I swear all they have to do (with no exaggerations) is look at ALL the amazing civilized posts that me and a couple of other people have left on the forums, PLENTY of it, well organized, easily understandable.
A few number tweaking and voila. Instead, once again, we see a quite evident bias on the state of class balance. Oh, and before you go with the “not a balance patch” check out the necro’s “fixes”.

soloqueue would have an individual leaderboard, and players wouldnt be hoping in and out mid match. solqueue will be fun, hotjoin is a representation of evil.

It’s impossible for the system to recognize who’s a dps or who’s a bunker, it’s up to the people in the team to talk up a strategy and decide who should bunker or dps. In the end this problem is in the community for never talking any strategy before the match. You can’t pin this one on anet, sorry.
And they already said soloqueue-only is coming “down the pipe”, why keep kittening about it?
1v1 tournies have a problem with the fact that while the game was made so you can indeed fight someone solo, its balanced around team-play. That and currently, mesmers and sword thieves are amongst the top dogs in 1v1s currently if played well. So it would be fine to have this, but you would most likely see a flood of the same classes over and over with similar builds.
1vs1 tournaments are fine and if organized by independent entities why not? just as long as anet doesnt waste time with it.
and people keep talking about mesmers and thieves and rangers beeing the top tier in 1vs1, yet the final was ele vs engie, so 1v1 balance is a non problem (even necros have a decent 1 on 1 spec) given that it is something that anet doesnt really aim for.

you’re lacking a very important question regarding downed state synergy: when rezzing/preventing teamate stomp.
from a teamfight perspective most things are balanced yeah.
-Guardians dont have the best downed state but are the best ressers/stompers and best at preventing stomps from teammates.
-thieves have the best downed state but absolutely cant stomp in a teamfight. they can also save teammates from stability/invulnerabilty stomps.
-Eles have 2nd best downed state and are 2nd best stompers.
-Mesmers have a sort of rng downed state and can stomp under certain circunstances. they can also use IoL.
-Engies are on the same level of warriors in downed state but they apply insane pressure on downed enemies and people trying to ress them. they can also save teammates from stability/invulnerabilty stomps.
-Warriors also apply insane pressure with hundred blades but are very hard to ress because of their downed state.
-Necros can do some clutch plays with corrupt boon and fear to save teammates from stability stomp, but its a little harder. and they have the worst downed state in the lot. they also have signet but its kinda out of flavor right now. even the necro in the master of the mists NA final wasnt using it.
To me downed state actually synergyzes very well in a teamfight situation.
It’s different in 1v1 ofc, where if both opponents go down you already know who’s gonna win.

Guys i also had a new idea for this new game mode:
3 big circles you have to stand on for like 10 seconds to cap it for your team and gain points, first team to 500 wins! PLEASE TELL ME YOUR OPINION ! DOESN’T MATTER IF IT’S BAD OR GOOD !
While I admire your awesomeness and you are very skill player, I did not see much your actions vs another 2 Mesmer. With just one skill Blurred Frenzy, Mesmer already got Cripple, Immobilize, Teleport, Invulnerable then Burst, all of this happened can be repeated every 8s.. That ’s in my opinion too much packed in just one skill and in such a shorter CD. I play as an Elementalist, I have no trouble dealing with Mesmer 1on1 thanks all to my Stun Breaker and Condtion Cleanse, but I will get destroyed if have to deal with 2 Mesmers of Lesser Skill (not too much). With all the clones they generated, 6 clones + 2 real bodies, the dams of Phantasm, the pull from Focus, the Shatter every 10s, then Blurred Frenzy on top of everything else. Just by identify them already among all is a hard already task enough, then you have to Click on them, not to mention you can easily lose the target when they hop in stealth,also lose target when your dumb right Mouse randomly click on the Clones when u move camera, then you have to re-identify them again, how are we gonna have time to watch for Blurred Frenzy or dodge them.. It seems like impossible to me even as a Eles.
If you are fighting 2 mesmers you are not supposed to live anyway, unless you pull your A-game. Unless you’re an ele, like you said. if you’re a cantrip ele you can make 131244 mistakes and still live long enough.
And since when does blurred frenzy give all this? “Cripple, Immobilize, Teleport, Invulnerable then Burst” Oo
you cant have friendly fire for siege weapons, it makes no sense, it would defeat the purpose of the mechanic. might aswell not have it. you cant have class restriction, then there yould be rooms like “no thieves allowed” just because the owner hates thieves lol trait point limit? that is not only a weird wish but i very much doubt it would be possible because then people would have to re-do builds before game start.
only thing CA’s need is an option to turn off points. thats pretty much it.maybe an option to add invisible walls to keep players inside an area for tdm servers.

