Don’t know who this Douglas Adams person is? There are such out there that use the internet?
Obviously.
Would you be surprised to know there are people who don’t know who Ghandi is? A farfetched comparison, I know, but trust me I’m nowhere near as bad as those people.
No not surprised.
don’t panic.

Surprisingly I didn’t find many of them to bad, but the worst one is by far the Silverwastes JP. By far the worst and hardest JP in the game, to make make it even worse almost all of the golden lost badges are located in there. The challenge was interesting enough, but never again. I can’t imagine how much gold I must have wasted porting back to a WP to try over.
When you are doing the jp you are given free rez by skritt, you also talk to the young skritt and get taken to your choice (3 away 2 away or 1 checkpoint away) of location from where you died you pay the fee once and that is it.
Already has been done, maybe look again.
All maps I am in have people in them, doesn’t seem to matter where, someone will run past within seconds of my going to some out of the way area. Map chat is not full because people are either not interested in small talk or using something else to chat with other people.
So trying find something using LFG is fail? I will try what you suggest.
yes mostly,
Some groups train their commanders on pugs, which means a better chance but it is better to get on a team speak run and hope to get on the right instance.
complicated yes, too complicated no.
It is done 3x per day every day by txs and gw2community.com in EU. Same type of thing in NA as well.
Has been suggested for a long time. Unknown if it will or can be implimented.
Rhyzom had something similar (probably still does the game has done a pheonix act so many times can never tell).
It adds a layer of complexity to the code however that would need to be build in from the ground. Doubt it could be added afterwards.
I don’t know, when the daily was on the map it failed 2x this week that I know of. People don’t concentrate, maps are full and then leave since no tags are up.
doubt very much the starter zone bosses will be touched beyond a light tweak here and there.
I think they are there just because traditionally mmo’s have them. I don’t use them, have tons sitting in my bank. Even the enchantment powders I gave up on after a while since I just could not be bothered to keep up with the new boosters I got as drops from various things.
5 free character slots.
Getting to the sPvP lobby is harder now but can be accessed from Lions Arch. Full traits/armour/weapons to play with for each character upleveled to 80.
WvW uplevels your character but not traits and weapon/armour bonuses so you will not get the same feel of playing as at 80.
Year of the dragon here, so basically every mmorpg celebrates my year all the time.
Teq ts not needed at all anymore.
Wurm gw2community.com eu
WvW talk to people on your server inside wvw.
Victors Point in Wayfarers.
Could be a data mined item that did not make it into a drop table.
I don’t need more Laurels, I’d prefer more things on which to use these currencies piling up.
Karma – Even after going for 250 Obsidian Shards because I wanted to, and Temple Armor on my new 80 Warrior . . . woo . . . still swimming in the stuff.
Laurels – I do not want, nor do I need, anything out of the menu. It’s nice I can buy Season 1 Rewards though. Too bad I got most of those the first time around. Hmmm.
Badges of Honor – I’m not kidding, I don’t ever use these. Ever.
Dungeon Tokens – Meh, could use stuff in the lists which isn’t related to special armors or the Legendary gifts. Really.
Guild Commendations – I still don’t get what these really are for which is so special. Eh.
Guild commendations for me are there for ascended accessory items that is it (for me). 2 weeks give 1 item, 9 level 80s to fit gives something to do.
Rest I pretty much agree with.
Honestly I’m busy looking for good medium armor which isn’t a coat.
Strider and kryta for gems, sneaktheif not gems but kind of hooker wear look on females.
Posting due to forum bug.
Why? Just ignore it and your post goes through anyway.
If you haven’t gotten a vacation then you haven’t really spoken your mind. If you have seen “Goodfellas” think of when Henry gets arrested and goes to court for the first time.
Or it could be a sociopath with zero self control.
wee?
Yeah I’d love to put it but I cannot edit the title :<
Why not?
Do a Google Sapience LOTRO and soon.
That is what the title is for.
Thats not exciting. That’s stressful. Do we really need to go over the vast number of people that don’t even get map completion because it involves going onto a map where they could potentially be “ganked”? They literally don’t want that so they stay out of the game mode it can happen in. Its not fun for them. It would be less fun if they were trying to do a JP and some tool comes out of stealth and kills them right before they finish it or hammers them from the top before they could open the chest. That isn’t thrilling and that would probably lead to the single largest decline in players GW2 has if they ever implemented that. Now if servers meant anything anymore and they wanted to make a server a PvP server where that could happen, then by all means, have at it. I’d love to see its actual population as compared to the others.
