They seemed to have accidently put the video up for the Dec 10th release…
Enjoy
Seems to be a bug. I’d /bug it in game and on the forums in the bug section.
P2W would make the game different how exactly?
You can currently pay to level, pay to get the best gear in the game, pay to get boosters that give a statistical significant advantage over the best gear in the game, pay to get gold and pay to get cosmetics. The only aspect of the game you can’t P2W currently is dungeon and karma gear, which no one really cares about anyway.
This game is the most P2W AAA game on the market right now.
´
Wait, what are these boosters that give “a statistical significant advantage over the best gear in the game”? I would love to buy them and be able to rofl-stomp everyone, even those much more skilled than me!

Can’t use in sPvP, but feel free to rofl-stomp anyone you want in WvW.
The game is in a downward spiral and new MMO’s are on the way. Expect to see more and more cash grabs in the next few months.
I’d say we see full armor sets (not just skins) within the next 2 months tops.
It’s pretty obvious… sales are down, gem sales are down, people are leaving for MMO’s that are currently in Beta…
They are making a few final cash grabs to get as much money as they can before this game goes belly up.
Actually, scarlet wasn’t alive when Abbadon fell…so there’s almost no way she could be involved.
That’s right. If people would have just voted Evon, we could have possibly had a break form Scarlet.
No bro she went back in time to kill abbadon
Abaddon would have slapped her silly.
Unless she is abaddon!
Judging by the patch notes you just swap out the vial for bloodstone dust and there you go.
Anet has got to be trolling us at this point….
They went on and on about how thermanova had this amazing story that would reveal great things about Tyria… what do we get… Scarlet… again…
So GW2 is trying to become the communist MMO?
Thank you everyone that provided information on the actual game. It seems that there are some things worth checking out.
I got too focused on permanent content and missed the biggest selling point. While the LS is only temporary content it is usually at a minimum entertaining, if not exciting.
While it goes away after 2-4 weeks, it is still fun and worth doing while you can. So while you have missed the previous content the current content is a lot of fun.
Actually if you log in right now and do the current nightmere tower content, it provides a nice summary before the final boss fight about what has happened the last 6 months. It is a good way to get caught up on what you missed.
Nope, it’s unfair to those people that some people share your attitude. I’m not trying to appeal to your passion. I’m not trying to appeal to anything. I’m stating that in my opinion. people who have your opinion are being unfair to others less talented.
I’ve always believed those who are blessed with talent should be gracious and grateful. Naturally not everyone shares that belief.
Well in my defense I am fairly accomplished classical guitarist (been playing since I was 5), and I give lessons every other weekend – for free. I make a living as a history teacher, and I tutor, again free of charge. ;-)
However, I stand by what I said – if one seeks to be carried, solo content is one kick away. Really, I think the less talented people, or the folks with issues impacting their playing ability are the inconsiderate ones. Since this is going into “rl” stuff (I put that in quotes as if games aren’t RL), it’s like someone on a team, say a basketball team. If that person is holding back the team, well… there’s the bench. >>>>
If I broke my hand, I wouldn’t try to run dungeons with people, because I know I wouldn’t contribute worth a hell. It would be very inconsiderate of me to do so.
I hate leeching off people, and if I don’t have the physical ability or talent to do something I am not just going to impose my poor performance on a group because I want to be there. That’s, imo, the very definition of being inconsiderate/unfair.
I’m sorry I’m going to have to leave this conversation…it’s not worth the infraction and that’s surely what would happen if I continue it.
Have a good one.
Well collect yourself and have the conversation without getting infracted. What did I say that offended you so?
If one cannot perform for whatever reason it is inconsiderate/unfair to hold a group back. This is true in GW2 and beyond.
What probably offended him is you’ve essentially said, “those who are afflicted with a disability, do not deserve to enjoy themselves”. It is a disgusting, vile way of thought. This game was marketed to everyone, not just the elite, so “underperformers” have just as much right to all content in this game as “good players”. If you don’t like it, you best move on.
Except that the only one who said that is you.
It is unfair for someone to hold back a group. It just is what it is. No one is saying that you aren’t allowed to group with them. If you knowingly take them along that is great and fine and good for you. But it isn’t fair to the other people who wanted to complete the dungeon. Maybe they only have a limited play time and only have 30 minutes to complete the dungeon. Is it fair that they can’t complete the dungeon because someone is holding the group back?
You are trying to make the under-performers all victims, while it is just as likely that the more skilled players are the victims.
