I briefly read what others had posted, so here are my thoughts:
1. I like the idea of fractal armor.
Turn in fractal relics for a nifty looking armor set. We have fractal weapons and a fractal backpack, so I could see fractal armor being the next logical step.
2. Mini pets.
I LOVE mini pets. I have just about every single one. I’m sure you’re aware that mini pets are put away when we zone into a new map/instance/die. I would love to see something done with them so they aren’t such a chore to keep out all the time. Maybe a little slot on our H panel that lets us “equip” them so they don’t despawn?
-Other than that, I love the mini pets and their designs, keep up the good work! When the puppy mini runs and his little ears flap it brings a smile to my face every time.
3. Ranger pet variety.
Going with the conversation of horizontal progression, I would like to speak up for the ranger community and inquire if there will be any new ranger pets? I love the ones we have now, and I was extremely excited to get the new Juvenile Reef Drake when Southsun Cove came out! I’m not expecting or asking for a new map for new pets or anything like that. In fact, there is a high demand for a lot of the already existing animals out there! For example, quite a few rangers in the forums and in game (myself included) have expressed interest in being able to tame a griffon, a rock dog, or even a dolphin. Would something like this be considered? Are there any plans for future pets?
4. Cultural Armor.
It took me hours of creating and deleting characters just to preview their cultural armor. The cultural armor in this game is gorgeous. I notice I’m not the only one who loves cultural armor too. I see it everywhere! It doesn’t bother me at all though because I still wear it 24/7. Are there any plans to add in more cultural armor?
5. Profession Armor?
Cultural armor is great, but sometimes the medium cultural armor forces a character to look more “thief like” or “engineer like” than the wearer wants. Who wants to look all sneaky sneaky when you’re running headfirst into a battle, guns ablaze, throwing grenades and dropping bombs? Profession armor would be made to embody the idea behind the profession. Only elementalists could wear elementalist armor, rangers could only wear ranger armor, etc.
Now, you may be thinking, “But there are already tons of armors out there that can help you achieve this look!”. This may be slightly true, but think about this. As a thief, if you want to pull off the assassin/sneaky/you-can-never-see-me look, you need to be in the Order of Whispers faction for their super cool “assassiny armor”. Or, you need to be a human for their medium cultural “stabby-stabby-I-kill-you” armor. Some would even argue that the human medium cultural armor is too “ranger ish”.
Think of the possibilities with profession armor! Elementalist armor can have small stones in the design that glow to the attunement you’re currently in. Engineer armor can have (much like their backpacks) pieces of it that change when they switch kits. Guardian armor can catch on fire (blue fire!) whenever they get that blue fire above their f1-f4 skills (forgot what that was called). I’ll stop here, I’m getting carried away. However, the possibilities are endless!
6. Living Story skins.
I love the living story, and I have been playing through it since it first began. However, I have run out of characters to put these skins on! Every time a new living story comes out, you add in the coolest skin ever! So I skin that to a back piece and wear it. Then the next living story segment comes out, and you create yet another really amazing back piece! So then I can’t choose between the two. This problem got worse the more living story segments I played through. I have 6 characters total, and about 10 backpieces or so. Is there any way we can get some sort of skin locker like we do in PvP?
OMG I am laughing way harder than I should have.
There are lions in WvW eternal battlegrounds. Bottom left hand side of the map where the large keep surrounded by water is. Go check them out, I was surprised
I searched all over that area, and couldn’t find anything. Could you please post a picture? I don’t want to accuse anybody of doing a little lion…
(Disregard the little lion in the picture. I’m pretty sure he’s my mini pet.)
Not sure how you didn’t see them, but here they are.
They are female lions, aka Lionesses.
Pics:
There are lions in WvW eternal battlegrounds. Bottom left hand side of the map where the large keep surrounded by water is. Go check them out, I was surprised
Because I like to be able to distinguish classes on a glance in WvW/sPvP.
