Its called Eye of the Storm and plays all in Kryta now in GW 2. Also appears sometimes in Ascalon as well because its where it originated in GW 1.

I need a cute and adorable one for my Canthan females (maybe actually more Asian styled voice?), but more of a balance between that and tough when it matters.

I wish I could only have the female voice that that cute /Cheer has… the one that is like, “Yay! ^-^”

Tarnished coast in Bloodtide Coast. A lot of healing turrets are on the path to the cursed artifacts heart. They seem to be causing area wide instability.

Yet I can’t copy/paste anything not even those characters.

And yet my guild leader can post music notes.

What doesn’t make sense is the noticeable gap between the entrance to dominion of winds and Lion’s Arch. Claw Island is too close to LA in that map. The wizard’s Castle (tower in gw 1) would be just bordering the Dominion by this map’s logic.

Or a new lv 80 (or 90) dungeon for when the next expansion comes!

A good rule of thumb is to look for foes that are often ignored or never killed. They give an exploration bonus up to 400% of the base exp for a kill based on how long they lived. So look for yellow mobs or red mobs that haven’t been killed in a very long time.

Go off the beaten path and hunt those foes. Event mobs or foes near events/hearts are usually killed as soon as they spawned. One set in Queens-dale are two veteran Basilisks. Add on food and other consumables, the black lion chest buffs, guild banner and WvW bonuses, and you have over 450% or more exp gain per foe that hasn’t been touched in a very very long time. This also works for non event champions like the war beast in Gendarrian fields in its pen.

It never works! I tried everything even removing all Ctrl key use.

I did pour 10 g into buying them to finish all Tier 4 crafts on my account recently abut 3-4 days ago.

GW 1 had much better customization than this one. I can agree on moving enemy and pet bars to be next to your own.

My machine is 93F on the HD and 153 F on the other parts with gw 2 running. I’m nearly 100% Processor use on both cores. Its a Piece of kitten machine anyways. My previous laptop hit above boiling even without playing the original. Just from starting up windows.
I can still barley play with the slow thing.

Safe areas are not safe anymore… someone pulled a vet karka to the under new management JP area to grief all the JP doers. I waypointed there to get a nasty surprise as my machine was still loading me and rendering the area.

10+ hours a day. Farm ori/mithril across 4 of my 6 characters, Daily achievement, AC occasionally, and Since I’m Tarnished coast, I spend my time RP or leveling alts.

They started doing this to us RPers in TC now. I had it happen and thought my ears were ringing… I made my disdain known in-character by saying, “Who the hell was that crazy lady?!”

Shield Useless? You need it or your dead in Karka land or in many ranged foe situations. You have a very good projectile block in there. I’m always sword shield or hammer (to get the jump on karka to stop their deadly long range) there. No exceptions, you’re dead with any other set up!

It costs gold sellers nothing actually to run their business. I found a very serious exploit into Anet’s security recently on YouTube when looking for/watching Colin’s 2013 video. I will not go into any more details though, but I managed to get the info to the right people to shut them down for good. What they are doing gets them accounts for free to put it plainly.

We may see the last of the gold sellers/bots and hackers.

If it wasn’t for my concern and curiosity we may still be full of these jerks.

I was profiting on the 24-26c cost of them by making mithril from platinum using the Forge. I also got killed by it too. As dust is approaching the price of mithril and mithril dropped down to 48-49c from 52-55c.

How do I invest in it? Its too high to do anything with…

They should be deleted permanently. As that would fix the economy with all the below Merchant price orders and sales done by hackers and bots.

I made a killing on the platinum to mithril conversions using mystic forge and then the market changed badly with tier 5 dust being pricer then the mithril price margin (between seller and buyer) . Dust is now up to 40 c from 24 c just a day or two ago. I’m back to forging rares to sell on the TP. With the formula: Lowest Seller – Highest-Buyer / 2 + Buyer. Basically, the mid point formula. Should I start matching buyer or going below him by a penny instead? I feel it would take me longer to sell rares that way instead what I’m doing now. Especially on huge margins like 24s and 65s between Seller and buyer. Using the example here: 65-24 = 31 /2 = 15.5s + 24 = 39.50 s sell price.
It will sell, but then after taxes, it will be only 35s 55 c.

I do it to show that Mystic forge is not a wasted effort. I’ve been combining all my junk to make rared to use or sell or combine further to get exos.

Does anyone consider using Power Vit Tough Gear from dungeons and Orr Temple karma vendors? No? I rest my case.

I have 1kittenp with the right traits spent and the PVT gear. Max Wvw bonuses its close to 18k. Second highest HP compared to Necro.

I run AC on my ele so many times its not even funny with a not great laptop to boot. I die only a few times per run (except with bad teams with Detha or the asuran guy and his burrows part) because I got caught by Kohler or was at a bad spot.

