1) Bazaar of the 4 winds. Just loved how you could move around. Usually dislike jumping puzzles to an extreme.
2) From ending of flame and frost to middle of southsun living stories.

5) Introduction of Scarlet as a hyper villain. Not everyone likes the humour but to me she is a blast.

Worst
1) introduction of Southsun in November last year, all of it.
After that it is just a matter of content I do no participate in enough to be interested in. That for me was SAB on both instances. New dungeons, since I have not done all the old ones and have no real desire to do so. Teq update since I personally have no interest in tracking down a group, hoping I get on the same instance, and hoping people are able to co-ordinate enough to kill it. But like I said, I have no interest. I do not expect anyone to design a game around me, unless I create one myself that is.

I make no demands but I would like this mechanic changed. Also would like the ability to kick removed after x% of dungeon is completed. Final boss kicking is just dumb. Never happened to me, but cannot see the logic.

Over a year and still love it here too. Things I have thought where amazing and things that I cannot enjoy have been in the game during this time. It is nice to know I will have something on a regular basis to decide if it is personally amazing or blah.

I will chip in with mesmer. I survive very well on it, against single and multiple mobs. A good shatter and you have huge damage.

I think I started with some form of drake, human ranger. When I got the pig in the starter zone I used that mostly. Did not use bears until the ugly naked ones (merelow) with the nice poison aoe. Now I use devourers for range and merelow for melee. Never did get the knack of birds.
To answer directly the question, yes spiders can be a good pet.

People left after trying the ooze puzzle once. What is the mindset of that. Then people start swearing and acting as if they have a clue. It was not enjoyable. It was not unbelievably hard though. If people actually try no problem. Needing to reform teams every 5 min is a pain.

You can buy everything in LOTRO with Turbine points. You cannot get the expansions until about a week after release for points though. I personally know someone who did everything without paying a dime just using the points he got playing the game. It is much much more convenient to do some form of payment, just not necessary. Loved LOTRO, still like it, just will probably never play it again. The most I payed for LOTRO was a discounted 3 month sub to unlock fast travel and upper level crafting on all toons.
I much prefer the method ANET came up with though.

Well that might have happened a very long time ago. I used to play Lotro for quite some time, in fact it’s the MMO, other than GW1, I played the most. Still, after going free to playn Lotro changed completely. Also, I could be wrong but I think you can’t buy the expansion content with Turbine Points, to be up-to-date with the game you need a payment of 80$ (including the latest -upcoming- expansion), that’s more than you pay for a new game. In reality, the game is “buy to play” not free nowadays.

As to why? Very good question. The most about them I like is the versatility. Can go into situations and get the results I want out of it. I am not a min/maxer, I do not care about efficiency whatever that means. I just want to do what I set out to do. Be that clear (map complete) orr solo or run into a group of mobs and take them all out. Or just run around and see what is in an area.

Never saw it on Aurora Glade. As others said report it each time.

I personally did not like GW1, so can’t compare. From the forums there is a die-hard section that can’t leave GW1 and hate GW2. You personally need to play the game. The mass of people have moved off of levelling so you will not see people in the exact same areas you are in. That said there has never been a case where a shout in map chat has not brought someone to help no matter what time of the day on my server (aurora glade).
As I said, play the game. Make up your own mind.

There have been posts and threads thanking the developers and company for the game as a whole, or for specific things. They tend to get some responses, but fade rather quickly. The negative posts don’t fade as quickly, partly because people get into arguments in those threads. Sometimes these arguments go on for pages and pages. This can generate an initial false impression, because it looks like a negative thread has a lot of responses — when in actuality half of the posts are by two people. Occasionally, a critic can derail the positive threads as well, but this seems to happen less frequently.

But the one time it happens to you, that’s what you’ll remember. Since Anet doesn’t appear willing to do anything, the best you can do OP, is make sure you always enter the dungeon first. If you do and they kick you from the party then the whole party gets booted out and everyone loses all progress.

True I will remember it, but I was not kicked (I left myself) it was just a really horrible group of people. Since I can’t change people I will just continue playing and having fun.

Me too, I am sure that they are aware of it. Where it lies on their priority list is their choice though.

They stated quite clearly that after the updated to the new materials champs at world boss events like claw of jormag and now tequatl will not longer drop anything at all. Don’t know why but it was no secret that they did it.

I just had a client crash while doing Honor of the waves story with a group created via LFG tool. Since everything is cleared when you crash out there is no way I know of to get back into the dungeon with the group. Or am I wrong?

top level map completion gives 2 exotics each time each character you do it on. So that is 10? (not sure how many maps give exotics) exotics minimum (have never seen a lvl 80 exotic but since you just want the globs of dark matter it does not matter at all).

You have enough money to gear up after you hit level 80 in rares 20-30 silver each piece, the karma is enough for 2 pieces of exotic (think they are about 60k each could be 40 I never used that method to get exotics). exotic is around 1-2g per piece with some much more expensive depending on stats and sigil etc. My advice use green to 80 and then rare until you get the gear you feel is best for your play style. That could be through crafting, temples, buying on tp or lucky drops. Ascended is not needed in any way but if you want it, it is availible.

Dulfy gets the majority of her information by tapping in to a large population willing to go out and find things. There has been 2 times that I know of where she and other press representatives got a sneak peak. All other times you can actually see data being added to the knowledge as more people do and find things. Just because you don’t look around does not mean that everyone does the same and only gets handed the information from developers.

It is not missed by me. If I did miss it I know exactly where to find games that have it.
If I was in a game that had trinity and wanted a new game that had a trinity system if looked at GW2 I would know right away that the trinity is not present in the usual sense and would not buy it.

I used to sell everything up to rare and MF rare to get the occational exotic, exotic I mostly used or sold. Now I salvage everything to get either luck or dark matter.

Just an edit, any exotic worth more than 2g is sold.

You are not allowed to like the game and then say that you like the game. I don’t know, I agree the game has been a great ride so far, give the forums a pass to save on stress.

Every game follows what people are saying, both in-game, on forums and other areas. It is their livelihood. They don’t always (read next to never) directly reply to comments since this leads to ‘they lied to us’ even more than ‘they lied to us’ pops up now.
Forced to play? Not for me even a small bit. Things come up in reality, the game is gone. Going out for a night out, the game is gone. Going away for a few days weeks, the game is gone. I ‘missed’ halloween last year and will miss it this year. I missed the vote. Not a huge deal. I do not like the current content, not a deal at all.
I will get 500 in each new craft, I don’t know if I will make one piece of accended.

I am being think the globs of dark matter are also absurd if you dont want to spend lots of money on exos to salvage. Cheapest would be to salvage exo dungeon armor and wvw exos if you do lots of wvw.

I have a craft at 470, 2 at 440. I have more gold in the bank than before I started. If I wanted less gold I would be at 500. You get to choose how you do it. I am not even 100% sure I will make one, just having it as an option. I do know that in the time it will take me to get even one to 500 (less than 1 week by my guess) I will be able to make a couple of weapons.

My answer to the question is that after a year you feel that nothing either requires skill or if it does require small limited skill it is not giving ‘good’ enough rewards the chances are next to zero that they will add it to your specifications.