You can’t anyway if they are asura.
Press tab, look at the class picture next to their name that tells you what class they are. That’s how you tell what class someone is, “at a glance”.
That’s strange. I play in full screen mode and i don’t get this bug. My inventory/bank/guild windows let me scroll through them without my mouse being on the scroll slider bar.
What about Milk Sausage? It doesn’t sound dirty reversed like that (at least not to me). However when I saw Sausage Milk my mind was immediately sent to the gutter.
They should implement an option screen as you try to enter these mini games. One option should say “join game” and another option should say “join game as a group”. First option would toss you into a random match, and the second option would keep your group together.
I bought a makeover kit and used it to get the new top left female sylvari face!!!!
Great work Kristen!
2,100 hours here. 2 legendaries. I made Kudzu and The Dreamer. I saved up my gold and bought my precursors. I never got a precursor as a drop or from the mystic toilet, and I sure wasn’t expecting one to drop in WvW either. Do the smart thing. Save that gold.
When pets are on passive they give a random Effect to the RANGER for example,
Jaguar = " +5% dmg, "
Jungle cat = " 50% on hit to grant might "
Snow leopard = " Chance to do chill and condition duration increased"
Drake Ice Drake = " attacks do chill "
Drake Salamander = " attacks do fire dmg "
Drake River = " attacks have 20% chance to cause lightning strike"
Drake Reef = " Attacks cause confusion"
Polar Bear = " Gain Vitality and chance to chill "
Brown/ black Bear = " Gain Vitality and toughness "
Eagle / Hawk = "Bleeds are 10% more effective "
Raven = " chance to blind on Hit "
Devourer = " Attacks have a chance to hit twice"
Moa = " Gain Random Boon per 10sec"
Wolf= " Crowd controll are 20% more effective"
Pig = " gain Healing power"
Warthog = " gain precision"
Boar = " gain power"
Siamoth = " gain condition dmg "What do you guys think? they are sort of like Preparations from Gw1.
the pet will always be visible, but not active. soo it stays true to the ranger Bio. " has a companion pet"
just gives us a chance in pvp and pve to not lose efficiency, due to the pet dieing or causing issues
Pets in PVP are probably a waste of time. In pve pets don’t cause issues.. In PVE are you trying to have them tank a metaboss champion or something? Of course they will die if you don’t controll them and heal them. Mine rarely die. When they do I can usually switch them out seemlessly.
Pets are a delight. If you were complaining about clones, jumping puzzles, or perhaps the camera I’d be fast to agree. however, you’re complaining about the one thing that is working.
Again i wouldn’t be against some extra buffs when stowed/ inactive. However if you hate pets that much prhaps you should rerol an engineer or a thief.
Had a ranger as my main since the game was in beta. Logged over 2,000 hours on it. I don’t usually have too many issues with my pet since I am a boss at micro managing it. However, if you fought Liadri during the Queen’s Gauntlet as a ranger, you could really see how broken the pet is/was. Every attack she did was a one hit kill. Since you can’t position your pet very well (they have a long invisible leash, even on passive), the pet remained dead the entire time. The moment you swapped out the pet it was dead again. Since the pet shares the ranger’s damage, rangers lost out on much needed dps. Condition removal was a key factor in that fight. Since our active condition removal depends on the pet being alive, it was also useless and ranger’s had to do that fight with no condition removal. Healing spring was a no go since it didn’t heal enough to undo Liadri’s damage. Eventually I beat Liadri (86 tries later) on my ranger, but I had no help whatsoever from my pet.
Funny enough, mesmers traited heavily into clones/phantasms and rifle warriors had the easiest time killing her.

Thank you Kristen for taking time to look at this!
Well A-Net didn’t design the armor with the idea that you’re gonna be playing the game pantless.
They probably figured that most leggings will cover those spots so may not have bothered to design those (very) small spots.
