They didn’t. They got FIXED. They even made a Grandmaster trait to fix the slow Longbow projectile speed. At least F2 pet skill is instant now.
Ranger didn’t get buffed in this patch, they got fixed, and nerfed a bit.
That’s not all. More to come!
Rice picker isn’t racism. It’s a joke.
It’s like saying all swedish people are blondes. It’s not a joke it’s stereotyping which is VERY close to racism. No one likes to be on the receiving end of it.
Sterotyping can be fun. Trolling can be fun.
Haha they made a new tv show here in Sweden and it’s about catching trolls on the internet.
no saying all Swedish people are blondes is a generalization / assumption. calling someone a ‘******* rice picker’ (his words) because he doesn’t want them to speak because they’re oriental is racism.
It’s not racism. Get a grip.
Ranger didn’t get a lot of love, but they got some fixes at least.

Pet skill effects needed to be instant.
Ferocity is THE solution. Crit damage now scale down better and Berserker is less effective which means you may not want a team full of zerkers.
You can convert gold to gems.
People still ignore that one simple thing?
And? You still do the most physical direct damage possible.
I mostly PvE.
The item is an incentive to make alts. That’s ALL it is. It’s not going to change.
Alts above level 20 are screwed.
Wow
First off Arenanet Does Not “hate both classes”. This statement makes no sense. They Designed these classes, so why would they hate them?
Second, Engineer does have “lots of Builds”, but only a handful are viable under competitive play. The other build are either niche, or suite their players needs (but could be improved upon).
Third, making statements about the Developers being incompetent or evil, is a useless statement that serves no purpose.Long story short – You don’t offer anything constructive in your criticism. Until you can, please, quit whining, or quit the game.
Warrior have 2 viable builds in PvP. Necromancer have 2 viable builds in PvP. Engineer have about 5 viable builds in PvP.
Now they will get what, 8 viable builds in PvP?
If you Unequip your weapon it will disappear. If you use weapon switching, while having it in a weapon set/slot you won’t lose it.
you bring up another good point that I completely forgot. You could just equip the stacking weapons on a primary set, then swap to a secondary set w/o losing the stacks. You’d just lose that extra set (that you usually used for range/mobility).
Not really. I have a Warrior build and i use GS/S+SH and i use both sets to do damage and for mobility/defense.
Having two on-kills sigils active will be awesome.
“The key farm” was not intentional in the launch of the game. It’s not a nerf.
You can buy keys by converting gold to gems.

Got nerfed hard.
ArenaNet hates both classes and want to reduce the possible builds with them. Engineer which already have a lot of builds will get even more build diversity. ArenaNet clearly don’t know what they are doing or they’re just evil.
Warrior
The focus for of the warrior for this feature pack is going to be to slightly lower overall regeneration while allowing for a little more counter-play in PvP and introducing some interesting grandmaster trait choices. For this update, Healing Signet will be reduced by 8%, Pin Down will be moving from a ¼ second cast time to a ¾ second cast time, and a few other bugs will be fixed which were allowing more advantage than expected on the battlefield.
Necromancer
Quite a few changes are being made to the necromancer. With this update, we continue our focus on survivability and attrition. Dhuumfire is being unified for PvE and PvP and moved to Life Blast instead of requiring the necro to critically hit an enemy. The Death Magic line has been reworked and restructured slightly so that minions are no longer a required element of that trait line. We’re moving some traits around and making room for Armored Shroud, which grants bonus toughness while in Death Shroud, and Soul Comprehension, which increases the base life-force gain from surrounding deaths.
T3 is expensive because it is T3. You can buy 5 Transmutation Stones for 200 gems which is not much gold.
Hair accessories should be dyed as the helm piece imo.
My lvl80 warrior got very easily picked off by two lvl 30 vets and the rest when trying to do swashbuckler’s cove JP. I had no chance, albeit in masterwork gear.
Exotic gear is your friend. Full zerker.
It’s for learning the game.
they mentioned to make the downscaling hitting harder.
Ah ok. Another solution would be a debuff to high lvl character in low level zones. Like 10-30% stat reduction depending on your level and the zone. On top of the current reduction and downscaling.
I got a few as well.
If you’re going to reduce the stats of 1-30 mobs, won’t they become easier for a a lvl 80 with full exotic/ascended? It was easy as it was before..
It is PVE skill but funnily no dungeon group wants a Support member.
Not Full Zerker = Kick
Support is needed in Zerg content.
First thing I thought of =o But we would need a lot more than 2 free slots. Once you can save builds, people will start trying crazy things. It will really open up diversity ^.^
Buy in gem store if you need more than two. Simple as that.
In gw1, I had a minimum of 10 specs for each class, and almost everyone that I knew that played did. Just 2 spots for free would be a huge mistake, and I think anet would already know that. IF a restriction was to be added, it should be much larger, as there will be dozens of builds a person will want to save on their main.
I expect the temple unlock in the gem store would be account wide, so if you really want more than two, you can convert gold to gems and buy a few slots. I expect them to be about 200-400 gems for each unlock.
Why should this feature cost us money? And why are people discussing it’s prices? Such a basic feature was 100% free in GW1 and accessible with the click of a button. You can save dozens maybe hundreds of builds. I don’t see why people jump straight to the payment options before really thinking it through. We’re already being bombarded with gem store items and restrictions (the account-wide bank space is a good example).
GW1 is a totally different game. In a totally different age of gaming.

