The map have some serious bugs like one time I couldn’t swap weapon the entire match AT ALL. Dunno how this happened and I fail to duplicate the bug. It needs polishing, yes.

That’s not a map bug, that’s a game bug that happens for under some absolutely bewildering conditions. You can fix it by opening the hero menu, and hitting the swap button on the screen.

Unless you got some really strange bug that doesn’t even let you do that.

Separating Solo and Premade; Ques and MMR

in PvP

Posted by: Vena.8436

Vena.8436

Just adding a MMR compensation system for solos versus pre-made. There is another post detailing this idea.

I pride myself on being able to beat a pre-made, but I would like this compensation system to be in place. Also this would mean two times will still be very short. This compensation system takes less work to implement than the separate queues so let’s try the compensation system first.

The system would naturally arise once they start putting up the in-game ladder later in the month from the MMR and hidden ranking. People can infer where “best of solo” lands on the overall bracket since, in theory, the ratings will eventually settle, more or less.

Once you start climbing so high on the inferred solo ladder that the teams start to become more and more premade and less and less solo, that is to say you reach the peak of solo, its time to move to premade. Like I said in the thread on queue splitting, I think the reasons they are going with this is (a.) the pop is low, and (b.) it gives new teams and players something of a ladder: solo → form team → play mix & match of vs. skilled (high on the relative ladder) solo or equal teams → fight teams → fight the best teams. Whereas, if they were to split the queue, the pop is just a bit too low to really support team except for at extremes and you’ll end up with No Names vs. Curse scenarios (but everyone in solo would be pretty happy).

He means we’re bored of 1v1 on Spirit Watch for a whole week. Tyler (iirc) floated the idea of rotating a map every day, and I think that’d be better than the current set-up, since developing a full randomization may take some time and shift resources away from where they need to be.

Given that this is happening repeatedly to the same people, while others are perfectly fine, this may be a middle-man problem of sorts between communications of their server and the ISP hubs to which they connect. To wit, there would be nothing anyone could do about this and it just has to sort itself out.

I am still a bit curious why the devs cannot roll out a multiplier bonus (one off affect) that takes all pre-registered kills in WvW and multiplies them by the lowest common denominator. Lowest common would ensure no one gets over compensated and most of us just want to be compensated in some form. Do likewise for the many events that the system is already keeping track of and just multiply across the board and add it to our characters.

I don’t really see why this would be so hard, or even bad for that matter. These passive hardly sound game-breaking in any aspect and are more an avenue for good long term horizontal progression (option weighing and opportunity costs, assuming you can only equip X out of Y skills at any one time).

On the plus side, our badges are not being wasted or made obsolete as far as I can tell. Which is nice.

Will WvW finally get its own Ascended items? <(q.q<)

"Solo" Que

in PvP

Posted by: Vena.8436

Vena.8436

Nah, I think the term “rent-able custom servers” was misunderstood by a lot of people: they simply meant custom game creation. And any monetization other than cosmetics VIA the cash shop would likely hurt the generated income of spvp rather than boost it.
We have to think of sPvP as a newborn child; it needs to be nurtured and developed very carefully in a way that’s healthy for it’s growth so that down the road, we can hit adulthood (esports) and have a powerful infrastructure.

The original idea was probably to have them literally be rentable for money/tickets/something from the shop for long periods of time. That’s not really going to fly with so little a population though and that plan likely went the way of the paid tournies, or I hope it did.

The quaggan plushies probably made them more money in a day then all of paids ever did.

"Solo" Que

in PvP

Posted by: Vena.8436

Vena.8436

I agree with what you’re saying, but I think that suggestion can be easily adapted to this:

1. Make the 1-round tournament que ‘’join solo’’ only
2. Make the 3-round tournament work as it does now

There. One for solo-only, the other working the way tourneys currently work in-game. It might not be a perfect solution, but it’ll probably be (I guess) the best way to implement what everyone is suggesting without investing too many resources into it. And then you can just polish that system in the future, by transforming the solo queue into a solo/ duo queue for added flexibility, etc.

Teams would never get a pop or new teams get pitted against the top teams in the game, and I think that’s what the devs are afraid of (and a problem we had with paids before, the skill disparity is too large at the moment).