The red is visible with pants on. I figured it would help people see it better if I removed the pants for the picture. This bug has only persisted since the latest armor patch. It was fine before the patch for an entire year.
Wilderness 5 Natural Vigor. Reduced the increased endurance regeneration from 50% to 25%.
ouch
This infuriates me to no end. My survivability comes from my reflexes to dodge at the correct time. I am a master of dodging and this endurance reduction is going to kill me because I rely heavily on my dodges. I don’t want to have to rely on eating +50% endurance regen food every hour and spending all my spare silver buying them either. The whole reason I traited into those dodges was to avoid buying pots. I always forget to use potions and by the time I remember them, I am already dead or finished with the dungeon/instance.
I run longbow/sword dagger in WvW. If we’re zerging then I will go with longbow/greatsword. Sword dagger is an amazing combo because of its built in evades. However, it can’t save me every time, hence why that dodge from endurance regen is so crucial. Plus, every time I dodge, both me and my pet get reduced incoming damage. This helped my pet in so many ways. I use a wolf/jaguar combo. Since they are not amazingly tanky like the bear, this protection they got from my dodge made their survivability acceptable. With this nerf, I will not be able to dodge as much, therefore my pet will not be protected as much. Meaning, my pet will be back to being dead half of the fights. I am great at using f3/f1 to get my pet away from AOE, but as we all know that isn’t enough.
Why are thieves allowed to have 8 dodges (when traited correctly) at their disposal, but that is completely fair? Some thieves can keep up a perma dodge. Yeah they can’t hit for anything, but they sure aren’t getting hit either. It already stinks that we barely have active condition removal (if my pet is dead or too far away then I have no active condition removal), so the fallback was to avoid conditions altogether by dodge rolling their attack. Now that our dodge has been nerfed, it is going to be extremely hard to stay alive in WvW. Please, please reconsider this decision Arenanet.

Small bug I noticed. On the top insides of the shoes, there is a red patch that is not supposed to be there.
I don’t understand why you have tier 3 medium sylvari armor for males/females underlined. They DO glow!!!! They have glowed since the game released. They glow the most in my opinion than the other cultural armors!!!
These are before (top) and after (bottom) pictures. I am wearing tier 3 cultural armor (minus the headpiece). I personally do not like the change. I prefer my character’s skin blending in with the leaves. I think the new glow is a bit too much and covers over the detail I loved about the old look.
I have not changed the dyes in any way from the old to the new look.
Personally do not like the change. Here are the before (top) and after (bottom) pictures. The dyes are the exact same in both pictures. Nothing was touched. This is tier 3 medium armor.
(edited by WatchTheShow.7203)
With the Medium T3, it looks blatantly improved.
Sorry, but ‘blatantly improved’ is your opinion. Here is mine – I personally think I look like a glow stick.
I really preferred the old look. I liked how other hues were present even though I only picked “spruce” or “viridian”. It looks like I lost a lot of texture and detail. Please bring back the old look
I appreciate the time and effort put into the changes, but my sylvari used to look like her armor was growing out of her, and now it looks like I am wearing a plastic leaf costume ><
I have not changed my dye colors between the 2 pictures. This is how my character looked when I logged on her after the patch hit.
The first one is before (I like this one)
The second one is after (Too much brightness!!!)

Yup and rangers have the same problem with their pets.
Here’s a little compilation of small graphical bugs I have seen over the past year or so playing Guild Wars 2. These are very minor bugs, but once you see them, they can’t be unseen.
Graphical Bugs
1. A few male Charr NPCs in Lion’s Arch have been bugged since the first month of release. Their tails move, but it’s stiff like a statue. They don’t bend. Female Charr NPC tails are fine. Most of these bugged Charr are betweenTrader’s Forum Waypoint and Gate Hub Plaza Waypoint.
