I’m moderately sure that human male scientists have noticed that human (and Norn) females have mammaries.
So do Sylvari females, which are not mammals, but plants.
Sylvari are mammal mimics, not mammals. Those tissues aren’t mammaries as they do not secrete milk.
There are insects that look like twigs or leaves but that doesn’t make them plants. ^^

Be sure to read up on dialogue and lore. We know the sylvari are mordrem who mimicked the human form. Ventari wrote a tablet that when followed helps one resist mordremoths call. Kinda like reading a bible helps you resist the devils call. You dont need it, but it helps.
Ventaris table doesn’t do that, maybe some believe it does – or say it would – but if those rules would protect, the compleate nightmare court would have turned into mordrem, but most of them had to be captured and infected with for turning

I see no other option as well, since the oxigen level in tyria is way higher as on earth (evidence, the size of the other big insects) griffin-insects should be possible.
I would like to measure the efficience of tyrian algea, since those are the main producers of oxigen – i hope the deep sea dragon doesn’t change the oxigen level, once we kill it.
Also i wonder why no asura made a quest to kill/bring a specimen of every single organism in tyria for future analysis? or an sylvari with the name Linnaeus, since sylvari seem as smart or smarter as asurakind

They recognice dinosaures as groub – we shouldn’t ask why, just kill them – but they knew that taxom – therefore we can asume, they also know similar ones like mammalians

I am amazed that Anet has not partnered with a craft brewer to produce GW2 themed beers. Black Quaggan would be a wonderful name for an imperial stout! I believe there is one brewery producing some Game of Thrones beers. I would be interested in seeing a product like this…

But, but those are easy wins! 70-90% winrate – great for daily and reward tracks – why stop this?
In PvP tje level doesn’t matter, just your PvP build – and that should be different as your PvE build
And since you are new to PvP – always fight on point and if the opponent holds mid – go for far, should work well for a new player

That was my first thought as well.
But, some genetic traits can be linked to each other. It’s possible that the black skin/hide trait is also linked to something that makes the skin thicker, or something else that helps them to survive better up there.
It couöd also be a bottleneck situation, at one point many quaggan died at random numbers and just a few survived, now all got their traits – and one could be black – but more likely a combination of both
It might be the LSD in the middle of Kalsdottir. That was the reason a name Owlsdottir was rejected back at the start of the game for another person.

I do support giving harsher punishments to afk/leavers. They just ruin the fun of the games for everyone else. I suggest that if you leave a game or are inactive for a certain amount of time, then you cannot play ranked for the rest of the day. After you get say 5 of these bans in a month, then you are banned for a week from ranked. It would really help with only having serious players in ranked. Keep people who like to quit in unranked.
I understand that this would also punish genuine disconnects, but they happen so rarely that I do not think Anet should even consider them for punishments (I get maybe 1 DC per month and I play 10+ games per day as long as there is no new pve content). I certainly wouldn’t mind missing out on just a single day of ranked play once a month or less for a real disconnect if it eliminates all leavers and afkers from my games.
All this said, I do not think leavers are an absolutely massive problem. I get maybe 1 every 10 games on average (yes I do have runs where I get one in 5 games in a row, but 1/10 is an accurate average) but even with the fairly small amount of these people, it can’t hurt to give harsher punishments to them.
If they would implement such penalty, then 2 things would happen:
1 – players insted of afk, then they would just go feed over and over
2- it would be just a matter of time untill there would be no players to play with, because maybe u got a legit dc, or problem with server, or MM was so bad that u just left or akitten, or some emergency happened and u had to leave.
Again i say, there is a huge problem with MM, we played several game with and vs each other and u know what im talking about 500- 60 and such games, not because some akitten , but because of the bad MM.
and ofc some players dont want to keep feeding and afk.
Some times games even start 4vs5 .

People join a queue to play a game of ranked, not to leave halfway through. I know that some games are truly unwinnable, but still, afking or leaving when there is someone on your team who still wants to try should be punished. I only ever afk when my entire team has given up, which is why a surrender button would be good, but it must need the vote of the entire team.
Im sorry but i have to disagree, if the game is 450-50 and all want to resign apart from 1, then the 4 players shouldnt be punished because of that 1 player that is refusing to stop, i think its punishing enough having to all 4 players to endure the rest of the game because of 1 is refusing to stop under such conditions.
Quitting a game at 450? Can’t you wait those last few seconds? Even the voting itself would consume more tine as the game lasts anyway – if not, get yourself killed and speed up the game – actually that’s a true resogn, jump into the aoe and just die, if all 5 do that, the match is over in no time
No , its not in my nature to just go into a fight to get a beaten , with out even fighting back.
The game is lost, 4 players see this and want a resign, and that 1 wants to keep fighting , so let him.
I have no pleasure in feeding, and we also dont get any rewards for getting a close score, losing 500-50 or 500 -100 doesnt get u anything.
Then i am either lucky or in an MMR group that doesn’t contain frequent quitters….

Imagine what will happen in the following scenario:
The system caunts your leaves/AFK/(Vote out). There is a slow removal of counts like 1 per week.
Matchmaking takes that into account placing people with high counts together.
Isn’t there already something like that? Because i rarely see an AFK player – specially in ranked….

