I can’t honesty wait till black desert online is released in North America. Not only does it offer excellent PvP according to the reviews, but I am hoping it will remove all the elitist from GW2 in the process. I had high hopes for Wildstar too, unfortunately I must continue to hold out hope.

Platforming was peripheral in vanilla gw2. The change to make it integral to the game is why you are getting complaints. People bought an rpg not a platformer.
how exactly is it ‘integral’? People bought GW2 knowing that it had optional jumping puzzles in it from day 1, if i choose to not do a jumping puzzle it has 0 impact on my ability to play any other part of the game. If you dont like something, just ignore it, your not losing out.
It is not so much “integral” as it now locks out a special one time skin to a certain style of playing. I only ever did the original jumping puzzles when a friendly mesmer would port me up to them for a monthly achievement and nothing more. No harm, no foul as it would not mean anything if I didn’t bother with them at all.
With the new inclusion of a skin being gated behind having to do a single timed jumping puzzle it removes this skin to the platformer enjoying crowd. Had they gone the extra mile (foot?) in this case and had it be rewarded also by another means, I am sure we would not be seeing threads like this on the forums.
I would find this discussion funny if it were not for the posters that are being serious!
GW2 used to have a much more helpful community (not perfect) that, up until recently, liked to help it’s fellow players. Not it seems the motto of the game is “stick it to em, for they are lazy and deserve to be spit upon”. Pathetic. And all it would have taken is for their to be more than one path to completion.
Oh and someone asked what is the difference between jumping and regular combat. The answer of course is the empty air between you and your next jump. I can fight just fine on a level playing field, but make me have to jump from one platform to another and I will always fall (usually sooner than later). And honestly I did not sign up for Mario Wars 2, so I don’t bother with them as they are frustrating and NOT fun. And to the helpful fellow that says I have the “choice” to not play, you are right, and I find myself doing less and less of it lately.
I do however refuse to judge others on their abilities no matter what those abilities are in GW2, and I try to help them when I can, but apparently that makes me a outsider now. I am not enjoying this new flavor of GW2 in the least!

Upon further reflection. I have taken the thread’s advice and decided to NOT SELL gifts for under 8s.
Instead, the next 25 gifts I will get will be not sold at all. I’m just going to give them out for free. So next reset, I will give 5 people 5 gifts each. Any takers?
Just try to be sure your first 5 giftees are not named GM, IBM, LEXUS, APPLE, or CHEVRON or they will be selling for more than 8 silver soon enough.
Zero faith?
You may be aiming a bit high!
…snip
They can’t create game in favor of people with disability. You have WoW for that, and see where WoW has gone after nerf-ing everything to the ground. If they start making content for people with disability,we would have nothing to play. Some people cant do content at all,due to their issues. Some people cant do Fractals or raids due to their disability…Some people cant do heart because of disability…this game is not meant to be for people with disability.I feel sorry for those people, because i had to take care of them for one year, and i got to know lots of people in person, but that doesn’t give me for right to ask for MAJOR change,to mess up other people’s game.
People with disability have other game to play, that suits them.
I do not play JP because i do not like them.We did not have jumping in GW,so they decide to make up for big, big, big big failure.
If you look carefully at the forums you will see that many of us don’t want to be handed anything. You will see that, again, many of us want alternate ways of achieving these items.
I don’t personally think it fair that a genius at jumping deserves the item more that say someone that can defeat arah path 4, why not make it an alternative way of getting the item? It might even make some of the dungeon paths more active since they gutted the rewards.
Seriously ANet needs to understand what the word “choices” means, and so do some of the posters here it seems!
Just for that I’m tempted to sell my 2 stacks of 250 a copper each…
posts like these makes me sick…
some people are:
a) unable to complete JP due to physical disabilities
b) unable to complete JP because their hand coordination is just not on par
c) truly truly truly hate JPCalling it laziness is undeserved and pathetic, their own capabilities or willingness doesn’t impact your own.
Yep, I for one am enjoying the new non-elitist direction ANet has taken in this years festivals!! /s
Well the cost is now to high for me to bother buying candy corn on the TP so I am hoarding it till next summer to sell. My gobbler sits on a junk holding alt along with many other less than useful items. I have two alts and 3 bank tabs full of 250 stacks so the zerging in the Labyrinth and the others that I bought during Halloween should make me a huge profit to those that do still use it. I hardly play now anyways so If and when I decide to come back I may as well have some mad gold for my return.
Sad really, but I guess that means of me getting good XP is now dry.
Edit to add: The gobbler was hurting nobody save the ANet accountants anyways. Hence another reason I don’t like the new direction ANet is going in.