2. All player Charr footprints are backwards. You can see this particularly well in snow.
3. All moas, moa pets, NPC moas, enemy type moas, etc are bugged. Their tongues stick out through their beaks.
4. The seaweed in the Lion’s Arch water is lying flat instead of upright.
5. The juvenile marsh drake’s picture in Ranger’s K option doesn’t match the actual juvenile marsh drake.
6. There is a picture in the human home instance that looks like some of the picture has been deleted.
I know there are tons of graphical bugs out there, and if anyone remembers/knows of others, please share screenshots and add to this. I also know there were a couple of other threads like this, but I can’t find them.

Mariju a na is an illegal plant, but this name is Marijuna. Notice there is no second a. He didn’t put Marijuana in his name so technically it is not referencing an illegal drug. It is however, only one vowel away from being a drug.
Minor bug. The ranger pet ravens are making parrot squawking noises when they attack. I swear they used to make “caw caw caw” noises like actual ravens do in real life. Ravens sound like macaws at the moment. Maybe some sound files were accidentally swapped?
Just finished Arah story mode a few minutes ago. Did not run into any bugs. I’m thinking the bug you are describing only happens when certain things trigger? Did your whole party wipe or was it just those 2 guys who kept bugging out?
Try using control + T to target 1 player. Your team should focus down that 1 warrior. Then control + T the next one and focus him down. Keep doing this until they are all dead. Teamwork gets it done.
I’ve done 74 fractals. 64 of those fractals were a mix of 10+ and 20+. I have never, I repeat NEVER gotten one ascended ring.i would love to get a ring. I ended up having to get my rings with laurels because they never drop for me. On the same note, my friend who does fractals with me ALWAYS gets an ascended ring at the end of our run. Sometimes he gets infused ones too. I guess I am just one unlucky ducky.
Camp Crusher: 100 camps. I’ve done ~1000 in a year. 2 months for 100 seems OK if a little high. 75 may have been more in line.
I’m already at 82 camps taken.
Castles in the Air: 5 Stonemist captures. Again, a bit too high and it assumes/insists you play EBG a lot. Some guilds & people specialise in the borders. 1 (token) or 3 would be more reasonable.
Already finished this one.
Demolition Expert: 30 walls/gates. Apart from the fact it appears to be bugged. Why on earth would I kick a treb/cata/ram expert off just to get this achievement? I’m an AC specialist for siege. Helping with DPSing them down should be fine but it seems to be at 0/30 despite taking down a dozen doors over the weekend.
Already finished this one too. This one is tricky because you have to do considerable damage to the wall/door to get any credit. I set up a treb at Durios and punched holes in Stonemist until I hit 30.
Guard Killer: 500. Just a side achievement for doing the rest – I’m not sure if it’s a fair amount til I’ve done the ‘real’ stuff
Almost done with this one. I’m at 430 guards killed.
Leapers in the Mists: No. Please, just no. What have JP’s got to do with WvWvW? ~25% of all WvW achievements for JPs?? One would have been ample as an introduction to WvW JPs – any more is just…wrong :p
Eh I just saw it as an easy achieve. This was the first thing I did.
Master of Ruins: 50. So, if I take one+ ruin per day for the next 7 weeks I’ll just about get the achievement. Too many. Ruins players will have this in a few days, everyone else will have to take time out of having fun just for an over-extended achievement.
Already did this one. It is much easier with 1 to 2 other people. Bring a friend. Stay on your own BL and go clockwise until you get the achieve. It’s 10 laps around.
Mist Merc Camps: 50. A PvE achievement….and 50 times. I’m crying here. Too many, wrong game mode. I think it’s fine to nod in their direction with a ‘Take Ogres a few times’ achievement…but 50?!?
I’m only at like 3/50 on this one. It doesn’t seem too bad as it’s only 50.
No Tower Too High: 30. Perfect. Weekend WvWers can get this done with some solid play.
Finished this one.
Defense Restorer: 500 is too high IMO. Will just lead to people wasting precious supply on walls that are being trebbed etc.