That was my fault then.
I thought that venoms still have their effects after the attack misses, it happened to me sometimes.If the attack miss because it is out of range or being evaded, I believe the poison still remains. I am already tested this with my friend, so I could strongly confirm this. But if the attack miss because of Blind, Invulnerable, it counted akitten, just no Dams. Therefore the Poison is used.

While ur suggestion is good but in an fast paced game like Gw2 and in tPvP, it is impposible to write it down in chat. Plus worry too much about Moa, like remember who has been used it, who is not, what is the CD, etc… reduces the effectiveness of the team more than 50% and exhaust their mind.
you dont need to right it down immediatly, you see the moa come off (say at 14:33) and after you beat/loose to the mesmer you simply write in chat “moa 11:33”. how is it exhausting? its part of getting good on a game knowing different skill’s cds, and knowing and communicating this stuff with your team will only increase effectiveness, why would it decrease it? And if its written in chat you dont even need to remember it.
The point is when a Thief Basilik Venom you and you being stoned, expect BS follow up next. And if that thief is a DPS thief, most likely all the time, then that BS will put you on at least 50% health. A few extra auto attack and HS, HS,HS, you will see yourself down on the ground in no time. Ask a thief friend and try it out to confirm my statement.
Maybe ahuba, you should also put a way to counter them as well, not just by dodging. I am sure many players here can tell you how to dodge them effectively and you can include it on the topic as well.

There are different ways for different classes to counter different moves, i just wanted to make a short list of important animations to learn :d
to deal with moa people should start getting used to write down in chat cd on important skills so your team can know when the mesmer will have it up. If you can know the mesmer has no moa, you’re fine, if you know he has moa available you just try to guess the timing. but in most games you never know when he has the skill available.
You can block it, or put fear after it, or any other class mechanic that give u those few safe second after beeing hit by basilik. ( i.g just blind thief ).
The point is, why do I even think to avoid any weapon hit which comes from the Thief after he has used Basilisk Venom? It is an incredible waste of endurance. Also if you succeed to dodge the first two attempt to trigger the venom, on the third you are going to eat it anyway. It is counter-productive to suggest to dodge Basilisk, it is way better to get hit from it and then use the stunbreaker.

no, mages dont have to be ranged, but I cant see why I cant have the option to be ranged. Having to go melee usually means you have to be running a lot of defense, in eles case it means you have to take at least 20/30 points on water and arcana, that it self cuts into S/D, which i previously discussed and wont do it again (please read the entire post nefore leaving a comment).
Lots of you are talking about things I already covered, please read the entire thing, I dont like to repeat mysel. Anyways, not all the people here are a coordinated, high ranking team that want to be in the very top. There will always be the most viable classes, then there will be the medium, and then the crappy tier. There is such thing called; solo queue and also medium-skills players.
Warriors and necros do perfectly fine in those scenarios, even the devs themselves agreed on that one. Earlier someone mentioned; “im looking at you RtL” once again, STAFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF , my goodness, READ, MAYBE? another prson mentioned “2 decent playes vs a necro”, im sorry, but tell me what decent player can survive a coordinated 2 player gank and come alive with a double kill? And dont tell me D/D ele, because as good as they are now, if the enemies are as “decent” as you made them out to be, then they would kill the ele or force them to retreat, no problem, also, once again, and cant repeat it enough time, I know D/D is strong, it is the same strenght that is pulling our weight, until D/D gets some nerfs and people start playing staff scepter again, the class will remains the same because devs dont care about weapon viability, only class “representation”.
1st, d/d gets just the same usage as s/d, stop acting like scepter sucks.
2nd, necromancer and warrior are even worse in soloqueue. both these classes need their teams too coordinate on order to do their job. a warrior is more dependent on his team playing well than in his own skill. necros are dependent on good teamfight setups and you rarelly get that queueing solo. both classes need a team comp built around their skills.
3rd, what you fail to understand is that while other weapons suck for eles, they have one weapon set/build that really puts them in a relevant tier. warriors have zero. and while things are like this, warriors should be the priority.
