Just did it a second time for daily and can’t figure out how it could be impossible. Slightly slower now but not any where near difficult in the random groups I was in at least.

have 2 wins 2 losses, not bad for the first week. As someone mentioned above it will not be long before it is back to 100%. People that do not participate and still want the rewards will move on to something that they can stand around. As for rewards, I think teq is amazing now for what it gives you.

Just finished one a couple of hours ago. Did not notice any difference.

Norway is not a EU country. They are part of some trade agreements but are not a full member.

Hardly Anets fault if you have a hording issue.

I do use the harvesting tools for farming and Anet can help reduce bank and inventory spaces by making rewards boxes stackable. You will know the struggle if you pvp much.

I am giving my veteran opinion on a veteran thread. If you wish to flame that is of course your choice not mine.

I would suggestion putting the term Suggestion in your title and change the title to clearly indicate you want them to become stackable. A large number of people who don’t know how to throw out junk come on every once and a while and your thread seemed at first glance to be one of them.

I’m one of those players who bought the game recently, less than a month ago to be precise, for its full retail price of 40$ and I’m not bothered about the base game getting bundled together with the expansion. It will entice more people to give it a whirl.

However, the expansion being 50$ for even those who already have the base game makes me wait with the purchase. Most likely until it goes on sale. Not because I wish to boycott it or disagree with Arenanet’s pricing strategy but because putting down 90$ on a single game in a month is just something I can’t justify. That’s half a year worth of subscription.

I’ll continue to support the gem shop through a 10$ gem purchase each month but the expansion is a no-go for now. That being said, I wish Arenanet luck with the launch and I do hope that those who buy the expansion will enjoy it.

If you bought via ANETs site you can get a refund for your purchase and then buy the game at 50. From what I understand though you lose your current account.

Yeah, they had no intent to deceive, it was an oversight, but mistake or not, the campaign said something and that wasn’t true. It’s the same here, they said something, and that is no longer true.

Yes they messed up, yes they are doing what they can to give rebates. They will come out with a statement next week I am sure. Yes a core group will still be flipping out. I am also fairly sure that additions will be made to all levels of pre-order, not a precursor for all as I am sure at least one person will write is minimum but probably the beta tab we get will be permanent instead of removed on release.

You do pay a 15% fee so if more money is transferred then more money will be pumped out the economy.

Yes but that happens now anyway, they may actually take less out since people won’t be buying/making the other mats required for weapons/armour.

I think a better solution to all of this is to just use it as a way of culling the herd. The people whining about HoT at the existing price points don’t deserve to have it, and I’ll be happier playing in the new maps without them around.

I would safely bet that a chunk of these people saying they would ‘never’ buy the pre-sale have already done just that.

They just released two days worth of info on guild halls. People are fixated at the moment. I hope it turns into something worth reading soon as well, but the forums have not been worth participating in for me for quite a while now.

I agree with the OP. I paid money years ago with doubts about the game, one I hated GW1 and two games with easy in-game currency conversions from real money inputs I found to explode with inflation. Both those things turned out to be a non issue. If they where an issue I would just consider it money poorly spent and moved on.
Same thing now, I paid for the pre features. If the expansion somehow does not live up to what I think it will I will be unhappy but life goes on.

A nice skin is nice but teq is the best single event out there right now and you personally have 600 gold minimum from doing it.

From all you have written I would recommend engineer. Though to be honest every profession fits your requirements in one degree or another, depends very much on who and how they are played.

I much preferred LS Season One, and it’s design and release cadence. I wasn’t fond of Season 2, at all. I never asked for an expansion, nor for ‘permanent’ content.

I can’t comment on HoT, as it’s not been released yet, but I hope it provides enough to do until the next expansion, if that is the release model we will have in the future.

Yes I agree with this. Non permanent is a draw for me, a sort of I was there type thing. A mix of non permanent with a permanent dungeon/instance whatever would have been perfect I think.
The things they tried I think needed more time to mature, they hopped around too much. But with a population with the attention span of a gnat what could they do?

It’s kind of funny to me how that can happen in a single thread, when other parts of the forum are full of constructive criticism (with no developer replies).

If you take a second you will notice that Robby Steins first post was about my joke (very well done Robby). So while drama posts and fascinating multi-volume threads of fixing the failure that is the game could be a quagmire to step into I really don’t see a problem with them treading lightly over it.