Finished this one. Since I was trebbing Stonemist from Durios, the enemy would regularly come try and take Durios to stop me from trebbing. I would call in reinforcements, and the enemy would be driven back. Once they were gone, I had damaged walls and a gate to repair. Since Umber is so close, I just used supply from Umber to repair everything. Got this achieve very quickly.
Sentry Capture: 225. Too high. That’s nearly 5 a day every day of the season.
This one is pretty high, but I’m already at 87.
Supplies Severed: 225. Too high. That’s nearly 5 a day every day of the season.
This one isn’t too bad since most supply camps have 2 yaks in them anyway. Already at like 77.
World Ranker: 50. Or 125,000 wxp. Yuck. This seems too high. Maybe an attempt to get more badges spent.
I’m at 16/50. It helps to pop a booster.
I like your idea of weekly achievements instead of the 7 week achievement, but there’s a drawback. I have a full time job, as I’m sure a lot of people here do too. Each week varies for me. Sometimes I can only spend 10 or less hours playing GW2 per week. And sometimes I can be on more than 10 hours per week. It would suck so much if I missed a weekly because I had night shifts backed up to day shifts and slept in between instead of playing GW2. I prefer the seasonal achievements because then it’s easier to get them done when I have time.
I’m at 12/15 achievements already!!! So close! The hardest one has to be getting keeps. Those are so well defended, or they always get taken during prime time when I’m at work ><
1 year ago, cultural karma merchants were selling their weapons for a tenth (1/10) of their original price due to a glitch after a patch. You didn’t have to do any cheating/hacking/glitching to get the karma weapons for the reduced price. You just walked up and purchased them normally. Much like today’s glitched Omega golems. Anyone who bought more than 20 were permanently banned. I would highly advise against buying the golems at the moment.
First of all, apologies to that specific topic in the Thief forums I replied to yesterday. I’ve been playing this character for so long I didn’t notice the blurry effect was missing!
Self-explanatory. Charr Thieves’ dodges don’t have blurry effect. I can’t say for other races because all my characters are Charr. I have no idea when did it disappear.
Just in case a dev reads this, I wanted to add: Charr footprints are still backwards. You can see it when a Charr walks in snow or sand.
Ranger longbow #2 (rapid fire) will kill yourself if you use it on an enemy with retaliation. Every time that arrow comes back and hits you, you get hit with vulnerability, so every attack hits progressively harder and harder until you’re dead. Fun stuff.
You can also turn away and deselect to stop it
Yes, I know. I got confused with retaliation and reflection though. Either way, they both hurt.

They fixed this armor bug a long time ago.
Well push yourself to play something else! cause really nothing is stopping you from rerolling but yourself. You say that the reason you have this dilemma is because it is simply your style but I think its time you try and change that style.
And that does what to address the issue of all the soul-bound, one-of-a-kind event items I would lose access to?
Transmutation splitter, or transmutation crystal. You can turn ANYTHING from soulbound, to account bound. Simply transmute it to a white item, then transmute that white item (with desired skin) to the new exotic/ascended item.
It can be done with anything, even legendaries, special level 1 items (like thief hood, elementalist head elementals, guardian pauldrons, and necro glowy eyes.
What about fused gauntlets, aetherblade armor, and shattered dragon wings? I am not going to be the first one to test that.
It works for everything. Even fused gauntlets, dragon helm, dragon wings, etc.

Tab Targeting Improvements
Can now tab target if your character can see the target (Was dependent on camera before)
Not sure if this part is desireable, I’m usually trying to target something that “I” can see, meaning I rotate the camera and I would like to tab to that enemy and not the ones off camera my character can see.
Does that make sense? What is the benefit of making it dependent on my character?
Otherwise sounds really good to me, thanks for the preview!
