my Foefire’s Essence and then using a Transmutation Splitter to get a Pearl Greatsword back was a really bad idea. then I just transmuted the King Toad’s skin over the Pearl skin again and wasted even more gold. It was a good night.

And then there was the time I Mystic Forged a Greatsaw, Corrupted Avenger, and Destroyer Greatsword at the same time. And then the time I transmuted over my Corrupted Sledgehammer with a Blackfeet Bludgeon on accident. And then the time where I salvaged a Corrupted Focus and Sword for the sigils back. And then the time I bought Holographic Dragon Wings for 30g and transmuted it over the Killer Whale Quaggan I bought for 50g. And then the time I spent 200g on hair kits in 3 hours. And then the time I bought Final Rest for 180g. And then the time where I made a set of Mist weapons for my Warrior, didn’t like them, and left them in my bank, never to be used again. And then the time I deleted my Guardian I crafted, bought T3 armor for, unlocked Abyss / Black / White / Celestial dyes on because I didn’t like the female Norn Guardian voice acting.

I wish they would hire me to be in charge of dungeons and PvE balance. I would be great at it :/

There are two techniques to face Belka: the exploit and the legitimate way. The two techniques have drastically different concepts. Therefore we can assume that one of them is maybe unintended (possibility). Now, it is obvious for everybody that the exploit technique is unintended. Finally we notice one similarity with stack-hacking in CoE: it is just as much out of the role-play frame.
This is just to say that by comparisons and role-play checks we can see that some techniques are very likely glitches.

So until the devs express that stack-hacking was intended, or until they fix its role-play breach, then we can consider it a glitch.

Warrior damage is not as high as Thief or Elementalist. Warrior sustained damage is not as high as Guardian. Warrior DPS is only slightly better than Ranger.

The thing is that Warrior’s DPS is 10 times easier to pull off compared to Guard, Thief and Ele, for the average player.

You know, for those 3 profs (manly Ele/Thief) you might need to dodge.

Very specific and perfectly timed DPS rotation on a Warrior is easier to pull off than turning on autoattack with a Sword on Guardian? You also need to dodge on every single profession to maintain your health for Scholar Runes / not dying. Thief requires you to stay in Dagger / Dagger behind a boss and autoattack or use 2 abilities. Ele requires you to Fiery Rush into a corner or autoattack with Lightning Hammer. Warrior requires a lot more thought.

Keep in mind we’re talking about pugging and average players, not optimized running.

I’m not saying that War is easier to Min/Max than Guard, Thief or Ele.

But the average pug will go War for DPS. Thief and Ele are too fragile for them, and Guard is rarely seen as DPS source.

As wrong as it can be, that’s how most pugs i’ve met see professions – that was my point.

Pugs are bad, so why even bother using them as an example of what DPS a class can do? Pugs are also inconsistent and don’t have a set build to use. Each pug varies from the next.

Acutally as elems we can use our class mechanics while depsing: we can attunement swap while wielding the hammer, and it is as exiting as using engi’s mechanics.

That being said I believe hammer builds are only good for mindless speedruns, and the real deal is with a Fresh Air build in challenging content. Content in which actually sharing the hammer rather than using it selfishly is more beneficial to the group. However in that challenging type of content our damage is assuredly low. Therefore my belief is that the hammer builds should actually be nerfed, so that Fresh Air builds can call for buffs.

A lot of people that use a proper DPS build seem to use something like what I use. With 25 stacks of Might and Vulnerability, you’ll probably do over 5k on your first 2 attacks and 11k+ on your last attack with Sword in most cases. In some situations it will be higher, some it will be a bit lower. You’ve got the potential to do well over 20k damage per autoattack chain and you can do it faster than a Warrior can complete an Axe chain. You should also be able to get 2 Sword chains off in during the time it takes a Warrior to complete Hundred Blades. Guardian does not have the same ability to self-buff that Warrior does, but it is very strong in a group.

Guardian sustained DPS with Sword is better than an Axe Warrior. Why wouldn’t you want to maximize Guardian DPS?