Well many don’t post here as they are seldom replied to by anyone in power. That being said, Reddit lost 400+ subs yesterday alone, and as the devs actually post there I can see it being a trend (metric).
Is it millions, no of course not, because most people still playing don’t unsub, but it does show that many don’t like the direction the game is going in.
I think I’m still going to stand by my “millions” quote. The vast VAST majority of players have been casual.
But, remember that my “millions” includes players who have quit. The game DID appeal to them.
Now, certainly a larger percentage of hardcore players quit than casuals. Hardcore players get bored when the content isn’t hard enough (or new enough) for them, and the seek out more difficult games.
I was actually agreeing with you, and I am sure the vast majority are casual. The only metic we have is their quarterly report to be certain, but I was using the only method at my disposal. BTW that number is over 1k now.
400+ subs lost doesn’t mean those people left the game. It means they left reddit. Let’s not make things into what they’re not.
True, but it does show that players are unsubing reddit at a very fast pace and the devs actually reply there. For all any of us know they are still playing daily and enjoying themselves, however the quarterly report will give true numbers.
Well for many of us it has died, so you may be on to something here.
I’ve seen a couple posts like this, people saying how they are physically unable to complete the jumping puzzle because of disabilities. I can empathize with you, but realistically there isn’t really anything that can be done. You just have to live with the fact that, just like in real life, there are some things you are going to be unable to do because of your handicap.
If you really, really just need that shoulder skin, you could always get a friend, family member, or coworker to do it for you. Hey, I even bet that edgy teen from down the block wouldn’t mind getting a few bucks to play a video game.
As for the accidental dodges, I suspect you have the double-tap forward to dodge option on. So you should turn that off while doing things like this, or even take it off entirely. And I definitely agree with you about the mouse cursor , it can get lost really easily if there is a fair bit of visual noise going on.
Actually I have a wife that is not into computers, at all, and nobody i repeat NOBODY touches my computer anymore. I used to let others check their e-mail and do a bit of browsing while I was out, but after having to re-install my OS about 5 times I learned my lesson. Most of my family gratefully live nowhere near me, they may all be dead now too for all I know as we were never close (I worked for a living, they did not) .
The “grungy kid” down the block can’t even manage to stay on his skateboard most days but just loves to rattle the rotten thing over my sidewalk at 3 in the morning!
And actually I have learned to live with it, every jumping puzzle that is not on a timer I have paid mesmers to port me to. The timed ones I don’t even bother with, and if that means never getting a skin then so be it. Although I find it sad that I will never get that skin, I have about 5 full collections of BL skins to choose from when needed.
Maybe someday ANet will release a few more awesome looking skins similar to the mad memories back piece, till then I just buy skins I like. Thanks for the reply though.
I know its been suggested a billion times but hey here is one more. The addition of reward tracks from spvp added to wvw would revive wvw for me. That is all I got lol
Would defiantly be a deciding factor for my return too. I do want to see what the mysterious overhaul is first, but reward tracks would be kitten nice to see added.
(edited by Tommyknocker.6089)
I am not opposed to giving out criticism when I feel it is due, and have done so on many occasions. Honesty though I feel these changes are all for the better, or at very least worth testing.
Not rezzing in combat may seem like a problem, but it makes players more careful where they are standing and possible even make them rethink their gear. I would like to see them readdress the stability issues so as to put the pirate ship meta in check, but for now AT LEAST they are communicating with US.
I look forward to these changes, and they seem to be a step in the right direction. I still want to see the changes in the total overhaul, but thanks for listening to us here!