I agree, I’m not sure if I will like the new change to targeting. I always move my camera around to target things. For example, in WvW, if I am running away from a zerg/group of players, I can swing my camera around to look behind myself and target one of them so I can get my (ranger) #3 stealth off my longbow and escape. With the new changes, I would have to turn my character around, face the zerg/group, target one of them and then use #3. Not sure if I like this at all.
to make this post a little bit more accurate i will try it again. im tired of writing long post because i dont think anything will change and i dont think anything written here will affect developer decisions. i dont think they read here anything ever. still wondering this post didnt get an infraction.
i love the released game, but im not happy with the released upgrades. fractal patch was awesome. aetherblade dungeon was ok and the first adventure box was ok.
i did most events/patches for achievements but i dont think doing achievements for the points is really satisfying. some ppl made it a goal to have lots of avs but thats only a hand full. its not really rewarded and for me it doesnt fit. its doing content u dont like just for points and many avs had been a grind.my thoughts on the tequatl upgrade:
i think to adress the real problem that keeps us away from awesome content upgrades is very complex.except fractals we didnt get any permanent content. its is still the game that has been released 1 year ago. a few skins, ascended weapons and thats it. there is nothing new that came into the rotation of content we r playing. there is nothing new to explore. we need new content for small groups badly.
the goal with the boss revamp is “to make them more challenging and fun”
i think we have a totally different idea of “challenging and fun”
it would never come to my mind to release something like that to “improving the gamers experience”
i never enjoyed these big events. there r different reasons why i dont like them and why i tried to avoid them.
now we have come to a point where we got “challenging content” with ppl that we cant choose.
challenging is ok, but not like this
we got an overflow and bad performance problem with big events. instead of giving us something new where we dont have this problem we get it over and over. content that always forces these problems.
i think many things u r saying is misleading. u r selling everything as “awesome and fency” and u r always proud of small things that pretty much no one cares about. u r hyping everything to a ridicolous level.
“bosses – upgraded” doesnt fit. its bugfixes and increased hp. loot table is pretty much the same what imo is the main problem here. the hole loot system in the game is just really really bad.
these bosses have never been fun. and to think it will be fun with more hp and more onehit mechanics is totally wrong.
i watched the tequatl kill video and i really cant understand how u can call this “fun”
u pretty much dont see any red circles due to the masses. ppl dying over and over. its a zerg and nothing else. everyones standing in the same spot. events with masses of people never run smooth and if something doenst run smooth u cant call it “fun”.
it might be challenging but its no fun.
give us challenging content for small groups. where u can choose your group. where u get rewarded for challenging stuff.
imo the main reason for unsatisfying content is the free 2 play concept.
with the announcement they will stick to the living story all hope was gone. tiny upgrades every 2 weeks is not enough. i was hoping for a major upgrade with dungeons or whatever.
content upgrades that feel like addons. stop hyping everything….. we never got this. i kinda feel like we r getting fooled
it hard for me to adress the problems but even though i could point out the problems nothing would change.
i love the game but i feel the gemshop concept keeps us away from a better experience. i would like to pay 10 or 15 bucks a month to see satisfying content
If you never liked big boss fights, then logic tells me you probably wouldn’t like the new boss fight revamps. I liked the old boss fights, and I like the new Teq fight even more. It’s opinion and preference.
If you don’t like it, then don’t partake. There is still WvWvW, dungeons, events, and if none of that interests you, you can always become a Lion’s Arch Bank Defender.