The flaw/problem is that his line of thinking still allows for groups of slower less capable players to get groups that they need and have fun completing the content, while your line of thinking says that the people who need a more skilled group due to any number of legitimate concerns don’t matter at all and should be excluded because how of you personally perceive them.
That is a disgusting and vile way of thought.
If one cannot perform for whatever reason it is inconsiderate/unfair to hold a group back. This is true in GW2 and beyond.
See, this is where your argument is flawed. You use this argument believing everyone joins a group for the most efficient run. This is not the case. Some do, others prefer a more laid back approach like myself. When I am in a group with more hardcore players I try to adapt or leave. But when you are in a group with more casual/laid back players, you should try to adapt or leave. Your way of gaming is not better or worse than our way of gaming.
except that it is your argument that is flawed not his. You say you want to play casually and laid back. I would argue that this is not what you want at all. You say it is but it isn’t.
There is nothing currently in the game stopping you from getting a group together of all casual laid back people and having all the fun you want. Your method of playing isn’t restricted. However if I want efficient skilled players I have no method of finding them. If the majority of the group is casual laid back people then they won’t care about the DPS meter and they won’t have enough votes to kick you out.
A DPS meter changes nothing for you. You can still find people who are casual and laid back and group with them. However now I would be able to also find like minded players and we could hold ourselves to the standard we want for our group. It in no way effects you since as you stated you want to play with laid back people.
But that’s not really what you want is it? You want skilled efficient players to carry you and not kick you do to your subpar performance. You pretend to be an advocate for “fairness” and what is “right”, but really you just want to impose your playstyle on everyone and forbid anyone from playing in a way that you deem “wrong”.
Unfotunetly most of the content has been removed since it was added so it will seem like not a lot changed.
The highlights that are still around:
1. Account Bound Magic Find
2. WvW ranks
3. Custom PvP matches
4. Guild Missions
Those are really the only major things, there are also a bunch of minor things that each only take 5-30 minutes each to complete but at least they are something.
1. New Teq fight. Takes 80+ people and a lot of coordination. Only completable if you are on a high pop server or in a specific Teq guild
2. New path in TA. Replaced an old path. More interesting mechanics, and some achievements, but significantly harder for the same reward as the other paths so it is only very rarely run.
3. A couple new mini-games that are on a rotation. They are not very popular, you will usually be playing by yourself except maybe if you get lucky during prime-time. (keg brawl is an exception, that one seems a little more popular)
4. A new jumping puzzle in the zone above LA. It’s pretty fun, but you can only get the reward once.
Fractal revamp is coming today, that will be the first real permanent content we have gotten in a long time. It should be pretty good.
every class except necro is screwed. All necro group = perma weakness on the enemy= ez mode.
The All Necro group would be suffering from the perma weakness, not the enemy.
All groups would be screwed, which would be fair.
weakness has no effect on conditions. Necros have 4 separate abilities to transfer conditions from themselves to the enemy. Putting a permanent condition on a necro is like them winning the lottery.
Not if the effect is treated separately from regular conditions and transfers/cleanses/etc. are ineffective.
That is true. But still weakness doesn’t effect conditions and I doubt the devs have the technical capabilities to even attempt to implement something that does effect conditions in that manner.
It will be interesting to see what happens. I for one would love to see armor classes get turned on their heads in fractals, and base HP. Nothing would please me more than watching warriors get pummeled over and over when they get the armor and HP of an ele, or seeing the much more skilled at staying alive ele’s have a ton of armor and HP.
How come we do not get any comments on this? If there are no plans for pristine and fractal relics, there should be. The fractal economy is in shambles (What Economy)?
I think by the time they got fractals out the door most of the hardcore players had left. They couldn’t afford to spend more time/resources on a game mode that only a small % of the population plays so it basically got left unfinished.
This should be helpful, but it should be noted that 10 on the new infusions is not the cap. All they’ve said is that the cap is very very high, it is certainly higher than10. Not that it matters since a +11 will take long enough that people will have already figured it out by then.
Also you didn’t mention omni infusions, which are really the same as versatile infusions, no idea why they have different names, but might want to add that.
judging by the panic and confusion on the forums, I’d say it’s a safe bet that this change is even more ill concieved than the initial implementation of ascended gear. I remember having to explain over and over again to guildies that they needed an additional upgrade for their gear to actually get agony resistance. I have no idea how I’m gonna explain THIS to them…
I would like to think it’s pretty self evident. You’re going to get an AR only upgrade item. If you have the slot it goes into you can put it there. The value is infinitely upgradable, but it is mind meltingly awful to actually do it past a certain point, and requires Artifice to do at all.