Before HoT, I always had a legitimate chance of acquiring a festival or event skin. The requirements were sensible.
Since HoT, I present Nightfury and Winter’s Presence….. The requirements for these skins are just nauseating.
When people talk about the grind in HoT, this is exactly the kind of thing they are talking about. You either have to grind for those drinks during the festival OR spend a ton of gold on drinks( cynical gold sinks also a trend since HoT)
On a side note Jumping puzzle requirement is crap. Prior to HoT jp’s were just a sideshow attraction. HoT is trying to turn my rpg into a platformer and that sucks.
Case in point, the Halloween back piece from 2012:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mad_Memoires:_Complete_Edition
Was received after doing a quest involving going places, defeating evil and generally just playing with other players. Everyone that tried to get one had one. There was no elitism involved and the gold sink/grind was non-existent.
Fast forward 3 years and we have nightfury
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Nightfury_Skin
Does nobody at ANet see the difference here? I know I sure do!
Point taken, but a game expansion is different from a holiday themed patch.
I was referring to the festivals only, but now that you mention it, why not in the Xpac too?
The way I see it you will have players reach the pinnacle of achievement in the first few days just to stand around in LA and “pose” (masteries for example). These players will always complete the content as quick as possible. Just because these players can achieve it quickly does not mean they need to make the mark higher and higher for the rest of us though IMO.
The second back piece I linked is a prime example of the direction I did not want to see ANet take in anything they introduce. Sure we all want our achievements to mean something, but when they become almost impossible to reach for the average full time worker, it makes the game less fun and more work. And although Xpacs are released slowly and are designed to give you long term goals, it still needs to find that fine line between enjoyable (Karka hunt in LA for example) and a total pain in the bottom (adventuring for collection pieces).
Well TBH, at least you have a good chance of seeing other players on the forums.
Complaining in WvW now, just produces echos.
I would do a dissertation on growing old and having neither the reflexes nor speed anymore to do jumping puzzles. However, I would probably end it by telling other players to get off my kitten lawn while forgetting what I was talking about in the first place!
edit: grammar (go figure)
Also to add to the OP, I do hope this guide helps others, I just prefer my games to be sans jumping.
(edited by Tommyknocker.6089)
It is a matter of taste. If you liked the relaxed atmosphere that was GW2 in the past, it has changed significantly in the amount of grinding you need to do, for less rewards. If however you like the new “challenge” of waiting for meta events to pop and doing raids you will like it.
Most of my casual guild only logs in for the dailies now and to do a bit of the festival. If you left due to boredom with a casual atmosphere then you might like it now, but I see less players when I do log in.
WvW is for all intent and purposes dead unless you like to do the T1 mega zerg thing. PvP seems to be doing well enough, well at least I think it is judging by the amount of yellow, green and blue tags I have seen.
Ultimately you need to be the judge.

Could we please quit it with the “get on my level nub” talk and instead let us have a rational discussion?
I too wanted the base areas to have more of a challenge and the zerger meta was boring and made every player a clone of each other player. A better approach to the base game, not talking HoT here yet, was to make some of the creatures immune, or resistant to certain things. I personally was hoping the increased challenge involved this world wide. If some creatures were much much tougher but were susceptible to bleeds for example it would make for far fewer clones in the world.
And this is what I though the “new challenging content” would be. I am not being foolhardy in this assumption either as the new modrem (SW) showed they had the ability to do just that to certain creatures.
Now on to HoT, I do not personally mind the tougher creatures, and I am an old dude, what I do mind is that the content is gated behind timers. I have a life, I have a family, and I have many things I need to do on an average day. What I don’t have most days is the time to log in and wait an hour or more for the meta to arrive.
Others have said that you can join at any time, but there is the rub. Once you have contributed to the map you get rewards based upon participation after a certain period of time, and if I have to leave after ten minutes all my rewards are forfeit! Joining a map only for the meta to pop is an option, but you need the map currency in many cases to get all the rewards and that is gotten from doing events leading up to the meta.
I suppose you could do a few events and log off (hoping you got some of the map currency) and join a meta run later (providing you can hit the timer correctly), but why not just give the currency upon completion of events and kill the timer completely basing it instead like SW.
I suppose what I am trying to say is that the new challenge is basically how many hoops you want to jump through to get to the shiney. I personally liked the old way of doing things that allowed you to do things when YOU had the time and not when you could make time.

Years of disdain in the many “face-roll easy” posts about the game had to sting.
So, they should listen to the couple dozen loud voices and ignore millions of their other players?
Except you don’t know what “millions of other players” want because they didn’t post. You only think you know what they want based on what you want.
If millions of players had been so upset that things had changed we might have seen millions of posts.

