Hi, I’m been playing Team Arena a lot and I’m looking for 4 experienced SPvP players for my team. We will play each day and use TS or some other voice chat, practice and get better, participate in matches and Tournaments.

The Feature Update is enough. Wait 1 month and we will have new updates when GW2 released in China.
There should be a feature to guest people in-game. If someone in my team is on another server I should be able to right click them and choose Guest Server. Without having to log out to character screen, go to server screen and then guest and log back on.
Even with the new mega server system I sometimes don’t get into the same server as my girlfriend.
The new meta is 4 Warriors and 1 Engineer.
Warriors just does everything. Tank, Deal Damage, CC, Condition Removal, Roaming.
Engineer bunkers like a god, throwing down AoE like a kitten while dodging and taking a lot of damage and getting away.
Anyone have anything useful to add?
Yes. Levels are outdated.
People are still looking for these classes for dungeon pve speedruns. I thought zerk nerf would help but min-maxers are still going to min-max. An overhaul to the AI is needed. Mobs need different skills and mechanics to counter different builds. I’m tired of people only looking for the meta classes. This have been going on for over a year now. Let us play any class in any team. Improve the AI.
Elementalist: Combo fields and huge damage.
Warrior: Causing a lot of damage while taking a lot of damage.
Guardian: Defensive support (blocks, heals etc) and good damage.
Mesmer: Offensive support. (More damage output for team)
Ranger: kitten in PvE and WvW
Necromancer: Tanky but not enough support or AoE damage.
Thief: Not enough AoE damage and support is mostly poison and blindness.
Engineer: Good at everything but not exceptional.
Chest piece as well.

If NcSoft is going to make something new I’d say they will something of these two.
- Lineage. A whole new Lineage MMORPG, based on Lineage 1 and 2.
- Single Player Guild Wars series. Focuses on Guild Wars lore and story.

They knew about the patch since like 3 weeks ago and they had 1 week to buy it 50% off.

Anyone have the same problem? I click the Buy Gems but nothing happens.
But there’s one thing stopping me. The gem store won’t let me buy gems. I press Buy Gems but nothing happens.

Some white astral illuminating light around your character’s body would be enough.
That would be cool and awesome, however, lore-wise it wouldn’t make sense for the Tengu to come out due to Zhaitan’s rise and his massive army of undead, especially Claw Island where you try to hold off against tons of Risen, the undead ships that rise up, and especially Blightghast (Tequatl look-alike.)
Same goes for Scarlet’s Invasion on Lion’s Arch and how the Tengu were on high alert attacking and killing anyone or anything that came near their gate. Yeah it’s over now, but there’s still the threat of the Destroyers and whats left of the Risen to deal with before the Tengu will/might consider opening their Dominion of Winds to the rest of Tyria.
Followed the living story? it’s after what happens in the personal story. Zhaitan was killed at the end of the personal story and now a new dragon is rising and maybe other enemies. I think it’s time for Tengu to come out.
When I say i want more PvE in WvW I mean there should be more action from the NPCs there. Like the ogres should be able to go to arms and attack a castle.
Player versus Player becomes pretty stale when players take a fort, then lose it and take it back, lose it, take it back etc. If NPCs could also attack and take castles and stuff, make more of an impact.
The bolded is the primary stat bonus focus. Most really are just variants of Knight’s, Rampager’s, and Cleric’s. They are favorable stat combinations I would like to hybrid mix more.

OP: No, you won’t get any gold back or anything like that to compensate for trait changes or stat changes. If you want the best dps possible, Berserker is still the best option.
If WvW was more like AvA in ESO it would be much better. The flavor of PvE is perfect and you get the full PvP action, but in GW2 i think most of the PvE is missing from WvW. Some PvE events should change the battlefield and situations a bit, almost like it did in Aion, there was a NPC faction also besides the two other factions.
I don’t have a single legendary, but i feel for people who has dual legendaries.
Maybe do a glitch report to ArenaNet and they will fix it in a few months.
Some people have dual legendaries. Like two incinerators, but with this new update you can have multiple skins of the same weapon. So, will all those people with dual legendaries get 1 free legendary to compensate? It’s like 1 of their legendaries just disappeared. People that have for example Eternity, get both Twilight and Sunrise, but dual wielders don’t get anything like that.