It sucks for the high bracket either way (stomp pugs or stomp flies while waiting on queue), but its especially onerous for new teams who’d only have one option: queue up against premades that far out rank them because there’s no one else in team queue. As it currently stands, in an environment that cannot support both, this supports new teams “in theory” and will eventually support solo-q’s better “in theory” when the ratings settle.

Yes, no solo-q player will ever be gold amongst golds, but the playerbase should be able to discern a good solo-q from a bad solo-q once ladders are active and we infer a sort of pseudo-solo ranking.

Poll here. Do you want solo and duo queue?

in Community Creations

Vena.8436

I don’t see why we don’t just scrap 3-round for a dedicated solo/duo 1-round alternative, and make the current 1-round be pre-made only. Of course, I understand that pre-made will effectively have all of ten teams in it playing, but at least we’d have a much better environment for solo/duo than we do now. (I don’t really have an opinion one way or the other atm, though, since my solo-q experience has been pretty decent… because I suck. >.>)

Admittedly, I understand the fear here, though. If they do split the queues, there’s going to be a barren wasteland where pre-mades go because we currently don’t have a large, stable population to split over solo/duo (which is most of us) and full teams (which is not many of us). Of course, one could just as easily say that the pre-mades are likely bored out of their mind crushing solo/duo pugs… but then they’d be just as bored out of their minds waiting in queue for someone to show up or from playing the same team, with the same comp, for the nth time.

I honestly don’t know just how good “the good” solution is at the moment.

Either way, full teams are either going to have an easy match or no match at all most of the time, with the occasional team finding their way into play. The solo queuers will be happy but one could argue that once the ratings settle, that they’d be happy anyway with the occasional “uh oh” moment if they start getting too good. (Which one could argue would be a kick to the kitten to get a move on on making a team.)

When they release the in-game scoreboards, we’re going to quickly be able to deduce where a good solo-q ranks even if its not at the top.

RtL is still a bit too good compared to all the other leaps in the game, allowing elementalist to jump to the orb before anyone else. The longer CD does not affect thing, unfortunately, making the elementalist almost required for orb control.

It really should be toned down to the same range as other leaps.

Ladder was not for the patch, its a post patch addition that will come before the March patch.

The devs think that matching solo queue players vs premades is fair so any rating system is irrelevent anyway.

-People have been talking about map changes, especially the lake area. Anet has been saying they are looking at changes to wvw to help alleviate certain issues which map changes would help fix.

But he never said anything about this in terms of time-lines. The only thing he said is: No new map. That doesn’t preclude any of the others things and he himself didn’t preclude any of them, he just didn’t give a timeline for good reason.

-I was quite aware of the loot issue he was addressing.

This is hardly an issue. Its an inconvenience at best. Complaining about this, out of all the things to complain about, is bewildering.

-I don’t care about whether or not a date for culling was given. I’m not digging through dev notes but I swear they said it would be in 2 patches, Jan 28th and the wvw patch coming up but whatever. That’s irrelevant because as Ferguson admits it is (or should be despite what they are actually working on) the 1st issue fixed before anything else gets finished. If they can’t afford more programmers, the other programmers that have the ability to work on culling should be taken off their current assignments to help fix it as far as I’m concerned.

Network programmer =/= engine programmer =/= X programmer.

You cannot just pull a “programmer” from a different project. Programmer is not one set of skills, its any number of different specializations. You’re not going to call in a dermatologist for brain surgery.

The real issue is this:

For weeks our pleas for answers on both the reduction in pop caps and the queue issue were disregarded, allowing over 5 threads to be permeated with truth, untruth, fact and fiction when he knew all the while it was true and said nothing. That sort of shadiness doesn’t sit well with me and I now have zero respect for this person and his messages.

Sad a state as sPvP is in, at least their developers actively inform them of changes and talk to them. All we get is moderation on this forum or Colin coming to get shot by an angry mob.

Mmkay:

  • No new map: Shouldn’t have expected this since it has not even been discussed. (So you’re complaining about a non-thing that no one promised you nor should you have expected.)
  • No loot changes: You’ve drawn a blanket conclusion by ignoring the question, what was asked was: “loot can not be placed directly in the inventory” and answered with a: “no” (and frankly this isn’t exactly a pressing issue), this does not preclude loot changes (considering that the progression system itself is partly about loot changes, this makes the statement you made an extension on a point that wasn’t made).
  • No culling fix: No date was given.
  • No queues fix: Yes, this one indeed is valid.