And therefore adds nothing. And hes right, tons of players wont ever get map completion because of WvW.
However, if you read the OP he does not suggest Open world PVP he suggests dueling areas added to the world, or in their own zones that would serve as pvp zones if you entered them. Not full map PVP, not open world PVP, but small areas in zones that serve as PVP dueling zones.
he just stated it does add something to pve, you may view it as stress, another exciting, but that still adds something to the experience.
and just because you have a whole bunch of pansies who are so afraid to get killed by another person while trying to get map completion doesnt mean you should cater to them. its not hard at all to get the wvw maps, it might take a few weeks of waiting for colors to switch. but really even at peak hours its not like everywhere you go is a zerg foaming at the mouth waiting for you.
i know full well what the OP stated, the convo has been going many ways. my comment about people who dont read the posts are aimed at people like Mojo Gris Gris above me.
Keep up the good work of showing why it is such a bad idea.
Ah, well pick whichever condi class you like best then. Personally I like Deathwish better than both of those
skins don’t take up room in the wardrobe.
But it’s the Anomaly…. it’s not part of a set
Beat me to it.
I started headstart and I would have needed to have played about three times more than I did over the years to be in the top hundred. It is and was for a- retentive personality types. No one else.
I see they have used the word can several times over the years OMG Cantha released next week!
I liked it, so I bought it. Personally the male humanoids have too big shoulders for my taste but really like the look on everything else.
It is very versatile. Why greatsword was chosen by anet is up to speculation.
Isn’t it in the laurel merchant? It hasn’t been in southsun as long as I know since the event last year was over.
I don’t run dungeons myself but they are a guaranteed source of gold. Teq for me is much less boring than champ farming and the karma converted into boxes in Orr gives gold just from junk let alone anything saleable.
Maybe mix up your gameplay and see what happens.
You don’t need to get any exotics is the point I was making. You may be focusing on areas that may give bags but they are not the best without those rng gears lining up.
I am having trouble understanding this. Without lucky drops and playing six hours a day you should make a hundred gold per week. Dungeons guaranteed gold, teq guaranteed gold, guaranteed rares that are broken down to ectos from all world bosses. T6 mats are min 30 silver.
What are you spending your gold on?
Why are people acting as if this was a done deal? From reading this it seems nexon has not been getting its own way so they are trying to push for more power. They now need to get enough votes to get on the board, even on the board they would need to control a majority to pass their own vision of the company’s future.
For now it sounds like a whiny forum poster trying to get their own way with threats.
Lions arch has gates to every starter city. To get there go to your home city (it will cost a couple of copper to waypoint there and you can see it on your map when you expand it.
While in lions arch there are portals to WvW and sPvP if you cannot access them from the top of your screen.
Once you have the sPvP lobby open you can use this to travel from anywhere in the world for free to Lions Arch.
Think about what you’re trying to use as an argument, and how it defeats itself.
Builds not mattering for 95% of the game isn’t a good selling point. The doesn’t make the fact that they are only available for 5% of the game better. It just makes it that much worse.
Then the game does not meet your desires, good to know. What is your point again?
bought a new account on sale.
Two weeks to get to 80, no crafting, Eotm for 3 levels just to get 70-80.
2g for buying traits I did not want to go out and get.
Can’t really see the issue of not playing because of maybe.Surely you can see how “if you come back now, in two weeks you’ll have access to build defining features” is not the most enticing thing?
I can’t even count the number of games that I can go play right now, and make meaningful decisions immediately after. This game is far from engaging enough, and the decisions are far from meaningful enough, to hide them behind “it only takes two weeks!”.
They either need to put a carrot on the stick or get a shorter stick.
If they where playing before then they can jump in wherever they left off. There are more options at 80 but the game is the same. Traits don’t matter until 80 anyway.
Traits don’t really matter at 80 either. Adding a longer stick just serves to show how small the carrot really is.
then what is the problem?
Everything is relative. WvW if you are zerg running then frankly anything. Solo they can all again shine depending on how they are played. PvE anything that is fun. If you are thinking of speed running dungeons then and only then worry about the meta of speed running, it does not apply to anything else PvE.

100% sure it will be added.
100% sure I have no clue when.
The damage to the west is clearer about where the fingers are doing damage as well, just need to check your back for risen. Use a staff for better range and kill the fingers when the pop up.
I was going to make a suggestion, but then I read your signature. Sounds like you just wanted to complain.
Have to agree with this.
