D’oh! I never thought about it
Thank you both. Saved me the money of testing it.
You’re assuming the price of quartz crystals doesn’t shoot through the roof once the Bazaar is gone?
I’m assuming that, just by doing your normal questing and dungeons while the event is still on, you’re gonna have enough quartz for a full set of armor – we’re not talking about investing time to farm the thing, it’s literaly being given to you in bulk for doing nothing out of the ordinary.
Since you can’t sell the armor, you only need to craft it once and be done with it. What happens with the price of quartz after that is irrelevant (unless you have to re-craft ascended Celestial armor from scratch, that is).
So you’re saying everyone and their mother will have 6000 crystals in their bank to cover all 8 characters they have? Granted they will get more from the home node, but in most cases the supply will be smaller than demand.
The price of Quartz will definitely go up after the nodes in bazaar and the baskets in the open world are gone, for sure. How high is anyone’s guess.
Two simple questions.
Do on-kill sigils do anything on a warhorn? I.e. do they work, as the warhorn itself does not kill anything?
Second question, does the Sigil of Intelligence only confer its crit bonus on the exact weapon it is on, or any next attack. I.e. could I swap and use a physical skill, for example?
Well I hope that if/when they are taking this god kitten long to implement guild halls, when they eventually do, it will blow our minds.
Personally I’m hoping that the guild halls will be “integrated” into the open world and not instanced, but probably not.
Maybe we might even get new weapon types to go with them (eventually).
Can anyone say two handed axe or polearm?
Ooh polearms! They should give plenty of room for different looking skins too! Yes, please
A lack of Budget and Time.
Also Nexon/NCsoft/Anet doesn’t see WvW as a huge money maker.
Ironic because it’s by far the most popular/successful PVP mode in this game.
Yeah, but I have a feeling pure WvW players spend less money on the gem store than pure PvE players. Simple mathematics.
I think it does show the activity symbol. It’s just the same as the box symbol so now with tons of boxes everywhere it might be difficult to find the bluff table.
Could use the same symbol as they used with the NPCs.
They can be worth more, but probably aren’t. If you want to play it safe, you’ll just sell them.
Instead of giving the current weapons to additional professions, I’d love to see some additional weapons added, plus new slottable skills for the current weapons. Like we can change our utilities, it would be nice to be able to switch some skills with your weapon too.
From new weapons, a battleaxe (2-handed) and a crossbow stand out as missing currently.
Never thought about the skipping part. They should definitely add an option to skip them with the non-marionette style too, lest they would be kitten ing off people who are playing their 8th+ character.
Still, I think Pariah hits the nail. More cost efficient, less chance for awkward bugs and because they can.
I did 16/16 in two days, playing maybe a couple of hours each day.
Anyone who says the Bazaar achi is not accessible should just give up gaming or just play some Facebook games.
Seriously.
And game a___oles like you are the reason most people never try mmos
Tosser!
And people like the OP make all games become facebook games where you get your achievements by logging in and clicking “yes”.
I don’t want “most people” to come to my favourite MMO and turn it into a zero-challenge “game”.
You’re assuming the price of quartz crystals doesn’t shoot through the roof once the Bazaar is gone?
I’m still waiting for capes and cloacks. Or at least tabards.
Ok the only one in the list that could be argued would be a JP would be Kite Bombing, however you are not doing the JP in the intended form (you are supposed to get a bomb over to the chest without being hit). As a JP its extremely hard but just to get to the kite its a simple path and no tricky jumping.
Actually you get the JP achi without the bomb, too. The bomb is completely optional and your only reward for doing it with the bomb is the chest with 2-3 greens and blues. You don’t even get a special achievement for doing it with the bomb. Just bragging rights (if you can prove it).
Best content in the game, by far. I hope there will be loads and loads more mini-dungeons and JPs.
The thing I want to know is, what is the role of the TP once everything worth having and all materials related are account bound?
Not a bad “investment”.
With that luck, you should probably have tried RL lottery instead.

I’ve held the arena alone with my longbow/hammer warrior against 5 people with no problem. True I couldn’t finish off any of them, but they couldn’t get up either. At best they got to the railing and I would smack them off it with my hammer.
Yeah it’s really wrong that the best MMO in the market currently should cost some money to keep playing. Really wrong.
How about they start with an ability to sit down on chairs and benches? Come on even WoW has that.
Probably not going to happen. The Dev team doesn’t seem to be interested in adding RP toys to the game.
We need an achievement tracking the number of unique Dynamic Events finished (successfully). Better yet, listing each DE separately within.
I don’t get it. You’ve got a pretty graphics engine, speech bubbles and all the shiz, yet you opt to do most of the dialogue in the instances with “talking heads” approach.
Why?
You could have done all the emotes, talk and stuff in the game engine ending up with a much more attached experience. Freeze the player in place, move him automatically to a convenient position, whatever. Just don’t teleport us out of the world and into a marionette show.