Meanwhile you missed the one thing that actually been a hot topic for a while:

Except that was not what he meant, and you’re being obtuse for the sake of being obtuse. He’s referring to creating, from scratch, a well tweaked, well tuned map for a competitive environment. Once TESO or Archage or any new thing that comes out that can offer Open World PvP like it was meant to be, then this game is done.

Because you know anything about those games besides words and promises (and Archage having dated combat and TESO losing more and more of its TES identity)? I can understand hope but you’re pretty much making yourself wait for Godot, just don’t hang yourself by the last chapter.

ANet is pretty much still in the midst of repaying their debts to NCSoft and, as we’ve seen with CoH, the company doesn’t give a kitten if it sinks a complete franchise so long as it can cash in. These are the burdens of being a subsidiary of a company with so many products that it can hardly bat an eye at killing a game for near term product, and also the end of the stick for a format (WvW) that they (ANet) never intended to be as competitive or popular as it became.

WvW won't become what we hoped it would

in WvW

Posted by: Vena.8436

Vena.8436

I don’t buy this argument for a second, even though ANet is extremely fond of repeating it ad nauseum.

Pre-launch, the VAST majority of guilds were WvW guilds. As a guild leader who created a guild and scoped other guilds for ideas, inspiration and structure, I know this. I saw most guilds were either WvW oriented, or PvX with a WvW focus. WvW was talked about constantly by everybody pre-release.

What relevance does pre-launch have on the overall development cycle and planning that had occurred for years prior? There was a whole internal structure designed and development teams built and readied for what the game had been designed for for years in advance, and inner workings like that don’t change over night.

They first needed to be successful, then they needed to hire where their dominant business lay (PvE), and then they needed to hire everywhere else. This sort of shake up/down takes time. And after you do that, content isn’t some magical creation that gets spit out of a nebulous “GO!” button. Many, many coders and programmers were also likely lost in translation to bug fixes and many other little things all over. (Take for example, if we are to believe the current work on culling then at least one whole developer and his team are completely lost in what is effectively rebuilding the entire engine such that it can properly compress and send data for bigger encounters.) Here’s a more telling example, even, to develop a map for WvW (which is nothing at all like spitting out a pointless map like SSC) would take the whole development team six months of design, testing, and balancing to finalize. That’s one map and its perfectly understandable when you think about just how much detail has to be put into such a map for it to work properly.

I’d love for stuff to come out nice and fast, but I saw what that amounted to in November (Karka) and I think that ANet also saw what that amounted to so… many of the promised features have been pushed back such that we don’t get that same recurrence (be it test of concept, or just a polishing). I want stuff, ya, everyone does, but I want it to work properly more than anything. If they take their time and deliver? I’ll be happy. (Coding has a rule of thumb: on time, on budget, or bug free. Pick two… or, a lot of times, pick one.)

I don’t even know where your statistic on guilds even comes from when I am almost certain that the guilds, at and pre-launch, were: PvE >>>> sPvP/WvW. The former’s population is just so much larger than I cannot even begin to fathom how you’d figure that the majority of guilds would be anything but PvE focused.

Why are you still giving us the same bullkitten excuse in February!!! that you didn’t know how popular it was going to be?

At some point, we have to stop giving ANet a free pass and begin to hold them accountable for their handling of the product they sold to us with an expectation of timely, quality service.

I’m not giving them a free pass, I’m thinking about this logically and based on how they, as the designers, had foreseen the use and growth of WvW. I don’t like how long its taken for things to get done, I’m not happy with it, but I’m not blinded by rage to understand that businesses and game development are complex entities.

Its also fairly obvious that this game was rushed out, I said this before, and this is likely from the higher command (you can deduce as much from watching NCSoft’s earnings and struggling in the months prior to GW2’s release and then subsequent massive jump). But this is how games are made nowadays, its not on the developers but on time tables as to when things launch. The game came out unfinished, they were in a frenzy to finish it, and many things took second seat to fixing the biggest draw of people: PvE.

(You know what might be a nice surprise? If these guild missions bring about some new WvW related guild things as well.)

in WvW

Posted by: Vena.8436

Vena.8436

Not saying it shouldn’t, but zergs shoudn’t be the only game in town.

They aren’t.

Guild groups are far more powerful than any zerg, unless guild groups suddenly count as a zerg. A properly coordinated guild group, even with randoms (like myself), will be able to hold choke points and use terrain to their advantage to beat superior numbers even with disparagingly large player ratios. Blackgate did this tonight, on a bridge (amongst other places, but the bridge was a glorious moment), for ten minutes, against both other servers’ zergs in EBG.