What else is needed.
Nothing else is needed. It is a very simple very straightforward change. I really don’t understand how anyone could be confused honestly.
By the way, I noticed how a lot of the Risen mobs have way longer fear duration than the player does. And it annoys me, because they have a functional fear, and we don’t. I can fear an enemy away for 1 or 2 seconds, and he comes running right back. But if I get feared, he sends me running halfway across the map (it’s around 4 or 5 seconds I suppose). If I could do that, it would be a viable defense.
Yes please! I swear I will not abuse 5 second fears in wvw
that’s another problem i’ll never understand…
Dev1: ok we have WvW where every player has <30k hp and there will be zergs of 50+ players all fighting each other and fights lasting about 20 seconds.
Dev2: Well in PvE we will have players fighting single bosses with 20millionbillion hp with fights lasts 5-6 minutes.
Dev3: Seems about the same, we’ll apply the same balance to both those game modes.

Healing signet is just really absurd. As a full condition necro, it takes 5-10 seconds just to stack enough conditions on him to negate the passive health he is gaining. At that point he is still at full health. Of course it only takes him 3 hits to kill me from full life and I don’t even have a dream of escaping his absurdly powerful mobility or the godlike chain CC. At this point I usually just go get a snack as soon as I see a warrior within range of me and wait for the respawn as it’s less frustrating.
I strongly suspect anet will need to merge servers after the launch of the next MMO. GW2 chose a very good time to launch. We have been over a year without a new MMO being released, but that grace period is quickly coming to a close. The 2 week rushed buggy living story content will not be enough to hold players here when one of the new games launch. I’ve had 3 guilds of 500 die off since launch, my current one is going strong, but there is a lot of talk about leaving once ESO and wildstar come out, apparently people in the betas enjoy them quite a lot.

Heck no, the frags are the best reward from fractals by far. I have 60 stacks of dragonite ore and <100 fragments. We need more fragments, not less.
How did you pull that off? I don’t think I even have one dragonite ingot, but plenty of emp. I guess that’s what I get for running dungeons instead of zerging content.
www.gw2stuff.com
I have so many ectos and dragonite ore that I could never spend them all. And I only have to do it for 2 hours a day. I typically get 20 ectos and ~200 dragonite ore a night.
They can sink all their stats into dps and end up with 5k dps.
DPS does not mean what you think it means.
I know exactly what it means, it is far more likely that you are unable to form a proper counter argument so you are going to attempt to nit pick a small semantic technicality that doesn’t actually matter since the point is perfectly clear and you will use that as the basis of your argument. But ultimately you will be wrong, so I have just saved you the troubled of having to bother.
In PvE, condition users are disadvantaged for a number of reasons, the chief reason being the condition cap, but the scaling of stats is now a large reason as well due to the introduction of ascended gear. With a 17% overall potential dps gain over exotic armor, zerker stats far outpace the 5% potential dps gain for condition stat users. (defensive scaling is also poor, but that is a whole different discussion)
This coupled with the fact that many bosses purge conditions, transfer conditions and have reduced condition durations, condition users are almost always outclassed by direct physical damage.
Additionally, while condition users get most of their damage increase from the condition damage stat, you need condition duration and precision as well, the problem is that duration isn’t found on gear, AND it is capped, limiting its effectiveness . precision is only indirectly useful through traits and sigils. This leads to much poorer scaling with gear.
Heck no, the frags are the best reward from fractals by far. I have 60 stacks of dragonite ore and <100 fragments. We need more fragments, not less.
Ascended recipes, jewelry boxes, legendary weapons, ascended mats, T7 focusing crystals.
There are lots of things to spend karma on… that’s like saying, I have 10,000g and nothing to spend it on… no you have lots of stuff to spend it on, you are just choosing not to.
Other than a champ or dungeon run, I don’t usually have the opportunity to go for bosses. The only boss that seems to be up when I play is Teq, which may as well be “Let’s waste 15 minutes for no loot.” Occasionally I’ll get to do SB.
Well I don’t know how long you play for, but the longest timer is ~4 hours if I recall (for claw, 3 hour wait and a little over an hour window). Most of the boss timers are between 1-2 hours with <40min window. Also you should go for FE if you have limited play time. It is up usually every 30-40min max (unless he wants to be bugged). Now if you’re playing at off hours and have no one to help, that I understand (which is another reason I hate the 15min timer).
