Forced change-password policies add little security (and might even be detrimental).
The more passwords you force people to use the lesser the quality of said passwords.
Humans can only remember a few and forcing multiple changes just leads to password re-use or using very, very simple ones.
The exception of course is those who use password managers (or have exceptional memory). However in these cases they are probably already using a unique & complex password in which case a forced change really is pointless unless gw2 had their servers breached.

It also leads to using the same passwords that you already used elswhere, and that
is the real problem in the internet .. not how “secure” a password is.
They only ask people with weak security to change it. I have never once been asked by the game so it is not a problem of needing to change often as Eeone seems to think is happening. If you really think password spelt backwards is good, well best of luck.

I am eagerly waiting to see if this “real expansion” is as big as a traditional expansion. For now i see a new class but no new race. New specializations which is ok. “End game content” which is iffy….and no news about how many maps&dungeons we get which is the backbone of any expansion….and so far they religiously avoided the answer for this. If we get just 1 map kitten that.
I can pretty much guarantee that you will not find this mythical end game you want. I will also predict that enough content is going to be relative as well.

I will also point out that not only did I not get a letter of sympathy signed by all staff I also did not get either my choice of legendaries or unlimited gem store purchases. What kind of company does that I ask you!
Off hours for moderators happens, many threads will be merged and hopefully as noted the instigators will be limited to how often they can post. A few people going nutbar crazy can give the impressions that everyone is nutbar crazy, not necessarily true (could be but not absolutely necessary).
Only guaranteed way is to buy it. Always possible to hit the lucky roll but so many posts over so many years of “I spent thousands of gold and got no pre” that I would just spend the gold if I wanted a specific pre.
Or wait until the HoT release with a way to get a pre of your choice via game mechanics.

Just curious…so were you instead playing dagger/dagger, max DPS, with full zerker armor and trinkets when you were the last one alive against the boss you mentioned?

Yes I run full beserker on my necro (trinkets back etc are ascended)
Weapons I use are staff for wells and scepter dagger or scepter focus.

Exactly the point though. People use what is good for a specific thing and then force it into something else. Many are not skilled and/or not knowledgeable about what frankly is a tiny aspect of the game. To expect otherwise is not useful.
You don’t understand that by joining a zerker group with your “tank” necro or whatever you’re killing them. They died because you can’t pull your weight. How many times does this have to be stated? Zerker set up in prolongued fights = dead. Not for all encounters, but for a lot of them that is true. Nobody is forcing you to join zerker groups. Make a new group, tank necro only, and have fun.

Why would Necros be that bad for Dungeons?
Daggers have decent dps and Well of Suffering basically deletes groups.
The standard pvp power necro build should be perfectly fine for dungeons.
They are not bad in dungeons, they are not optimal for speed runs. I have been last one standing more then once finishing a boss on necro, those other four players being dead are not adding anything to the group.
Keep in mind that speed clear dungeon runs are not viable outside of an organized group which pugs are not. So using a optimal build in a non optimal setup is meaningless.
Crappy income? Maybe, but it is 50 extra gold a month doing absolutely nothing out of my way. Would be 100 plus extra if I had the least desire to run around silverwastes.
The entire game is sort of based on reacting and adapting, until you have done it x times per day then it is not.
Warrior maybe would be best, it is a hit things till they fall down then hit something else type of profession.
shards are all over the place now. Easiest I know is drops from silverwastes, can also buy them 1 for 50 or 5 for 250 bandit crests.
I must be lucky though any time I visit the Balth temple it is either open or in the process of being taken back.

The drawback I see is that with the introduction of precursor hunt (depending on implementation) the demand for metal to throw into the forge may well drop like a stone (just saw the pun, was not intentional). You then have metal at the same place that leather is now.
Under my careful analysis of your paragraphs and thoughts it has come to my conclusion that you have a personal vendetta against this game and, whether you want to admit it or not, have a remorse and sickening for the developers causing you to feel emotions of sickness, madness, sadness and overall disappointment.
It is under my close examination in times like this that you take a step back. I tell this to my other patients to. See it for what it is. There is no punishment for going back to old zones for leveling, there are no fetch quests, you don’t have to backtrack. This game is the best game I have ever played in 15 years playing mmos. It is a beautiful piece of artwork that belongs in a museum. That’s how you feel playing such a ..delicate piece of fine institution. It is a marvel to what people can make in the gaming world and a marvel for others to follow.

I know there is a gold restriction since I bought a second account on sale, but I sent a couple of items worth 150ish gold each from the new account no problem, maybe the absolutely upper tp items are also restricted.