Most fights I’m now employing S/F instead of D/D or staff. As I have 3 block/ invulnerabilities with cantrips or arcane shield. Ele is full of anti CC protections and whatnot. With the right traits, I can get my cantrips to last longer or my Obsidian Flesh to last longer and get in and get others out or myself out.

The logic man is here to save the day yet again!

The only thing changing in dungeons is you will not be able to WP back until you all wipe.

This only means you can’t res and go back to the fight over and over to win.

You can res your team on teh ground mid battle as normal.

This promotes strategy rather than massing buttons to whittle a massive hP bar down.

“Pull the boss away from injured members and res them for once you unskilled imbeciles!” is what Anet is telling us. If you can’t do some thing as simple as that, then you have no business in a team environment. We have been doing it since GW 1 in Hard mode VQs.

And No one reads my logical answers… Anet you have people that can’t listen to reason.

Example Meteor Shower post update as a lv 5 in Queens dale as a lv 80 scaled down:

1 foe = 8 damage to that one foe
2 foes = 16 damage per foe
3 foes = 32 damage per foe
4 foes = 64 damage per foe
5 foes =128 damage per foe

My Fireball does variable weapon damage from 16 -256 damage to a single target (yet it explodes hitting 2 other foes in that small radius so it will also be scaled to enemy count being hit) .

This is what they could be talking about. If I’m wrong I guess I’ll shut up and be barred from all parties until GW 2 closes up shop as I know darn well eles will be no longer allowed in parties.

In regards to cheaters and hackers I mentioned to Gaile Grey about a youtube video about a tool being used by hackers to generate endless free full working account codes to get into the game at no charge or buying a box after being banned previously. Has there been any progress to stopping this?

This being stopped will stop all the other botting and hacking going on in game as well as 90% of gold sellers.

I really dont see the harm in this for a couple of reasons 1. You bought the picks to mine with 2. your mining it like anyone else. 3. you actually have to work harder than say a level 80 person just because of aggro range 4. Your not doing anything that gives you a advantage over any other player.

The increased aggro range actually puts you at a disadvantage instead of say, teleport hacker/bots that can go anywhere with no impunity.

Ori in my opinion, needs to drop down to mithril levels. This game need to be more player friendly.

And a Canthan New Year without Cantha, ha, what a party… I’m not sure I can imagine this in Tyria. Maybe 3 asian guyz celebrating that in their Divinity Reach house. Not enough to make a real event.

However if they plan on releasing Dragon Festival… It’s in July so the game will be about 10-11 months old… if they are really working on Cantha, then it has a chance to be there. I heard that GW2 will be released for China in “late 2013”… A China release without Asian content? I doubt it.

Wrong. There are at least maybe 100 or more Canthan looking characters people play as in the game (at least what I seen In TC and LA overflow). Its evidence enough that we should have the holiday. Why even have Canthan faces for Character creation and no festival? Lately we have been getting the rub and I don’t like it.

Also every Female Shining blade is Canthan. Don’t believe me? Look at them close up.

Canonically, Zhaitan is dead gone done. So there may be chance we may see Cantha sooner than you think.

Is anet ever going to clean up the TP? So many illegal orders (like 17k 1 c mithril ordered) still exist even if they are buried under the latest economic projections for stuff.

Also so many illegal sales still exist on some very common things. You just need to know where to look.

When it was really buggy a few months ago (along with the rapid server disconnects) you were able to pick up invisible goods. Just hit pick up anyways. Had that happen to me and just did that by accident and was surprised to get all my profit + purchases even though they weren’t visibly there.

I think you have a chance at getting one from the daily achievement reward, but I’m not sure. Anyway you can get most things that are in the actual chests that way. I have 4 Black Lion salvage kits sitting in my bank as well as portable banks, traders, merchants, and repair canisters.

Also far more basic transmute stones than I would like.

I got a black lion key once from a regular undead thrall in Orr. It was just layin there on the thrall layin on the floor. I actually didn’t entirely believe it happened but it did. I excitedly told everyone in map chat I got it and one guy replied “nobody cares.”

Hope he gets shot in WvW. That should be something that would turn heads. No one barely sees keys, and to get one drop is more “Wow!” inducing than getting a precursor to drop for you.

In my RP now I have my Ele’s Husband come back to her as another shard’s version of himself as she knows him to be dead in Tarnished Coast. So he could be the Sea of Sorrows (my original server) version of him, where in his shard, she is dead not him. So her life story and his are all reversed roles in this case. Yet I’d still want to see if there is lore evidence that this theory is true, stated in the original post I made.