Golem is about the same rate as Fire Elemental but soloing the Golem is much easier.
soloing the golem? what server are you on? Even at 5am there are 50+ people at the golem. I don’t think i’ve ever seen less then 20 people at a world boss event no matter what time I play. Usually the zones go to overflow during prime time if you aren’t fast enough.
The one thing we haven’t heard about is if an Omni infusion can go in the new AR slot type. I would find it rather disturbing if they did not, but it would make 1..4 infusions useless for anything but raw materials for >= +6 infusions.
Of course, we’re going to need a lot of those fodder pieces if that happens. The cheapest way to get 5 more AR would be to take the back/ring/ring to 6/7/7, which will take 160 +1 infusions. (opposed to 512 for a single +10). Getting 10 more would be +9/8/+8 for 512 +1’s (opposed to 16,384 for a single +15)
Well remember that 1’s always drop, but higher numbers also have a chance to drop. I suspect at level 50 you might see +5’s drop from the end chests occasionally. So I don’t think it will be as horrible a grind as it sounds.
So Wall of Reflection didn’t work against Mai Trin? Why not? That seems so inconsistent.
it was a side effect of pushing out content at such a fast pace, they don’t have time to test and thing about everything. Hopefully they will have fixed it now that they’ve had more time.
It’s true that certain professions have an easier time simply dealing with soaking up damage with larger HP pools, but it’s arguable that this is clearly better than the damage avoidance or support mechanics of others. Regardless, adding enemies with endlessly increasing damage output and health isn’t really a very interesting way to add difficulty. That’s why we reduced the HP/Damage scaling in Fractals somewhat and started replacing it with the Mistlock Instabilities that you’ll find starting at level 31.
i don’t find this answer satisfying.
i’m often encountered with people that look for “heavy only” in fractals or different dungeons. Lots of people still don’t understand the concept of Guild Wars 2 and treat it like a classic mmo, because there’s only “one true build” for every class they google for and that’s it.a zerk warrior with let’s say 2,2k def and 18-19k hp will get invited, but not my cond necro with 2,5k def and about 21k hp. which makes my light armor soaking more dmg than a heavy armor.
that just annoys the hell out of me and i believe there’s nothing i (or you ) can do.
See but that’s exactly the problem. A zerker warrior has 2.2k def and 18-19k HP by default, they don’t have to invest a single stat point into it. They can sink all their stats into dps and end up with 5k dps.
You on the other hand in order to get 2.5k def and 21k hp need to put in massive amounts of points into toughness and vitality to get numbers that high. Leaving you with a pathetic amount of dps, probably less than half of the warriors.
So why should I take you? You have basically the same defense as a warrior, but you do half the dps because all your stats are in defense.
If you don’t believe me name a possible unique difficulty increase and I will be happy to point out which class is screwed over by that change.
Armor Corruption: Heavy armor will randomly apply 25 stacks of vulnerability to the wearer for 20 seconds. Medium armor will randomly root the wearer for 7 seconds. Light Armor will randomly apply weakness for 15 seconds.
every class except necro is screwed. All necro group = perma weakness on the enemy= ez mode.
You guys make it seem like you need to play 1000’s upon 1000’s of fractals to make an ascended back piece… I mean come on… you need 1 vial. With account bound MF, you can probably farm one within a few hour on level 1 if you wanted to.
I mean I agree there should be other methods, but you make it sound like there is some giant barrier preventing you from doing fractals… which is just not true.
what gold is consumed to craft ascended?
the 200g price tag to get to level 500 goes directly to other players on the TP. buying the recipes will be a gold sink… but that’s only like 10g.
For every 200g spent on the TP, 30g is sunk from the economy due to the 15% selling fees.
However I doubt that there is enough of a change from ascended armor to even make a dent in the inflation. The prices will fall because people who would normally buy them will be saving their money for crafting the new armor. However they will still rise in price slowly over time I suspect. 6 months from now they will probably be similar in price to F&F dyes are now.
I’m going to go ahead and call it now. The new level 31+ mistlock abilities are going to be biased against certain classes.
No matter what the increased challenge is, it will always cause one class to suffer more than another.
However, with that being said, since fractal levels are account bound I don’t actually see it as a problem. Is endurance regen reduced? Thief is useless… switch to gaurd/warrior. Enemies immune to conditions? Switch from necro to warrior.
