I doubt many on BG care about the hate posts at this point (although it is fun to point out logical fallacies in their rants). It seems to be a way for those people to deal with the inequity in server population. If that helps them sleep at night, then more power to them…post away.

I know you’re not talking about overall score, that is why I posted that specific screenshot. Look at the PPT 4 hours after reset. That is primetime NA and additionally it is on reset night which is when populations are usually at their most balanced.

I, and everyone else, knows BG gets a huge amount of points during Oceanic/EU time. I’m simply responding to your claim that BG fails during NA primetime.

SoR you guys do have a solid NA I must say, I am impressed by the quality of your play and your resiliency. Can’t say about T1, but SoR probably has the best NA of anyone T2 and below, without question.

I think it’s fair to say most servers would have given up after 7 weeks of eating BG coverage.

My completely honest opinion after playing for several weeks against SoR is that there are some skilled players, a few really skilled players and a lot of really really bad players. But that’s just my opinion.

Before anyone bashes this post, I just want to point out that this statement is accurate, but for ALL servers. Player skill is certainly bell-curved. It’s just a matter of statistics.

If you are highly skilled, the chances of you dueling people who are less skilled than you is almost a certainty. While the chance of dueling someone who is equal to or better than you is going to be very rare.

In my opinion, they’re the real winners this week. Yeah, I know that sounds cheesy, but I don’t think many would dispute it.

My opinion on WvW, in any tier really, is that it severely lacks that certain something DAoC had.

I think it’s mostly the fact that there is no true loyalty to one’s team, what with the ease of changing sides, the lack of any true “goal”, i.e. relic raids, any sort or wvw “progression” like realm points, and the social adhesion that each server and team had in DAoC.

That Hib, Alb or Mid pride that drove the core of RvR isn’t present here. GW2 is a nice diversion, but someone really needs to make a DAoC 2. The market is ripe for it, given the rise in popularity in a 3 way competition.

Thing is…WvW is sooooo close to being there, or could have been. A few rule changes / tweaks / etc could have made WvW epic beyond our wildest imaginations.

I’m pretty sure most people agree that GW2 has pretty good class balance overall (Thief QQ is overblown) and the combat system is great. It’s the current “rule set” that is holding WvW back.

BG rarely has queues during NA prime time. And when we do it is usually only in EB, with the occasional (uncommon) queue in BG BL.

Blackgate isn’t fielding T1 NA prime time numbers. While that may not be a coverage “gap,” it is certainly a coverage shortfall.

You stuck around after the mini-zerg cleared and gave me a bow. That was the classiest thing I’ve ever had happen to me in WvW.

Nothing will be friendly as long SoR and BG are on the same tier… It’s been like that for 6 weeks now. But TC is doing awesome, keep up the good work.

Yeah…at this point all the trash talk is meaningless. Here’s what it comes down to:

SOR: BG nightcaps, zergs, can’t hold own BL, has no open field skill

BG: SOR has NA zerg, can’t hold EB, SOR cries b/c lost 5x in a row

I don’t think anyone on either side really cares what the other side says anymore.