Why does this, a fairly regular activity for BG and its coordinated guilds, not count? This is purely skill + coordination, beating superior numbers. Is that not what everyone is crying about?

I guess I took that gamble when creating a guild but kitten if I didn’t think that this game was the one and that Arenanet actually had commitment to their product. This game type’s failure has cost me some friends and that is the biggest disappointment.

To be fair there are two things to note:
(1.) This happens anyway no matter the scenario, people move around and, in this case in particular, there’s no figurative leash on their necks (the sub fee).
(2.) When the game was in development, WvW was not really shipped or intended or even seen as what it has become (they spoke of it, if you really dig through their interviews, as a place for open world PvP, for PvErs to do some thing for their server, and for servers to have a passive buff. Its like an extended, expanded version of HoH from Guild Wars 1). I doubt ANet expected its explosive popularity, its large waves of praise, and, in many ways, they were caught unawares to what good they had made.

You can even see this in how it was developed and manned post release, with a paltry three developers on the specific team, its clear that they didn’t expect what they got. Largely, the competitive side of this game is a complete woop, they expended a lot more from their sPvP and for a competitive scene to form but ended up with an explosively popular and competitive WvW.

Whats important is what we get moving forward. If they have wised up then we should expect good things. (And, honestly, I think they actually realized this in November when they first started talking about new mechanics like “beacons” but when they got around to making it they found two things that seem to be becoming rather apparent: understaffed so development takes time or is buggy to all hell, and that their ideas need to really be thought out better for this game type because it really is their golden goose.) If they can put even a 1/10 of the meticulous planning and design they put into the original maps, I’m going to be very happy.

This is really for another thread and I should get around to writing one, but we need to organize an AMA with the new hires, talk with them, learn from them and what they are going to be doing, because Habib has talked and he’s a great guy and programmer but we need to speak more with the creative staff than we do now.

- They do not require a subscription
- Do not feature a continuous gear grind where gear is king and skill/build is second.
- Does not require macro/3rd party utilities to be competitive.

Oh, I didn’t know we were talking about Guild Wars 1.

Or Guild Wars 2…

… Mostly. They just need to add that silly pink gear to WvW where it belongs.

the culling issue has been in the game since release… they have had 6 months to fix it!

1 person for 6 months working on the culling issue is alot of man hours, no considering its a HUGE fail not seeing your enemy you would imagine a team of atleast 5 working on that… thats a hell of alot of man hours and should of been fixed by now. My guess is they cant fix it and they are hoping people stop playing to make it fix it self.. but even that isnt working

The culling issue is at the very core of their engine optimization (ie. there is none because this game was rather clearly forced out by the higher ups to appease sales, and if you don’t believe me, follow the NCSoft earnings to before and after GW2 release). They need more than one guy to fix this and hopefully the new staff will go a long way in helping to fix it.

I’d wager that there’s also a lot of programming guess work going into their optimization attempts as they need to still have the game function on toasters.

1. Commander is an absolute mess
2. The roles/rewards/recognition of Guilds in a game called ‘Guild Wars’ is lacking
3. WvW has devolved into ZvZ (ZergvZerg)
4. The lack of Rewards/Progression/Depth/Consequence
5. The devs, their implementation of and lack of commitment to Wvw

Some of this I agree with, some of it not so much.

Things I agree with and things that I don’t think need any elaboration upon: #1, #4, #5. I lied a bit and will say that I hope the new hires will come out of the woodwork and post on these forums. I would love to hear from them, see what they are working on, and engage in a conversation similar to what the Jons are doing for sPvP. That’s how you fix something that’s broken, not by remaining a deaf mute. (Also #4 is on the way to getting fixed, and I really like the sound of WvW-only skills to make it such that we don’t need 30 mesmers, or 30 eles, by placing key utility skills in the skill bracket.)

But I really don’t agree with #2 and #3 in full, at least.