This popped into my head recently, You all know how wvw pits various servers against one another and npcs call it a mist war between different shards of reality? Is this how it really is and one could say that each one of our servers is another dimension complete with other copies of us or even different rules and say, even different rulers for Kryta like for instance, Lord Caduceus Bettle Stone getting his way?

Guess I’m out of the loop huh? As long as it doesn’t bite us all in the kitten by the non RP servers refusing to join our parties for everything from wvw to fractals.

I was talking to some one privately (whispers) in the role play server known as tarnished coast and he and I found out that our private conversation was posted on sites like 4-chan without our knowledge and another individual was telling me that this guy I talked to did it on purpose and not that he was hacked. I deduced and he deduced that he or I was being phished and he wasn’t at fault or even trying to wrong me. I believed this guy to be a victim as was I. My machine is infact clean (scanned fully and I use the best antivirus/security software on the market) but his may be not.

I know that I shouldn’t have talked in ways that could be used against me, but how does one know the other person can be trusted or even be free of malware. Shall we cease to talk or play gw 2 with anyone seeing that we are all at risk?

Two way to make money I know of is flipping Platinum into Dark-steel and selling them midway between the two prices or putting them at the lowest seller.

Yet there is the cost of primordium and the cheap price of platinum (last quote was 11 copper a piece).

The other thing was mythril going way up.

I was Role playing last night on my Guardian Hikari Kyoko Ishida and due to her personality and her RP, she is doing her own in character theory crafting (which I want to bring up here as the topic).

She surmised after all the dragons are defeated (or dead, whichever you prefer), that a new age will be made where traditional social classes (streets, commoner, and nobility) will cease and the charr ideas of mass production of things other than weapons and war machines will be prevalent and be shared with all so that things will be easier to be made and obtained by others that are not nobility or filthy rich in lore or w/e. Its not that she is against the nobility (she is one herself ICly) its just she has a heart on her sleeve and wants the world to be better for all any way possible.

Now what I am getting at here is it possible for Charr to just partially give up their war driven ways to help the rest of the world advance in technology and also economically?

The same can be said for the Asura. Can they offer their vast intellect to create a new wedge in society that is equivalent to the real world known as the Middle Class?

I know for certain that the game’s lore and current time frame is on the verge of these sweeping changes, sans the dragons getting in the way and halting this tidal wave of progress.

My character sees it, does anyone else?

This is just a mild guess but Anet said they are going to revamp Orr maybe this revamp is going to show how us killing Zaitan has changed orr for the better.

As i said its just a guess but it would be great if Anet cleaned orr some to reflect our actions against Zaitan..

Plus the branded have only just been touched upon in Ebonhawke, if you follow the purple smear down to the crystal desert, its been smashed to hell, and i fear for Elona too..

This was done in GW 1 with pre War in Kryta, during War in Kryta, and post war in Kryta. If one person has not reached War in Kryta’s storyline, it reverts to the old game. After peopledone it, You only had to get a certain quest to “go back in time” to how it was during the Beyond part of the game.

It seems to me that they are going back to GW 1 a bit and having dynamic changes based on personal progress. Yet how will that work in an non-instanced environment?

I always seen the piles of undead stuff as Corrupted Dust we use to transmute stuff in the forge.

I kept getting into problems that Zhiatan wasn’t dead as people needed solid lore evidence that he was. I based my RP on a mix of canon lore and stuff I made up that fit into the time line perfectly. The whole idea was that my Ele had to defeat Zhaitan to save her Noble house from a curse brought upon her husband, who was killed by Zhaitan’s minions long before release (like the GW book series part of the timeline as she is 40 years old in the game).

So when it came to her saying in character that Zhaitan was finally defeated by the Pact (during or post lost shores) in the Maiden’s Whisper tavern and that she finally redeemed her self and her family, blah blah, I get OOC complaints that he is not dead when in fact Lost shores was already done and over with and I already deduced before anyone that this was the case. I’m only playing according to the cannon that she follows it nearly exactly (as far as what the pact does and her order does). I don’t really follow everything exactly, but I try to not pull things out of my behind that don’t fit GW 2’s universe. Now everyone plays that Zhaitan is indeed dead thanks to what the Devs said in that other thread and concrete evidence.

So for me, I used the personal story’s progress as her personal progression (from induction into the vigil on) as a character in RP to finally leading the PACT to victory as one of the many heroes that defeated him.

I don’t limit my RP to just whats given to us nor do I just make kitten up that doesn’t belong I find a balance on both ends.

I RP, do dailies, or Run AC dungeon. Until i get a better machine, I won’t much more of anything else.

T3 mats are very easily farmed in Harathi Hinterlands. I do it regularly to get enough t3 to make t4 and so on in the forge. So those that don’t farm them for that reason are adding them to the market.