So I just want to say first up that I get a great deal of enjoyment playing on the trading post in this game and can spend hours doing it when I have no other goals for the day. I have watched while markets that are required for new content or in demand items get smashed over and over again and have continually wondered if its players with no idea doing it or if it is manipulation on the side of anet, always deciding it must just be players until now. I am now going to give away a market a lot of you probably already know but here goes. On the recent patch where you can craft ascended weapons platinum ore and what they make (darksteel ingots) price started spiking I dabbled in buying platinum and found it was an ok way to make a little silver in the game I was undercut a little but the price stayed stable about 4 silver 30 copper per ingot this was about 5 days ago. all the ingots on the market were selling like crazy and the price soon hit 5 silver 80 copper and showed no sign of slowing demand is still high. The price for platinum was also spiking which is good for those who enjoy gathering it makes you reasonable silver as well. This price stayed steady for probably 1/2 a day then out of no-where someone who must be insane or tinfoil hat (anet) started placing ingots on the TP at 4 silver 50 copper it cost as much to make the things as they were selling it for. For hours I watched this wall built in the market over 1 silver below the lowest other point about 1000 ingots at a time as soon as the wall was breached and reached “normal” again another wall same amount of ingots same price was placed. my instinct is no-one could be that silly the amount of silver you make is simply not worth anyones time to craft. this has happened in so many "big " markets that are required items over the last month or so that it cannot be co-incidence and I can understand undercutting prices but this is crazy and without profit/reason to do so.Now there are 1000’s of the ingots between 4.30 and 4.50 (the wall so mission accomplished whoever has done this but its disappointing as it now costs more to make an ingot than to buy one so who would do that ? ask yourself….
My theory anet creates a wall in the market to encourage players to undercut and lower prices (no-one did because it was simply losing money to do so) this continued for 2 days same price massive amounts. But the effect creates listings above the the wall to gradually undercut each other and close the gap (ie price went from 5.80-5.20 in 2days behind the wall) making it eventually continuous listings if its not anet filling in the gap. Now if this is the case I understand the logic in doing so as it keeps costs down but this is supposed to be a player driven game where if supply outweighs demand its cheaper and the opposite when its in low supply forcing prices up.
As it costs money to list items on the TP if this is happening it is costing everyone listing at “the current price” a lot of silver as they either have to cancel and relist or wait a hell of a long time to sell and imo this is in no way fair.
I would like to know if this is how anet is running the tp and I will save both my time and money and also if others have had this experience. The silver is not so much an issue for me I get a kick out of exploring new markets and when they take off its awesome but when I see this happening over and over its disappointing to say the least I feel like I wasted my time.
If you want to lower prices try cayenne pepper it was 20 copper 3 months ago now its over 5 silver where was the brakes there?TLDR:- is anet manipulating the trading post that’s supposed to be player driven?
Don’t forget that there are people out there who want/need “fast money”. They have a stockpile of platinum, and they see a large quantity are selling for 5.80 silver, but they are afraid if they post their platinum for 5.79 silver, they will not only be undercut, but they will also have to wait a long while before all their platinum sells. Most people want things immediately, so instead of doing something logically, he posted his platinum ingots for an entire silver cheaper to sell them off faster.
Reminds me of real life gas stations. All the gas stations in town price their gas 0.01 cent cheaper than the gas station next to it so more people will go to the one that is 0.01 cheaper. Then there’s always that one gas station outside of town that is selling their gas for 0.10 cents cheaper and has a line of cars wrapped around it trying to get their tanks filled up.
I was extremely optimistic about this living world nonsense when I first heard about it back in may. I stopped playing guild wars 3 months after launch mostly due to not having any friends of mine playing it any more. However a couple buddies of mine decided it would be a good time to give the game another go due to the thought they were going to “churn out a lot of new content” due to the expansion of there living world teams. My first thought was wow that could be really awesome think of the things they brought to us when the game first came out south sun and 2 rather fun festivals loaded with cool stuff.
Here where the problem is. Nothing they have come out with is permanent. We haven’t seen a new zone, a zone getting reworked, anything at all. In fact we were told around june time that the content was going to be more permanent due to a larger living story team. But we still haven’t (excluding the cometic rework of the great collapse).
Looking back it makes me wonder, I bet anything south sun, winters day, and the mad king event were all completed pre launch. Just look at the evidence, have we seen anything near that large since december? Not even close! SAB is the only exception but its not hard to churn out an 8bit world.