I seriously hope the next parts of dialogue will ditch this approach and use the game engine instead.
Well many bosses in GW2 are tied to a certain location, but even they could use random timers instead of fixed ones.
That said, I’d love some truly random world bosses.
Too bad, I pretty much need new professions or level cap.
What good would a new level cap do except make all the current top-end gear worthless? You really want to farm all your gear again just for the fun of it?
As for new professions, not planned at the moment. New weapons/skill sets for current professions? Maybe.
I’m using 3 with the trait, plus a hammer. Plus Death from Above. I feel like the thunder god himself.
Well, since we are on the subject. Make taking a Keep a requirement for further access to the Map. I also thought it silly how the enemy could just go straight for Garrison. IMO you should have to flip Hills or Bay first, before you can get a crack at Garri.
Good idea in theory, but it would only work to increase zerging, which we have in abundance already.
If you have one of those Boxs of Fun from the Achievement point system rewards. Use it just before you start the Belcher Bluff with him. Make sure its set to only Change Appearance, ( doesn’t matter much but easier ). Then when you start the Belcher with him, just click the box to transform and watch your health instantly be refilled each time. Just make sure you re transform. Laugh as he dies slowly.
Win.
If this is true you are a freaking genius. This will be nerfed, I can feel it. Definitely sounds like it was not intended to work like this.
Too bad they nerf stuff that lets us pass BUGS they don’t fix… like water/juice reversed %
The ratios are correct. Adnul just is a bit too tough. Others are pushovers.
If water would heal 20% and drink would damage 10%, the games would never end.
lol what they did rigth is that they released it when there was no good mmo going arround and they super hyped it with the esports wich make em sell like crazy.
all your points OP i think they are wrong.
If you think most people bought GW2 because of the esport aspect you couldn’t be further from the truth.
How peculiar it is mostly non-GW1 players who are able to appreciate what GW2 has to offer.
High standards really are a bi?ch, I guess.
Or maybe we just didn’t like GW1, but like GW2 because it’s quite a different game.
Different tastes really are a b… I guess?
Since GW2 I have been unable to play any traditional tabtarget+hotkeyspam MMOs. Which is kind of sad, but tells me ANet definitely nailed it with GW2 combat.
You might have liked my country 70 years ago.
What does your uncle Al think about your political viewings?
kitten I wished he was my Uncle. My family is kitten poor.
This is one of the things you’ve been saving those otherwise insignifigant rejuv boosters for. I know I did. Tried about 25 times without, won on second try with.
Well PvP players don’t pay anything for waypoint travel anyway, nor do they frequent fractals, so I don’t really know why should they get a vote.
I do both, btw.
Unemployed dont pay any taxes, nor do they contribute to a states economy.
I dont see why they should get to vote.
Me neither.

I’d be happy by just borderlands that weren’t carbon copies of each other. I believe that was also ANets plan, but they ran out of time and had to release WvW with three identical maps.
Don’t we have enough of these threads already?
Nah. The best solution to fix this problem would be making holding towers/keeps worth more than capturing them.
And I mean on the personal reward level, not the realm point level. I dare to say that 90% of WvW players don’t give a rat’s behind about the realm score as long as they keep getting exp/karma/gold from capturing camp after tower after keep and letting them fall 10 seconds after they leave so they can recapture them again.
Hammer has easily the most satisfying moves for the Warrior. Combine with Physical Training trait & skills and go to Obsidian Sanctum. I dare you to find more fun time than that.
Look what happened when they tried to make females un-cute and go see how many female dwarves you see in WoW.
The most ridiculous part is that I’m gettting credit for Maguuman Veteran Kills when I kill the veterans in Labyrinthine Cliffs map…
@biofrog.1568
Um, belcher’s bluff is a permanent addition so not sure of your rush unless you really want the sixth skill, which isn’t that good anyway. Even if it wasn’t a permanent addition and goes when the bazaar goes, it is still here for another 3 weeks.
And good luck Deimos Tel Arin.7391
Yeah but you will only get the achievement (AFAIK) if you beat the grandmaster within this week.
Secret Areas, JPs and mini-dungeons.
Seriously, who else thinks they are by far the BEST feature of the game?
It’s not easy to out drink a norn. They are big and drink much.
Yeah I wish my norn warrior could also withstand 20 drinks like Adnul does.
I love this ability. Last night I jumped down on a bunch of enemies from the OS waypoint and my game crashed! Must’ve been some blast.
My next target is to jump down so hard it crashes the server.
The reason Adnul is much harder than the master is that he is so random. There is no clear pattern and he wins because he takes almost no damage from drink, heals massively from water and uses Critique like he’s judging the next oscar nominees.
Oh look. Another thread full of kitten PvErs who would rather have their “achievements” mailed to them directly when the event starts.
