A lot of the disconnects are actually because of Anet. People are getting disconnected when their internet is perfectly fine, normal ~20 ms latency, etc.

Huh? Who would even bother farming activities? They reward so little you’re probably better off farming monsters in Queensdale or Metrica Province.

I feel conflicted. On one side it’s incredibly disappointing, no more new armorsets… on the other side it saves me money.

Which so far hasn’t worked out all that well.

For example, female norn only have one hairstyle (bald), that DOESN’T clip with the Noble Count outfit.

Would be a big “kitten you” to the most veteran and loyal players, so unlikely to happen.

Also a bad idea for the same reason.

That’s very unlikely. The challenge mote bug was reported over a month ago. They’ve known about it for just as long. Despite this they released the LS2 package, so it’s very unlikely they pulled it because of this bug.

If you “un-invert” it (aka make it back to normal), it kinda looks like the avatar of the tree.

This is why outfits are a bad idea. You can’t remove part of the skin if it clips.

Can confirm this bug also happens when wielding a rifle.

I’m just going to bump this thread, as I just had the same.

Swamp Fractal, Ascalon Fractal, Aetherblade Retreat and then Molten Boss fractal. Got neither the Daily 21-30 Fractal Achievement nor the associated chest.

Why are there only 4 (PvE) dailies anyway? Give me 10 dailies and let me choose which ones I want to do.

Lower amount of silk required by 25%. For each piece of silk saved this way, require a piece of thick leather section instead.

See above. It’s basically the only title (along with Champion of the Gods) that requires skill and effort. It’s not possible to simply buy it.

Can I bump this?

Just did the event for the first time in a week. I was present the whole event, killed numerous enemies, severed one of the chains myself and the event as a whole was a success (all chains broken). But I didn’t get the boss chest or marionette hoard… what’s up?

With 55G you can buy 137500 normal pickaxes (1375 “stacks”). Assuming you use them all on Orichalcum ores and a (trade post) profit of 3,5 silver per ore, this would get you roughly 4757,5 (4812,5-55) gold, not counting any jewels you might find during mining.

With the 20% chance of sprockets, mining 137500 times would get you 27500 sprockets. Assuming a profit per sprocket of 45c (in between current price of 40-57, minus TP tax), these would make you 123,75 gold. The new pickaxe is 25% more expensive than the MAMP, which if the gem/gold rate is still the same would equal to 68,75 gold.

4812,5+123,75-68,75 = 4867,5 gold after 137500 uses. Roughly 2,3% more than with normal pickaxes or a MAMP, still not counting any jewels found during mining.
As the investment costs are higher and most people are unlikely to mine even 50000 times, buying the new pickaxe seems dumb and you should be happy you didn’t waste money on it.

That said, just buying normal picks seems still the best option, though a little less convenient.

I’d rather have Anet create some stories with existing lore… Elder Dragons, Palawa Joko, maybe even add Tengu to the game.

And I hope SAB never comes back, because, let’s be honest, it doesn’t really fit into the game and it’s boring as hell.

Anet has really lost its mojo. The pacing of the LS is off and even the timing is off. What happened to the quality studio that just got it?

For all we know the krait pulled those logs to the bottom and chained them to some rocks.

The LFG is generally useful but still has some flaws.

For example if the party becomes full, the ad is automatically taken off the list. Now if someone leaves you’ll need manually put up the ad again.

If you enter a dungeon, then list yourself in the LFG tool, 2+ people join and they kick you, you’re also kicked out of the dungeon (even if they didn’t enter it yet). The same happens if only 1 player joins and directly leaves.

Minor things, but they’re there.

Thieves still use this mechanic… more or less.

I just find the complaints on this particular score in GW2 to be amusing, is all. To hear players gripe that there’s vertical progression creeping into the game and in the same breath whine about the lackluster rewards for content. Let’s say a boss chest guaranteed you one exotic. So what?

That’d help getting ascended gear on 8 characters in a reasonable timeframe.