Another thing the living world was suppose to do was evolve the world. Things were suppose to change the world “forever”. A good example would be the karka attack on lions arch destroying the tower or the mad king blowing up the lions arch statue in order to get into lions arch. Well once again haven’t seen any of that since december. And whats the kicker to that? The lions statue is back!??! out of thin air? why? so we can recycle the mad king event for this year. Its a complete joke! I remember the interview with colin johanson talking about players being able to say thing like “I remember the lion statue that used to be in lions arch”. Guess they were to lazy to stick to that.
The point is, the living world system NEEDS to get scraped and just do expansion they can’t keep up and all there doing is hyping the kitten out of content to keep people interested. Our next “big” update is a “rework” of tequatl that just makes him a bit harder and adds a couple steps, and aLFG tool that should have been in the game pre launch. This is such a joke, anyone with a brain should realize this. Guild wars 1 expansion every 6 months was way better due to people getting all these features and more (new zones, story, skills, professions).
I can’t be the only one who thinks this living world system is all a gimic.
What about the new zone Labyrinthine Cliffs? It wasn’t permanent, but it was definitely a cool new zone.
I was so happy that I fell out of my chair when I saw her palm tree hair sketch! LOVE THAT PALM TREE HAIR! Would buy a makeover kit and use that hair in an INSTANT.

You can skip the entire ice room by doing this simple thing: buy the wooden flute and use its special ice-breaking song. Simply stay on the ground near the end of the ice room, play the ice-breaking song (133133) and the giant icicle will fall down and let you pass without forcing you to do any of the other icicles in that room.

Yes it took me about 40 jumps to finally get into the shop. While you’re on the lily pad, you want to stay to the left a little bit and jump from the middle of the pad, not the very edge.

Make sure you don’t run out of lives and get kicked to the hub! Every visit to the hub resets your progress on the baubles. Stock up on those continue coins.
It isn’t fun.
Not much else to say. I killed Liadri, and while I thought the fight was unfair at some points for elementalists, it was still a legitimate challenge to kill her and fun to do it no matter how long it took.
With tribulation mode, you made what we call “artificial/fake difficulty” into a game. And a very long one at that.
It is basically a memory game, or a “watch guy at youtube do it and mimic him” game. Both are not interesting to me. I really love GW2 in general, I’m a fanboy. But I’m not the target audience for tribulation mode.
Maybe I’d do it to get the skins if I didn’t have still 50 games on my steam library to finish, plus a few from gog. Not to mention books to read and movies to watch, and work.
This just isn’t a fun way to spend time for not having real gameplay value in my opinon. I would like it a lot more if there weren’t invisible traps all the time, and it was simply about difficult jumps, finding out paths or doing speedy sections.
Then doooooooooon’t plaaaaaaaaaaaaay it -waves arms around and leaves room-
Necro minions and of course mesmer clones will climb vertical walls/run through walls and up the steps and attack people up top as well.
I’ve been gone from the game a while, and never really paid much attention to points given their once useless nature when I last played much a few months ago. Though naturally being not too far from 2500 I want stuffs.
Among my nearest to completion achievements is Shiverpeek Explorer, I explored every last place long ago and went to every single region to find nothing missing.
I am now left with 170/175 with no 5 too make it 175/175.

Shove this to a more appropriate place at your discretion.
I can see from your map and tell you already that you are missing the top right corner of dredgehaunt cliffs.
It’s been like this for me ever since I crafted Kudzu back in April. However, the bow is only shooting a second Kudzu for less than a split second. That second Kudzu shows up super briefly, then turns into a normal golden arrow. This happens on all Kudzus on all accounts. Some people don’t see it because 1) they’re not paying attention or 2) it happens so fast, their eyes are not picking up on it. Seriously that bow is only there for .01 of a second and then it’s gone.