+225% increase of population in each map is a lot. It’s only low level zones and cities though. lvl 1-15. What if there is 10 players in a map, (100) +225% is 10×3.25which is about 35 players.

Pretty sure maestrochino is implying that the amount of Gold required for a decent amount of Gems is pretty high for most players. ~800 gems usually equates to upwards of 30-40G, which is more than what most players are able to afford. That, coupled with the fact that the amount of effort required to earn that gold vs. the eventual payoff of a gem store item usually isn’t really worth it in my opinion, at least.
If you don’t have the time to earn gold in-game then you can buy gems with cash. You don’t even have to spend anything in the gem store, there’s stuff in-game you can earn. If you say anything else you’re a spoiled human being.

People seem to forget or just ingore the fact that you can convert gold to gems instead of buying gems for cash. If you don’t want to buy gems with cash, because of any reason you have, then you convert gold to buy gems and with those gems you can buy anything in the gem store.
If people are still going to start threads whining about the Gem Store and how ArenaNet only focuses on the gem store because of greed, when there is a way to buy stuff from gem store with in-game currency, then people really are spoiled brats.

Elementalist still have the worst survival and they are a light armor class. My main is a Warrior and i have a Necro, Ele and Ranger alt at 80. My Warrior is superior in PvE content.
The Elementalist need a huge buff in survival. They have to sacrifice too much survival to be able to do damage or they have to sacrifice too much damage to be able to survive. Same with Ranger as well. Elementalist still has one of the best supports though. Necro is close to Warrior imo.
Edit: The Evade on Burning Speed is a good buff to Ele survival.
Warrior is easy as hell, ranger is also easy if not running the proper weapon. Necro is pretty easy as well and ele? Easy as well, just run S/F with cleansing fire and rock armor this will keep you up in most situations. Most people who die as an ele built them wrong or dont have the right skills for the dungeon. Ele is a class that thrives on different weapons and skills. Doing AC? icebow and FGS. doing ascolonian fractal? staff. Doing cliffside/grawl fractal? condi heal. Doing TA? S/F + cleasing fire. I think you are just having a L2P issue.
Armor of Earth which has a 90 second cd? that skill should have a 30-40 second cd.
ArenaNet can’t balance classes. A light class with a defensive utility skill has 90 second cd. At least they are reducing it to 60 in the feature update, but still.
Elementalist is inferior.
Precursors and Legendary should be account bound just like Ascended imo.
Trehearne took too much attention in the story. At the end of the story Trehearne was the hero. It really sucked. Go kitten yourself Trehearne.

That’s not 7 seconds because the video is faster. Like 3x or 4×. So it’s more than 20 seconds. Still, this video has nothing to do with Elementalist survability, only the synergy between 5 Elementalists.
Why does this still exist in a game like GW2 which is a skillbased game? As someone in another thread a few weeks ago said. Use charges instead or something else that count the proc down until activation. I can give a few examples.
Signet of Flames: On every fifth attack: Cause a flame AoE.
Signet of Vampirism: Steal health every third attack. Every tenth attack you AoE steal health.
Instead of 5%, 10%, 30%,50% or whatever chance you use. This system is much better. It’s like moba games uses it.
15% is kitten i agree. Would be better if it was: You block every third projectile while in melee action. This trait gives the ranger a boon that has 3 charges. When all 3 charges are gone you block and the boon resets.
Why would it be refundable? It’s still the best direct damage build.
The build has no condi cleanse or armor, and lacks survivability. Looks like a good zerg surfing build, but it isn’t a beastmaster build really.
It’s for PvE.
It’s easy for Ranger to stack Vulnerability.
one thing has always made me question this whole idea. They claim its to make Critical Damage easier to under stand but what was so hard about a solid number? 10% means 10%. 25% means 25%. how is turning it into every 15 ferocity equals 1% making it easier. all that is gonna do is add decimals.
If they wanted to nerf critical damage then just do rather then create this annoying system.
Because Ferocity down scales better in low level zones. Crit Dmg didn’t.
Who cares if it’s 10% or 20% or 30%. As long as berserker is getting nerfed so other builds are more wanted. Like support, CC builds and tankish builds.