As a main mesmer, i was always envious to those mesmers we saw when we played the storyline with their abilitys – be it a charr that tricks you into thinking your teammates are enemys you have to slay or may it be a undead mesmer that let’s you party with a bunch of zombys without knowing they are undead (i hope nobody made out with one of them in that mission…)
I wish my mesmer could do the same, that’s why i tought, what would happen that i could do that?
Clearly it’s hypnosis – but how to do that?
I found a solution – an obvious one! Use a mace! (yeah, maybe not obvious for everybody, but for mesmers, that use greatswords as range weapon)
When you swing a mace like a pocket watch, hypnosis would work great!

As animation, swinging it from right to left and via versa with some expanding rings that use the invisibility-effect for disorting the mind.
Possible attacks;
1 hit with a mace
2 trow mace in a mini portal that opens behind the enemy and hit’s him on the head
3 mace flys off and hit’s the enemy multiple times as range attack (anybody knows the fairytale of “Cudgel in the Sack”?)
4 hypnosis animation, the enemy becomes an ally for a few seconds (would be fun in PvE and spice up PvP a lot, specially if the opponent doesn’t look at the enemys and just attacks red texts)
5 similar animation to hypnosis, but this time the mace makes compleat cyrcles and the mesmer becomes invissible (longer casting time as torch, but also longer invisibility)
Also for the 6-0 some ideas
6 self hypnosis – damage becomes healing for a short amount of time
7 & 8 turining enemys in moa is fun, but i want to turn myself into little animals as well, like a charr mesmer out of a story, one animal makes me invulnerable (multiple chickens at the same place) and the other animal transformation attacks (scorpions, spiders, baby griffins – just pick a nice miniature animation and make it a flock)
0 making a (evil) copy of the enemy that attacks itself (or breaks the cc-bar in case of a boss)
It should be a recruited species out of our story! They are all good choices and sre already part of the pakt!
Choose a class you know very well! If you know your class, there won’t be a problem in most game modes…

Why is everyone looking for a way to quit a game.
If your matches are getting so bad ask Anet to fix there Match Making.
Because 50% of the people always lose – no matter what – therefore some of those 50% are salty because it isn’t their fault that they lose and therefore just want to restart a new game with new team, because then they hope they won’t be the 50% loosing (and in case they are, just quit until they win)
Better solution: kill all the humans, sylvari, and norn… that way there are no human models. Then, all armor can be designed for Charr and Asura…. as it should be.

If you want to surrender, just let the other team control 3 points and jump into their attacks for +5 points, that makes the game extremly quick and that’s basically a surrender!
A question, when i fight onpoint with someone from the opposite team, why do i still hold/protect the point while blocking but lose the point when i use an invulnerable skill?

Who uses them anyway? As main mesmer, until i casted it, it’s most of the time to late anyway (bevore the change of the downstate) and in those cases i could cast it – i could also blink to the downer and do it on my own without wasting a slot

Courtyard is perfectly fine.
The problem is that Courtyard is a Team Deathmatch map with Kill Count rules that has been put together with Conquest maps in the same queue.
It is not a Conquest map, and it cannot be in the Conquest list. It must be filtered separately like Stronghold.
And since people will stack more in this mode, and we have several balance problems involving builds that work too well when players just stack and spam stuff almost mindlessly, it can’t be put on ranked until that’s fixed. But in unranked it’s not only welcomed, it’s needed.
More Team Deathmatch and Stronghold maps would also be nice, with their own unique map design or map mechanical quirks. But Courtyard is fine at it is.
It doesn’t need map mechanics, it doesn’t need redesigns, It needs its own separate queue filter like stronghold. That’s all.

I said in an earlier post that 20-30s before kicking afk players might be enough, it’s true that this will hurt the team score but making it 0s will be not forgiving for players who got random dc or want to switch characters, these players are needed more than new ones because they already know the enemy team and they already got the chance to prepare a good spec for them.
I don’t think it’s necessary to allow players to change builds during the match, when someone queues for 4v5 games he’s usually having a spec that might work in almost every situation and GW2 does not have too much variety when it comes t o viable builds.
No matter how long it takes to replace afkers, giving the other 4 an extra hand will always raise their chance of winning (even by 1%) it will also reduce the amount of blaming/swearing during the match.
When i get a DC i need more as 10-20 seconds, restarting the router alone takes that time – however reloging a character can be made under 10 seconds. This would mean those with DC would be punished – and those in hope for a new game would also be punished by beeing forced into a game that is already winning/loosing wothout them doing anything
When i play – i want to be in the match all the time, notonly half of the time

A dye reward trach! Every single reward is a random dye – that’s account bound, because otherwise dye prices would fall like nothing else.
Would be interesting for new players and old players won’t bother mutch, because they would have a high chance of getting a dye double/trible without an option to use it

A marionette glider! Just some (bulky) strings that go waaaaaay up into the sky and maybe at the end a floating marionette control thingens (with WASD on the end parts of that controll wood X)
Maybe a backpiece out of the marionette control thingens, with the anination of jumping waaaaay up when we glide and anination that snaps that thing back when we stop gliding!
(And make the bulky strings on our arms/legs etc dyable)
Yeah, like any asura would be unethical enough for implanting untested experimental technology into sentient beeings – may it be based on christall/bloodstone technology, steam creatures or golem technology!

As messmer, schield 4 schield 4 dodge dodge shatter for f4 skill shield 5 – repeat and try to blink on free spots and hope they attack your illusions
But in general, if you want to win 1v2 be way better as both of them

Though, TBH, PvP gets enough prestige titles with their seasonal new title…

They could be even idebtical for most maps, and give some finisher/title for those few that really got the skill to earn them (instead of time)

true – to prevent that, allow the hard core achiefments only in ranked and replace the 2 afk with just one afk.
