That is, I cannot copy something said to map channel and then paste it to guild channel…but I can tab out, copy something from text file/web and tab back to game and release it via control+v into guild chat.

I can’t do what you said here, copy from external source (text/word document/web page) and into the game.

Like for example, player names from Gw2lfg.com to join parties before they fill up.

Or get a special character off of the character map in Win 7 and paste it for nice symbols for chat like notes for singing in Role Play.

It never worked like, ever!

I copy the usual way: highlight text and cut/copy (right click menu or ctrl+ x or c) and then ctrl+v in game. Zip! Ziltch! Nada! Nothing! Sometimes I get a small v typed.

I made a thread saying that I can’t even paste text in game due to a problem related to unresponsiveness of the game. I think it may be related.

I want to be an elementalist and be able to use the elements.

My second PVT (power/vit/tough) set is 5 superior pirate 1 superior noble. I use d/d on my ele or my delusion staff (+3% mf) both have a single superior luck sigil for +15% at max charges (0.6 % x 25).

So far, that is 75% MF + 3 % if using staff and then 3% more with exotic karka shell.
I then eat an omnomberry bar for +40%

115-121% end result and as far as I am willing to get.

If by chance I get I get a MF boost from guild banners, its 125-131%!

If we had the other boost from Guild its another 15%

140-146%

Finally, with the laureate and black lion’s boosters I think its another 80% (30%+50%) or are they mutually exclusive?

170-176% or 220-226%?

So I can go that high probably and still be able to live with high hp. (17.5-18.1k)

Note: Other than the Karka shell, I wear Coral Gear/Rabid/Rampager for accessories/back. The Karka is also Coral slotted.

I get 20 shells a day per 2 hour farm if I care to do it. And apothecary weapons sell for a lot of gold if you have the ecto made for free from combining all the greens you get.

I’m bumping this as I Still can’t paste anything not even text. Gw2lfg.com is useless to me as I can’t paste into party search/manager in game.

I tried even the keystroke both ways copying and pasting and nothing.

I tried highlighting the text, then right click->copy and then ctrl+v in game. Nothing.

Its frustrating and making me not want to play GW 2 anymore because now I’m having people being kitten and jerks to me over it and calling me stupid, and an idiot, etc.

I don’t need it as administrator as I have UAC off completely and I am the admin. So everything is ran as admin automatically.

Doing a google search I find out that after October 16th patch, this should not be a problem and I should be able to copy and paste whatever i need into the game’s text boxes. Yet its for mac only…

If you want that, go play a wonderful Korean game called Ragnarok Online (with high drop and Exp rates and rare rares) so you can be ready to be killed at any given moment. There are free servers that offer this. Its a good game even though its over 15 years old.

I got a rare twice on the Under New Management JP and an exotic ring after a maintenance. The rest are greens and blues and Medallions? (crests are the yellow kind)/green gems. Rarely an orb if any. Yet its the easiest lv 80 JP in the game and I will keep doing it because my machine can’t to any others that well.

GW 2 its easier to get rid of morons here than in RL. Block and map chat off. Rl will probably get you in jail and an assault charge! ; )

Sorry bad choice of wording there. What I was suggesting if Menzies and Dhuum (and some Margonites) are still around, we’d be fighting their minions and dragon minions at the same time in the future in the mists. So it would be all 6 dragons’ minions + Menzies’s shadow army and Dhuum’s underworld creatures (and maybe left over margonites) we have to fight, yet not as an alliance of 9 of course as we know in GW 1, two different groups don’t get along when pitted against one another.

An exotic is lv 62 minimum. Doing a search for exotic only in TP supports this. Mystic Forge experiments I done confirmed this as well.

The whole transmuting is the true problem as my gear is Exotic Soldier’s (orr karma and AC dungeon) Power/Vit/Toughness, and is carrion still in the name and exotic color. Its the Winged skin.

Opps I was thinking of the Asuran Butler Golem in betas. That was removed after release. Why though? It would be nice if we paid 80+ dollars for the game, we could open our chest for free again…

• Dodge: I just go to a Veteran and hope while I am doing my dodge’s know one show’s up to help " Kill " it while I am trying to do my daily. (It has happen to me once; but really I never told anyone to kitten off )

• Healer : I just go to area’s on the map where NPC’s are always dead & respond within min’s. ( I did find that sometime’s when I was healing a NPC it didn’t count; not sure if it was a glitch or not )

Npcs (and Players) have a cool down of about a minute so you can’t res the same one twice.

Karka is the best way to get the dodge one done. 4 karka to dodge is all you need.

It does work and fairly often! If you get bad RNG it will only give your a rare after 100 greens so watch out. Yet that really bad luck rarely happens. If you see it start to turn bad just wait a while before doing more.

I had over 300 on my ele main and now have about 45 left. I should have over 50 now again from crafting and farming.

I don’t care how you get it, as long as its sexy on female humans/norn and not bulky and clunky on heavy classes. I will not hesitate to transmute it.

We should farm Skritt. They seem to be the only enemy that drops them.

