Problem with Aetherblade IMO aside from obvious cutscene and reward stuff is that the puzzles are just more annoying than fun. I look at Arah orbs and some of the fractal stuff and those are fun, I look at aetherblade and just… ugh.
But, yeah the idea as a whole is sound, mechanic heavy instances are great, I just am not a big fan of Aetherblade.

Have it reward us more (and less than it does now for super-speedy runs) for runs that take longer (with a timer that keeps progress of when we actually “do” stuff). Standardize all dungeons to have approximately the same reward / time, no matter how meta or un-meta the teams are.

People often say that taking longer to kill a boss makes the berseker player work harder, due to needing to manage the sometimes lenthgy active defenses cooldowns they have. Killing a boss fast removes this from the equation. Killing a boss not so fast, well, based on some arguments I have read on these forums, is “harder” for berserker players. I’ll find an example of someone saying this when I have more time, currently working

Everytime I visit this forum people complain about something some other profession got being way better than Necromancer.
Why does it matter if Necros are in the meta or not? I survive better on my necro than most of my other professions. I don’t think necros are useless, or maybe I just don’t care about that stuff :|

Tequatl is failable, yes, but you do not have to organize well in advance to complete it. I have seen “hail Mary” mmaps, instances that begin approx 5 minutes before the spawn be successful. People prefer maps that are securely organized, but it isn’t needed.
As far as what you experienced with that guild. Don’t worry about what they do. Then being at your preferred spawn location doesn’t matter, because even though MANY people think spawns scale based on local pooulation, they scale based on numbers in the entire event. So if there are 5 people or 30 people, as long as the total number of people within Tequatl’s event range, scaling is the same. So if anything, then being there helps you kill your stuff faster, with the downside being another area lacking, most likely the DPS.
tl;dr do not let things like that bother you, it doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things anyway

I have used a 20 minute Experience booster to PvP with. However, it lasting 20 minutes seems a little short. For one, I can’t activate it in Heart of the Mists, so I have to leave Heart of the Mists, activate the booster, return to Heart of the Mists, then queue and finish the match, hoping the queue isn’t long enough to take away from my booster.
Why is it only 20 minutes? I could very well be in queue long enough with a long enough match that it won’t affect my gain at the end.

If i got it right you can now basically do this:
swap to shiro legend gives 50 energy -> cast jade wind
swap to jalis legend gives 50 energy -> cast rite of the great dwarf
swap to shiro legend gives 50 energy -> cast jade windrinse and repeat …
dunno what to think about it, but maybe i just missed some important info ?
10 sec cooldown on swap plus huge energy cost for doing pretty much nothing:
- Mallyx elite is upkeep.
- Jalis elite is a 2 sec def boost with 3 sec cast time. Horrible
- Ventari needs tablet and is just a pushbak with little heal.
- Shiro is aoe venom.

One thing I noticed in the few games I played, was that possibly there should be some way to instantly, or perhaps safely, travel to your Lord’s room from your spawn point if the inner gate is destroyed. I noticed that the few times I was trying to get to my Lord’s room, while enroute I would get downed before I could get inside. Maybe a back road from spawn or a portal that appears after the gate is destroyed.

We were losing in points, and had engaged their guild lord, but the timer once it hit zero, the game ended instead of going into Overtime. I understand Stronghold is still in beta and I’m just assuming that is why Overtime did not occur, but I thought I’d ask if there was any other possibility for why it did not happen.

People haven’t mentioned that Grenadier also made Grenade Barrage have a 1500 range as opposed to 900. That was one of the first things I noticed prior to any extra grenades thrown.

I guess this isn’t the place to ask, but as the world boss exploits were probably reason for these emergency measures, are the HP buffs Tequatl and Triple Trouble received going to be rethought? The other world bosses are simply slow now, but surely it can’t be intended for the failure rate to be so high. And it’s going to be even higher without guardian damage to compensate.
The World bosses were part of it, but I think the main reason was the fact that this trait allowed for WvW Gates to be destroyed in about 5-10 seconds without Rams. I think that is a larger issue than killing a world boss that would already die, being killed faster.

Consume Conditons for me I haven’t noticed the Vulnerability much. I have done a LOTof PVP as well using it. I still love it, and with hpw many condis now, it is very useful.

Since the update i am 7-1 in queued matches on my Necro. I have handled my fair share of 2v1 vs two Thieves and one was Ranger/mesmer. Necro is a lot stronger now than people are saying.

I was confused when I first read the changes, but honestly the skill is the best heal in the game. Putting in with Corruption skills adds synergy Necromancers had trouble finding. I think people are mostly upset because the skill works less well when not traited.

Which is the price of the full game. So if the full game is included along with it for free, that makes the price tag really fishy.

Master of Corruption: Reduces recharge of corruption skills by 33% but causes corruption skills to apply additional conditions to you when cast. (Condition applied varies per skill.)
I like this. It’s to synergize with condition transfers. That 10 stacks of Vuln from Consume can easily become your weapon!

Transfusion: Shroud skill 4 heals and partially revives nearby allies. Additionally you teleport up to 5 nearby downed allies to your location while channeling this skill.
Last Rites: Gain increasing healing power based on how low your health is. Other allies near you do not bleed out while downed (combat only).
Blood is Power: This skill now applies 8 stacks of might for 8 seconds to nearby allies.

Anything that can be Forged does not go into the wallet. Blade Shards for example. The wallet is automatic, you don’t manually add dungeon tokens to it, though maybe they could change that.

I don’t think you should have to be super experienced in order to do the job well. If you are, you may have a biased opinion on what WvW needs. My understanding of the Specialist is to take PLAYER feedback, good or bad, to Anet directly. That to me says as long as you frequent the forums, you can do what ArenaNet is looking for.

The screenshot confirms the above. The “19” is the siphon damage from Well of Corruption is from having both equipped. The “40” is the siphon damage from having removed bloodthirst.

I don’t see anything wrong with it? Krytan Forager, Queensdale events and WvW Caravan can be done within 10 minutes.
It’s an anomaly that shouldn’t exist. None of the other dailies double up in similar fashion, and fractals appeal to a small subset of PvE players.
I have seen Sparkfly Fen Event Completer, Maguuma Jungle Miner/Forager/Lumberer, or Maguuma Jungle Vista Viewer, at least 2 of those 3 at the same time.
