If you have “bad” stacked classes, then one of you should be switching if you really want to win. If a class is stacked because it’s too good, then it needs nerfed. There is no need to restrict class stacking.

He is totally right though. Why does it actually bother you if you have duplicate classes? Like he said, balance is the problem, the DH stacking is getting out of hand because of it’s low reward play, and most people get annoyed like hell after running into dozens of traps on a small node.
Anet gives you the opportunity to solve this, but people ’don’t want to switch’. Then play and win the game as it is.
Most of your arguments don’t even make sense to be honest. You are talking like stacking a class in a team means instant loss for you. Sorry to say but it’s still roughly 90% skill and 10% team composition, there are only a very few cases where this doesnt apply (e.g. 5 thieves vs 5 DH-s, how many times you see that).
You want to get rid of class stacking, at the same time you also want to separate them by build? Because simple class stacking wouldn’t solve your ‘problem’.
People like blaming losses and everything on team compositions, then you would have the same team compositions again and again and you would be still totally steamrolled (and the other way around) every now and then.
Personally I find it absolutely diverse when you have to play against weird compositions, it makes you adapt your gameplay every time. Would be ridiculously boring to play against almost the same compositions every time.
And people talking about adding class stack restrictions and removing in prep time switching imagine the amount of tears after you still get bad setups with that and you have absolutely no chance to switch
PS: One thing I’m totally in for, change those class dailies. In my ranked tiers, it’s not a problem at all, but I can imagine it being terrible for lower tiers, and much more in unranked (as I’ve seen it every now and then)
Low division here, i hate it when mesmer becomes daily (and i main mesmer) because then there are teams of 2-4 mesmer per team and the bad part, 90% don’t know how to play mesmer (otherwise it would be fine)
But this happens only if there is no low-skill-cap class daily
An improvised glider (similar to the improvised weapon skins) made of corrugarted metall, a door, or other scrap (asymetrical wings would be great)
That would mean, the salty ones will report someone for ‘bad skill’ at the end of every lost game, no matter how close…
And the good players will most likely not care and just move on to the next game – this results that the bad players vote against the average & good players out of their team….

What are by the way considered the general peak/off hours in PvP and what timezone? I play at NA server and live in Europe so I’m having a hard time getting my head around that. Besides isn’t there like…5 hours apart from east to west coast?
Simple, remember the times of your win streaks and when a lose streak starts – go PvE watch a film clean the dishes etc
If you want to be a bunker, chose a bunker build, or if you have a real reason;
1. Explain the issue (including the rank you saw that, bronce i assume?)
2. Give possible solutions
3. Explain how those solutions should work and how they would change the game
4. Say the risks this fix could create (in this case, how a bunker build would be compared to a glass canon)
Sometimes win/los streaks happen because of the time (low player population gives odd matchups)
But if this happens around prime time, it seems the system works as supposed

Alas, they cannot do that. Well, they could, but it would be confusing since you can already get the “Emperor” title for buying enough cultural armor. How about “Invisible” as the title instead? Or “Clearly Fashionable” perhaps? (I am not for or against your base idea, but wanted to point out the title conflict).

This made me wonder, is this sexual dimorphism? Do male charr favour white tail tips like asura favour big ears and humans favour big mammalian glands? Resulting in an peakitten* like evolution with that feature?
*Edit: could a-net make an mix between Pavo muticus and a kitten for the creation of peakitten?

Easy solution, player death counts as points – maybe just 5 points like they always do – or even more! That way people could still win by defending Lord
Eg player death 5 points, after the first door’s broken 10 points and after the last door is broken 20 points (the deaths of the team who broke the doors)
In that case a team could win, just by defending Lord (collect points) and not attacking the enemy door (give enemy way less points for their own deaths)
I used my bobble head and someones Aviator’s Memory Box, multiple times in a row until a bug apeared, the colors where odd, way brighter as normal (see screenshor)
My guess, a color out of the bobble head-drinking animation stuck in the pilot memory

10 players are collected before making teams.
You are looking at ratings after the match which are going to be further apart than the ratings that were used to make the match.The two duo queues on one team is annoying, and something could be done to improve that.

Oh and when it starts with 10 players and makes teams later… could you divide professions equally?
(There where many matches when we (enemy and my team) wanted to exchange eg one duo thief for eg one duo warrior – because the other team had none)

I’ll try investigating this more, but from what I undestand your decayed rating doesn’t determine who you are matched against. So in theory, when you came back you were still playing against gold players. Your decayed rating only affects your leader board position and nothing else.
This is correct. Decay does not affect your matchmaking. With our current decay settings, you can work off your decay in 7 games.
Wait, that means;
1) a correct placed player will have a match making with 50/50 win rate
2) decay reduces the division
3) but you gain it back when you win all games, in the previous division you had a 50/50 win rate

Play a week PvE and decay will be your friend, lose the decay-restoring first matches and you will be in bronce

Why do asura/Trixx produce as dangerous ‘Toys’ in the first place? Was there any plan using those guny on the toys or… just put guns on toys and give them away to human children?
Motivation is a main source for great fights, therefore here are somel ideas; (it would ve great if a higher division agrees/disagrees, since i am just bronce)
Showing the mmr we could win/lose before the match start, that way we know * oh, it’s a stronger team – but i gain 3x the mmr i would normaly get! Let’s do this!*
Close matches give/lose less points – that way you fight until the last second! (If we get 100 point more i won’t lose as much mmr! Let’s do this!)
(If both would be accepted, the first idea would show the points possible at 500:0 & 500:450 and we could assume everything inbetween)
More points we gain and lose! This will produce faster movement for those missplaced ones, those who suffered from decay and give everyone else the illusion they could move up (like me)
Because when i calculate how much win’s i would need to move up (no loses included) the number of games is as high that i don’t even try – it’s like gambling, the illusion should suggest big prices! (And as long as the pips i can lose are proportional – i won’t move at a 50/50 win ratio)
Decay should assume the average lost game per day (works only if loses matter more, see above) and work on a daily basis (ticks after 3 days and starts with 3 at once) that way dacay would feel like a lost game and nothing that’s supposed forcing us to play
Those ideas only matter if the admins see a decaying number of players per day

- matchmaking is still broken, 5 random pugs solo Qing going vs double pro league Duo and still losing -20 , or getting 1600 MMR players in my game when I was1850+ makes no sense, fast Q times make matchmaking a lot worse

Why is that a problem now? The system is working like in previous seasons with Glicko2. The only difference is that you now see it.
You always won/lost MMR depending on the MMR of you opponents. You just didn’t see it!It seems you are confusing the pips/divisions (amber-legendary) from previous seasons with MMR divisions. Your are not supposed to rise to legendary if you are not good enough! You can only reach “legendary” MMR if you can compete with the best 50 players.

There was a soft MMR reset, which threw a bigger pool of players together at the beginning. The match making still tries to match players with equally MMR against each other. So I don’t know where you got the idea that all where thrown into one pot.
The problem is simple, you can’t see the average rating of your team and the enemy team.
If people would see “i won, but the other team got a worse rating” they understand why they gained less, but right now we have to guess the rating (or cobtrol it via friend list)
Assuming it is true that losing happens mainly against higher rated teams (if that isn’t the case, yeah we got an other problem in rating win/lost – but we can’t know…)
so make all traits available to “PVP only” free of charge. perhaps some devs actually concerned about the PVE game and it’s customer flow… it is a crap PVE game and a knock off of WoW….fix PVE and let all traits be free in PVP, keep all other restrictions the same

Any way just go and troll some other topic, after all you have been paid by comunity managers of arena net.
