I can play the guitar, as in a real six string, but I can’t do this at all. Perhaps it’s just lag, but the “music” just sounds random.

One advantage to being a ranger is the embarrassment caused to anyone you do actually kill.

They switched out the bears!! D:

I don’t use bears in case someone thinks I’m a bot. But the bear rangers are only the most obvious bots. I’ve seen warrior bots, and once I saw a necro bot.

Since ET is getting absolutely destroyed this week, with what appears to be a Ebay v Mag match anyway, any guilds on ET that want to ally with a few of us on Maguuma against Ebay, feel free to contact me in-game.

(If nothing else, Materia [MATE] is always accepting transfers TO Maguuma, and you’re welcome to come on over and join us in the fight!)

There aren’t many left to transfer. I think the few remaining WvWers on ET would have left weeks ago if they wanted to transfer servers. I prefer to harass whichever side is winning. Even if all I can do is <cough> take your yaks from behind.

It’s actually fun fighting outmanned. We can still take camps, and badly defended towers sometimes. We can gank lost enemy noobs, scouts and small groups that overreach sometimes. It’s easier to ninja yaks and control points on enemy borderlands that are 100% enemy owned because there are so many of them and so few enemy players.

I haven’t seen more than a dozen ET in one place in WvW for weeks. If we get that many together we think we’re in a massive Zerg. Even the PVE zones on ET seem mostly empty. Orr is practically deserted. Sometimes I see more bots in the game than actual players.

Also, don’t you have goons on your server? We know what they’d do to us as soon as they’d finished with EBay.

The multi-guild system & why guilds are pointless.

Seems to be that some people who like multi-guilds want guilds to be a means to an end (with specific guilds for dungeons, WvW etc), while the ones who agree with the OP seem to value the guild more as an end in itself.

Some people are naturally more goal oriented, some are more socially oriented.

Edit: Edge’s solution about allowing guilds to choose to make themselves exclusive (optionally removing the stand down button at the leaders discretion) makes more sense than removing the multi-guild system.

I agree with the posters who say that the guilds that want to have members only represent their guild should just enforce that rule, without drama, and anyone who doesn’t like it can join other goal-oriented guilds.

Some of the cooking recepies will drain away candy corn (corn is currently cheaper than many other cooking mats).

Pets no longer holding aggro

This isn’t WoW. The class is Ranger, not hunter. Pets aren’t meant to be tanks (although some tank better than others) and you should be able to tank and DPS better than your pet.

Please reconsider the Orr snares, knockdowns and roots...

One does not simply run into Orr…

Does anybody else feel like DE's to get your daily feel more like chores?

Go to WvW and ninja some Yaks and CP. You can probably do all 5 DE in the time you’d do one in the PVE zones.

The “instructions” are so vague as to be basically useless.

You wander around until (after a long time) you actually find a villager (assuming they are a villager, it’s hard to tell, the instance doesn’t exactly look like a village). They tell you to find something so you wander around for even longer looking for whatever they want (why, who knows, maybe because there’s nothing better to do).

If you’re lucky you might find maybe one item one (out of how many? also unknown) you get one-shotted by an enemy player (wait, what, this is PVP? Someone might have thought to mention that!).

Now you’re a ghost. And your supposed to do what now? Wander around a maze looking lost (I guess that makes sense, for a ghost). Did we just change sides or something? Who knows.

If I wanted to do something where I didn’t understand the rules, where the rules could change randomly without warning, and where I could lose for no apparent reason, I’d just go on a date.