If you get a blue, big deal! Salvage it for a chance at orichalcum ore or ancient wood. Boom! You just made 3-4 silver or got closer to an expensive exotic you could make (mystic, named, apothecary, etc)! Stop complaining people and use logic and use what the devs gave you: many ways to use the systems involved (legitly and without bots/cheating/hacking) to your advantage to find way on your own to make gold.

I usually sell my blues if they are not made of mithril/ori or wood. So all cloth and leather armor gets sold.

Greens you should be throwing in the forge over and over to get yellows for free ecto.

You’d be surprised how often the cheaper kits (crude, BEC Dissembler, basic, fine) make ori, ancient wood, gossamer, and hard leather appear from salvaging. It says 10% on most of them, but my testing seems to be more along 10-25%.

If I were to make fun of the current United States Administration I’d give my guild ranks those of the chain of command in the executive branch with mocking names for each member.

I won’t post them to not be offensive or anything.

Tips:

-salvage wood and metal blues and whites sell cloth and leather items. Do not complain you get a blue or white drop… it can become ori or ancient wood. Many players do not realize this.
-Keep all greens and mystic forge them to try to get yellows to make free ecto (use masters/mystic/Black Lion kits).
-Sell t1-t6 materials and other stuff you don’t need for the gift you need to make. Keep t1 to t5 of that t6 mat your using that can be used to convert up to t 6 using appropriate dust.

How about using crafted items? I’ve been experimenting with throwing in Crafted items vs Looted items. For me, I’m getting better results with the crafted items. I’m somewhat consistently getting lvl50+ rares with great skins (LB and GS) from blue or green lvl40 crafted items. I don’t have the data that you have, but it’s definitely better using crafted items (in my experience anyways).

I did notice from my own recent testing they do work better, yet they are more likely to give you exotic crafted skins than anything really good.

As I got a carrion pearl carver with 4 t 5 rare daggers (krait skin) vs. with bought cheap exotic daggers, Legionnaire Dagger Skin which is a dropped skin.

Note: I edited my posts to reflect my mistake that level promotion is actually a random roll of 1 to 12 levels instead of 1-6, as in my own experience, it was more of a median roll of 6 levels added which is actually the average result.

Do expect it to be more along 6 levels increase if you do use four of the same level items and no rarity upgrade occurs.

Engi sucks period. No way to kill 5 enemies at once. i only have her to wear T 3 when I can put it on her for sexy (and possibly embarrissing and hilarious) RP situations.

Why vets and champs may not drop any loot after fix:

Here I will explain to people that don’t get it:

If you just say hit the mob once and run off or enough to just get a medal or have it tagged, you will get nothing as its to curb leaching/griefing events/etc.

Or its like in the dungeon case where you died as it dies. “No loot for you!”, but you still get exp.

So its probably going to reward you for not taking the easy way out and always reward you for effort and not for just being a lazy kitten and tagging mobs.

Well you don’t have to be interested in making them.

If everyone would stop complaining about no gold, no drops and find out what they have on them can be used to make more gold, they wouldn’t be complaining here would they?

I don’t want any mystic weps, but when I saw how much money there are selling/ buying for, I thought about making a few in the future to get my T3 armor and legendary requirements.

I buy the fine stones and BLKs on the TP gemstore. Everything else, I hope I get a key or leave them there in my bag.

This boss and Champion Wasp Queen are very similar you must kill the adds or they heal the main boss. Its a common over used game mechanic and I seen it in other games.

The mystic weapons sell more than selling the coins alone. You sir lost out of a lot of gold.

Want keys? Kill Skritt! They are the only enemy type I seen drop a key twice on my Guardian. So if anyone drops keys it those “shiny” loving rats.

Everything made with mystic coins is guaranteed no RNG involved, except mystic clovers, which have a bit of randomness but pay for themselves if you fail to make one— as every time you don’t get a clover, you get t6 mats (and maybe lodestones) to buy more coins, w/e to try again.

Apothicary weapons to make from Karka shells to sell and easy t6 bloods to sell or t5 blood to use to make easy rares for easy ecto.

Dodging can be done easy for daily and 3 ori nodes. What more is there to want?

I get mostly what you guys get for chest loot. It wasn’t until after the last update that I started seeing improved loot from normal creatures.

All I can suggest is go to places that you haven’t been to often maybe you’ll be surprised like I was here.

The loot system seems to award going off the beaten path as much as exp gain for killing not often killed enemies.

There is nothing wrong with drops.

Look here:
Same cave spider in the same spawn location twice dropped two yellows and the whole map so far dropped 8 greens. I got lots of tier 4 materials more than I ever gotten on a tier 4 map before.

I almost have 4 g here (had only about 1g 80 ish) from just selling blues and whites i don’t salvage and all the junk items. Also had about 4-5 unid dyes.

I don’t see why people complain… Maybe you all need to get to these unpopular maps more.

I run PVT gear with just MF runes and dual luck sigil daggers. So I probably won’t die. so its runes/dagger bonuses and food and banners and the rest of my gear is my main gear.

My guardian she’s cute and gentle.kind/helpful to her allies and means business when it comes to her enemies. And she’s a great cook (I have her at or around 180+ chef)!