#2:
For us, on Blackgate, guilds are recognized as are the commanders who don’t even need tags to lead: Smokee, Riven, Graphicardo, Sladie, etc. Greatly in fact. That banner in the sky? Is it KnT? Is it HB? Is it Urge? Is it Thai? Is it ICoa? Is it LotD? Is it GoF? Is it RK? Is it my tiny guild that no one knows about and I won’t tell anyone anything about? (At this point, even other servers know HB’s tag and run away from them.) (I hope I didn’t forget anyone… please don’t kill me!) I understand the view of the point that the game does not reward guilds with “things” for doing “guild things” and I do agree that it can be certainly worked on, but to say that Guilds don’t get recognized is a bit odd (especially since all of us at BG know your guild, RG). The game doesn’t need to tell me XYZ took PQR, I know and everyone on the map knows who took what by paying attention in TS, in map chat, and just by recognizing the tags running around. Even a ninja take is celebrated and recognized. I don’t see why my screen needs to be cluttered with announcements for something I’m already well aware of…

Do these guilds deserve a greater reward? I think so, yes. And I hope that (given the upcoming developments of guilds in general in the Feb patch, and the progression system in the March patch) they will get their just deserts. That said I don’t think that guild’s or their good commanders (and in this way I’m partially disagreeing with #1 as well) go unrecognized in the least.

#3:
Zergs are a big part of WvW, they are a big part of any large scale conflict, but I wouldn’t say or agree that the game has degenerated into just that. I don’t consider the 20 something people of HB that I usually run with a zerg, yet they will readily run into and fight said much larger zergs and shatter them. When big guilds fight big guilds, I don’t see this as ZvZ, I see this as coordinated teams vs. one another. There are videos of guilds and teams holding off stupidly uneven numbers with proper and coordinated team play, using choke points, using flanks. This is not zerg combat, this is tactical combat.

I can’t really say more than that and nothing will ever really change that people like numbers, and they feel safe in numbers even if its an uncoordinated mess. This is human nature: the more people around you, the less likely you are of getting hurt or killed. Uncapping AoE isn’t going to help this, its just going to make AoE spam all the more dominant (you can’t even get near a door during a siege before the fifty billion fireballs, swirls, and doom booms, turn you into pudding in three seconds flat) and I don’t see why 5 people should win against 30 if all they do is AoE spam just because AoE has no upper cap (can you imagine how stupid this would be with current gen thieves? They just stealth into a group and AoE daggerstorm everyone to death because they can). 5 people winning against 30 with good play (which people accomplish, though perhaps the disparity is not quite as large as 6:1) is what I want to see.

Wee, that was long.

There are many things that need fixing, addressing, and doing, but I don’t think WvW is as broken as you make it out to be (I stand by my regular statement that I make on our BG forums that the core of WvW is good, it just needs loving and the onus of this is on the devs… also I greatly agree with other who say that we need to organize a SotG or AMA at the very least, light a fire under their kitten so to speak) nor is it unsavable. Your image of what it might need to be may not be the reality of what we achieve but that is usually par for the course; we all have grand ideas that we think are what serve everyone best but we oft skirt the issue that opinions vary and our own are not the only ones.

Are Rangers Trap CD "working as intended"?

in PvP

Vena.8436

You cant do back to back turrets..
Not to mention traps CD is ridiculously low as it is they have the best design in terms of cool down. Turrets dont have a CD decrease trait, and some of them are 60 second cooldown, not to mention all their garbage tool belt skills are strangely really high cool down as well (thumper turret tool belt skill 90 second CD wth?)

You seem to have misunderstood.

Put down a turret and wait for around five or so minutes (might actually be ten, I have never bothered to actually count it, since it would be dumb to depend on such a strategy), its “power up mode” will expire on your skill bar and you will simply have the place turret X skill back again even if your turret is still active. (Though I did remember incorrectly in that you cannot detonate them as even the F# skill resets as well).

So yes, indeed you can place turrets back-to-back, it just takes forever for the skill on your bar to “refresh” and, as I said, this may just be a bug and completely unintentional.

Turrets are basically traps in a sense and it doesn’t seem one bit fair that if ours explode we are left defenseless for 30-60 seconds don’t you think?

Turrets will actually “reset” on bar after a few minutes of activity, which, I know, isn’t what you meant, but there is a cooldown there as well its just really, really long (or bugged) and you can place back-to-back turrets even if you detonate them.

The low-down on the "Solo-Queue" Fiasco

I’d kill frees as they are atm off entirely. Get rid of 8v8, its stupid and no map is designed for it.