This is the kitten. I mean, twice as fast attacks on longbow..HNNNGG
I agree with Status. This should be for a Ranger weapons.

Level 30 makes sense.
The first 30 levels you’re learning how to fight against mobs, mobs with different abillities, how to dodge, how to use your weapon skills and weapon switching, how conditions work, how boons work etc. Then there’s crafting, harvesting, collecting, events, meta events, personal story, jumping puzzles etc.
At level 30 dungeons become available.
GW1 zones had more lore that was sewed together. GW2 zones are mostly lore spread out in different directions and not sewed together. GW2 zones need more meta events and more chained events, make the lore in each zone feel like they are sewed together.
“Friendly Play” sounds like going to Kindergarten.
Good change imo. Would have been nice with some more elite skills as well.
Kodan or Tengu or Quaggan and I’m good.
In my opinion, it’s LS + Expansion. Expansion or so every 3 years and LS going on each year, but with a small break during spring/summer.
The Lionguard was also in the battle for Lion’s Arch.
If you put cash in the gem store you do it because you want something really bad or because you’re rich. People that want to earn stuff in-game would convert gold.
In GW1 i had over 3500 hours played. In GW2 i have played for 1200 hours.
I’d go traps and GS/S+Dagger.
Most likely coming with the feature patch.
So it gives players more time to learn their first weapon, then when they equip a new weapon type they have 5 completely different skills dropped on their lap all at once…
okaaay then..
Pretty dumb.
17173? GW2 China announced will sync with the global version previously but we found actually there are a lot things that do not synchronized. For instance, in the US version, the weapon skills unlock by battles but in China server this is by level. What is the reason here?
Mike O’Brien: We think that unlocking weapon skills by level is a better system. It’s simpler, it gives players more time to learn their first weapon, and then it means that they have all skills unlocked immediately when they find new weapon types later in the game.
I don’t hope this change come to NA/EU. Unlocking weapon skills by using the weapon feels more natural and realistic. Unlocking by level is old. I don’t want to go back to WoW type systems.

So.. you can look like Trehearne?
Marjory’s sister will die and then Marjory will mourn her dead sister, and her mother will ask Marjory to avenge her dead sister and kill Mordremoth.
This is the third thread about Braham’s “Uh-huh”. It was pretty fun indeed.
I liked it though. Did stick out from the rest of the lines the NPCs had.
“Uh-huh”
Mb AvA in ESO on a huge map with copy-pasted keeps will be nice, but i could barely make myself play through starting pve stuff for a day before i turned off this clunky crap which zenimax calls a game.
You’re a spoiled gamer.