However you will probably always be safe with warrior . They don’t really have any weaknesses so you should be good.
If you don’t believe me name a possible unique difficulty increase and I will be happy to point out which class is screwed over by that change.
Supply and Demand to a degree, a variety of factors outside of this keep the price artificially high.
As for gem inflation plan, unlikely that the market will turn south. It is in Anet’s best financial interest to increase the Gem to Gold ratio as that will take more money away from gold sellers. Outside of very large bulk purchases ($100+), the Gem to Gold Ratio is getting very close matching gold sellers. Why spend $10 on site A and risk getting banned when you get almost the same amount from Anet directly?
Good. If people are willing to buy Gems to convert to Gold to buy legendaries, we should cater to them since it’s a win-win-win: Anet makes real $, gem/gold ratio decreases for people like me who spend gold to buy gems, and the transaction of the Legendary will sink gold out of the economy.
The transaction of the legendary would not sink gold out of the economy, since it still remains in the system but it just changed hands. However, people using gold to purchase gems will sink gold out, since there’s a tax of about 30% for the gems exchange (if you buy gems with gold, then sell the gems right away, you’ll end up with about 30% less gold).
Every TP sale takes 15% of the transaction as “tax” which is money that is deleted from the ecnomy. on a sale of 2700g this tax is 405g, quite a hefty amount.
@ZudetGameous Considering we’ll be keeping our current AR (or so it would seem according to Anet) a lot of us will skip right over the first 5 categories. Since it seems the new cap is 50, just use the 5AR infusions you have until you find the most efficient infusion number to replace them with.
Yeah I don’t think it is really a big deal, you can get enough AR without jumping through any crazy hoops. Personally I will be saving them up and just getting the biggest number possible for when it is needed. It was more of a heads up so people didn’t put in their precious +9 only to find out they can’t get it back.
Just wait. For 400 gems you can buy an item that removes them.
I’d call that P2W, but if I did i’d just get shouted down as not knowing what “real” P2W was…
Why didn’t they reset the achievement points when they added the AP reward system and leaderboard? In fact they went the other way around and they retroactively rewarded us.
If they didn’t do it then, there is no reason to do it here.
So, what exactly do you think should be your reward for doing pre-Instability Fractals then?
Funny… I didn’t hear this many complaints when they removed a leg in TA and replaced it with a new one.
If they reset the Dungeon Master Title, what do you think you will hear?
If they changed the entire structure of dungeons, redid all the fights and added in new mechanics then I would hope they would reset the title so it was still meaningful.
Additionally they should reset the tokens, BUT give people at least a weeks notice to spend the current tokens, and introduce new rewards for the new tokens.
Same with world exploration. If they introduce a new area everyone should lose their title until they finish exploring the new area. The rewards however should not be taken away, the reward was for a set of goals which those players achieved, the title and rank is for showing your completion/progress which can come and go as the content changes and as such should be removed as content changes/expands.
@ZudetGameous Considering we’ll be keeping our current AR (or so it would seem according to Anet) a lot of us will skip right over the first 5 categories. Since it seems the new cap is 50, just use the 5AR infusions you have until you find the most efficient infusion number to replace them with.

Those number are technically correct but with one major flaw. You can’t remove infusions.
If you need a 7 to survive the current level you will need 64 +1’s. but then you will slot that +7 making it now useless to future progression. you will need another 64 to get back to +7. so assuming you actually upgrade and slot the infusion you will need 6464+64 = 192 +1’s to go from +7 to +8 slotted.
but yes if you never slot anything, and just leave the slot empty you will only need the stated amount.
The problem here isn’t that runes exclude certain classes (though for them to only exclude engineer is pretty much a slap in the face), the problem is that it would be so simple to make it useful to ALL classes.
instead of “with sigils” just change it to “with sigils or elixirs”
This has no effect at all on the other 7 professions, but it allows it to also work for the last profession.
The problem is one of fast sloppy game design. If the designers had sat down and simply asked, “how can this benefit X profession” this problem would have been avoided completely. But instead it seems they just randomly chose a word to stick in there to make it useful to some random subset.
Are you seriously going to post the exact same thread every single week?
And funnily enough you STILL include things that have been stated in all of your other threads to MOST LIKELY miss the deadline.
Every week until we get answers on all the items.
I understand they said they may need to delay a few things, but they should give us an update and let us know what is going on.
Notice how I no longer said which patch this year will they be coming in. I saw your information in the previous iterations and have changed the wording to ask when these features will be coming, regardless of the year.