If you can’t/don’t have the tech for solo/team queue split in paids, then make free the same structure as paids (solo/team queue) but free with crap rewards and no ranking where people can play free, quick, and practice, and without fear of ever getting their rating smacked around. This way, at least, we strike a bit of a middle-ground where people can practice. (Though then I’m a bit worried that this would split the pop unhealthily.)

This leaves us with three formats: 5v5 hot-join (might want to trash this too), free 1v1, and paid & ranked 1v1. Round off each week (on the weekends) and month with a tourney.

There just needs to be a separate solo queue. There is no way around it.

It will split the population, not helpful at the moment.

The biggest problem is the combined ranking hits. =/

They could just as easily scale the rating gains/loses based on how you queue (and I’m making these numbers up here just to make the point):

  • Randoms vs. Randoms – 1:1 rating scaling.
  • Randoms vs. 3R + 2T – .8:1 rating scaling.
  • Randoms vs. 2R + 3T – .6:1 rating scaling.
  • Randoms vs. 1R + 4T – .4:1 rating scaling.
  • Randoms vs. Team – .2:1 rating scaling.
  • 3R + 2T vs 3R + 2T – 1:1 rating scaling.
  • 2R + 3T vs 2R + 3T – 1:1 rating scaling.
  • 4T+1R vs. 4T+1R – 1:1 rating scaling.
  • Team vs. Team – 1:1 rating scaling.

Or that may just be a terrible idea.

WvWvW Queues issue [Merged Threads]

in WvW

There has been feedback from others on lower tier servers that queues are also happening there. Anet appear to have decreased the pop limit and this may have exacerbated the issues with the inconcistency in the queueing. Plus even on the higher tiers the queues are far far longer than they were when free transfers stopped.

If that was the case and an intentional change, they really need to let us know.

I ran all over BG EBG after a half hour queue, and I found at most 60 to (and this is an estimation stretch on how many people are scattered the map over and the JP) 80 people. This seems in line with what others have reported for numbers, though some have reported as low as 20-30 still with a queue.

Ok. You found a claim in a misspelled post in a thread I skipped due to a misspelled title. I don’t give much merit to that claim honestly.

The spelling is irrelevant because you should have been able to realize what the thread is about, and many people reporting similar issues across the board. In such a scenario not giving credit to the claim, when other claims that seem to follow the same trend are occurring all over, is just plain and willful reasoning bias/blindness.

First, I ignored your quoted statements due to the fact that they are based on pure conjecture. There is a large body of data spanning years of game and social interaction that states that the most vocal of a given group will often be a small portion of said group. Hence the often-used term “Vocal Minority”.

Irrelevant again. You seem to fail to grasp how Tier 1/2 works, “vocal minority” is a nonsensical term to throw around because you are conveniently ignoring the fact that willful silence in T1/2 can mean losing a fully upgraded keep and no one is going to let that happen. Randoms pop up in chat frequently making reports, thats how servers can have eyes everywhere. The top tiers are all about communication, people talk, and somehow trying to claim vocal minority is nonsense. Yes, sometimes people will be silent and won’t say anything, but to somehow think the majority just sit with their mouths sowed shut in a competitive environment where communication can mean victory or defeat, holding or losing a valuable asset, is gibberish.

People will respond to a head count, just as they respond to a supply count in /s. Or are we going to argue that the majority of a zerg is going to sit on their kitten not reporting available supply in the middle of a siege?

Straw Man

You may want to look up the term before you use it.

Third, the queue is working as intended. For more information see the dev post on the first page of the following thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/Any-Tarnished-Coast-citizens-agree/first

Welcome to four days ago. Mass reports of this problem started yesterday.

Considering how none of the the 3 other threads I’ve read in the last hour referencing the same topic has the word “outmanned”, “out manned”, “out-manned”, or “out_manned” anywhere in it, I’m calling bull on the fact that it was “otherwise mentioned” by anyone but yourself, in this thread, in your previous post.

You really must not be looking very hard because (1) there are six such threads, you seem to have missed three of them, and (2) it took me all of one minute to find https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/WvW-Que-1/1361099.

The rest of your post is playing at statistical fallacy, while also completely ignoring the statement of “people who respond are also the only people you find” and, in more words than previously, “top tier servers do not usually have mute players because communication and quick reaction is key”, unless you mean to claim that culling culls every one except the chosen few who respond in chat. Just trying to guestimate and assume against the established points presented based on some loose precedent for whatever reason, is a baffling stance to hold.