MMO gaming will never be targeted to the elderly. That’s just not the realistic target audience of a MMO…especially not an action based one. I’m not young anymore either, so there are things that I struggle with as well. I do not expect this genre of gaming to cater to that….I’d be up for a lot of disappointment with that expectation. That’s like expecting pro sports leagues to introduce and maintain a special league for retired players…not really going to happen. Good luck on finding that unicorn. …snip
At this point I would be happier with an old folks club of MMO’s than I am with the direction ANet has taken with e-sports and verticallity.
But thanks for your support in finding a Unicorn; they do amazing things with DNA now I hear!

It is still very casual friendly, just not friendly to bad players who are unwilling to improve. Casual does not equal bad player. Even players with a low amount of time can play very well if they desire.
And that in a nutshell is the problem with the direction ANet has taken. When it was first introduced it was advertised as the game for those that don’t like the traditional MMO. Friendly atmosphere, no grind, no “I swing a sword again”.
But the current iteration is EXACTLY what many of us were running away from!
The entire “get gud” attitude was something I never wanted to see in this game, now it seems that GW2 is no better than any other WOW clone out there.
Good luck finding any MMO that can survive long term, without any type of challenging content for their players.
The thing is that I am not alone in my wishes and eventually an MMO will come out that caters to our way of wanting to play. Where the money goes so does the direction of the gaming industry, and many of us older players are the ones with the means to propel the industry where we want it to go.
And truth be told, I found many of the starting areas boring as well, and wanted some improvement in the challenge the mobs offered to me. I did not however want the new challenge" to be gated behind timers or 99% meta events.
Also, and TBH many of us cannot “improve” beyond a certain point due to age, muscle problems, bad connections, the list goes on. So telling us to improve is just an insult as we are indeed doing the best we can!

Anet is making a game for everyone. I would assume the top 10% of the active playerbase puts in over 50% of the total hours played. So if Anet would bore them away, the (ultra) casuals would have much less people to play with.
Ah yes, but I am positive you would never hear any of them yelling “GET GUD NUB” in map chat. And in all honesty, I would play that game, unlike just logging in for dailies like I do now.

Firstly, WOW Vayne actually (more or less) agrees with a couple of posts from me.
Secondly, weather or not it was advertised (still debatable IMO) as being grind free, it was advertised as being an MMO unlike any other one out there, which it is not anymore. I do know that if for 2 years if I was eating soft boiled eggs and then someone replaced them with pickled eggs I might just be a bit upset. It is not even up for debate that they nerfed all rewards when HoT came out so, NO, it is not the same game I played at launch.
Thirdly, ANet may have though they had their core down, but as these forum, and my now empty guild, have shown they have misjudged.
And finally, even though many many players including yourself still play, it does in no way make their decision the correct one IMO.
Edit to add:
I also liked to see the creatures in the world get a buff, but I did not want all the new maps to be locked behind timers in the process. I also don’t mind that they added raids (kinda), but in the process they locked out all the rewards that they offer to the exclusivity of raiding, hence adding elitism that was not (usually) there in PvE.

Does nobody at ANet see the difference here? I know I sure do!
WTF christmas! every year we do the same things! we make the same tree, we always do the same dinner in family…boooooring.
Guys…the level of complaints is blowing out of proportion, i feel….yes is the same, you know, there are new players, that haven’t experienced that last year…it’s not about new content, is about the spirit and feeling the festivities…
Anyway we still have the Snowfury to makeGosh…
Real world
Same type of tree. Check.
Same type of dinner. Check.
Same family. Check
Same presents? Not even close for obvious reasons.
This MMO
Same trees. Check.
Same food/drinks. Save a few new ones for a grindy achievement check.
Same guildies. More or less check.
Same presents? Well aside for the new one that you mentioned which is not only a grind, but a total gold sink. Check.
And in all honestly I would not mind if we got the things we got in 2012 again as it gave you the feeling of the season when you went to other places. After all IMO if they are trying to make new players experience what ANet has to offer then why bring back last year when 2012 was FAR more epic?
By this year I was expecting them to actually add to the events of the first year, as the code was already there, NOT diminish them to the point they are at now. If many players are having fun there than good on them, but these new “pocket festivals” should have been the intro events and not the end result of 3 years, again IMO.
(edited by Tommyknocker.6089)
I don’t mind the same events again, but getting the Winter’s Presence shoulder item is almost kitten near impossible for someone like me. By including the timed jumping puzzle as a requirement is just mean. I have a hard time already with the regular jumping puzzles due to my limited hand dexterity, but timed ones are just out of the question for me. Please Anet remove the JP requirement. I’ll do the other ones I promise!
Sorry, but you are no longer their target audience IMO. If you don’t like jumping puzzles, verticallity or PvP you best move on as these are now their focus. Unfortunate like many people this game was my home for years and now I feel like an unwanted guest.
Yes I can continue to do the things I did for years, only with majorly reduced rewards due to the f2p model nerfing all save SW (boring). Yes I can continue to explore the same old maps, but after waiting for a year, instead of the 2 week schedule, I grew bored. HoT maps are just a large time sink and grind fest and already have a job, thanks. Festivals getting the gloss over treatment is just one more disappointment in this new “iteration” of GW2.