Obviously some people have the answers, one only needs to look at the wild upswing in prices for various items on the TP, but instead of datamining and leaked patch notes I would prefer my updates from Anet.
you really spend 70-80s/hr of condition buff instead of the 20-30s/hr you can get with the other identical items?
The old infusions are not changing at all. A new slot is being added for infused items that will take a new agony resist only infusion.
Friendly reminder: You lose all infusions when you upgrade your items to the infused version. Do NOT spent 100+g on an infusion before you infuse it to the highest level.
There are only 2 patches left before the end of the year. We are still missing the following that was supposed to be implemented before the end of the year:
1. New traits
2. New skills
3. Crafting to 500 for armor
4. Ascended armor
5. Precursor crafting
6. New legendary weapons
7. New PvP game modes
8. Legendary weapons in PvP
I can’t image all these things dropping in the same patch. Where is the info on these? What patch are they coming in?
Yes, gossamer is overpriced. Remember it used to be one silver before the ascended armor announcements. No one needed gossamer then, and no one needs it now still. When the price won’t climb enough after heavy manipulation on the first night, there will be significant dumping.
Hardened leather squares, however… I’m pretty sure people will use these in great quantities to level up their leathersmithing and armorsmith to lvl 430 or so. After that, you use a tiny bit of gossamer for about 4 to 5 armor pieces, and you salvage dungeon armor for the new insignia (similar to weapon inscriptions, like rabid and shaman). Yes, these insignia are already in the game as codes and can even be found on wiki. Anyway, at 450 to 475 you use the refining + toxic recipes, and after that, another 5 pieces using inscriptions salvaged from dungeon armor or you craft cheap snowflake giver’s armor. Voila, you’re now lvl 500 and used under 100 pieces of gossamer scraps. I even left out a few other cheap options (such as exotic dirt cheap sigil crafting)
But, but, what will you do with those 3 stacks of gossamer scraps/bolts that you didn’t really need? That’s right, you sell it to buy wool, linen and cotton for the bolts of damask you’ll undoubtedly need in great quantities. Slowly of course, due to the time-gating, but you will need them eventually, especially if you have more than one character.
Prices for gossamer scraps will most definitely to up. Unlike ancient wood, you can’t reliably farm the scraps. Currently there are 54,000 scraps (rounded up) on the market. Let’s say that people are storing twice that many in their banks (likely nowhere near as this).
It’ll take roughly a stack to level up tailor and whatever is needed for armorer. With 162,000 scraps in supply divided by 250, you’ll have enough for 648 people. Considering there will be more than that many trying to max tailoring, the cost will most definitely rise.
What people keep missing is that it does not matter how many scraps people are holding onto. The supply input is pretty consistent as there really is no way to farm them. You can promote silk but there is a threshold where that is no longer cost effective.
Considering you’ll need silk for the T7, these will be drained quickly and the price will go up exponentially. I believe that 3 million silk scraps only yields enough for 20,000 T7 cloths. In pretty sure there’s more than 20,000 active players in this game and the supply input will not be able to keep up for the first week until things settle down.
The gossamer scraps in people’s banks are still considered part of the supply. Those same scraps would have been bought up the second ascended armor was released by people who needed them and those looking to flip them. Stockpiling makes no difference other than make the price for volatile sooner.
you are severely underestimating that amount stockpiled. I have 6000 gossamer scraps personally, and I know a couple people with 10x that amount.
I think the biggest issues that need to be addressed in order of importance are:
1. Condition cap- condition users will always be less desirable until they stop gimping themselves
2. Defiant/unshakeable- all the condition immunity, condition cleanses, useless fear, they all reduce the effectivness of condition users while there is no penalty for direct damage users.
3. Gear scaling. Going from full exotic to full ascended armor gives zerkers a ~17% dmg increase. Going from full exotic to full ascended gives rabid users a 5.1% dmg increase. This alone completely makes condition users worthless once ascended armor comes out.
4. Condition overrides- my 900dps burn being replaced by a 400dps burn is just nonsense. conditions should be unique to the applier.
They’d already fixed that. You use a crystalline dust instead of the fractal relic.

Thanks for the info!
Edit: Problem solved.

I have a resilient infusion and it costed me a stack of Armored Scales, what does this mean for me?
nothing. the infused items are gaining an additional slot. The old slot isn’t changing at all. You still get that infusion, plus an additional agony resist only slot.