(edited by Tommyknocker.6089)
The first Wintersday and the first Halloween in 2012 beat these “small pocket” festivals hands down.
Remember when you could explore Gendaran Fields and open presents or doors? I do.
Remember when you could go to a different city and meet up with tixx or carve punpkins in queensdale? I do too.
Since then all the festivals are just a pale representation of the glory that was.
Only good thing is that they add to my daily total so I can log out quicker.
Oh and sorry OP but they don’t need damage and healing meters in GW2 (same goes for inspect) as that is not what the original idea was (manifesto), but at this point they may as well add them.
There is no manifesto. The only possible manifesto we’ve ever heard was “everything is always on the table.”
Well that is now self-evident. Like I said though they may as well add them along with open world dueling, capes, mounts and whatever else they want to “put on the table”.
Other than doing my dailies and hanging out with my buddies I no longer enjoy the the game. If they want to make it WoW 2.0 at this point it would not bother me; bring on the e-sport mods.
If however in the future they try to cater more to ALL play styles then I may start playing more regularly seeing as I have every class. But sadly at this point with zero dev feedback or communication on most forums (save PvP), I do not see that happening in my lifetime.
The constant focus on e-sports and “verticallity” made me move on; not even going to get started on WvW. I originally joined the game to “play with others” in a friendly environment to defeat the evil of the day. It seems that the more they add the more they move away from this and thus I voted with my feet.
I still keep an eye on the forums and do my dailies (some days), mostly due to long time friends I have made here, but unless they change their focus I will stay out.
Oh and sorry OP but they don’t need damage and healing meters in GW2 (same goes for inspect) as that is not what the original idea was (manifesto), but at this point they may as well add them.
I can handle change just fine, I am currently learning a whole new game that I am playing. I would still be playing WvW in GW2, but after 3 years of beating on that dead horse I moved on.
Well I played the game for 3 years. The last year was spent in anticipation of HoT. I am currently playing something else that has WvW quite like what GW2 used to have. As far the new mastery/xp systems they added it began to feel to much like work for me trying to find open adventures, maps etc., so I moved on. I am sure many enjoy this new system, but I already have a full schedule and all I wanted out of a game was a place to log into and kill a little time relaxing.
I still do my dailies (for now), and I still do guild missions with my friends, but I’m more or less out. I didn’t want a game that makes me follow a bus schedule to have fun. I may return someday if they make another xpac more suitable to someone like me, so no you cannot have my stuff!

My point stands, if you spend 17 gold (apx) to overwrite your runes, it is still far cheaper than making another full set of ascended.
Another point is that if you want to have a power build with scholar runes as a permanet fixture, you still have more choice over ascended as you can go with assassiins/berserkers/knights etc.ect. with legendary, for when facing tougher/easier content. The guy with ascended is still hooped.
Besides I feel with the amount of complaining going on currently about runes and sigils being destroyed when you switch, ANet will most likely do something about that too.

Legendary gear has the same stats as ascended gear. /thread
^This precisely. Legendary armor is NOT a new gear tier. I don’t know why people still can’t wrap their head around this.
Well there are two schools of thought here.
1) It has the same stats as ascended so therefore I have the best with ascended so I don’t need legendary so long as I never change my build.
2) I know this content needs condi and all I have is this set of zerger, good thing it is legendary. Fast forward 2 minutes, “OK guys all set”.
As for not being a higher tier, there is absolutely no argument that one offers a ton of leeway in what you can do with it and the other gives nothing more than the stats you choose upon creation. You can change the stats on your ascended with a mystic toilet recipe now, but that again requires inscriptions, shards and ectos to do and is therefore not as convenient.
I am of the belief that if you have legendary you are in a much better position than the guy that has only ascended so therefore I consider it a new tier.
My typical evening generally goes as follows now:
Log in and get my daily, and do the three easiest chores for my AP.
Farm my home for for my nodes; usually this removes one of the chores.
Go do teq, get nothing, , then log out to play something else.
I could wait until a HoT meta is ready to be done, I could go work on getting more masteries that I, in return, must grind more XPs for, but I find neither to be fun. And as I play games to have fun it seems counterproductive to work at them.
I cannot understand why games need to chance their core principles in order to feel they are benefiting the community. All I really wanted in the Xpac was a few more maps like the ones in core Tyria, with maybe new legendaries/dungeons etc.. The current iteration since they went F2P is terrible IMO so even though I still play, I only do so until I see what they do next.

One month in from HoT and most of my WvW guild is absent now. Not switch guilds but still playing other content, just not playing at all. My guild consisted of about 40 players, so I would have to say 37 or so have left.
Not a true test of who has left I’ll admit, but to me a very poignant one.
I have dodged 85% of all waves, cleansed every fear quickly, never stood in a red circle and participated in every bloody phase for over a year now and all I ever got was the mini. BTW only pressing 1 in battle (close range) with teq is a sure fire way to waypoint ville.
I don’t know what gods I need to play to, but so far swearing at my monitor isn’t working.
Edit: Defiantly a good candidate for a token system. X tokens (spoons) can be traded in for a horde or ascended chest. Even if it took a year, it would be worth it as you would work toward something at least.

Since when did GW2 become a Hardcore MMO?
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

I would like to see also open world content, which encourages the use of any other gear except zerker.
Right after they introduce a working builds system.
So Soon™ right, right?!?
I’m actually fine with ascended being needed in some new content. I am also fine with most of HoT being designed for people that like to live and die by a timer. I’m even good with titles and armor that can be earned there so long as they offer no inherent gain or significant power creep.
What I am not happy with is an Xpac that offers next to nothing for the play style that the game was initially focused on after waiting a year for it! I’m currently spending most of my time in core areas due to not wanting to “wait to have fun”. And with the way RNG and the “new” revised content is set up I will most likely never see another ascended drop and I sure as kitten won’t craft one due to cost.
You have your silly “pact commander auto loot” for PvE, Icons and tournaments for pvps, WvW gets these maps that break everything people loved about it. What gives?!!?!?!? where is my silly little icon next to my name for wvw?
Well just like in real life, some people get the gold mine and others get the shaft.
Care to guess what we are getting?
The portable washrooms beside the mine shaft?
Touche!

I earned my PvP icon (mine happens to be the green one because I spent some time getting to the next level), the same as you earned your World Complete Icon. If you don’t like it, just turn off name plates. I should be allowed to show off my icon anywhere I want to.
I earned my WvW rank too (platinum in “real” WvW), where is my icon?
Why should you as a PvP player that already gets tons of extras including tracks and the xp boosts every other weekend get more than I do? You might want to reevaluate your ego here, some of us have achieved milestones too yet we get nothing for it.
I’d have em go back to 2012 when the dream was just becoming a reality.
Was it perfect, no it had many bugs. Was it enjoyable without all the grind, kitten yes.
I even enjoyed the zergfest content that was season 1 as it promoted a more friendly atmosphere than what we have now. Not to mention constant updates and no 1 year hiatus for content that is just a rehashed telling of silverwastes on timers. At the time I disliked Scarlet too, but compared to this XPac, I wish someone would resurrect the kitten!
If I cannot show off my WvW rank in PvE then why should I be able to see your PvP ranking?
Guild Wars 2 one year ago.
One year ago we were waiting for HOT. I would make it 3 years ago myself.
2012, was a much better year.
I wish I had a time machine as I would go back to 2012 and enjoy the best MMO experience I have even had. Now, like most of my guild, it seems I may be looking for a new MMO to play. And that is so sad because at one time I though they had the whole MMO experience down to a science.
Well I only WvW, and it saddens me that my rank is not displayed to those on my side around me, yet I get to see these ugly yellow boxes in WvW. Thanks ANET, once again, I guess needed to be reminded that I am not your target audience.
It is bad enough they get a PvP bonus almost every weekend. It is bad enough that I must see your advertisements on all my loading screens, but this just takes the cake for me. Guess I’m off to play something else until us WvWer are treated less like garbage.
